This episodenumber eighty eight of the e show in a final one of the two thousand andtwenty one off season, as we set the table for the new year after assemblinga strong set of all time want ups throughout the summer, we're going toput together the very best of the best. This week. The first line up of theepisode features the Best Twenty three players in the eight year, history ofthe EH l. As for the second line up, this group of Twenty three playershighlights individuals who have climbed the ladder up from the EH LP to theEHEL. The majority of these players have since advanced further on to n CAhockey, but there is a small core head in the ice in the EH hell. This fallwith hopes that their NTA commitments are right around the corner, and withthat, let's welcome in Jeff Mills now and Jeff. It is so hard to believe thisis the final episode of the off season Ye we didn't. We did it just be, andyou buddy and then after this I guess our work could get gift. You could saya little easier. EWER gonna have two new voices coming on with Laren Smithand anty. Do Pollo, or two no editions or excited about that, but hey this offseas has been polwith, you buddy, and I can't believe we we finally made itit's funny how the EH l calendar year works because, like the seven monthseason feels like it's really like nine or ten months, because it is how muchgoes into it and the offseason. You think about it and you're like Oh, it'sonly a couple months long, but really it's like seven months and five bucksright like like, and by the end of the five months, the off season you're likeokay, I kind of want to watch hockey again real right at the end at the endof the regular season or the end of the actual hockey season, you're kind oflike I'm, going to take a break here for a moment until the say, like aplayoff start that I'm going to watch that for sure, but then there's gonnabe a bigger break. So exactly, and I a weird too doesn't the five months seemlike wet by Bass, but it went by slow to the seven months goes fast, but itgoes slow out of it's yeah. I mean you know on the on the golf course it itgoes by very slow right. As how many rounds did you get in this off seasonat the recording of this? For A D, sixty three with means, I have to findseven more rounds to tie last year's number, so you Roger Marris, sixtythree three out and sixty three homers so we'll see we'll see I mean.Obviously the focus is about to turn primarily on the hockey season. Comingup what should be knockman what you can find Kayes, yougot be a normal normal year. You know the positives that I find is that bythis time last this time last year we had made countless changes already andwe haven't had to make those changes yet this year right right and actually, even though it's not hockey a sport, I did my first PA vent northeaster lastnight new and what a breath o fresh chair. We had a pact cabin center for avolleyball match versus PC nut, not putting anything its volleyball, butthat's just a good side that people are itching to get back into buildings andwatch collegiate sports and junior hockey. So I think we're gonna havesome full barns. Come I mean a few weeks. Did you see some of the crowdsat the first week of college football? Last week, Oh, I got a goose bog. HeSawed Virginia Tack With The Answer Sang Man Wisconsin with jump around. Ohyes, it's like all right! Well, that does feel normal, so it it'll be normalwhen we, when we get a showcase started as well. Obviously we have a show ourfirst show case coming up September thirtieth through October third, that abunch of college coaches already...

...reached out talking about how they'regoing to be there. So it's like great see you then Yeastie gonna, I'm gonna, give you a big hug that first day a a lot O in three or four seconds. Well, let's get this hl line up startedbecause, as I mentioned there in the Intro, this is really the the best ofthe best and we put together sixteen eh l all time, one ups throughout thesummer, the two that we didn't with the ducks in the ECLIPS, obviously onlyheading into their second year, this year kind of hard to put together anall time Banu for those guys, but we even got teams like sea coast andWorcester who have had just two years. But then you look at the original sixteams that had eight years of history. So there's been so many good players inthe history of the League and- and you know you could start anywhere, but thisline up. But for me when it comes to the best playere ever in the history ofthe league, it's cad an Primo and in remote and obviously I say player andsomeone says well he's a goalie. It's like overall, individual, the bestplayer or individual best individual than I've ever had is came in Primowhos. Of course, in the Montreal Canadian System I was hoping that carryprice was going to get picked by the Seattle crack in which would to openthe window a little bit for Kaden, but you never know ever now. I I guy I'vesaid to you before: Carry Price is always you know one sneeze away frombringing it what a cop away from tearing out hisshoulders a lot of miles on those tires. So, yes, hate is ready, he's seen agood, a decent amount of action. I think kind of around Swami's numbers isseas, maybe ten games or so, and so he has got called in so he's there he's onthe radar he played in the thousand fifteen. Sixteen season in the EH showwas both the goalie of the year and the rookie of the year. You know, I'm probably the one of thefirst to acknowledge that the year after he came in was the firstseason of the Nahl East division. So there may have been a chance if thatwas one year earlier, that we didn't see Kadin in our league, but he wasonly sixteen years old at the time and and talking to him the following year,he headed out to link in the brass to play for the Lincoln Stars, and he kindof said that, prior to that, when he was in our league, like I wasn't reallyready at sixteen years old to move to Nebraska, it's like I'm, probably notready right now, at thirty years old, like I say most of us, are I really notI'd rather be. He would e is like he said to me. I remember this. He waslike you know. I just got my license like I'm, not really ready to move toNebraska, so it worked out that his first taste of junior hockey was seeingshots from nineteen twenty year olds in the EH L and he was a absolute stud inour league. I think everyone will always remember just how good he was atsixteen years old in the I feel like what the also something that goes onnotice to new. It is how good he played everyone knows his dad, Keith Primo. You know kind of a big deal, one thousand nine hundred and ninety draftpick of the Detroit Red Wings. I think the reins, but yes, they was third overon door. Detroit rings. Your father loves the ETHELS, a ruin SAPRI wings. But yes, that's a lot of pressure when your dad is a big N hl. Success likekeep Primo was to be able to have him as the head coach, those who get alongand he plays as well as he did. That's. Yes, that's a huge thing yeah I I andthat revolution team was fun to watch yeah and it is brother chases on theteam also chasing the uppers university in Nebraska Omaha. I remember Keith, like one of the first things Keith told me was, I know I'm six for five. I lookrather intimidating. I know I fought my brother and then I shoking, but I'm areally nice guy, a wail. It's like, whatever you say, Keith like, likewhatever you saying, I'm not going to do anything to Piss you off, so we'lljust keep it like that. SO THAT'S A I! I gave a couple of chocolates too, andI told him that ill for ever hate his...

