On this week's episode, we kick things off with an interview featuring Keith the coin, one of the newest inductees into the Ahl Hall of fame. In the weekly run down, the ecrew debates over what changes can and cannot be made the ehl and EH L P powerankings further along in a fantasy challenge. I discussed the first hat trick earned this season and we pause for an interview with Shahn Walsh from southern New Hampshire University. Finally, we wrap things up by higling a handful of games to watch at this week's showcase joy now by Keith the coin, the assistant coach for the railers junior hockey club. Has It going, Keith? Good are here. Thanks for having me. Good and thanks for coming on and exciting time for you. Recently named to the Ashell Hall of fame. Where were you when you found out the news? I was actually on a golf course, man on a golf tournament where I love the Vie. So has the stop playing for like five to ten minutes for the phone call. But yeah, great phone call to have and you know it really expected, to be honest, but it's pretty cool. I was going to ask that question next. Did you expect there or when you took a step back when you gotta not surprised when everybody told was telling me that you know you'd be a hall of fame eventually, just kid of my Dat's, but I didn't think I would be this quick after me retirement from hockey. I would take a little bit more time. So it was a little bit cough, caught up guard by the phone call originally. But but I said, it's one of those calls. I'll never forget that call. I mean when you get inducted to a hall of fame, Whatever League it is, don't matter. You've done something right. So it's a really cool I get that phone call and what's the first phone call you made afterwards? I called my wife right away let her and then I called my parents let them know. I'm not big into personal accomplishment, so I didn't really tell many people. You know, I told the close of people. Anybody and tell me bay with the railers or Rangers or anybody really. So, but I made sure I told my close people that so they didn't find out online or whenever whatever came out public. Yeah, but then we're started this friend. It spreading. You got the the cake at the end of practice there with the railers. What was that moment like for you? Yeah, they got me good. I thought a cake and I like, all right, the cakes in front of me. There's no way, you know. So I got I got them. They caught them with what they're trying to do and they played a Lolli had that. They had two cakes, so they got me pretty go to that one. It tasted good. Now the calories that I need at this point. But they played that pretty cool and they got a great group of kids there that you know, work out every day and they're very close group, so it's good to be far that and you know, for them to do what they did kind of make kind of a special day for me was pretty cool. Yeah, and again, to know you over the past few years, you obviously one of the biggest things that stands out for me is just how much you love the players and I think what's unique is you kind of followed the same path that they're trying to go on and your path led to division three at Norwich. Was Norhi's always a school that you had thought of? No, not really. I mean originally wanted to play division one, just like everybody else, you know. So you know, that was kind of my mindset and then toward my senior year in high school I really wasn't getting any looks at Division One. So I had a kind of turn to page and my high school coach went to Norwich and had a little bit of a, you know, a relationship with their Norwich coach, so he gave them a call and you know, they came and watched me. In the first game they came to I played the worst game I played in for you ice hockey. So you know, they had to come back again and watch again and I had a really good game and they really like me. So it's kind of how that that all started. But you know, once I read about Nowich and they were getting a brand new drink and they're you know, they're one of those programs that was kind of up and kind of growing and the rink that they were building was going to be a state of the yard, you know, it in one rink. So it was kind of no brain for me to go there and develop and it worked out for the best. Did you ever envision having the career that you had at Norwich? I did not, I really didn't. You know, you don't really know what to expect. You know, I put high school hockey and then you're going to college and you know, my freshman class, they're all twenty one year olds freshman. So I was people twenty one year old. So you know, it took a little bit of time to learn and you know, I had to get bigger, I had to get stronger, just...

...like anything else. And you know, once I got got to the pace list of division three game and you know, I got bigger and stronger. Kind of developed at two years when along so I didn't expect to do as well I did there. You know, you just want to go there, have fun, play college and get better, and you know I was able to do that. And how quickly after your time at Norwich did you realize, like I have a chance to really go play, play pro here? Yeah, I mean I think my senior year when I started talking my coach about it and you know he was going to help me out and you know, originally I just wanted to I would have done anything, but it was the East Coast League. Anything just to get started and lucky up. You know, my coach at course machine and Nowich new what guy the name of Tom Rowe, who was a general manager with the low lock monsters, and that's kind of how that all started. They got me a try out in a two way contract and actually my first training camp with the low lock MOMS with my first exhibition game with against Manchester Monochs, and that was the first time that I was like, you know, I can play at this level full time as on get the opportunity and you know I was able to advantage that opportunity. Was it cool that you kind of had returned home to play your first get your first pro gig. Yeah, it was really good. Actually, you know, I got I lived at home, so I don't penny rent when I was there. That's all the plus when you're not making that much money. But yeah, that was a great experience for a play at home and you know, my parents were every game, all my friends around the area where here a lot and you know, just family. Live in a Walton, which is empire either. So I a lot of people every night and so made a lot of fun the BEA a plan front of them the way were able to do. And then, as your pro career kind of unfolded, there were two real stops along the way that I think set out for me. The first obviously your time and Hersey, which is where you we're probably the the hall of fame credit came from. What was it like just playing for a community like that that's just so in love with that team? Yeah, it was. It was crazy when I first play that. I mean I played there as a visitor, but I never really realized what it was like to play there and how the support that they had. I mean you're pretty much playing an hl city, but it's a your tree, like an Hlor. I mean you go to the supermarcrohooch up and you're getting you know, you signed an autographs at the supermarket. So at the very close small community, so everybody knows who you are and you get you sell out Eleven Tho twelve other people every night. So yeah, you know, that's a place that, if you're going to be in that lead, it's one of the places that you really want to play because you have a it's a great market, you're playing a sold out band every night. You're a great opportunity to win the championship. Yeah, usually when you're there. So yeah, it was great. You know, we had, you know, I was there for pretty much three and a half years and you know, we first two Yars, we want to call the cup, and we had, I mean those two teams, we had John Carlson, Carl alls, and there Matthew Perrot, Braden holeby. So we had a lot of guys I would are really young that were, you know, eventually now they've been the NHL for quite some time. So we were loaded. So it was a lot of fun to be part of. was that probably, looking back on your career, the biggest, the best highlight winning it called her cup. Well, I mean I was. I was with the Kale and hurricanes when they want the Steley Cups. So the black as with them. So I was able to, you know, travel with the team during that experience and I got a Stanley Cup ring. And okay, I like cup. So I mean it's hard to take that away. Any NHL experience. It's, you know, probably top of the list. You know, my first NHL goals against Martin Brod or so those are the two top ones for me. But you know, in the HL level, obviously those those four years, you know, the prime time for me where I had most success in my career. And so yeah, they said it was. Did you get a day with the cup? Also, I did not. I think. Yeah, the play I think the rules you had to play in the final. Oh what, playing the fly of the playoffs to do that. So okay, I tried to. I try to sign up with but you got a ring. You got a ring, run a ring that gave my parents, so they have that. It's cool to have. And then looking at that at the NHL time. You just mentioned some of the names that you played with. When they're in her she and obviously some of those guys moved up and we're in Washington, when you played in Washington. But if there's any name that really stands out that you played with, it was Alex Sovetskin. One looking back, do you have to kind of pinch yourself when you say that you played with that guy? Yeah, I mean I was lucky have to play with a lot of really good players. I mean I wish I vesta was probably play. The top, you know, is my breaking Retski's goal record. Yeah, the bell. Tell your kids you know I played. You know I play with Alex and you know, two years ago I show I'm a tax asking because send New Jersey signed from my kids for Christmas. He did that for me. So it was a great player but also a good guy as well. But you know, I was lucky if we were Jonathan tolars for a year, a third stall and Carolina Rod Brindamore was playing. That's a whold. I am. So you know,...

