Laying the Foundation | Episode 7

ABOUT THIS EPISODE

This week's episode features a program in their second season, that has laid a solid foundation for years to come. Team Maryland turned heads instantly at the start of the season, and now as we head towards the EHL Playoffs, they are a definite sleeper to keep an eye on in the Mid-Atlantic Conference.

Josh Fusco is in his 3rd season in the EHL, and his 1st with Team Maryland. Coming over from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights, Fusco has helped Team Maryland make tremendous strides in just their second season in the league.

Evan Green has been with Fusco the past few years, and came over with his coach to serve as the team captain this season. Green and Tristan Mock are the first two commits for Maryland, as the '99 leaders of their team will be joining Becker College together this fall.

Green and Mock are each helping to echo the message that Fusco is delivering to his team, with their sights set on Providence, RI, and the 2020 EHL Frozen Finals.

Welcome to the show with Neil Ravin. With over onezero NCAA commitments, the ehl is the proven path to college. Turn it up and learn more about the college placement leader at the division two and three levels. Welcome into the each show once again. By name is Theo Raven. This is season one, episode number seven, brought to you by Gael sticks, the official training aid of the east show. Let's welcome in this week's guess. It's team Marilyn and it's Joss Fusco, Evan Green and Tristan mock. Welcome to the PODCAST, guys, they nil. Thanks for having us. Thank you, guys, for having us. Thank you for having us now, and we'll jump right into it first with you, Josh So. You have previous experience in this league. For those that don't know, you were part of the Wolkesbury Scranton nights program that's no longer in the EH shell. When everything was unfolding last year and you knew that this position was opening up with team Marilyn, what was it about team Marilyn and the EHL that made you want to stay in the League? The biggest thing was was staying in the League. I wanted to stay in the eastern Hockey League because of what it is and, you know, the the representation it has throughout the hockey community, the strength of the League and an obviously the players development side of things with the college commitments and the advancement of players. I think the biggest thing for me with team marilynd was it was an opportunity for me to to finally take control of something and and build something of my own. The door was wide open here. The facilities are spectacular. It's it's quite amazing when it comes to what we have to offer junior hockey players and I think it's a playland for them, you know, with our facilities and the Locker Room Facility, the weight room, all the staff that we have, the members of our organization. That was the appealing thing to me and I saw an opportunity to be the guy in charge and come in and build something from the ground up and and again, stay in the eastern hockey league. Was the biggest thing. And then we'll go with you first, Evan. You stay in the League also now in your age out year. When did you first talked about talk with coach Fuss about staying with him? And I know you're from Missouri. Didn't make any difference to you. If you're playing in Wilkes Bare, you're playing in Maryland. No, not really. I actually met coach Flus going real funny way. I was having Thanksgiving with a buddy and he happened to be over his house and so I met a month before I ended up playing on the team, and then you just kind of met as people who. I really met him as a coach and got along great. Thought it was a great dude. And then once I saw an opportunity to play in the League after my team you year, I was real excited about it. First days the junior hockey and he took me in with open arms and honestly, it's a lot of development in my game. And when looks very no longer had a team in the EHL, I figured if I was going to play in the then a three team, I could do that at home, but if I had an opportunity to play the hl it I definitely wanted to do that and I saw an opportunities come here and help be part of change in team Maryland from what it was last year and looked like a great opportunity. I think that's a great point too, because, Tristan, you have experience in the past with both an na three team at USPHL team. But, like Evan in your age out year, you chose to come or Evans stayed. You chose to come to the EHL. What was it about? JOSS FOSCO was about the EHL. The major come to team Maryland both, to be honest. So do I'm at coach Fosco over the summer. Talk to him up that and you know, seems like a great guy and I heard the AHL was good for getting commitments. And you know, I was an age out so I needed somewhere to go and somewhe where I was going to be seen in this seemed like the perfect opportunity for me. And then back around at Josh. Not The best season last year for team are and we all talk about that too much. But right out of the gate this year everyone noticed something different. Now you would won four of the first seven games. That the Games that you lost for by two goals or one goal. Eat. Everyone was like, okay, things have changed. When you first took over in the position, did ownership give you any goals to meet, or was it like you kind of already said, it was a just free whatever you can accomplish. It's going to be a big step from last year. Yeah, I think the biggest thing in my mind, obviously you want to compete for a championship every year and you want to have, you know, competitive hockey team. I think the biggest goal for me was the quality of the players right, and we talk a lot about that as coaches, especially in this league, the quality of the player that we have on our teams and a part of our organizations. Ownership didn't put a whole lot of...

...pressure on me really. They just wanted to see things moving the right direction. You know, not to pat myself on the back with it, but I think they knew that they were getting somebody to come in here that's going to get the job done, get the organization moving in the right direction. You know, be a part of the family down here with team Maryland youth, you know what, our eight teams, and work with the youth teams on developing players. And then you have the black bearers, right, which is the same ownership group. So the biggest the biggest focus was having somebody in this building that was going to get the job done. As far as moving things along in the right direction and creating a quality program my mind, obviously, is I want to win a championship. You know, I had that taste in providence last year. got a couple of boys that were on that team here with me in Maryland and the biggest thing for me was identifying players that can come in, make an impact, give them a home, give them a future, put them on the right direction and identify players that you know, we talked a lot about trust in the process when it becomes, when it comes down to it, right, trust the process of your development, trust the process of what it's like to be a hockey player at a high level on and off the ice. I want guys I want to grow on the ice. I want guys that are going to grow with the game of hockey and grow up in mature as an adult and and leave my building at the end of the season moving on to the next level, whether it's college or North American Hockey League or or whatever their destination may be. I want them leaving this building a better person. So that was my biggest focus, identifying guys that want to be here, want to play at a high level, want to develop, want to grow and I trusted myself, knowing that if I had those players and those what those type of kids, I can build something pretty special here and get you know, yeah, I get the get the program on the right path, but have a successful season. And you know, you look at where we were from the beginning of the year, like taking off the start that we did, it definitely was definitely was settling and made you feel good about where we were going. But you know, it's more about the players and I knew that if you do right by the players and you have the right guys and it'll take off. It'll, you know, nature runs its course, right, that's that's the famous saying. So I knew that would happen. And then it was just little goals, you know, little goals on where we were at in the season, little goals with where we're at we getting guys and practices at the next level, where we were at with getting guys college visits, talking to schools, opening that door to guys, and obviously make the playoffs, right. So that was goal number one, make the playoffs, and then, you know, you work from there and I think this group has done a tremendous job with those goals, you know, just working at little things, chipping away becoming better hockey players. Again, I go back to our facilities and what we have and our strength and conditioning staff or coaches that come out and help you. We have a skills coach that comes out and works with the guys. So we have the tools here and and that's something you know when you talk to you know recruiting kids. I'm going to give you a toolbox and what you do with those tools is up to you. The tools are here. What you build with it was up to you. And and I want to open one door, and that door is our entrance to our locker room facility. On the other side of that doors there's forty other door story to open. It's your future. Trust to process and that's been our motel the whole years, trust in the process within ourselves and as a group. I think those are all some great points there, and part of those tools that process is having cat in some leaders that you can rely on to deliver the message that you're trying to convey to all your players. And Evan, you're a captain of this team. To get off to the start that you guys did, that kind of helped settle things in for this year's new group. Yeah, UM, like losponsible mentioned, I was in the final four last year on that Wolkesbury team and just the bar was set high. Bar Wasn't set just to be better than the team last year. We wanted to make the playoffs. Will make a deep run in the playoffs. We don't. We don't just want to settle for being mediocre. We feel like we have a good group, completely different group and last year, and, you know, just never being settled for where we're at. We want to strive to be better and we know we can be and yeah, we're happy with the progress that we've made over the year, but the season is not done. We still have regular season games to play, we still have a playoff push coming and we want to take care of those and just not settle for anything less and what we can absolutely provide. And then transitioning back to...