...brother for being part of the worststreet of Brune Sisera, couple of winks and smiles out of that, and I was likeyeah. You made little be cry as a kid, so thanks Wang Freme. So That's thefirst of twenty three guys you might as well stick with the goalies, becausethe other golly that has stuck out to me over the years. Just looking back onthe eight years of the list, history of the League is Michael Tilford. I knowhe's not the winning as Golia League history. That's predial, but TILFORDhad forty five wins and I just remember they were the oilers at the time thatthey were now the rough riders, but Tilford was just like he was the workhorse for multiple years, for that team ended up at Nazareth and I think forour best of the best line up. If our, if our one is Primo in our two, isTilford, I feel pretty good about whoever we're facing, starting withthose two guys, I would say so. Even the honorable mention guys that we hadthat we were talking about. You know no Egbert Billy Gerard like as there wasan injury you need to call one of those guys up Sam Cany, Brendan Brawley andsaying yeah. It was kind of hard to pick through so and so a good selection. So there's your two goalie. So now we're going to get to what will be atleast twelve forward sixty and then, as we've, had all your long and utilityjust well figure it out and we'll get to the utility for the season to willkind of tease that the end, how we're doing the fantasy this year, but Imentioned earlier, you know the definition between player and skater interms of skating right skaters that were out there forwards. Edwards trailMax for me, will always be the best skater that I've ever seen. I know hedid not have the most points in league history, but he was the MV. The twothousand and fifteen sixteen season- I just remember a goal where he cutacross the high slot, like flip the pock to himself like hip hi, not topback down to his stick and just roofed one, and I was like wow that I waspretty special like like, and I was he was a big kid, but he was kind of likehe was six four two und nine they was at as, but he skated like lighter thana two O nine guy. You know yeah, he a bang a body a little bit too, and thishas nothing to do nothing to do with the fact that you went to University ofmain right, nothing to do with a tri to nothing to do with the fact that he'sin the Boston, bruins organization and that counters primos in the katysorganization, right yeah, you know, Trim Arsta the talked Sir Hey. How areyou profits, Bruin's good, to see you not to go, but he was he was so specialand honestly he went off to the USSEL the same year that cadent, that sixteenseventeen season played for the Chicago Steel, helped him in a Clark Cup andactually led the team and postseason scoring which just we're going to talkabout this with a few players here. But it just goes to show you that theplayers, if you're good enough they're, going to find you right and you'regoing to be able to make that jump climb all the way up to division. One,even though we're a primarily division to division, three league, but trailMax for me, will always stand out. I mean maybe that changes in the nextnext couple of years, but whenever someone asked me who was the bestskater I ever saw it was him yea? No, he stuck out the Boston BanesOrganization for sure, and I think that you know being the lot being native. They only had him for one year because he played a lot of hockey in Lafia fora while, I feel like they wish. They had him foranother year, but you said he went on to University of man. We GONTA put upfucking of points there. Twenty five point season. Seventeen point, thirtypoints, ten points so as a reason, the province brewing Satam on the radar. Wewish him luck he's only twenty four, so is crosswind, be seen Edwards a TedGarden suit. Yes, if we're going to have twelve forwards, you can't nothave the all time leading score in the history of the League. This guy, whichis Logan, do Scania, who, in total, throughout his h l time, had a hundredand ninety four career points and the one that stands out to me wasn't evenone that counted. He scored a goal...