...when I was in Carolina I got you know, you know big Bruins fan growing up. You know, Glen Wesley was in Carolina at that time, so I got to meet him play with him, which was pretty cool to actually play with a bruin that you watch growing up. So yeah, you know, it's really lucky to play with a lot of really good players and you know obviously a probably vetchan was probably the top of the list. And then time transpires and you end up in coaching. Was this always kind of your plan? Once, once the career ended, I really didn't know what I knew. I wanted to stay in the game. I didn't really know what I wanted to do. So I was kind of just kind of played by year. How it worked out. The biggest thing from me is I didn't want to move my family around anymore. They did it so long, so I wanted them to stay home. So wherever I did, I wanted to stay local. And then obviously no one. You know, coach Di Caprio with the Rangers. At opportunity came boat and that was a great opportunity to get my feet where a coach and I give it a try and worked out really good. I really enjoyed it. It's obviously a lot different being on the other side. Being a player for so long and and you understand why you pissed off so many coaches going up. You know, whether it's detail, stopping on parks, you know, whatever it is. So it's definitely different. o with a learning experience that I got to do, or the first two years of coaching and how to, how to, you know, treat different situations as a coach consider to being a player. So yeah, I mean, I wanted to say in the game, but, you know, coaching came first and it's been a good experience so far. As going to say, because we touched on this earlier, because you kind of call allow that same path that these players want to and and head towards the vision three as a coach now or there are times when you realize that you have to kind of pace your expectations and help develop players and more of a gradual process. Yeah, it is a process. I mean, you know, each coach expects differently. So again, kids that come with other from other coaches and what they expect, you know. So it takes time to get a player to understand what you expect from them, you know, day in and day out. And think that was a tough thing for me, is get my players to play the way I expected on the play. And I think, you know, if they play the way I expect, I think that will help them at the next level because I think I feel like I know what it takes to get to that next level, what coaches expect, you know, when you get to college or when you get the pro if they may get that Bar, I know what they expect. So I think if I can get that into them at, you know, at this age level where we are at, hopefully they can translate that as they move forward. Is there since you've had experience at both the EHL and EHLP levels, you were, of course, I head coach in the EHLP. You spent most of the time as an assistant at the EHL. Not to put you too much on the spot, but is there is there one level you prefer more? Do you like them both? To be all I like them both. I mean, you know, I kind of you know, hlp's kind of the minor league the Ehl, you know, and so like you're trying to get those guys to develop and get to that ehl level and then they go from college from there and most of the time they're in the EHLP premire because they need to develop, they need certain things to get better at, whether it's getting quicker again, stronger or, you know, just a little things in the game that's going to make them better, something that you need, the Year of development, of playing a defensive zone, whatever it is that's going to take you and make you make that step to the next level. So I enjoy both. Like I said, I think you're helping each player get to the whether Ehl, to college or Hlp the EHL, you're helping them all one way or the other, and I think that's the best part of coaching is being to help these kids get to that night next level. So either either one is good for me. Like I said, you're helping kids either way. So that's what I enjoy doing and it had a taste of a victory also at the ehl level with the Rangers last year, being assistant coach there, and now you're over with the railers, who have a team that's look at. There are contender at both levels. How sweet would it be to help them when a championship was you in your mind, look at it as kind of like going back to back. It's definitely back to back we got. Yeah, I mean I was a great experience last year with the Rangers to do that. You know, it's not easy when a championships. You need you need to eat all the whole team going at the same time. You had a lot of good breaks and hot goaltender and you know, I think we had all that in. A lot of props all the players. They put a lot of effort a lot of time last year, you know, with the pandemic and and all that. So a lot of credic over them. But with the Rangers at the rails this year, we have a great group of kids that work out every day and we've had a great start so far. You know, hope I can help out my experiences a get them to what it takes to win a championship. That I feel like I have that so but we're you know, it's the right step so far with the railers this year and hopefully going and maybe we'll play the Rangers in the finals. That would be pretty specialist, pretty for sure. I'm bragging rights there. Yeah, for sure. Well, I appreciate you coming on. I can grass again. I'm being named to the age Shell Hall of fame. It's a huge honor and and you most definitely deserve it. Thanks, Neil. Appreciate it. What's up, guys?...