...earlier in the year, for you, Tristan, early on in the year you get to play for the Ehl all star team and you played very well over those three days in October. How did that experience yeah, great, coal. How did that experience help to change out of the experience help, you know, change your game and I'll have you seen your play improved since that weekend. Well, obviously the stuff from juniors to college is a big jump. So just getting to see the you know, the pace, the style of play, the physicality. You know, it's a little bit faster guys, guys are harder on hucks. It was just very beneficial towards me because now I know what I have to do to be successful college hockey player and I think in those three games that you know, I was a big learning curve for me and I learned a lot and I'm going to be ready to go next year when I go to school. And when you came back to team Maryland after that week and where there a lot of guys in the locks room that we get kind of asked you questions. What was it like? What do I have to do better and stuff like that. Yeah, for sure. I mean they were always coming up to me saying hey, well, I need to do to play college hockey, and I gave him on the stansers. You know, you got to be harder in your stick, you got to be quicker than this, you gotta do this and that. You know, they came to me as a leader and asked me one on one and I told them. And you know, things have been going really well for us here. And you talk about college hockey, you're both committed. I'll let Evan answer this one. You're going to the same school next year. Was this planned or did it just happen? Know, this absolutely came out of nowhere. Um, we to talk to a coach, Young Becker, and he was really interested in us and we actually have a buddy who's on the team there and we're like yeah, we'll go visit, we'll go see what it's like. No, keeping all our options open. We're both ninety nines. We understand that at this point we can't be too highly on ourselves. We have to appreciate every opportunity that we're given. So we went up there and when we visited the school, the team was awesome, the facilities were fantastic. It's it's in Worcester Massachusetts, so just thirty minute train ride to Boston and I don't know, we both just kind of fell in love with the school and we're up there and we saw it is a great opportunity to spend the next our next four years of our hockey career. So we are we going to be roommates next year again to or now? We're working on that more than so. Then, shifting back to Josh, one thing that I noticed in getting ready for this interview is with your team you've actually been outscored in the first period of games so far this year, but then in the second and third period you continue to outscore your opponents. Is that a credit to what you guys talked about in between periods? Is it credit to the conditioning off the ice? What do you point that towards? That, as the Games go on, your team gets better? I'm going to credit to the kids. You know the guys, you know their competitors. I think the environment that we have in that locker room with these guys, like Havan having mentioned earlier, like don't settle for anything less. That's our mentality and we know for us to be successful we have to we have to play sixty minutes of hockey. It's not going to be ten minutes spurts. It's not going to be, you know, the last five minutes of the game or the first five minutes of the game. That's going to you know that that's going to be the outcome of a hockey game. You know, the big thing is, you look at our lineup right, a lot of young kids, a lot of young guys, a lot of rookies mix in with the older guys, the veteran guys and, and I credit the veteran guys and our leadership to captain, you know, guys like mocker here and green. It's that leadership in that locker room, keeping guys settle, keeping keeping guys relaxed. Known there's a lot of hockey left, I think down the stretch here, especially when we went to that rough patch in December, you know, we kind of took a game five minutes at a time and we took that mentality and we started adopting the mentality of we're one team, were one hearpeat. We need everybody on board and you've seen a lot of these younger kids grow throughout the year and and that's been our success. Just stay in patient with the process. Yeah, and then, you know, in game adjustments. I think a lot of these kids are sponges and and they want to grow and they want to learn and that's part of the game, right. Is Your your mistakes, learn from them. Pointed out you know, take the negatives, but give the positives and and we're going to move forward and we're going to keep shipping away and and yeah, I think with our style of practices that we have here, with the work that we put in here, you see a stronger late in games and...

I credited to that. But it ultimately comes down to the kids, right, and I go back to what I said earlier, the quality of the kid. You know, they want to be here, they want to grow, they want to develop, they want to become better hockey players, they want to become better athletes and, you know, mature with the game and and I think that's that's been success, right, is is the in game adjustments and and being an athlete and having that competitive edge to them. We know that when we're in a game, for down by two goals or three goals, we're still in a hockey game and there's no panic button. It's just keeping guys in check. You know, I'll keep going through it. Accountability is a big thing, right. You see that and younger guys. So the veterans have been been good with holding themselves accountable to be able to point out things to the younger guys to hold them accountable and then it goes right back. So if younger guys hold himself accountable first, then he can hold a veteran accountable and again that's been adopted. So I think that's the success waiting games for us is all those things. Everything adds up and he just threw up. Had the Nancy you said. A younger guys a lot tests. Now I mentioned, you know, between mocking green. They're both committed. There other players that maybe the names aren't as wellknown across the League, but fans and college coaches keep an eye on down the stretch here. Yeah, just quite a few. All the ninety nine are looking at schools. All of the age out guys are looking at schools and waging options and, you know, trying to decide. Like Green and mock said, when they went to backer they fell in love with it and it felt like home to them. And you know that's been the process with a nine nine. Find the right fit, find someplace where you're going to be happy for four years. It's not necessarily always about, you know, the the program and wins and losses and it's more about your academic is and your career, the path you're taken. Would the younger guys? Yeah, you look at Jada router. He just played for his home country and in the world junior championships there and the second division, I believe it was, and they just got sober by the way. You look at Dennis Arkapanco, he got called up, played with the black players and the NA couple weeks ago and obviously use a product of me in Wilkes Barre and had time there at the next level. I think a guy that I say this, they've Jeff Redman. He's been a tremendous asset to us. He's got a lot of spunk, a lot of fire in his game, but he's been a kid that really from day one has grown a lot and you know he's taking that toolbox and and he's working on his game, he's working on becoming a better hockey player and he's had some some schools already has an old one show interest in them, Joseph Donnehue. He's been tremendous for us on the backside. You know, he's continued to grow and develop his game. He's he's got some interest to interest as two thousands a couple couple guys we went out a visit a couple weeks ago to a newer program Albernia, with Vinnie petry Angelo over there starting that program up. You know, O ones and two thousands going on a visit there, which it just shows that you know the quality of the players that we have and the quality of the guys that we have and maybe that trust factor between you know, knowing that they're here under my direction. It shows where they're going to be in a couple of years. You know, and I can keep going down the list. John McDonald, another defenseman of ours, young two thousand, bobby, Bobby Guyer. He's been tremendous and is really developed his game and he's got some opportunities at the next level ahead of them. So it's a lot. There's a lot and I don't think there's very many negatives to take out of this season when it comes to the development of our guys here, and I I I throw that success towards our bedroom guys like the two are sitting here with me right now, and and the other guys in that locker room and and what we have here to offer at Marian and we'll sift back to those two veterans right now. Give them a one more Evan, will start with you. As I mentioned before getting ready for this interview, I was looking at a few different things that have come up so far from you guys. One thing that's just totally popped off that I didn't even notice is that since January nineteen you've been home and you'll continue to be home through the end of the year. You're in a stretch for it's ten straight home games to finish off the year. With previous year's experience, you can kind of go off of this. Does that help you...