...against Salem state that I justremembered to this day when you're, a broadcaster- and you have an anglewhere you can actually see with a Pucki about to be shot, and it goes to thatexact direction. It's just like you know it's just like a special film, that's like! Oh, he circled out and I'm saying it out loud and I can see wherehe wants to shoot it, and then he shoots it in that exact spot and scoresand helps us win that game. It's like that one was was pretty damn coolprecision, sports por. If you will, I try to keep a family show still butyeah. No, I know exactly what you're saying when you're on the when you'reon the Mike- and you see something like that and yeah descant just had pointlike pinpoint precision with his shots and was a heck. I skater and yeah ahundred. Ninety four points that that could be one of those wing rescuesmarks that may stand for a little while the so it could and he is made to bebroken meal, so ye on come on in and a brace locus record. This is very trueand he is now at the years O, yes, he's now at theUniversity of New England was scoop was supposed to go to you. Mass Boston,Yumas boss, was one of the first schools around, though that actually canceledlast season at the time that they did obviously proved that they wereprobably the smartest ones right, because everyone, an he ate leagues e head of it. But we're going to talkabout more Vermont, lumber, Jacks connections, you and he throughout thisepisode to Leve it at that. We got two forwards and two goalies. So far. He inPrimo Michael Tilford, Edward Tremors and Logan de Scania, another former mVP in the league, was Richie McCartney and you want to talk about pure justspeed. I remember a short handed goal where he was like, like you, can tell, when a players about to go by a guy when they're when they're, pretty close, like oh he's, got a step on that guy. I remember this one being like he doesn'the's got a huge gap and he just still turned on the jest. This kid was sofast when he was in the League advanced on to play at Suny plase, which ofcourse was one of the higher end teams in the Suni, and if that's our firstline trail Max to Scania, Richie McCarty, I feel great yahtse going toscore a lot of goals and not give up many a untie back there. So yeah, Ithink pre motel for trail marks the Scania Micare, let's, let's Antri, intothe Olympics of elne forward rank. Second, all time in scoring behind aScania is at you mass Boston because he went there a year before logo issupposed to get. There is Chris Peters and wherever he goes, he just puts uppoints, including at U Mass Boston. He actually began with the New HampshireJune. Monarchs in the HLP ended up in Newington, wolves, Eh l, then two fullyears with the wall Pol Express over all a hundred and seventy five careerpoints in the EH. But it's carrieed right over right, two seasons! Are youmess? BOSTON? Eighteen is first year, twenty seven his second year, just every time, he's on the ice, he'sa threat to score the two guys that I'd line up with him kind of similar to trail Max, in thatthey each climb the ladder and they havekind of a similar story, Map Brown and Blake bride. They both played duringthe two thousand and sixteen seventeen season and whenever I go on the road tospeak, a different show cases or what not. I always highlight how each ofthose players probably was good enough to play a level higher when they werein our league, but took the time to master where they were at as theyclimbed their way up each one of them played in the Eh than the Nahl. Thenthe USA show then division. One callias like pretty weird I and they master thelevel that they were at right. So, like Mat, Brown rookie of the year in ourleague ended up all the way up at...

Boston, university, crazy off season inthe division. One transfer portal he's at Boston University now and I say hewas at humans: Yes, ended up at ums Lowell, Oh wow, that's what ye s wentto a couple years of bruins development camp. Imagining there was some exchange there. That said, get over to be you, because that is the bruins like pipeline. Ifyou will it's pretty it's pretty consistent, I mean look up other thanCharley macavoy right, but maybe that's a grisly back of boy lots and it's onlyto get deeper now, pandolfo s back at Bu, so he leaves the Bruins benches andassistant goes back to be. You is all the matter to be an assistant there, soI would expect the Bruins to continue to get a lot of you guys for sure. Sothat's where map round is now or blake bride. He played against Brown and theEIL and the A and in the US show like trail Max Blake bride on a Clark Cup in the US show, and I alwaysmess this up. He was with so falls, not so city. It's like how we had the junior fliersin the little pines the longest time he was a su false, was the captain obtoosethe stampede on the Clar Cup and actually ended up good for him. Batclose to home, he's at the Air Force Academy now and it's from Colorado, just one of the best kids ever also to go along with the fact that he's very talented, so that gives us sixforwards so far in six stunts so far and Briti get to see if Betley he hascontinued to be a very solid stud, hasn't put up a ton of points at AirForce Nel. But, as you know, you don't have to be a good hockey player to putup a ton of points he's noticeable on the ice at all times, and we just hadJoe Doyle on this year on the podcast, that's cool, to say, to yeah exactly exalso, we've got six six players named so far, and we've covered basically sixdifferent organizations that have been in the league. Everyone knows that I have a wizard's connection on this spot. I putit. I'M NOT LINEATA call in case is the newbroadcaster. I'm actually very excited for this kid, because this is going tome me sound old and like like a. Why is fell he I just see myself and him he's trying to break into the industry, and I see myself and him he's kind of taken over the wizards here. So maybeit takes Coridon's places your new hytee N, yes, but yeah see callingcondon students work a holy cross to so he's got a little he's guts into thecollege world. So that's awesome, congrats to him and wizards got a goodone and he's need a couple of other games, yeah, no more, no more a sportscenter. For me in you, No more platform but Colin will get to see that platform.Yes, I already do show it to him. I did show it to him. He did he like it. Itold him if you plant both feet and you really just kind of stay there. You'refine, but you it's obviously an awesome. You don't get any better than thatyou're on top of the bench, so you can get unbelievable. Color commentary thatyou can filter in. Yes, you do have to keep your out on a swivel for the poxbecause you're over the ice, but you make it hit. I liked it. I enjoyed it with the wizards. You know to put both of these players on maybetough, so maybe we're going to come back to one with the utility, butthey've had two really just superior forward throughout their time thatstand amongst the rest, and that was during the thousand and seventeeneighteen season. When Devin Pan Zico was named the VP of our league andTillin Schuett when the rookie of the year, you couldn't go wrong with eitherone here, but for me the one that will stand out is chouet again. The LightPrimo was playing in the league like at just such a young age, in producing itto such a young age that you have to give him just a little tick above, notthat Pan Zika, you know, was a slough by any means, while he won the Mpeaward and then ended up at Suny...