Guess what we have this weekend? Showcase it feels like every other weekend as a showcase. I love it. I'm not complaining. Any complaints. I see none. Well, it's like the it's like the song from smash mouth. Hey, now you're an all star. They don't stop coming and they don't stop coming. That's that's pretty much the theme this season. Just when you thinks about to do there ocase's got another one coming up. Back to Massachusetts we go. Just need to all learn to start chugging some caffeine at the first day. Just get through it. Anthony, we should track your miles for the year, but this where is Anthony? Just where is Walden? Up? Down, up, down, up, down, up, down the entire year. It's so you can move up to the north if you want it. Come on up, buddy, come into the north country. I also have some really great fantasy news. Do you guys want it now or do you got to wait? We get to fantasy every week. It's not really great. I stay tuned for the show podcast where Neil get to talk about this great fantasy news. It's this. I can tell you right now or I can tell you later. No, you gotta keep you gotta keep the listeners engaged. Neil, you have to keep this isspense going. Okay, they said. That is what they call it. Broadcast Tease. Yes, and with that teas will jump into the wee can rundown. It's time for the e cruise weekly run down. Easy Week we run down is brought to you by the junior hockey podcast, your home for junior hockey news, knowledge and nonsense. Check them out of tjh podcastcom. And, as we do each week on the weekly rundown, we reset the power rankings. But as we don't often do, we're going to start with the EH L P this week because I think that we've talked about them a little bit, but not enough, and that's the railers junior hockey club and what they're doing right now in the peak, like it's simply out of this world, like the running away with that league and and they're quote unquote, in second place. But when the games played balanced out, it's not. It's going to be, it's going to make sense. They literally are on another shutout streak. They haven't given up a goal since the walpole showcase. Still single digits set goals against, like, I'm stupid. This is out of this world. Yeah, that is. That is unbelievable. But I mean, did you expect anything? Last one, the worster roils are coming into this organization. Deal. The adess a family long lineage of hockey. I think they know what they're doing through. How many of tesses are there now? And I actually was just talking to my father, but the adess is. He knew one of the ADESS is growing up. The other day we're talking about I think it was Mike. But did you expect anything less? I knew they were going to come in here and eventually, then, what is this year? Three now for the railers. This is your three. You're three right. Yeah, covid heat makes it feel like they've been in the League for ten years. Yes, I had Mike Adath of the GM, the father saved in my phone as Mike Adess of the first and I was corrected and told that he's actually the second. Fells like that second. I was like, hold on, hold on, I did. I need to get back to my tree and just keep adding another branched up because there's so many of them. But they've they've put together. That's my dad. I was like which one? One, two, three, which which one could test it's not specific. They're nine in one. Their last three games they've won by scores of for nothing, bought nothing and six nothing. So, if we're talking about symmetry, next goal next game should be seven nothing. Right, just follow the pattern. Yeah, he's you go, but you got to give him credit to because some of these teams rely very heavily on one goalie, but they're relying on their goalie ten of as a hold with Lapierre and wikins. It's insane for them, and I'm so glad that you brought that up, because they've been like splitting them halfway through the game. You look at like three of their past four box scores. They get to thirty minutes in and they're like, all right, switch, it's not a showcase. It's not. You have the two hundred and twenty five where you do that. It's so they're like three S. they're just like, nope, switch, here's the for nothing game against the the Rangers, and one goalie played thirty one, hundred and twenty seven. The other goalie played twenty eight, thirty three. I'm sure if there was a whistle closer to the thirty minute mark, they would have they would have switched. He but it's like yeah, like they're literally switching these guys halfway through and I know, no, you go, Antony. Okay. What I also find impressive about the railers is that the goal scoring looks pretty even out. So they have thirty seven goals in ten games. So that's basic, Matt three point seven goals per game. So the offense looks pretty good. They only have one player who has ten points on the dot and the rest are pretty even. Now you have Charles Lavoy loss in macalire Pacho. These guys are ten points, eight points, eight point seven, so it's very evenly spread out. This is a team that scores by committee, so they're a team that's it doesn't really have too many weaknesses. I mean I think that they just came out with the mission after they lost of the Sevens and that championship game and they just bolstered up their weaknesses and they're just dominating right now. I...

...think that's a good point out that. I think they use last year's frons and finals appearance as a momentum boost and they took that into this year and, like you said, they loaded up and our buddy jade blackburn he's missed a few games because he got injured, but he's got five points in seven games. So what are their scores like if he was able to play? Those are three games. He's got four goals and assists. That could can put a lot of punks in that and he's quite the diminutive forward, if you will too. He's not a big dude, but he puts a lot of pucks in the net and he's a damn good player and that's a damn good team. And the H I know we're going to get to the HL later, but they're EHL teams kind of doing the same thing. Klonox played seven games. Now moluski's played for so some kind of organizational decision to kind of go with two goalies. I like it. It's different hockey's chain. I wonder why they don't use Justin's favorite Hashtag, which is Hashtag revenge tour M but we bring them up, but they see revenge thly. I think. I think they're just on such a mission. They're they're nine in one. They have a New Jersey weekend coming up. They're facing the renegades and the eighty sevens in the showcase. They obviously stay at number one. They want two games by a combined score eleven. Nothing. They stay in someone. We're actually recording this to day that we dropped the podcast this week. We all have busy schedules so we have to kind of record it on a Thursday. So the numbers to right. Team from last week is actually currently playing while we record this podcast. Lumberjacts are currently playing the avalanche. But the lumberjacks actually just drop both of their games to the seahawks the past two days, so they probably have to fall out of number two, even though both games were one goal contest. The seahawks of the first place team. And that East division. We talk so much about the East division in the EHL, the East division and the EHLP maybe more competitive. They're wagging. Yeah, records was absolutely I mean you have two teams. The railers are about to be a double digit win team, seahawks ten for one, Rangers at eight and six, and we've said before to the Rangers at eight and six they're a better P team than that record shows with their deep history in the last bunch of years. So yeah, the yeast he might be a little better than the ehl east. So as I mentioned before, the seahawks one both their games against the lumberjacks. So they want both, two, three matchups. I think it's pretty safe to say railers or one, seahawks or two. Then from there we just have to kind of figure things out again, as we do every week. You move teams out, move teams in. I think Vermont, whether they win today's game against the avalanche or not, I do think they have to fall out with their two losses. But the question is, who do you move in from the there? You don't think so. No, okay, let's hear why. Well, I mean yeah, they did like loose to the seahawks but, like you said, there were one goal like losses, so I don't see that as that bad. And when you look at a team like the chiefs and you bring them into the mix, they split their weekend with one win and one loss, and I don't think that's enough to really pass the lumbies. And I don't think that the lumbies losing to the seahawks is enough to really like Bros. I'm that far because, like you said, it's one goal contest like. That's not a huge loss. That's still pretty competitive loss. So I don't think they should fall out. Do they fall to three? Order they fall to for I would think they've followed three and I think you should put I think we should bring the chiefs up to four, because I think the chiefs are starting to look pretty solid, despite splitting the weekend. I think they still look pretty solid, but not solid enough yet to pass the lumberjacks. Okay, so that lot of five and five teams. That just makes one swist them. That just wentches two and three. Yeah, we would it. Last week was railers, lumberjacks, seahawks chiefs. That would make this week railers, seahawks, lumberjacks chiefs. Be Fine with that, Anthony. You were HMM world chewing on it all. It's good and bring team discuss a team that's been in for a while. That, I'm sure, what wants to get back in its valley. But valley split their weekend. They lost by nothing to the railers, which they are the railers, and they actually sorry. They won two of three. They beat the wolves on Thursday for two one, they lost the railers find nothing on Friday and they beat the little flyers two to one on Saturday. So maybe they're receiving votes. I mean they have themselves. They have a game of the Rangers coming up this weekend in a game with the lumberjacks, so that game with the lumberjacks could be their chance to get back in. I love to see after they are they going to they're going to play at the shoecase? Yes,...