...feel more comfortable down the stretch? How does that make you better prepared for the postseason staying at home all that time? Well, but definitely helps, because we were coming off a two months stretch before that, the month of November and December, where we played, oh I think we went from November six to January ten without a home game. We were on the road for two straight months. So this really just being home, being able to get in a routine. You know, aren't having the get to the rink early to get on buses for games. You can you can stop at the same Duncan donuts, so we go to every time. We can sleep in our beds every time. Just really get refreshed here and it was a good reset after a long stretch of road games to help those speed refresh coming in the playoffs. And we'll wrap it up with Tris and now coming into playoffs. Now it's unknown what your final seed will be, but I would imagine that the team has to feel a sense of confidence knowing that, whether it's the rough riders, the little flyers, the junior flyers, no matter who you face, you can you can deep them, you have before and you can definitely play with those teams. Yeah, I mean definitely were. We're definitely confident going into playoffs down the stretch. You know, we see the little flyers one more time. That's gonna be a big game for us because that's looking like our first round matchup right now and you know we've done well against them. We've had success against every team in our division so far, so we're not really scared of anybody and we're coming to play well. There you have a folks Triss and dismasinment coming up on Friday. They have the Philadelphia Little Flyers at home at eleven o'clock and then they have three games after that, all against the North Carolina golden bears as they get ready for the postseason. Maybe you can call them a sleeper team. They were a little bit last year, but Wilke spirit got all the way to the frozen finals and their joss bust goes guid and so make sure to keep an eye on team Maryland as we head into the postseason. Then we'll not done the stress. Guys. Thank you, thanks, new thank you very much for having us. Thank you. Thanks again to team Marylyn for jumping on the podcast this week. Josh Fosco, Evan Green and Tristan Moch a program definitely to watch. Kind of has a similar field to last last year's Wilkesbury scriend. Nice team, one that you may turn away for a second and then next thing you know they're in Providence. So with that, though, let's welcome in. My E crew, Jeff and Brittany were in the February. Now, as I mentioned last week, we're now another week closer and still there's really not that much has been determined yet. NOPE, nothing. And what do you know, another weekend and another rangers lumberjacks split. Guys, what that? Those two just literally can't sweep each other. Huh. It was almost not a split, though. It was almost not a split, because almost not a split. Pretty was up there. I was up there. That's great time the trip that never ended. Now it was not there for legal like treating. So that was about a Britain. What are you? How bloody arena we have? Let you ANA is warm. Well, not always know. This weekend it wasn't. It was like ten degrees outside, legit and it was warm as a kind. Is Three when you text this the day? Yeah, I don't know. hows warmer inside them, because whenever I'm there is freezing. No, it was wonderful. I had no complaints. As the boat goes in and all sudden just gets Sunday and conditions are great and yeah, what do you read? It could just sense britting. Mike Bel Think. Oh my God, all right, I'm not joking you. Neil and Jeff stand for these microphones is so bad for everyone. A hold, Neil. Literally before we went on, just asked Neil microphone. Dude, the microphone stand is the worst. Okay, just providing good communic value to our fans. Done. I'm done with them. Britney's on a two week heater of Gotgrophon. Sorry, Everybod as I was saying in the middle of there. At some point, Jeff, you know, we have our annual league banquet. The lumberjacks are, I think, probably the only team that has a team banquet and low on the whole, something that I've never attended. The first time Brittany ever steps foot into the state of Vermont she goes to lumberjack's banquet on Sunday nights. So she did. She gets swag. You saw the Wolf Swag Right, Wolf Swag, Andrew and Tim. I gotta send some text you guys. I would like some Wolf Swag to you think a wolf where every week they think no, seriously, love the wolves. Great. It's like a BGR swag to Richie get us and starts on. Some texts please. Britney has enough of that stuff, so you can just power from her. Something tells me that if it's pretty far...

...all is it going to fit me. But well, how, how? How was the LUMBERJACK'S BANQUET? Oh my God, it was so nice. Are Run to some little speeches. They give all like team awards, and you know the forward defense been most improved. And then they have one called the lumberjack award and it was like cut, like Jimmy gave this whole like spreal and it was cute and like tyleists. You want it, right? So yeah, and then you nice. I think I'm pretty sure. And then on the P knicks backhart one it and Knicks backhard is like my favorite's she's great. He's like the nicest kid ever. He was like, yeah, I had help him with the shootout this weekend because he didn't know how to do it. He's like, can you help me live score this and I was like yeah, sure, he's sure to scanny O, Buffalo and one, absolutely no words right. Same with her doozy, and yeah, right now does he actually didn't want anything. Buff got something. Don't do buff got something in Logan got something, and I don't know, I can't remember who got what. But so hold on, let's go back. Oh, most valuable player, love and got that. Okay, great, well, awesome, right, I feel's William Sweat that. Let's go back to the lumber jack a second. That you defined this Hute. Explain to everyone what it means to win the lumber check award. Okay, like hard work off on the ice. What is it both, all of it. It's basically the person who represents what the Vermont lumberjacks are all about better than you. Yeah, Jack, maybe. Yeah, so like you little ward, like fun. So they actually were losing in Game One, Jeff and four to one. Jimmy made a bold move. He pulled Redouzy, went to Dylan whalen. They come back when that one in a shoot out, and then next day started, whalen pulled whale and went through a duzy. They come back and win and and lose that one, right, but reducey kept a minute. At the same time. I think he had thirty saves. The second thing. I could be wrong, I'll go with it. Yeah, sure. So it was a similar weekend as today. Lay head right, you see. They split all four of their games. The slight edge goes to rich because he had his one of his losses was in his shootout. So we guess the extra point a few will right. What's now wild is where we stand in the Netherland Conference standing. So before I get into that, now let's start making your way around the east show. It's time for this week segment of around the east show and, as I was saying, those the wind, tops of Sand and dangers are in birthplace. What's going to be really crazy to watch. We're obviously recording this podcast earlier this week, dropping at the usual Thursday. W always do. Vermons got four games left, two a guess it. That's it. It's it. Oh yeah, to give to see coast, to at Valley who see coast, to value my schedule for them. So if they win, anyways, if they will, by Sir. On paper everything, yes, everything's great. On paper. I mean they know trieder's going to be looking his chops knocked them off and the day try this the last to win a couple of games shore just to quinch their spot, unless you know the chiefs are Valius and put together a street to catch them. But took the words were never my mouth. The SA Vermont wins there for Games and they get to seventy one points. The key thing to watch then is they hold the tiebreaker over the New Hampshire Avalanche, having won three of the four matchups. Oh the avalanche. I told you. We're drop it where. Recording this earlier, dropping it later. The avalanche have seven games remaining. If they go six in one, it's not good enough really if they go, if they go six, Oh and one, it's it's good enough. Buy a point. And they're heaters a little hotter than bride's MIC dropping heater, as most people know. Right nine to one of the last ten they've been. I was checking out some doing some research earlier and they've just been lots of wwwwwes for Sorella and roll labs, roll man. I can give them credit that. Everyone's pretty much counted them out right. We've all been talking about the Jackson, Rangers and Rangers and the Jackson. Come the avalanche sneaking run up in the standards, just doing what they use like do, producing and getting wins. And Yeah, that's there's probably gonna be another team that scared watch in the playoffs. And here's where it here's what it gets so wild, right. So, recording this Tuesday, dropping it Thursday. By the time this drops, the avalanche will help play the warriors, who like the lumberjacks playing the warriors. On paper, one team is the favorite, one team is not...