...potstausand. I'm going to hear aboutthis from him, but we're going to put we're going to put suet on this on.This team ended up. Moving on to the North, American hike league spent agreat deal of time with the North East generals and is now heading off to LongIsland University. This a he's going to join that program, so you're going tosee him as well. At Bentley Liu go sharks. FECKS! You gotta go back to a pretious episodeto learn about that in so please do yes! Next forward, speaking of kind of veterans, again Dj Swanki spent three years in ourleague- and I remember when we put him on the most recent team that got toface the college programs that Bead Salem stay as a touched on earlier. I always try and find the most veteranguys to be captains of that team, and just atthat time, there's no one that stood out more than Djs winky. He had fifty ahundred and fifty points in the regular season throughout his time whenever youthink doing on the wolves, there's been a ton of good players. Yes, but thefirst one that does pop into my head is DJ, and actually is that lit he's outliberty now, which is a club hockey program, but they theyare good enough to be a divisionone program at time like they as they are really really talented. They are lybased on actually Pennsylvania, I want to say, but then it says high en as youget in club, and it just was the perfect fit for him, and you know again we're going to say thisabout all twelve forwards that we end up with on this list. He has to be apart of it as ole without a doubt so DJ swankie is on here. The next Ford isAlex Octobeh, who going back again to that seventeen eighteen season, wherepansette got named the Most Valuable Player. Octobeh went through a shoulderinjury that year, that if he didn't miss the time that he did yeah, it mayhave been him who ended up winning that award. I want to say he finished theyear with forty three goals: scored, which is an e Hl record as well ended up going off to carry collegejust one of those guys that, when he's on the ice he's a threat to score. Ah,I was right with forty three girls. I was kind of good to at the top of myhead there for a second and then Pansie tied for the all time. We've not seethat eight seventeen eighteen season that you were just talking about that. Can you believe this? This is how good the Chl Tam is a far rum, the thirdline forwards with sweat, swanky and Octobeh. Yes, that is the third linethat first line. I mean anywhere else we're about to go forth line here andall time game leader in the history of the League. A hundred and fifty two games that'sregular season. I got to figure out what you, when you include post seasonin there Dennis Archipenko in just talk about trust in the process spent twoyears with Jos FOSCO, with the walks Berry scrat nights, followed coach,Fosco down to team Maryland two years there and you know, has a frozen finalsappearance in his resume right. The hunt over a hundred a D fifty gamesplayed over a hundred and thirty points had Enou to king scholars. This fall, Iwouldn't be surprised if he's a name that you see a lot pop up when you seehighlights from the uchd yeah, he was a special player in our league and kindof sticking with that South we touched them this team last week with our finalteam of the week feature in the New Jersey it seven and it's going to feelwe're going to feel kind of Amisse, leaving one of these two forwards off whetherit's Tim Dabord or Dante Termon, who are actually going to LawrenceUniversity together,...

...but de Bord spent all three years atthe y seven of had a HL program. Tim De Board has been a part of it. Yeah, sowe kindo we kind of have to lean that way which which than Dante can say tome Neil you just left off a rookie of the year and most voluble player, so owl mention like we said I mean this istough. This is really really tough to wear it down to twelve guys I meanyou're going to leave guys like a tyreman off the off the board. Justlike we went back. If we go back to the goalies, we had to leave off NolanEgbert Brandon Browley, the all time hl leading winds leader, which then justjust goes to show you we're not just going by numbers. You can't you have togo by what we saw on the ice. What we saw with how these guys impactedcertain organizations and stuff to right. Now I mean that's, that's notall about the numbers. I know everyone's big on stats and stuff, butit is like what did you see who played in big time moments and came up andmade big time plays, and you know these guys, all all did and not to Saye theguys that we leave off. Didn't but and then we are trying to include multipleteams if we can, but also factoring in that that if players are good enoughand and there's a team that isn't on here then- and that is the case alsoright- you know, the final forward that we did have circled is Brice Whitman, who spent time with the revolution and the little fires. The tough part, Iguess you can say for Whitman- is that he has played in two EH l championshipgames with two different teams, unfortunately came away on the losingend twice by a goal: twice right, but a brace at least you're, not thebuffalo bills and go to four street so balls and loose for street. You knowyes exactly, but you know I think I have the sports. I think it's almostthat, like quietly, he put up the points that hedid right like it. Wasn't it wasn't flashy with with with snipes here andthere you name it, but quietly. Here's a hundred and sixty six career pointsnow was that was my career. Like I like, I said it was it wasn't one of thoseguys that blew you away with speed or what not but you're just smooth, it'sjust so smooth and consistent, and that gives us twelve forwards and I'm goingto come back to the utility but think about some of the guys that we haven'teven named here so far a joey savell, cory, Kennedy and Austin Kelly. I meanthe list the list goes on and on and on, but at Olivetans. Yes, that's twelveforwards so far and that transition US transitions us to the D and Our second oiler last rough fronter. I love thiskid one of the best stories we've talked about because of just how steady he is andthat's Alex Wilkinson who played defense for the rough radish for a fewseasons and then ended up at army, I'm going to pull up the the Penlyn ut stats here because I knowwe've talked about it before but, like we d talk about it enough, like wereally can't talk about it enough. No, it needs to be glorified and mentionedspecifically. So I'm glad that we're doing that. So he spent three seasonswith the rogrons. They were called the oilers of the time, two thousand andthirteen fourteen fourteen fifteen and fifteen sixteen and three total seasonswhen you add together, Eh l, the regular season and the postseason. This is like a joke. Eight eight toeight penalty manage that's that's four too many finer penalties and threeyears in three years in nights a esmen and in Nineteen playoff games. He nevertook penalty no. Like and we've talked on this before, like as a defense men, your stick gets caught in someone skates. You Hope I accident you O, hangon a little bit too long on the end boards like like anything anything,it's the one game where the surface...