...yeah, so, yeah, I'm saying after them. I'm not sure who else, to Lawrence Point, has an argument to get in. Right. It's a lot of teams. I know we haven't played a ton of games when you look at like the last ten, but a lot of teams that are are around five and five in the last ten. Rangers is seven and three, though. I mean they're eating six, but they're one of the hotter teams as of late. So they started out poorly and they've kind of rattled off a bunch of victories. But, like you're saying, nel today deserve to vault into the top five power rings right now. M mean the Rangers and the warriors each have a shutout loss in the past week and a half to the railers. It's just what the railers are doing, like it's insane. They're shutting out top teams yeah, so I'm good with railers, seahawks, lumberjacks, chiefs and then receiving votes warriors and Rangers. I don't no receiving votes. I don't think we're receiving both. Okay, there's no. I don't feel like there's. I think to like super exciting right now to be thrown boats at. I'm in cavers. Okay, we're sitting. You're saying that, like they lost to the like they lost to the railers, like you want to throw them boats because they lost to the railers. Like. I don't think that really makes much sense. Okay, you would just arguing to keep the Lumberjackson even though they lost games. Yes, because I don't think their losses were bad enough to constitute completely dropping them out. They are only one goal contest. They weren't just sitting there twiddling their thumbs and having like getting shut out both times. They only lost by one will each controversy. This is what makes podcast fun. Discussion or being barging over the votes. Now they'll love this. Not the first to get to the AHL. It's a later you know what will add fuel? Well, we'll go, we'll put no receiving votes and for those teams that want to receive votes are getting to the top, top four. Show us at the showcase this weekend. Railers seem higher league. Headquarters in Hampstea New Hampshire call. Don't come that, don't come to my house. railers. See Hot lumber, chat say where that was. What they're just going to start driving the streets to hampstead. Will fight them eventually really see up there. You end up at the Akets and golf club and for you will man, railers, seahawks, lumberjacks, chiefs. There's your final answer for the EHLP. Moving to the EH show you, Alex Beut, what the railers are doing in the EHLP. It's kind of similar to what the Rangers are doing in the EHL. The Rangers lost on the first day of October and then one every other game they had in October. Yes, I don't think we're moving them out of one, are we? No, I or not, and and I that's seven likes the power rankings. They are like will stay here. When when surses start to go on these winning streaks like this, it makes you have to like go look at the record books just to kind of see what's going on and like where they would be at. Obviously nine doesn't crack their way in, but they're slowly getting. You know, the winning streak records that we have. The record will never be touched. That was thirty games in the two thousand and sixteen seventeen season. So the next layer's year. That was a little flyers year. We lost two games and wrong. They were an absolute wagon and and honestly the junior flyers were. They had some crazy streak in there as well. I think they had a seventeen game point streak or something like that. S team they lost to in the finals after that. The for next winning streaks are seventeen, sixteen, fifteen fourteen. Now it's not going to be easy for the Rangers both they're kind of at that third quarter of reaching that Mark Right, like a good two weeks here and they're there. But obviously you look at the Games that they've played, there's some close contest in there as well. So trying to get to their showcase schedule coming up this weekend. I know they have the railers. They got protect Sunday. So they have protect who were starting to play better, the railers who we had at number two. So there's been games in there that they've come close to losing. Speaking of the railers, they had that shootout win against them last Tuesday. From back to Neil I actually had was on the call for one of their two losses this year, which was at a showcase to the hands of the Philadelphia little flyers. Three, two, one. It was the morning the first game, so I was the October first game. So those thingcase games are different. Yeah, those stay at one. They they have the ducks and railers this weekend. If they get through that weekend unscathed, a huge home and home the weekend of the twelve and thirteen against the second place team in the East division, the East Coast Wizards. That could be pretty big. So they stay at one and then it's kind of what do we want to do from here? Because the railers, how about the two games that they had coming out of the break, out of the All star break? They face the Rangers first and then they face the avalanche second and both games went to a shootout. And they want they lost the Rangers, they beat the avalanche. I think they stay...

...at two. Yeah, I think so, because the avalanche have been one of the hottest ehl teams right now. They are quick on all cylinders or Sony hotch kiss running Mobley looks really good. So yeah, that's that's a huge win, especially five for two to be able to put that many goals past, or for the railers to be able to score that many goals, that's that's a big thing. So yeah, it's I'd say that's a good spot for them right now. And I called that game. That was all my third game called. That was the two sets top plays Galore. Dude. The two goals that the railers scored in the shootout were disgusting. Like the first was Damon Du Lac and then the second was Demisculla Mike like they were dying, like both are on the back in. The first was, I think he likes stopped and I kept his feet moving. In the second was through the five hole. Of course, lacks call in the top plays. It looks really good. Yes, well done, Lauren will Um. When the avalanche, like the P team, look how deep they are always we're just talking about in the group chat the other day mcclashings, another guy that a lot of us like that made make his way unto a fantasy roster soon. Everyone's always talked about in a Stasi and mental those guys. But yeah, they get some other forwards and D tyl drummonds start to show up a little bit. He was a big defenseman for them last year. So that rolers e deep like the rollers pe. So Rangers won railers too. And this is where I got to bring Anthony Back in here for a second, because this is where I say to start getting interesting, because we we had Marilyn at three and I do think Marilyn has a good hockey team. How good I don't know yet. And I understand that the parody that we've seen in this league has been just fluent throughout. But we've talked about Maryland's wins against teams like the eighty sevens. Anthony, you're being the sevens guy. Do you know that the sevens have more losses this season then they had all of last year? Yep. Is it time to hit the panic button? Boo? I don't think so. I don't think so, because that I do think they're playing good hockey. They only had one really bad loss. That was the one loss against the little flyers, HMM, and most of the other losses they're out shooting teams they're they're out playing teams for a good portion of these games. They're just not putting the puck in the net. So maybe it's just trying to find another goal scorer that they picked up Matt and Asazzio recently and he played two games so far. For then he's look pretty good offensively. Just needs to put the puck in the net. But no, I don't know if they shit the panic button. I bring it up because what took place in the South this past week and with Marilyn at three, like it's just I can't have my head around it. Like Marilyn goes and splits the series with Protech but then beats the little flyers who, for lack of a better term, smack the eighty seven s their worse loss of the year on Friday, and then the docks beat the sevens on Saturday. I think it's what it was. I'm like our two, wow, I'm really off right now my dates. I was up by you real. I think it's two thousand and twenty two right, okay, anyways, but it's just so tight, like Maryland's thirteen and four. Are they? Are they the third best team in the League right now? I don't know. I don't know either because, like we've said, like we've gone into like they're kind of a they're one of our favorite teams on the WHO are they segment this year, and not that the WHO are they segment is a good thing or a bad thing right. It's just kind of like, who are you? Because in your four losses you haven't looked very great and some of those thirteen wins have been suspect to and, like we've said, with the balancing of the divisions and whatnot, to the eighty sevens are trying to figure themselves out. Team Maryland is so like the entire division and luckily we're playing teams that aren't just in our division this year. Thank God. Imagine if we were back to the covid schedule like last year. We're just having those four teams play just those four teams. But they don't. They have six wins in games that are decided by two goals or less. Do we give them the credit for winning those games or is there is there discredit for how close they've been to maybe losing some of those games? I think we can't really drop them necessarily. Like I think, I don't know. I think they're struggling a little bit, but like I think there is some form of consistency there. But like, okay, it's like when you talk about due they did lose to the ducks, but they beat them the next day, but then beat the little flyers, but they didn't really beat them that much because it was only a three to one win, and that's their goals in empty net. So like that was actually pretty tight game when you really look at it. So it's like it's good to be barely. They barely...