...moving on moving I. I was gonna say that was not a slight to anybody. No, I am your coach, Mc graph, coach and Drekopolis. All the game following that game, they go express, wizard, spartans, Rangers, wolves, wolves. So they could win out. If they go seven, another went out and get that number two spot by two points. Maybe they go six O one get up by one point. That's wild. And now, if you're now, if you're a Vermont you're thinking back to the Wolves Games, a couple of those that you were winning that you just dropped in the third period. And then there's only one, one game against the wolves. You just get one of those pointed changes everything. And the reason that's so key is put it this way, two three, if everything stays as chalk, to the playoffs. Two three is your playoff matchup in the second round. Winner goes to Providence, loser goes home. So we're either all trekking to the den or we're all trucking back up to letty. Guys, come on, here we go. It's over a hundred nine brother twenty five miles, and I think it goes without saying whoever is home as a significant advantage. Oh yeah, but they've both each one games away, like Vermont has one, and I'm sure any members one. Now, if we can make that a showcase game and stid deal. Bitch. You know roll's going to be freaking out a little bit, but it's just this is going to be oh that that to team race is going to be fun. Now it could get ruined totally on Friday when the avalanche play Walpole, because I just called wall pole versus the avalanche on Saturday night honestly, was one of the Best Ehl Games I've called him five years, really darn and I missed it. But that's okay, I was I was busy. It was a playoff atmosphere. Avalanche up one, nothing, expressed tie. Avalanche go up to one, express tie it on a goal that even cody would say was like just throw it on goal. Hopefully something happens. That lane never saw hit two bodies in the way through the tie the game. We go to electric over time, like I don't know how the game did not end over time. Let me go to a shootout. And did I put the screenshot in our group text, the e grew GIP text Britting, and I put in the other one, the screen camp harbor gallow. Yeah, they put it in. Which one of the put it in? I didn't even see it. Did you see it ever? Seeing it now so you remember when Tjo see had that sequence where you just kept going for Team USA in the Olympics? YEA, sure do. Chris went to Barbara Gallo in the third rounds of the shootout. If you score, the game of the game goes on. If you miss, it's over. It will all. Paul wins. The kids scores, game goes on. We go to the sudden death round. Wall Pole scores. Why not send the kid right back out there? He's Oh my gosh, speaking of that, refereed. After the three people have gone, you can recycle. We did not know that. Everyone but Tony I held it down. UNTILD US God had bred victory. Fresh them, fresh them all the officials. Ask Britty, there's your officials trip of the week. Right, okay, get here to Britney. So so Barbara gallow two shots in a row, keeps the game alive. Then gets a chance to win it and Mrs on the Peter Forsbury like one hand move. Yeah, and he says on the way back to the bench to coach for Ella, that was the only move I could try. I was tired. It's like what, uh, that move takes more effort than most whatever. So then wall pole. This is it's like all right, Chris, what are you gonna do now? Send the same kid back out there four times in a row. He scores on that one and wins the game and it's like wow, bananas, like war for four. Well, three, four four. He wasn't sorry. But then Britny, who went twice up in Verma, was it. Ricke it that one twice, rick it one twice and buff went twice. But win hit both the hits right. We get missed once and then rich said go, yeah, I don't know, sorry but I didn't understand that one, but that's fine. It's the one guy that loves it is Jerry Dosh because remember re using also to repeat. Oh he all like two years ago. He went to Tromboy Daved Tromba like five times in Arell. was just kept setting it back out there like go again, going Prince Cycle, repeat, Rinse, recycle, repeat. But it's funny. This is the third time it's happened this year, because we remember John Gabriel from the from the junior flyers, scored three times and one shootout, Barbi Galo three times, one shootout, buffalo and twice, and his if you had the hot hand at that point in the game. I guess why not send the guy back up? Yeah, why not, I would so. Those weren't the only games this week, though. No, we're not. We can't just talk about Rangers, lumberjacks, avalanche, one, two, three right now in the power rankings. We could...

...try down south. There was some shake up. We'll keep going to will keep going down the screen here. Seahawks, wolves, express. That's going to be a fun race to see who gets for, who gets five, who gets six? Currently seven will get the fantasy later. But, Jeff, whenever Brittany picks a goalie and then goes to watch that goalie and he's good, it just doesn't work. I can't where we're I mean just the goalie mind even doesn't work. I first zero points. Mooz just goes quiet. He's like, Nope, sorry, run pretty pick me this week I can't score. Robbie like make like great, nope, not reaking anything this week. I'm out. Yeah, maybe. Oh my goodness, what happened folk? What did I do to you people for Chris, whose smooze calling us in and tell us we're gonna start getting calls in here to the weemers a the Weemer pick. If he doesn't win that game. Oh Man, it's a negative performance. Yep. And and as Justin would say I have a Voodoo doll of the queers. I just actually Justin said you have Vodo doll yourself right, like, oh my goodness, a doll thing is and maybe get bright and I tweeted us. He goes like yeah, revenge, we whoo. And then no sweet anything. Well, you're picking some random guy from the bottom of the roster. You're picking, you know, top echelon, ehl talent guys are top pet points getters. They're just a side to hit the SNIDE. When you pick them, I don't know, it's you'll start run away. They're still they're still in a good spot. Of the wizards. Four straight back of four games, over five hundred too. Yeah, I just said Seahawks, wolves, express, four, five, six. Wizards could sneak up there. I yeah, I don't want to say I don't want to count them out yet they find a way to win out. We'll see where they finish. See Coast still locking down the eight spot. Would while they haven't played as well as of late, Valley's heated up a little bit stern little made some moves and the chiefs are still alive behind them too, but it's I think it's sea coast spot to lose. They kind of could that destiny and then redound. So who made their schedules? God and schedules, smart card like. I would not want that as my last x amount of games that comes to did that. They think it was that as goodbye. President, here goes sea coast. Last week's interview shape Laan against that. We want to play top teams in the end of the year. So okay, we'll say. Here you go. Man. Speaking of top teams, the eighty seven down south going into last week had a chance to lock up and be the first team to clinch their conference. The number one seed didn't go fully the plan. They beat then they said no thank you. They beat the little fires. They lost to revolution, who last week beat rough riders and the sevens, both teams above them. I have no idea what to make the revolution. I don't know, like they've had a strange season. Varies like Topsy Turvy, like you said, winning when Games that you think that they should, then they lose games that you don't think they would. Lose and in this are weird. There's still only two points on a second place, though, so the south is weird in general. Like everyone in this Alice, I'm like those I don't know. They pick when say you up. I think the little fires got hot with a seven game. One has to go one point. Have cooled off lately. Yeah, the Maryland on the interview basically said look at we have wins over the rough riders, a little flyers. The come close with the eighty seven. They've come close to the revolution. They they beat the junior flyers. They feel like they could be anybody come on the playoffs. So it's tough to say, like I think at this point that the team that if we had to say one team and the EHL that we were most confident about making it the providence right now, we would all jersey eighty seven. Well, I'm saying the Holy Ahh, I would rice. I would say the Rangers. I'd say Rangers Yip the hit. It was if we, if we collectively, the three of us, said had to take one team and say all of our money jointly together. That's been bet on this team. Obviously, the ring for New Year, all seven figures in your bank account will take all seven figures of you would say that you're more confident in the eighty sevens than anybody else that over the ring. Really really feel like that, like on I feel like out of yeah, okay, yes, I'm sorry. I feel like every every time. I feel like everyone takes the Rangers, but in this House, where like New Jersey and who knows, I just think Boston's the deepest team. I think they're rich. Has All three three forwards, defenseman, goaltending out of if you have to go...