...really comes into play your skate. It'sa Rut like stuff. You really can't control, it doesn't mean you're. Youknow a piece of you know what it's as he hit some bad luck. Dude, and I meanyou think, that's why coach Riley was scouting him and he's a Connecticut insad. You know, I mean of an army. Here's no discipline! Here's the fouryears that army for the e four pens, twelve ten, it's a big year, twelve allthat up with two and then none so in cleaned it up for that last year, islike no, sir, no penalties for me this year, coach Riley! So you take threeyears with the rough riders where he had eight total three years at army, where he had six total right in that one sophomore year, where he let thingsget away from them with six total miners. It's to the twenty one point,so he didn't have six GOL fifty to sit. It's all that one year is almost likesix other years, combined yeah like it's just astounding to me, and andit's not like he's one of those guys at you just mentioned. Let's, let's go offpoint totals down in the EHEL thirty five, thirty, eight thirty, eight! Thenat college. Sixteen twenty one, two thousand six, thirteen! So the questionthat folks may be asking the Sofas, yeah, not a lot of penalties, but hedidn't play. Oh No. He played the kite. He played every game and played bigminutes every game. They Masa captain and an assistant captain as an oiler. So that's another I mean, and rightfully so and actually his lastyear of Darby, he was an assistant captain. You know so and that's a teamthat is cochre. You know it's the Army Academy, they teach what's the biggestthing: discipline in structure that team is the most one of thosediscipline structured Di Visual one teams, you'll see and Alex Wilkinsonwas a beaute. I really hope that he electly a shadow to Lard Smith. Guesswhere he's from Raleigh North Carolina said Katy Ax Land He's Yes, twenty sixtwo! I wonder if somebody would look at him somewhere and he's got to end up inthe CHL hl somewhere. I would hope if we, if we had a HL, fantasy line up where we had topick one four ad one D and One coolie, and we had trail Max, Alex Wilkinsonand Katan Erim ahead, three o three with those three. So that's our first D. So far, theSecond D I had circled is Dillon Carabia to one of the defense men ofthe year award with the Walpole Express it red advanced on to Salve Regina who, maybe we have to have a team of the week, feature on him yeah, because wetalked a lot of so much this summer, but they obviouslywent to a frozen for back in the two thousand and seventeen eighteen season, with double digit Eh l on night on that roster so worth talking about withobviously with Caribia and then speaking of the frozen for anotherplayer that advanced on to the division. Three frozen. Four was Gabe Truckin, who also won a defense fon of the year war, when it was with the little fires, helped you mass Boston, get to their first frozen, for I think it wassixteen. Seventeen actually had like a five assisting when he was there aswell. I never actually got to see him when I was in the EH and he was in thehow we were a year separated, but I definitely saw him when Temehu took onthe UMS Boston beacons. He was very noticeable out on the ice and thenspeaking of little flyers. I think this one is probably one of your favoriteand trim is a great name to say to right. You can say it then Sigmund aswe call them. Ziggy rose yes and in testable. Yes, Europe yeah he's the alltime leaving score for defenceman in the history of the leak. He was the Bobyou are of Ardh and down the points that this kid put up was justabsolutely stupid and we have to get to the HLP DHL on up here soon. But I dohave to tell the quick story that when...