...won the two games that they did that week. We were and weren't you just saying, well, yeah, the boss and junior rangers have that winning streak, but I hang on your some of the some of their games run into overtime. We shootout it. But by now, and it's the South Division, almost sudden you're looking at the wings like, Oh, wait a minute, will ferrelld didn't score a hat trick in this game. Maybe merrily shouldn't go up to the top three, like come on, neal, okay, fall but like I don't think they need bupp either. I think they're just they stay right after you. Yeah, yeah, I don't think they did enough to really move up, but then I don't think they did enough, like I don't think enough happened to them for them to really fall. Okay, that's fair. I guess what I'm Sir Urching for, Anthony, is that one real big bold statement victory. And maybe they've already got that and and I'm discrediting someone somewhere, but what they'll the game that still stands out to me. Farrell den didn't even play in that game when they lost the Rangers for nothing in the showcase. I'm just maybe it's me searching for that big bold statement victory, which think carold in is team Maryland. You know, I'm not even win without a player like that. But that game stands out to me. They shut out by the Rangers like like well, it's an actually I think tyler was the one that called that to and he even said he was like I was expecting a little more from both sides and it was kind of just a I don't know if you want to say boring three nothing when for the Rangers, but kind of to that degree. We thought that game had a little more moved to it. I guess it just didn't. So, I mean they play Wallpole this weekend and Vermont this weekend. I agree. They're going to stay at three. Wallpole's a team that we put them up all the way to number one and I think we kind of curse them because they they've gone down since then. And and but again, talk about giving teams credit for close games that they're just on the wrong side of a bunch of one goal constously. They they flipped that around against a team like Maryland and that could spike them or sparked them for the future. I'm fine keeping Maryland at three. I think that would probably keep the Rangers then at number for they since our last podcast. He just sorry, the avalanche, the avalanche. Yeah, Oh, Oh, yeah, rich, rich, Chris, same, same persy. They beat the spartans on Friday five the nothing, I think that was that score, and then they lost that game to the railers on Saturday and a shootout. So a one hundred and one one week and they stay at four. And then we get to five and you know, I don't know, like it's it's just weird to me a little bit that a team that's tied for, quote unquote, last place and the South is currently late ranked five in our power rankings. A little flyers. Okay, they're tired of project to stay up there, but they have three games in hand. They have three games in hand. That's a fair point. But I would also say that I think either one of the Connecticut teams deserve some love. The Connecticut chiefs and the Connecticut rough riders. I think they deserve votes, but I think little fires definitely stay. Come on, we need to talk about the Nott make state. I think you know. Hang on, here's some fun time about Connecticut. The hamburger said no one ever need in Connecticut, probably by Walter Brown. The third, okay, the keep going. This is it? No, he's saying that the fits in our league. So, but the third, because it was that many years ago. Well, hol go on, history lesson. Let's the unjacked January two thousand, one thousand eight hundred and seventy twenty one venture citizens of new haven became the world's first subscribers to the telephone exchange service, and I'm sure Jack Devins family was one of them. To Jack Jet's Jack, Divine Surf and divine. You better be getting these names right, as you're saying, oh, we need to make sure we get these names right. You just said one wrong. Everyone's Fi see everyone's ficy morning recordings. Everyone's killing it. I made sure to ask. People thought I was stupid for clarifying his name, but I clarify that. I appreciate it. Thank you. Are Because, Jeff, are they both last week? Are they both on the bottom of your screen? They are. Okay, so it's like they're going like sideways at each other right now. They also the Polaroid Camera, helicopter and color television were also all invented in Connecticut. What? Yeah, really, Yep, I bet Steve Browns that Brown. He's a big Fan. And your last fact is Neo Raven went to college and CNETICUT. Moving on, could have pier cat's what upreate peck them? So splitting their games by beating the eighty sevens on Friday losing the Maryland with an empty net. Are Yet maybe the little flyers do stay at number five.

I did have mare catch on. Say to me, how can you out shoot a team, get three breakaways and hit four post and still lose? I said hockey. So that was the game against Maryland. So we'll keep the same five in the exact same order. But now we get to the same debate that we had about ten minutes ago over over who gets to receive votes. I think sounds like it. They're more what the chiefs? Yeah, I think they absolutely even. I even put the rough riders in there. They're looking like they're their team that's putting it together. Both are but they're right. I wouldn't pull over the refers as much right now. I'm not discounting them because I think they are making a name, starting to make a name for themselves a little bit, but I think the chiefs definitely need to receive votes. There finally, as we like to say, on the come up. So I think they definitely are one that needs to be looked at for sure. All right, I mean I will just point out, though, that the the rough riders have won three of their last four games and have won five of their last seven. So, while they're not given receiving votes, just putting it out there for the rest of the League, watch out for the rough riders. They're slow start did not define who they are and they are not going to be an easy game and moving out for the the rest of the season, probably one of the harder games that most teams will will have when they face them. Som Sir, one hundred career points. Columb Bell, Oh, they're so, they're ye, have nothing really worried about with him. I like the addition that she's made a Rossy. He made a difference either day in the warriors game in a couple goals. Luke Jordan's another new name that they've added. So yeah, I mean coach effern in his first year. He's switching some things up. He's about a little over ten games in now and he's moving the roster around and looks like he's hitting some hitting the right buttons and guys are feeling Jack Divides. Unbelievable. I kid that. First Love the Shawn, the shootout. How can you not love divine? And then you saw harsh on Lauren's top plays this week on the EHL, top plays done by Lauren. He'd that was a filthy move. So yeah, harsh, so chiefs receiving votes. But Lorn, I have to ask, have you just abandoned your preseason favorite team? The belger rewards Vermont Overmont, the lumbies. They've won four straight games. They play the appleach today. There I I'm not discounting them. I think they're they're final. They've had a little bit of struggles. They did hit a little bit of a rough patch here in the beginning, like here and there, but I think, I think they're one to watch out for. To I'm definitely not describing them that at all, but like, I think, do they receive votes? I think. I think the teams we've been talking about have done a little bit more, but I'm excited to watch the lumberjacks this weekend at the showcase because I think they're going to do some good stuff and they receiving votes like the chiefs are. I think we could. I think we definitely could, because if you said they weren't that, I was gonna say that they were receiving neils vote because they scored twenty two goals in four games and they beat in their last couple games. They like. They beat the wizards eight of four. They like. Some of their players have just been like absolutely just racking up the points. Tyler pennry the other day is getting all kinds of points. Evean Schmidtz just staying hot, like it's just fun time to watch in the lumberjacks. That's for good wins. Two Wins Against Sea coast want against the Seahawks, went against the wizards, all very good teams that yes, the Sea coast is also the sea coast edition of this year's Spartans. Has Been on the WHO are they segment quite a bit too, and they're still figure that out, but still a good team nonetheless. And Yeah, lumberjacks definitely starting to move. They played well at the last, I think it was the first, showcase, but they they stormed in. I think they like those to twenty five minute periods, but there's speed. I think they like to just keep go, go go. So their fought. The five in the EH'll stay the same, with receiving votes for the chiefs and for the lumberjacks, and that means I can now get to my good news with the ecrew fantasy challenge. It's time for the e grew fantasy challenge, and the e grew fantasy challenge is presented by Biosteel, the sports dream of the DHL. Use the Promo Code you show, that's Ds how, for twenty five percent off when you check out at biostealcom. Jeff. For the past two years, what have I complained about forever when it comes to fantasy trick points and who gets the first hat trick of the year? Yeah, you did, yes, and you tell you have to now. Now just one. I'll just want I thought I saw be fueling his ego anymore. There's our ht at a to and your dot called. The day was like. What now? Now? At first, you so many bonus points at rest. First, like the the third goal was credited to Jack Bos shirt, which, if he scored while being the backup goaling for the day, that would be an incredible feat points. Welcome in first now, because no last right there. So if he had a stick with them, he could easily reach out and snag a goal. What if the pock hit his blocker hanging over the glass and just redirected in? Actually, if you go talk, if we're going to talk about goalie goals, I just want to give a quick shout out to aiden Weller. Now he plays for the seven s eighteen you team, but he helps...