...like when you was just saying a week pick, all right, put up the eighty sevens broke the rangers. I think that all three of his he's got very deep boards, got four lines that he can roll, three very strong, deep pairings. You get Billy Gerard, the best goalies in the league. So how do I think the New Jersey seven to win the whole thing? No, no, but so the rangers have lost three games since we're turning from the holiday break. One. I thought you meant the year. Well, they've. They've lost three games since we're turning from the holiday break. They've lost three games since November. Whatever. This is an since losing the little flyers at November showcase. They've lost three games. One wasn't overtime, one was an empty netter with the lumberjacks, I believe, six to four, and then one was our shoot up. So when they drop a game, it's not like it's a five. Two got out played completely like they were the better team. Loss. When they drop a game it's like if we had made this one player this or these two plays, you flip that result. It's a win. That's good. That's just the way I look at it right now now and I didn't think it happened in the play of good annalysis and I didn't think it happened in the playoffs. And right now for the for the Rangers. So, as I've said a few times, were recording this Tuesday, dropping it on Thursday. There are three wins away from quinch the number one season their conference. I was a going to ask you that because there yeah, which makes February twenty three against the New Hampshire avalanche very, very interesting. That's clear possible. Clint to day, well, Bick, it's sad pick, but leading up to that they play the Seahawks, railers, wolves and cheets. Okay, so so. So they gotta list time in between. Got They got to win three, three games, right, if we're keeping with this saying being generous. We're not. We're just assuming based off of where teams are at. And they beat the railers and they beat the cheeps, they only have to pick up one more win then against the seahawks and the wolves. They could even pick up an overtime loss, needs which I'm lost for a point, eating that game on the twenty. Three mean absolutely nothing for them now they could mean everything for Chris. I mean everything for Chris. Now. What are you doing and with those two? You know they're both going to be now what do you do? Ridge, Chris? Chris gonna be firing off tweets all yeah, now, you know. You know that if if everything stays as is in the lumberjacks, when every game until then the avalanche whenevery game until then, and and you win every game until then, right are you win all but one? You know that you're not going to face either of them until you get the province right, because they're going to face each other in the two three matchup, if it gets and then it will be one in for they'll be one in for one and whatever number is left. You know that two and three is a lock. The question for riches, what do you want to win the two three series like, because that kind of dictates a little bit how you plan on the twenty three. I abs you want lumberjacks. HMM, putting match up against better. You want to try it in true two time H L champions. Try to throne them. I think he's going to want I would say he's gonna want that. He wants to knock them out. Well, because Adam hooly said, you know, who do I want to face? What not after feel like they get a first round by like right, he doesn't. It's the same two three issue revolution rough fires. All right, push them off to the side. Who would you rather face? Little flyers most likely, or a Maryland? He's like, well, we've struggled a little bit each Maryland. If I would say Maryland, if I was him, and he says Maryland, because Fasco beat me last year. I gotta beat him this year to get there. It looks very screen nights. He beat me last year with Wilkster. I gotta get get there, get through him this year. I feel like we thought last year to it was going to be the eighty serves and then we really yeah, absolutely. When I saw the nights I was like, Huh what? But the big knock off it, Adam, the big key for the nights last years they were they were in almost a playoff mode for like a month going into it because they still had an outside chance of going all the way from three to two. So like they were still trying to battle to get that playoff positioning. So they were playing out every contest, while the eighty seven, I think they I don't have been day in front of me, but they clinched the top. Or they're early, early because they were. Sorry, it was from four to twenty three is, but I'm as I mistaken that one because little fires. Sorry, Mark Catcher on ant one there. So you one hundred, forty whatever games last year. You were the one see the seven. They were high key. The one. The Nice though, the nights for playing things out down the stretch because they had a chance to improve on their playoff positioning and it helped they go play, you know, a top series with the Apple Corps and they didn't have that time off. That's supposed going to be really interesting for Vermont Right, so,...

I mentioned before. They only have four games left. So their last regular season game is February twenty three. Say early, say it works in their favor and they don't play in the first run. They get a first round by. They won't play a game then until the thirteen of March. I know it's completely different. Again, look at if you want to like compared to something like look at the NFL. The NFL always says the by can be a deadly thing, it can be a great thing. Look at the Ravens. Do you think they that anyone thought they were get knocked up by the time they were they had one. How many straight games? They were like twelve straight game, whatever. It was like. You Sit, you wait for a little bit and it's like, Oh, and actually knew I got a good one here. This is for our friend Justin squ Terry. Look at the Tampa bee lightning fall last year. Oh God, they clinched very early in the season last year and they did not play meaningful game for a very, very long time until they at the playoffs. Then they written on twitter all mclumbas blue jackets. And what happened? I got started temmy and and and UN till you put Justin has as. I love you, man. He has stopped listening to the podcast. Love you justin good you know, this Bruin's lightning. It's just a good friendly JEB. And then say it's the same thing that we're saying. It's like you don't want that. You want to buy to rest up, but you don't want it for too long because then these guys just get cold in your just than you want to if you have like injuries. But they don't have anything. Knock on wood. And the wizards really are last year's score. Look at the wizards every their last month there. It's kind of the same as the nights last year of this last month. Every game's they're fighting for their playoff lives, fighting for position and and they had a first round by last year. They won game one five hundred and four over. The lumberjacks lost game two and then people forget Vermont was up one nothing going into third period of game three. Ver Mom was twenty minutes away from province. Oof like, I did not remember that at all. If I forgot that to actually I saw the trivial you call. You were here last were there. We were not present's all right, but it's that's what gets really interesting about this. As I actually called two games that day, of remember, Jef, because I asked you you could, if you could call one, because I finished calling game three of the lumberjacks wizards and I high tailed it up for game one of the Rangers Avalanche series. I think that was at that game and I just skipped the first one anyways. Sure, but what was interesting to get you? What do you have for l one set day? Just Kinda just get it. Probably had a sandwich, but like that. If for wizards, the wizards had a few extra days off before Providence. And what's that's going to be the fun part of all all this. I could, I could copy you in all the scheduling emails. Of You guys want to follow that this party seem, but me and whatnot. The second round has to end this year by March twenty, giving teams the twenty one, twenty two, twenty three and twenty four four days to get ready to start on Wednesday at twenty five. So, like the time off at this time of year is so interesting. And then, like I've had so many coaches to say to me that, like, yeah, we could practice, but like it's just practice. We've already practiced fifty times this year. Like it's not like we had need to work on this one thing. It's kind of a matter of going out and executing at this point. But we'll transition to the premier division now, which is a little bit easier. It's really are easy. A little bit easier for us to talk about because we're recording this Tuesday, launching it Thursday. No Premiere Games in that time. So the top three teams in the premiere who've been the top three teams for ranking one. It's ire weeks. I don't know how long, but between the Rangers, Wolves and railers they've combined to win twenty five straight games. That's insane, like it's like it just and and all that same time, the little flyers have won eight straight. Yep, they beat the eighty seven's right, that lightened twice. All they shot them out. They shut them out and they shut out they want and over time. The avalanche probably the team to be a little bit nervous about right now. Five and five and their last ten, but still in second place. It's interesting. You know, I asked rich earlier, earlier this week you have a chance to win both regular season championships. Do you want it? If there's a curse, in case you don't know, say he said there's a curse. There's a curse with the EHL. One No EHL regular season Champ has ever won the playoff championship. That is not that is not the case, though, with the ehl p. If you're him, don't you want to rewrite the history books, though? It's that's that's what the West like. No, do. It's a badden...