...we were at the All Star Week and we had a decent itinerary going ashe had a hundred and forty points to so everyone knows throughout his career, ahundred and like crazy. One of those was like an eighty something pointseason: Wasn't it as seventy two in the regular season, eight in the post season, that was, but at the All star week we were doingthis tour and this and that Mr Ravin, I went to breast. When do we nap the bit tree six, four, two hundred andtwenty five pounds a deal. You know you got to that size, rest yeah! I didn'tbook it a NAP for us. It's Kimr, rabbit, hello and Ettie. Youwant me to be product and honestly he had. He had a huge argument for defense men of the year honors thatyear they ultimately went to Nick Crallisa in two thousand and eighteennineteen recent news on non next, he actually started his college career atNorwich is now transferring over to Plymouth state, but nick was just sodynamic on the back end for the avalanche, one of the best skaters inthe league and honestly, like so comparable to the final defense manthat we have here. That Jeff has mentioned before, because he calls theuncle neal and that's cory. Dony, who played for the Vermont Lumber JacksAnthony Del Tufo, who is a partner of ours, thou grizzled, I remember a weekend to when they all got there together was like Corydon is the best skater.I've ever been on the ice with period and he could fly. He could absolutelyvery good he could absolutely fly, and that gives her a good player very goodperson to yeah such a great guy right. I remember when we were at fiturse andthe team was eating lunch and he sat down at the lunch table with the schoolpresident instead of sitting down with our tea old, because he wanted to getto know the president- and I was like okay, okay, a future in politics or lawfor him. He just Oghao me. I already know myteam mates. I want to get to the other people here. It's like okay, wow, that's very that's a man, that's very wise for the young age, so that'stwelve floor and sixty two goalies and utility there's, obviously so manydifferent directions that we can go, whether it's a Ford of defence in thegoalie. But for me what stands Ellis? The fact that we haven't even mentionedone of these two brothers that just want Ed Division, one nationalchampionship this past spring at l, be to and Anthony and Mark Dalgas, andit's like we've mentioned other players rightthat have climbed up from the EH l to the US,show and and kind of fitting that we are recording this. While in Nashville m theorganizationthat signed Mark El Gossip, so Casoya, I think that we're going tokind of go in that direction I lit he was. He was now again. If you an theOld Jersey rocket. If Anthony listens to this he'll, probably you know not behappy, but I think he was a little bit better than his brother. For me, whatstands out is not the title that they want to. U Mask this past spring, butthe want the frozen for prior to that that they advanced to. They was one ofthose plays where, as a defense, when your eyes iscome through, the back o come through your socket right when the PUK kind ofjust scores out to you at the perfect speed for a one timer- and I rememberBuceros, saying like I think the call was like watch out watch out and dolgossip just stepped into a one timer that like well, I don't even know ifthe goal I ever saw it as I, as he won the game and over timeI think I was against Denver and then he like jumped from the ice like overthe boards into the bench, and it was...

...like yeah that was pretty sweet. Iremember posting about like right away. I was like that's Hallum di just foreveryone knows, let's you know so I'm right there so Shako, that's our ourtop twenty three I've mentioned before here thatprobably next time we only do these best the best line us for the followingsummer. We will because that will be a celebration of our over ten years as aleague, so it'll be interesting to see. If anybody comes around that we couldkind of take someone's spot in this line up, but forward core of adversetrail Max Logan, the scanner Richie McCartney, Chris Peters Map Brown, blake bride, Dilanchi, djs, twinky, Alex Actea, Dennis Arcano Tim de Boardand brass women is just stout defensive unit, seven guys deep, Alex Wilkinson,Dillon Arabia, game, Truckin, Zikeers, Cori done next Crallisa Mark Del Gazo, and then the goal tending due that we started with of Kadan Brimo and Michaeltold for that team is just ridiculous, so probably sewage we go or Philadelphia, but fire see robe comeback. He moving on. He is coming back to join the New Jersey, T, seven, theso controversies living a little. I go to Jersey people I so you know, like Isaid, maybe there's somebody that takes a spot there. Let me do these againfollowing the tenth season of the League that will see as we're headingin the year number. Nine then I'll, be your number ten I'll bring these back.So that's a that's a pretty stout twenty three guys, though, and thatgets us to the hlp lineup, which just to make sure we're very specific here. This is a progression line up its HLP TO EH show and, as I mentioned, the inintroduction there's a few players that are going to be on this that have notadvanced on to college yet, but we feel are going to be advancing year verysoon. There are some players in the history of the hlp that have playedjust eh L P, but we want to really highlight those players that haveclimbed the ladder and we're not going to start goal ten with goal tenders. Hewere going to start with forwards because whenever, whenever I think ofEh l, P E H, l, the first name that far in away stands out for me is Mikemacfie. It will always stand out for me are because he just put up points rightlike he like it, didn't matter where he was what level he was at. He just wentout there and put up points yeah a sort of one of the part of one of the moresuccessful premiere organizations. I'd say we have. I know that will causesome controversy with some coaches, but hey. The junior rangers have been to alot of championship, frozen finals, weekends and with a few differentcoaches and yeah they've done a good job with being able to transition guysfrom premier to their hl level so time. Everyone else is step in it and thatone eh LP C sand for Macpherson a hundred points. Then, in a in a coupleof years, at the EH L, put up onder and four points, so he still kept that andthat's the big thing right with a lot of these guys is you produced at thepremier level? Then you perfected your game a little more when you came up andyou still put in a lot up a lot of points at the big one will sell. A MCFerson was one of those guys for sure, and it's funny, because the ranchershave had these parings over the years. It was macpherson and Johnny. Andrewsduring those early years of the year Chil, and then it became that JohnnyMalan Druce. Lo and Ryland Ryan Bailey show right Ye anny alphabet baby. So we had, we definitely have mixperson. We don't know about Andrews yet, but we'll lock in both Malandela andBailey Bailey, who I think like to this time, maybe he's actually better than Alandrew Kolobo kind of was a shadow behindhim during the MV season, wherehe was just a handful of points behind,...