...out working the camera for the echo and EHLP Games. When the seven S P team faced the avalanche, they're eighteen you team also came down to New Jersey to play this weekend and when the avalanche pulled a goalie there's a centering pass from the corner. Weller got his stick on it like he deflected the past, and it Creem all the way down into the empty net. So he didn't quite shoot it. I'll a HEX sotler brod or, but it also wasn't one of those cheap he's where he made the save in the other team pass it in the goal and he went right to the bench. He sellied heart after he scored that goal. So it is he did the drive by. Oh my God it was. It was cool to see an actual Goalie Goal Jersey shore arena and again, even though technically wasn't the Ehl, I thought he deserves a shout out there. Yeah, he does for sure. But a breakdown what took place. We add kind of an extended fantasy weight that were coming off of because we had the all star break, which teams are a little bit slow with their schedules out of it, into this past week. So we went for probably like ten days or so as opposed to the regular seven, which, Jeff, as I it should not help. Well, listen, I did a decent points actually, when I looked at it. But and and it's going to get back up, but it's a long season. Like you know, Graziana got your five points. Mettler decided, you know what, I'm just going to go win the October defenseman the month. In the last week here he got to sixteen fantasy points with a goal, six assists in one power play point. Boss Shirt has been excellent all year. Struggled a little bit as as Walpole has. So he's still got to jeff a goal. Well, not time. Thank you. Thank you to my number one cheerleader out there, Seawan Walsh, head coach of Snooze, the hips university, calling both the executive producer, justine preteria, and myself yesterday to make sure I got those points. He said that man deserves those points. You get credit for that goal, so give him the credit. I said, I don't think that's going to stick walls sheet, but thanks buddy. Love you. You know what, while she's one of the biggest supporters of our league, yes and he was at he's at every showcase. So I think this is a perfect time to hit pause and go to Lauren's interview with him. At the WALPOLE showcase. I was Smith here with Shawn Walsh, feet worst twenty seven. Him University and what's The hils a special one? What keeps you guys coming out told, whereas I just think there's a lot of good quartey players in the LEA throw multiple teams. I think all of the showcases do a good job that showing them all, all the players against different teams. So I think it's a three of them showcase and it's one drive to one rink. It you get to see all the teams play and when it comes to come in the show pieces, what are you more for in the players? Where you look for maybe in the teams as a whole. Maybe what are you trying to find out of these guys? Yeah, I think you're to hear. It really depends on what you're graduating and what you need to replace, whether it's guys on the power player, penalty pill guys or goalies or offensive defenseman defensive defenseman. So I think every year of change is depending on you know what you're lacking or what you need based on graduations for this upcoming year. And how do you decide which showcases you go too? I'm sure you get a lot of the plate and Cry Hockey Picking Change. which ones you'd decide to go to yeah, I think part of it depends on our schedule. Obviously locations big factor for us. Getting over the once in driving distance become an hour pretty easy for us. So I think that would a practice schedule of game schedule is a big factor and really doubt play. You Go. We appreciate you coming on and we before definitely see some more guys er team. Yeah, thanks, and number one play should have been the goalie really safe, as I mentioned. Well, she's at every showcase. We can count of him being there again this weekend. In terms of like after us, for who knows the most players in the League, it's Sean Walsh, right, like he he knows everyone, knows everyone. But to get this, always has his pain, always always writing his little notes that he'll come over to me. And Yeah, I like to the he he works with us to like he says, like what did you see out there? Where do you see this period from this person? That person kind of takes our two cents and then gives his two cents. And he's a guy that's been around for a long time. Played Hockey himself a few years ago. So actually he still played. He still playing some beer leagues, still competing and I think its teams won a championship. Possibly, but yes, I mean you still great. Thirty point four, see points in the last week. So last, but that makes you get to pick again. And listen, if this week's lineup doesn't get you anything, then yeah, that's you have to just throw your hands up and say, what do I have to do, because you literally this is like picking all the high seeds and the and the march madness and basketball. You will literally wet chalk. Here's top very sad. One of your pis because I wandered there. Sad. Oh, where are you?...

Who? You said about Lauren? This is is it Mistad? Was Mr Egan Smith? Let the crowd go. Well, that's what I said last week. Not to know anthies had a rough go of it lately, with all of us giving the eighty sevens and stuff, but matthew us the Danni withs. What what did I do to you, sir? You I think there was a I think I had looked and he had only two games where he had no points. And I said this to my beautiful girl Frea Kristina. I said, here's the issue with fantasy. I'm picking the Dannis this week. He has two games out of I think at the time it was twelve played. We had no points. So if he puts up no points this week, then I'm cursed and the players hate me for some reason why I picked them and only got me to sist. But it's all right, Matt will hopefully the you'll get back on good strides later on and maybe it'll be on my team, maybe it won't. Put Yeah, I did have to bring big old Egan Schmidt into fantasy this week because he did some unbelievable things for Lauren last week. Did a little bit everything as he can does. He scores in the powerplay, he scored shorthanded, he assists, he does it all. So, Egan, please do it all. You're one of the three teams that plays four times this week, so had to go with Schmitt. And then I have to double up as well. I had to pick Michael Tersony and Ronan Mobley because again, the avalanche played three games this week. So I'm hoping Mobley, Chris, come on, put moble in for two. Maybe Mr Peremba gets one, hey, maybe mobly gets all three. I mean let's let's keep them, let's keep them up there, keep trotting them out at that blue paint. Keep the W's piling up. And then I went back to back. Like Neil said, I had to go chalk. This is not a time to get cute, as I say for the rest of you that are higher up in the heavens of the standings, you guys can get cute right now. I can't. So I have to go chalk and backtoback weeks to Jimmy Metler, because nate broke. Don't fix it. Yeah, a goal in six assists last week, so let's go to me. Well, that's create a new rule. Jeff, you can't pick metler next week. That's fine. I wouldn't go for Hack Crick of PIX. I would not pick him again. It is first this week, so we'll be an issue. What are you would end up take? They are we playing Calvin bowl out calvin fantasy? Just making up rules on the fly? Well, according to Justin, this is how I won last year because I made up rules on the fly, as he as he types in the chat. Neil makes up rules all your line. anyways, let's get to Lauren's fix, because yes, she put up thirty seven point two points because of Egan Schmidt, who, coming out of the All star break this