...curse. SELP. He he's won the reguliar season championship two years in a row, one year winning the playoff championship. That was the first year. We were in providence last year losing to the wolves. It's it's while. I don't mean we talked about the unpredictability in the EHL, I mean you look at that conference first in the premiere and you know it's pretty easy to draw the line between the top four teams in the bottom four teams. And I only say that because there's a nineteen point difference between fourth place in fifth place. So you know, look, if if it's not two of the following for Rangers, Avalanche, Wolves, railers, in providence that I think all of us would be very surprised. Questions your surprise. Which of those two do you think it will be? And if I had a guest today, probably Rangers Wolves, but I wouldn't count out the railers either, and the avalanche for most of the year were arguably the best team in the premiere. So that one's tough to say. I think down South it's become clearer in the recent weeks that it's a little flyers eighty sevens probably the clearest picture of any of the four conferences, if you will, right. But then it's but then it's interesting. They don't they're not going to play each other. When they get the province, they're going to cross over. It's top north versus bottom self and vice versa. And I if I had a venture a guess in here. Three of Providence. It'll be the first time you've ever had a interconference championship game. Who because the old prediction in previous years for the premiere. It's obviously we've only met up for the championship game. So one from each conference. That's been cleaned and simple. But in the ehl it was ABS versus revolution. Okay, Cross conference. Then it was as versus Little Flyers Cross conference. I don't know if it's going to be EHL. I don't know if it's going to be EHLP, but I would imagine one of the divisions we're going to have and all north, something, all north. I'll say north, I'll say I'll say north, the south. The SAL teams can come at my throat, but that's okay. Holy is already lined up. I see him, she know alos firing off texts as we speak. I just the way it's playing out for me. I just the Premier Division. I see too to north teams facing up. I don't know about the EHL, but I just I really think that we're destined for a rangers wolves final. Is Mel dreuple are going to put up like twenty five goals in the playoffs. It was what was he going to do? He's a salty fifty whatever right now, like it's funny. Be Oh, I saw the fifties goal. I was there. was in the fleshy. Did did they do anything? It was it just like rich like tried to record it, like rich Legulie was recording for like five minutes and then he just didn't get it and I was like a minute, he shuts it off. Boom. Yeah, they call him Johnny Alphabet. Isn't that funny? Who? I like that, but it's a good thing that Johnny Alphabet does not play in the alphabet league. Yes, right, alphabet suit, because that you called it. No affinite league. That's what ultimate okay, alphabetly, that's what a great I use. That's what sw called it. I was at Bentley last week and I said that to one of my friend, one of my co workers there. I was like, he's like, Oh, what are you doing this we gos like, I'm working for the Alphabet League, is my friend Pritty hard calls it. That is funny. Tis All. I know that you have more fun with with the EHL. So of course right, because I't saying now we're a little over a month from province and it's going to be a lot of fun to watch it. I think after this week coming up, it'll be another week of what really was clinched. There is a chance, though, if the sevens and the Rangers each win three games this week, which they each have the chance to, that they will both lock up the number one seeds in their respective conferences. Agains, something you don't want to do too early, much like with the by it's like then, yeah, Gerard probably sits for a little bit. You put rains Reban for some games, or do you FREEBA? Well, I think that's a fantastic transition, Jeff, because the name that you just mentioned in the first one is one of them. Ye, is one of the fantasy picks this week. So let's go into what to watch for before we wrap things up. Here's what to watch. More this week in the east show and not as many, you know, high end matchup as...

...there were this past week. I mean the lumberjacks Rangers. Those are done for now. Maybe see, maybe we'll see them again in Providence. Time will tell. Oh, I would love that. I need my new friend Laura to be improvidence with the if you don't know, Laura's a photographer Vermont. Yeah, for Laura shoos two pictures for Vermont and she's my new dusty, so I want her. They're so come on, Jack's gonna gether to go out with us in Providence. We we have been replaced. So anyways, think the games coming up this week. I mentioned the Avalanche Express matchup. I'm just watching that because if we go back to a shoot out again, I need to see Cam Barbi Gallo go right back out there in the shoot out, like let's go chriss. That is Friday after that it little flyers Marilynda playoff preview in the EH in the EHL, and those teams are under a hundred twenty five, so they'd go back and forth. Like I said, not as many big time matchups to watch this week in the EHL. As for the EHLP, there's a revolution eighty seven matchup. We can't totally run off the revolution. Yet they could. They could make some noise in the playoffs. You know, any three game series. You drop one of those games, all of a sudden you're still digging out from behind the eight ball. There's a wolves avalanche matchup, so you know, we talked a little bit. I talked a little bit saying Rangers, well, this most likely in Providence, but avalanche are going to have something to say about that as well, will stir Brian. We already got a trivia from Brian Today. That was a good one. Doesn't Ryan Adessa, one of the multiple dessos in the in the League, asked us to name thef for coaches ehl and NHLB P. Come, comeby, we gonna Eat Hil being now. Yeah, HL, Brittany, UCAS teasing. I Love God. I didn't know if we are not calling the eastern Hockey League Brittany. It is our own conference. But there's four coaches combined, ehl and ehl P, who a played in the bean pot and then I love the BEA. It was fun last night. Come on. Three of them are really easy. Okay, not for you. Two of them will be easy for Jeff. Two of them are easy as heck. There ehl coaches in the north right. The two that are obvious. Well, I don't. Rich play at Niagara, so he's out. Yeah, Surella played at Cornipiak. He's out, Timmy huns because he played a. You See. That's okay, good one. That's one. I know we can swear, but I just almost did. She we've gone seven episodes of that one, so maybe maybe you could put the break to sealk. No, we're trying to keep this as this is a child's chill. We encourage children to listen and not going to do that. Another hit and one was Nablone. He played an Michigan or not already dull, Freddy, you want to be you. Okay, Great. Other two are in the north. But are they the other? Yeah, Brian. Who? Brian? Who asked the question? Brian Ades. So, yeah, played at northeastern for a single one year. So okay, and then just still come. And then Jack Lowry, the lumberjacks ehlp coach, played at BC. He is a such a gem. He's such a jam great guy. He's a fellow Maner. So anyone that's from me and has a place in my heart. So I love anyone that's from any time any player touches the puck and he's from made Hook. He's a maybe. Don't worry. Don't worry. He's from me, as I'm wearing he's gonna Paud it as I'm wearing my sea dog sweatshirt that has the state of Maine right here. Yeah, Yep, yeah, we say Gold Black Hawks. Yeah, he's product of Maine. Everyone in the Sand Hampshire by choice. But HMM. anyways, fantasy picks, I don't know if they again, our point totals aren't really finalized because there are a few Wednesday games also, so those will be updated in the graphic let's just go out there and start by saying that Danilo Morose. Screw your Neil for that pick. You See, it is the man. He's get the opposite effect that Brittany has neil picks and they just like Oh, Mr Rabbit, okay, all right, and then like no, no, no, we're going to take a week off here. We're taking off and Britney fix us for taking the League office. Yeah, wrote see you on the bend of this. Let me just go through this. Oh good, no, really do start on. You have to start over, over time. Four goals, three assists, three power play points a game. When I goal twenty two ehl fantasy point.