...but we'll put up just as good of a yearright bit like that. One season now ducal had a hundred and twelve points.Baily had a hundred right like it's like it's, it wasn't a bad year. It'sjust, though, doesn't look as good right but yeah. I mean twelve morepoints in twelve, more points, but a Bailey was was huge last year for theHL championship team, and I think John Eldrick was pretty big for that team toa be wintering over time, not too bad and what's funny is like likeprogression together, and maybe this is why we'll get to Andrews later, butlike they're, going together to Suni Fredonia right, like like they spenttogether in the hlp together in the ehow together to college, like that islike climb the ladder in unison right, and I would say that if you talk tothem, they probably have helped each other yeah. I better right, you know, they've helped each other compete in practice and games, and I mean thechemistry that they have after playing together for all these years is likeunbelievable. So, yes, it makes sense, go to school and have the same success. We wish them walk a son for Donia for sure, and you know that rich is sohappy right now that already three of the third three of the twelve four orBoston junior ranges, but it shows you they're, just one of the teams that has has done it right has just done it sowhite, with with the EH L P, to Eh l progression right and another one thatstarted so right of the Vermont Lumber, Jacks right and two fords. That alwayswill stand out to me or Mason EMO and Andrew Bay. Shard, as as Jim Masso, always pointed out like the team, is that those players were on didn't getthrough Rut, the benefits of advancing to of frozen fideles because theyweren't a part of this last year's Eh l team that went to the frozen finals orthe HLP Tin. That did, but they helped set the foundation to get there rightand they helped build that culture that they've established in Vermont and andMason who's at Manhattanville now Andrew who's that tune Plattsburg. Ifthose are the five forwards that we start with on this team, that's a that's! A reallydamn good start and imagine we have the HL premier to HL team play the AL time.Hl Team. That would be an interesting match up to would be interesting. Thatwoulde interesting, especially when you get to this next forward, that we havemore down here, the first one that has climbed the ladder but has not advanced on to college yet,but I think you could, for a early season, want to jink theseguys, but we just have a good feeling. Yes, in early twenty or early twentyhundred twenty two season prediction of being an m VP candidate and that's andthat's re cards, Jolinski s who had eighty seven points in his singleseason in the HLP and then I had fifty one points this past year. Right andyes, it sounds like it's less, but in twelve games, less right ray have putup the exacts. No, let's see to do the quick math would he have put up thirty plus more points in photo over ten more games right, probably not, but it's still there. The carryover is still there for him fromthe EH L P to the EH. L level and, like I said he is a player that we're goingto be calling and talking about a lot here early on in this upcoming season. For sure- and I mean what do you do last year to do it- we talked about like behind the scenes, type things andthis episode that people don't see is we all know what happened with theCovin season. The wolves are one of those teams that got hit really hard,so they had to start their season stop their season. They went through a lotof injuries, Donny Feldman, my Palante uh fantasy, unfortunately got injured,so Zelinski had to carry the load when he was out. So I mean that was a heckof a season. Then I just sure that he's...

...welcome to the you know the pressure ofbeing an MP potential candy this year. Sure it's something that coach, cuesand coach Trimble talk to about something that he now expects to be upwith putting the points that he's put up so far and he speaking of getting through whatplayers are the get through last year, just the quarantine and protocols thathe had to endure just to get here right. I sees ainternational yeahs guy from Lafia it's this. I could only get you can onlyever imagine right, right and and hats off to him for fighting through it. Theway that he did and sticking with the wolves for the seventh forward. I'llalways remember, Blake Harlow, who climbed the ladder in their program andthen went on to you, Mas Starmouth, but another one of those players that laida great foundation for the program right. So in that two thousand andseventeen eighteen season, it wasn't the best year for the wolves in Eh, l,history, but they've helped put to. He helped put together that foundation toturn it into what is turned into here over the years and in this past seasonbeing one of their best seasons in program. History and the future thatthat they hold in that program is a lot because of what guys, like Blake Carlodid when he was there. When you look at his EH L P ear with the wolves, he hadthirty five points and thirty six games, so that's just under a point per gameand then forty six in sixty six at the Eh, even as I mentioned now at U MasDartmouth, and that gives us seven forward so far and for our eath forward. We actually touched them on him last week, so he's in he's back to backepisodes back to back all time line. UPS probably doesn't think that Tim deBoard is M. Eighty seven probably thinks it's himself and that's JackLane, because he was a part of the two thousand and seventeen eighteen, aNagra, H, seventh team that had just played at the hlp level right and thenspend two seasons with the et sevens of the HL level.Again, Mantel about foundational pieces help set the table for them to make itto their first frozen finals. This past March, so jacqueline definitely has tobe a part of this list and then we kind of he was a big player to he. He showedup a lot and froze fins a week, and that was in the ant. We both calledquite a bit and coach. Karin and coach Illy talk to us a lot about it. Youknow after the game and we're all hanging out and stuff, and he was tough. He was tough too yep and we kind of teased this next forward earlier ornine forward on this progression. Lineup and that's Jordan, Buffa wine, who was always going to Una yeas, always going a une got. You know, Iguess I don't know if you ol fortunate because of what took place with Ovid, but e got reunited with a Limena, his and Logan to scandio at une and guessthose ters continue to put up buckets of points together and gets reunitedwith his coach, this fall as Jim Mosto's going to be an assistant thatyou and a so there's. There's your lumber Jacks, the? U University of NewEngland pipeline. If you a HL progression, willdo another to a section on that hl to une. What's Ronny is Billy Gerard whoplayed just H. L Rangers is also at Una and Oh that that core has made it veryclear to Turad that at the twoe sand, nine hundred and twenty playoffs hadplayed themselves out the lover, as would have beat the Rangers as acontroversy and as billy likes to say, he's just out numbered, but you know hefeels strongly that they would have still want. So right, I don't that's. Iknow. We've talked about it many times the soft season, but that's one seasonthat we really really wish that we could just put in like a video gamesimulator, something to see like what...