outed, let's just go, score five goals, getting assist, three power play points, too short handed points in a game winner. And what's interesting to you pointed out one of your picks this week in penry. The game they played yesterday was against wow seahawks, right, and they won that game and Egan had no points in that game. Well, valley had no points in that game. You know, Anthony Pick the valley. It was all like their secondary score. So that's why I'm kind of high on Vermont Right now. But overall, as I mentioned, she got thirty seven point two points. Twenty five from Egan Schmidt, eight point two from Nathan Miller, a pair of assists from Logan Dairy Berry. So what are you got you tody pick US actually better than the defenseman pick of Matt Herrick. So well done, Lauren, will done. You showed US golf clubs. It's your picks for this bookie. I brought back one familiar face and then I brought back a couple that we haven't seen you and I guess when we saw previously. But bringing up my full words, I went with a railer. I chose Mr Ben mclashing. We've been kind of hyping them up a little bit so far on this, so I wanted him. I'm I'm so excited to see what he can do because, like I was talking with Trevor Blackburn about this the other day, he works for the railers and he loves that kid and it's just I'm excited to see what he can do because he's a big kid. He's like, I think six three and he he made me look tiny in my interview with him, like he's tall dude, and like just the things he can do with being like that big and like just he has definitely one to watch that I'm excited to be able to snag him. Sorry, Neil, but also, I'm not sorry, I'm excited for him to be on team low. On defense, we had brought back an old favorite. I think some people might recognize his name and bring it back. Thomas Dempsey from the APS. I think he's been pretty solid so far this season. We saw him at the Allstar game as well, which is good recognition for him and all his hard work, and the ABS have quite a few games coming up too, so that was smart choice to pick from on in terms of goaltending, I'm bringing back Josh Kotei. I think Neil I had a him. Well, he was big for me last week. Yeah, Oh, yeah, three winds. I think. Excited to see what he can do because, as we've been saying, the lumberjacks have started to kind of get hot again, so that's probably a good team to be picking from and for my utility, also picking from the lumberjacks. We just talked about him as well, Tyler Henry. I think it's funny to mention too that, yeah, you can schmick and have some games where he's quiet, but someone like tyler friend, we will just like pick up that slack...

...and just be like all right, I got you, like we're gonna get this one done no problem. Like he's definitely been one to watch. I think he has been a little quiet and, like I feel like people have been kind of not dismissing him, but I think they haven't been putting as much focus on them that he deserves. So I'm excited to see what he can do for my team. And Anthony Actually had the best week. I say week it was a covid twenty one. November. Third or last fantasy quote unquote, week he had the best week going until my hat trick. I got a ramp the hatchery again. Sorry, it's gotta keep plugging that one. He had forty six point six points this past week and like, not to be remiss, is like we mentioned, Egan Schmitt had twenty five in La Valle had twenty three. For Anthony, like like, he was literally almost just as good, more on the assisting side of things, and then when he scored he had to both of his goals work game winning goals. I know I've asked you this question before, Anthony, but Tristan fat that got you two wins, one of which was against the eighty seven, so you got to kind of call that game. Must have been a little bit of a thorn in your side while you were calling the game. But, like I said, it was a nice pick, though. It was a great pick. He got him fourteen point six points. Just those two guys alone are over thirty seven points. So Forty six point six which setting up the pick. Third this week. Who Do you have for the November showcase? Okay, so let's go through the pics. I'm going first off with the New Hampshire Avalanche. They're one of the hotter teams right now in the eastern hockey league and you got to go to Aden hotch kids. It's he's been on a tear recently. He has points in his last four games, including a couple of multi point games. So I'm going to go with hotch gates for the forward. For Defense, I have to go with Victor Mals on for a defender. He's second for the Boston Junior Rangers total in points. He has fourteen points in fourteen games. He's also writing a three game point streak, two goals, five points in his last three games. They're going up against the protect junior ducks. I think he's one who can hashtag attack the nest. For goaltender, I'm going with Jackson Bernard. Now Bernard say percentage has taken a dip. It's only point nine hundred and eighteen and he's had a couple of rough starts, but I think if there's any time for a player like Jackson Bernard to turn it on, it's in the showcase. I think he thrives under the spotlight and I think that this is a good time to go for that pick. And then I talked about it earlier. Got To go back to the nutmegs state. Another fun fact, the first blast furnace in Connecticut was built in Lake Bill back in one thousand seven hundred and sixty two. A player who's heating up right now lucas backseat, has a seven game win streaky, has sixteen points in twelve games. I think he's going to light it up in this showcase. So he is my utility pick. Okay, couple guys, I picked you earlier in the season. Bells on and back to like that. I didn't even know there was a town called Lake Phil, but anyways, we'll go right go this one for one final time. I got a hat trick last week. That is what propelled me into the of the League. Can you take your ego outside please? Hey, like I can't post you close the windows this time to get down. It's a little cold. Up appeared him man. Colin Bell got me three points, William White Five points. Coatie, who lauren picked, helped the lumberjacks reddle off three straight wins. I would imagine he gets the start in goal this afternoon for that avalanche lumberjacks game, which this entire crew is going to go turn that on into sect the second that we end the podcast, because you all have tixpence and that game I haven't. Think I have a pick too. And then Justin Guelph, as I mentioned, got me four goals, including the hatchery, against sea coast for nineteen points. Did you know that you'll got a hat trick? Did you know that? I picked last last week and I take last this week. There should be another bonus point for that. I got forty nine point two points. And then I picked four guys who haven't been picked before, but jake the Napoli had an overtime winner at the last showcase in Walpole. That was against the New York Apple. Core I do have a reason to watch that lumberjacks avalanche game because I have Corey Papowser on defense. He's a player that is good, whether it was last year, this year, the second he has a chance to join the rush, he's going to join it. I'm going to skip to my utility for a second because we mentioned him earlier. Hunter Rossi has only played five games already has three goals for the Connecticut chiefs, who just received votes, and the nut makes that state is on the come up. Whatever that means. And then about like I got to the goalies and like it almost took me an hour. I was like, I don't know what I'm doing here, like who am I supposed to pick? Like, you know, there's so many good options, but as also the risk of not knowing who's gonna play right. Like you look at what the...