That's makes me just from Ron Cuke. Yes, it was just morose last week. She's Christ. I know you haven't even like twenty two points in general, let alone from one week. So I was going to trip you and say that you didn't have twenty two points in a week yet, but you did. You had twenty three points one week. So thanks, Mitchell. Hate you rock, but like, let's go. Did I even get any points? What was my final point total? Like legit, like one point, where you still someone tomorrow? Well, they're still there's still a couple guys we don't do. I have tomorrow. I might have grive tomorrow because there's eighty seven supporting eighty seven. So, Oh, come on on, Moose Let. Oh Yeah, you got boose. They go. Yeah, maybe maybe the goose seg will stop your goose. I can more. Maybe Moos can see a hat trick. Maybe gets your three goals, a couple of apples. Could like a five point day and without saying it goes without saying that if you don't score any point can't really catch up. So listen, I'm about to strap the skate time, but I can't say I'd be any better about let see. So let's go over the new picks. Yeah, of course I still need to go first because I'm still in last, but you could talk about how you stole a pick from me. It's fine, okay. So at forward, who was on the podcast? EHL Allstar Becker commit, Tristan mock? Oh, they both committed to Becker. Actually, who was on the podcast? Where was it? anyways, we too, yeah, mock and Neil. Earlier we were talking about our picks and I was sitting in starbucks really confused on who to pick, and then all of a sudden I was like, ohmg, Tris mock and heels like I was going to Pick Ham, but I've stolen Tristan. Mom I'm not sorry at all. Not Sorry. I'm really truly not sorry. So, Tristan Mark, I can't even beg these people anymore. Just just straight up, doesn't she says their name. She's just like, Yep, and I know you just took off of the rest of the week. Reverse it right, say Tristan, I hope you get to the Red Lion. Dump it in every time that way. The reverse of fact, it hits off a stand in the corner, off the back of the goalie in game winning goal. Well, right, games to this and something happens like that, I quit. I'm done. If Britney has like some weird thing where the guy literally just like catches a disease and hits the Blue Line and it's like it's in it catch the corona by rare anyways. Now our health podcast can't yes, very good. So he will be very happy and from yes, Oh, true. All right, so, defenceman, your New Jersey seven's are playing North Carolina. I have picked trevors here, who Adam hoolie sat last series against the golden bears, but that's not going to happen this time. I don't know that, but I'm just gonna guess. Let See, I trevis here, we all sevens. I have no idea. Don't be a moose. Okay, for me, I beg be as you really do. I'm so ruthless. Okay. And then bears played the little flyers tough the other day too. Yes, in gold they've been really for them. They've been really competitive in a second half. I mean it's the scores have been tighter, it's just the wind. Along the wind, losses have not been there. What? But trevise here, go off all right, and not in you to go see her. Yeah. And then in goal I have my boy the you any commit as of yesterday? Well, which won't be yesterday when you hear this, Billy Gerard, really, really, I'm too Eh Al All stars on my team. Yeah, go billy, I have the faith. So I don't know if billy will play against the railers, but I would imagine. I don't know, but if rich wants these wins, I feel like he's gonna toss him in there. Yeah, I mean and actually once rich will clench, like you said, then little rebout will have will go a little rebo that another second, old one. He's young. Yeah, he's a baby. Kind of looks like Tim Thomas, and that too, I remember he came in one game, I think it was. I forget. I think it was against the railers, like many moons ago. And he is he's very like small goalie. But rich is a big fan of it's got high hosts, a little lot van. Often guys can play. You know that Gerard will be in that at least against the wolves on Sunday. Right, let's go, billy, Gerard. Let's get a Sh oh. I can't say that I love the wolves. Yes, I do. We hope that you fire many lots towards the take all her swag. Right, right, right, no, wolves. I encourage you to shoot the Puck as much as you can. I can't say it...

...was pain too. I can'tnot say I want them to find the back of the net, but shoot all you want. Shoot them. Let's rock up sixty shots. I have no idea how they have to be on on Billy's pads, a Brit to, because if they shoot towards the net, hits the post or goes into the glass, and know, also, no shock. That's all. We're hitting the shot button on the live score. Got The shot. You should see yes, in the avalanche, the scratches will just scream shot and this press a million times. Okay, next. WHO's next? Those are my pics. Next, well, it's not neil so, because Neil still in right hers right. Okay, I'm still chasing them. Oh, that's why we didn't get the updated standings yet. Well, I also thank you for both of you for help me out. Tomorrow's my girlfriend's birthday. So, oh my gosh, he's I give talk right now, HBD gurly. So that's what she's gonna come to profit available. Yeah, she was. Actually just asked me when the bank, when the banquet is, and he's a big come hanging up there. Was gonna hang out talk earlier. Will fill you in, Jeff. All right, back to the pics. So back to the pick. So let's see. So in net I'm going with here is nickname around some parts as the Falcon to bias falconstead. Ever, wanted to pick him for the last few weeks and I'm decided to go with it. Deciding to pull it this week. He's still on the top three of goaltenders in the league and it's numbers look good, and hopefully he plays a couple. I think they have express have three games this week. I'm hoping he can play at least two, or maybe at least even always a part one of them with the avalanche. So it does. They get a lot of shots on net, so he'll get you. And No, none of us have gotten a bonus point yet for either a game beating a top five team. Yeah, either game, any goal, again top five team, or beating a top five team. Correct, but remember we're avalanche. have to go six all and one or better. So right, it's gonna be wild. Yep, so Tobias Falconstead was going to is going to be my goaltender at forward. Or actually, no, excuse me, a defense. We start from the back out as Echary, Papa Petros, Petros, come on, say it right, those pepper Petros now, no, APPA Petros, raining, raining defative of the week. It is Papa Petros, though. Yeah, what I like that I've been calling pop is like when I'm calling a game, it's like it's kindly one of those long last names that like, by the time I finish it, Fox are is already off. He's already off the ice. Papa. Well, it's top was like, Popa, has the pot pretty done, very unprofoulled. Does it's fine, yes, Papa, all right. So, Papa, you're a college coach, right. Papa comes out from behind my goal. WHO'S PAPA? WHO'S PAPA? Somebody's Mr Boll call in this game something. This Guy Right off one dad as a pock on their stick. Yeah, what the Hell, pop I go. I Say Papa Pet Ros, Papa Petros, okay, yeah, it's so Zachary. Last week Papa Petros really is one goal in the season, but he's got twenty seven apples, fourteen of those coming on the power plays. So I'm hoping that you get me some power play points. And then, lastly, we're going to go with another wolve. Jack Loran came up for me last week. I'm sticking with the wolves forwards. We're going to do it, Mr Dj no, tough name, Schwenky, DJ Schwenky. Some people think it's swank, but have gotten certified. This schwenky and this is. This is jeff pumping the wolves tires right and droll. I oh I need to make Andrews Graphics for this week. Thank you for my reminder. Where's my swag? And Want my swag. That's actually so good. A Sander and Tim a text but yeah, so we're going to go with DJ Schwenky to wrap it off and we get the updated standings tomorrow to see how far behind meal I am in first place. But now to Mr first place for his picks, and you'll rev thank you for the warm introduction and chaff. I really appreciate that. Will start from the back end like you did, and I'm going to take advantage of the points that Brittany did not get for Dylan Leemer and get them myself this week. That will cut these were doing urns. He's like, Oh, pretty, last week, no, feels got. This week it comes. No, I have a big dylan weemer fan to I was upset and he's just not a fan of you, I guess, for if he comes back, is lost for his if he comes back with a shoutout victory. Oh, I I am gonna burn the Edge Board Center to the WOW. Oh, that's some premeditated stuff. All right, we'll call me Bedford police now and just let them know. Wow, ill better police, Bedford fire charge for arson. Bring you in. Why did you do it? Fantasy hockey. You guys have any proof? Yeah, would you listen to our pod real quick. We can show the proof. We're gonna go and doing. Weemer wizards play, I think, just the chiefs this week. That's why I stayed away from any. I was going to pick chance Gorman or saving maybe for one of the weeks. Will later, but as many...

...games as there were last week, there's a bunch of teams that have just one game. One Game Avalanche to that's I was looking at some avs and couldn't do that either. But then you'll Britty said this with the eighty sevens, that yeah, they play in North Carolina. They had multiple games. But like, who's gonna play you? Right, you pick a kid and again it goes without saying if they are not in the game, they can't really get you any points. No, right, Adam, if you sit Trevorsia, we're going to have a lot of the shoes have words. We're gonna have words. Word that a go on the horn. So by picking Dylan, it does break my streak. I had gone nine picks, nine different teams. My two other picks, though, are from new team. So all of my twelve picks so far, eleven, will leven different teams. I will take credit from that, for that's the style points, peeps. I'M gonna go with Mitchell hate. Now, if weemer gets more than the three point eight that he got for Brittany that one week, and if hate gets more than the serious field me she got me, I feel pretty's old scraps. We're gonna try awesome, if he'll. Mitchie got me a few. I wait, we're not gonna cry. So, yeah, you did pretty well. Yeah, and we'll see if that one happens. And then they'll the final twist, if you will. Yeah, here comes cody Rumsey, team Marilyn, because I couldn't take Christ and Bock. Well, another man the last time. But the little flyers played Marilyn. That's their first matchup of the week. Oh, condy Rumsey got fo w a goal and for asss I eat forrard of the week or cody, please don't do me like that. And you neel to come down a couple. I know I needed cody Rum d sit on the bench dress and marks from out every shift they might go on the same life. Maybe they'll do that. Maybe marking like no, cody, say the bitch. That's what their jerseys no, you go, Oh, you guys, the coach. I gotta get fantasy points. That last game, though, was that nine to six, three field goals to two field goals game? Oh Holy Heck. Yeah, so we'll see. I mean, Hey, it's hey. With with fantasy it's it's unpredictable. It is. Yeah, I think I can tell me and my boodoo dolls will tell you. Neil's got like the high and bloom formulas and is office or something. Numbers pay these kids off. Scandal. Oh my Gosh, M Fay, sport, safe sport. No, he's like Cald wasn't. Didn't have a big week for me. Yeah, you've had some couple that have missed, but they the majority. You fit the first two starts for JP mell up. He has a one more star left in that fantasy week. He did not win either game. He gave up six goals, but when you make seventy two saves it's a point. Four points already right there. So let's went into my Falcon Steppi because I saw some scary opponents and I was like yeah, but he could get seaves which we can't sl out, and then he's a very good goaltender. So if they do give me the wind, that I get the extra so I'm taking a risk. Yeah, like I was gonna pick grife, but he's literally not playing, so we're definitely not going to pick him. I've seen their play tomorrow. Yeah, I've seen some goalies make safe from the bench, but those ones also don't count. So right, unfortunately. I remember that time when lane got pulled and you picked him and he's like, ad that safe, when you let caught a butter something that cut out my saves. He was in the belly box. That caught one them out. Love was like point to point, give it to me, give it to me, style points because he was in the penalty box. Plus Four. I love watching the backup snag pucks like that. They do too there like Oh, no big deal. I learned something very new with Matt Wayne this past week. To in that wall pole versus express game. I guarantee. I already know this fact, but go pretty knows everything. Showy, even keep going, Jeff, no, do I'll do it an next week. So throw your throw your mic like should the end of at the end of overtime. Walpole had a chance and the clock was running out in lane because I'm the play the pocket. He shoots it over the glass. So in junior hockey at the pack goes over the glass out of your own zone, like not the bench, obviously, but if it's the goalie doing it, it's a delay of game penalty. Oh my gosh, if it's a player doing it, it's not the lay a game that they can't make a line change. But what's interesting it's he does this with one point, two seconds left. So I'm like, if you go back to watch my broadcast, I'm like having a brain for I'm like like I don't know what's going on. Like laying can't go in the box. So archambo goes in the box. But if archambos in the box and we go to a shootout, can he shoot? I don't know because if the goal is penalty, turns out he can because it's not his penalty. But then cody calls time out. He Pulls Falk and staff for the extra attacker. So now a three on three game...

...is now five on three. So they just sell off the face off. Everyone's body is going everywhere trying to get one more shot on goal and eventually went to a shootout. But this is like it was weird. It was what. Okay, I take it back. I did not know this fact as I was en route to Letty Park arena. So h right, Neil, you got me with one fact. I'm sure I'll have seven more for you. But I don't know whose model was next to me. Listen to the broadcast, but she lives. Getting closer as the game was ending, because I was like explaining the rules of the shootout and to love that, I love them. I get I turned the my God, it's you guys. I know I was getting like really close to you, but like I was just trying to figure out what was going on. My God, I wish I know who it was if I see. That's the thing. If I was at the dead I am president of the mom club at the ice done arena. I am friends with all the mom so I would have had that one for at least. The moms are our big fans. Of they are. What can I say? I'm just charmer. Add that cree add that to your to your resume. Good with the MOMBS, president of the MOM club. Good with the ball. Is very good. So are we? Are we good for next Wednesday? The usual recording time? Jeff, what is the usual recording time? Actually, this is the usual, usual Wednesday, because we because the week after. You'll have to do me a favorite. Probably my birthdays in there somewhere. So, oh, what is your birthday, Neal and twenty five? Oh, that's the Tuesday. Okay, birth is on Tuesday, next Wednesday. Chris told me that Britney should make a birthday graphic that embarrasses the hell out of me and put that on the EHL instagram. Oh, I have the log in, so that's great. Yeah, good job. Do you have any material we can talk? I could. I don't think I haven't. I don't have anything. That's why they make facebook and that's why Neil has all of his facebook from college on it still. So I'm hot. Plenty of fun time. Here it comes, Neil. The answer your question. I got three Games next Wednesdays. We went up to chat one three games. How do you even do that? It is I'm proponishment.