...wizards have done all your long. They've rotated three goalies. Literally every other game they've gone one, two, three. So can my life you. It's it's tough. You know. I just so they always rush people and say you're on the clock. I got to pick last, so I got to take my time. I'm picking Cam Hole Brooks. That's how it works. I can't. Everyone's just I can't just amered each other today, but every time. All Right, I'm thinking Cam Hole Brook for the for the wolves. I I just have a feeling. I had a feeling about coach I. I hope I have the same feeling about Colebrook. They have games against the rough riders, who you guys have a few rough riders throughout, and then they have a game against the apple core, so epthany we're going to have a goaltending maybe match up against each other in that showcase game. But just to recap the overall points before we get to the what to watch for. I have just like to say, though. You love to sit there and to out yourself for picking New People every time, but I've been trying to pick at least like one new face almost every week and everyone craps on me for because like one out of the box. There with some of these pics and I'm like, well, they've been working, so I don't know what to I was just saying that the majority of your picks this week have been picked before, but when they go backed, when they go out and get points this week and my new picks get done, will begin next wes podcast by you guys saying what's up meal? You didn't win are you didn't get first this week. We can't see pick new people at we get told off, but then we pick the same people, we get told off. We can't, we can't please you. Welcome to the ECRE fantasy challenge. So I have to bring up the other big announcement of the buses. Yes, the other big announcement. We announced the players that are going to be participating in the first annual ehl All star classic, which will have thirty six forwards, D and eight goaltenders. Pretty soon we're going to be announcing the four sets of coaching Duos for that event, because it's kind of a mini four team tournament. Each team is going to play four games, they're going to play the other three teams and then there's going to be a consolation game and a championship game. This is November, twenty one and twenty two at the ice tend so each team is going to be led by two coaches from one division. So there's going to be two coaches from the north, to coaches from the east, two coaches from the central and two coaches from the south. Between now and next Tuesday, ideally, I will connect each one of you with your coaching pair to get yourself prepared for Tuesday's draft of the sixty eight players, as it's kind of a three headed monster each of us will be making. Anthony will get be paired with the two north coaches, Jeff will be paired with the two east coaches, on be paired with the two central coaches and I wrote down Anthony twice on my notes. I'm going to have the South Coaches into their coaching to dissipating. So so we're going to show between now and next week's podcast, we're going to have that draft and pick each one of our teams and I have a feeling that the coaching duos are going to lean on US pretty heavily for that draft. But it just gives us some extra, I want to say motivation, but some extra homework, I guess, this weekend to take a look at those sixty eight players. We all have a good, a good idea of who they are ready, but watch them specifically in this event because coming out of the showcase they'll have one weekend, that week of the twelve, thirteen and fourteen, and then the following weekend is this all star event, and whatever team we have everything that they do, we will accrue more fantasy points. So we'll have to come out the massive one we did last year, the twelve six, yes, twelve sixty three. But what's good? Well, I have to figure out with Justin is what bonus points do you get if you're a team wins the tournament? Forget the goals in the assists of all that, if you're a team wins the tournament because, as I mentioned, as a four team many tournament. Each game is to twenty minute periods. So you play to the first day, to the second day. There's two teams are going to move on to the Constellation game and two teams and move on to the championship. Geam, what do you get if your team wins or whatever points you need to move in the first place? My God, Oh my God, a back first. It's amazing. There's got sixty points. Hey, the the current standings. I'm at one hundred and eighty point two, anthonies that one hundred and seventy point two, laurens at one hundred and sixty six point eight, and Jeff at one hundred and forty three point eight. And with that will go over to the what to watch for before we wrap things up. Here's what to watch for this week in the east show what to watch force presented by hockey TV, the official streaming platform for your EHL and EHLP action through the two thousand twenty one, two thousand and twenty two season. So we have over thirty games taking place at this weekend showcase, which is in between. Well, we had in Worcester, which was...

...just like gauntlet. First showcase we had in Walpole, which had a couple half days right. I think we called a couple of them like haw ASS is, half school days, more kind of in betriately recess in between that. This is actually a home showcase for me. Is Twenty minutes away. This is great. I actually the seahawks actually reached out to me and said we can't find a hotel. I said the spring the team here, Vicky's gone this weekend. Probably would probably wouldn't have gone over well if I had fifty guys in my house. So also you stack in them in the basement. You have many guest bedrooms. Have Been Lucky enough to stay at the rabbit establishment, but you just get stack the team in the basement with the Peloton and and Ma love well and take a get one ride in anyways and obviously break your bike. I'M gonna BE gonna be selfish and I'm going to take the very easy game to watch for, which is actually the second to last game of the showcase. At three o'clock on Monday it's Rangers, Mrs Railers one versus to ehl. So a little extra five hour energy, I guess you could say, at the very end of that showcase and that if it's like the last game that went to a shootout, that would be an awesome way to end the showcase. I'm going to take the first game then, railer's lumberjacks. Is that? I don't know if that's allowed, since we just picked the railers. This one of them, but another big litmus test for both teams, right, we said ver months on, quite the scoring bender. Well, welcome to Stefan Kolonk or Cambaloos Ki, guys that don't let in a whole lot of goals. How's that going to shake out? We'll have to see for that, so make sure you tune into that. That's the again, the first game of the showcase weekends, so that is one o'clock on Saturday. Realers lumberjacks, first and last. First and last, Lauren, Lauren and Anthony a little bit, because I think the lumberjacks are definitely wants to watch and I think their game on Sunday versus team Maryland should be a little interesting. I think that'll be fun one to watch. But then I also have a team to watch and I think I'm going to hear a whole lot about it, but I think the chiefs are one to watch this weekend. I think they're making starting to finally make a name for themselves. They struggled to find the wind calm a little bit in the beginning, but they're currently I think I'm like a three or four game win streak right now. So I think heading into the showcase that should be some good fire for them and I had been like hearing from some of their players here in there recently and I was here from the captain and one thing he said absolutely loved it. I think it perfectly describes that team right now is embrace the chase. I think they're absolutely buying into that and it shows so far with that wind street they're currently on and I'm excited to see how that plays out this weekend. If they win, I will scream embrace the chase and embrace the cheeks. Okay, I am holding you to that. We have that on audio recording. We are holding you to that. If I scream it into a pillow, it's the same thing, Anthony. Okay, I'M gonna go with two games. First one for the EHLP sevens and railers. That is Sunday ten am. You got a rematch of the ehlp frozen finals and I do think that should be a really good matchup. For for the next one, I think I'm going to go a little bit off the beaten trail. I'M gonna go with the East Coast Wizards and the Philadelphia little flyers. That's it, four hundred and fifteen on Sunday. I think that these two teams usually play pretty well in the in the showcases and for some reason I just think that's going to be a surprisingly great matchup. Own Be surprised if that's one of the games that goes into overtime. I'm looking forward to watching that one and see how that one shakes out. And between now and the first punch up of the showcase we're going to have another addition of around the east show coming from Lauren, a written preview of the showcase coming from Anthony. So keep your eyes peeled on our website and social media platforms. It's the third showcase of the season. There the next showcases until December, so there's a kind of a breathe there after this. But if you can make getting state and then that makes State Anthony when we get down to that one, I want you to have a whole like hoster of all these facts ready to go hang out rand the lobby. But the trifold ready? Yes, that's rifle, like we're oh my God, we're throwing it back right now. I forgot about all those class for all those prize projects you have when you're those trifles, I used the tail them up. Afterwards I was like, thank God, this is over anyways. But if you can't make it to her Lawrence, you can obviously watch every one of the Games on hockey TV and we'll see you guys at the showcase. So that's good. So you guys there.