...would have happened with those teams.Exactly for our it's going to look like it'sour fourth line, but these players again are still there's plenty oftalent. Here, like I said early, I think Olympicswhen you come to the Olympics are the same way I once or for guys the fourthline and play in a first line anywhere else. So there's there's two there'stwo points that really stuck out to me about Mike Meredith throughout his timein the in the week and the first being that he's playing against his dad inthe Sudak. Now his dad coaches, a Suni Fredonia he plays for Sony Brockport, but Jeff Meridan and Brian Dickinson are just so close Dickinson used towork for Meredith at one point they have Thanksgiving together, I've beentold so so now I don't know if I, like so Mikeses, on the opposite side ofthings in table or how that's going to work itself out. I want to so it inwhen brockport plays pedone this year. That's would be wild to watch for surefor sure I get the Turkey waged thanksgiving o arm rustle over thatthing, but you know we've thought that we've talked about it before it's toughto play for your dad right, a right or a, and you have enough trust, though,in a friend of yours, to send them to a rival into your college conference thatit's just special and the other thing that pointed out to be about Meredith, all always remember, is cody Campbell is only heading in to his third yearfeels, like he's been here for ten years only heading I do his third yearwith the Walpole Express program, but in his first years captain for the Ehshelty was Mike Merideth and the first thing that he said to me early on inthat year. He had never been around a captain quite like Mike Marinet, and it's notlike meredith is a Malondogo who goes out there and every shift he has a shoton goal and a chance to scoil he's a hard nose, grind type of Guy Differenttype of player, but sure it's cody said he would block his shop a shot with hisface like that. He cares that much about the success of the team andthat's what sets captains apart. It truly does so I'm sure that's why he'sgoing to go play for Brockport? I mean, like you said, not a big points guy,but that's not always who you want is your captain either you got to havethat fair blend of the Mike meritis and Johnny meldre cause. You can't have allhundred point guys is, as you know, some people as crazy as that mightsound. So you need the gritty glue guys like Meredith, so it's action for thatfor five left wing absolutely and we get to the center and our center. Isaid a because this is the center of the graphic. When we had the railers feature. Sean Betoni referred to Jo Asa asalmost the face of the railers over the first couple years here, Mr Railer, MrRailer fuel. They only had two years again like I know I, like they've, beenaround forever to ever right absolutely forever. But if I was on the HLP oneyear, age, El Team, the next year ending off to Suffolk, this fall, andprobably the smallest guy on this flat up yeah a six or five seven, but he wasalways in a spot to score like the always in the spot, to score and I'llalways remember to remember that about him and he's going to do that atcollege too, like players doesn't matter what size they just have thatthat's that back of being in that Jist at all times and the second that we'regoing to wrap up our top twelve with here, thesecond guy who's coming up to the Eh this year and is also a great cofferJeff Owe like that, like I see that a by way real, quick, sorry, Azafeerhundred and thirty, so he smaller them. YEA THOU! Yes, like four hundred andthirty he's Nathan Kirby's size, I think Kerby's like a hundred andseventy five pounds. Well, that's how you for care or Bosolo Ego, no big deal, but Graham Hassan's, not much bigger...

...than those guys, but he's going to moveup to the HL AV this year was the MV in the hlp this past season and I wouldsay, there's big things coming for him: The when he gets up to that top levelwith Chris rail this year and one of those players that I wouldn't besurprised. If early on I'm getting a text from Chris Graham's committed tothis school. It's going to happen pretty quick for this kid this year andI that raise five o nine hundred and seventy six s so he's got five incheson yeahs, but not a huge guy, F e, O n nine hundred and seventy a player onIona to keep an eye on this year, and I guess us to our defensive core and the first player to mention here is theonly point of her favorite, the only player in the history of the Eso, theumbrella to win an award in both the Eh Lp and the El and JackJohanson won the defense men of the year award with the wolves back in twothousand eighteen nineteen, and then on the Defense Mon of the Year award withthe wizards this past year, Eh l, P, then eh is the only player to win inthe same award at both levels. It was very impactful of it's equallyimpactful for both teams. Would you say to no yeah, I mean he helped theeighteen. Nineteen Wolves went a championship right, even though thewizards didn't get far. Last year I mean he carried that team. For that bighalf stretch that got him into the playoff picture yeah and the year before they were stillalive about to go against. The Rangers will well that North, if you will, wasavalanche, lumber, Jack Strangers Wizards. The wizard, probably team thatwe weren't talking about the roast a quiet, underrated team, but talkabout contrasting in size Jack is a Azai not half in size, but is he likesix four H, h, t he's a big boy and we're going to see him. This fall onthe other end of things when he plays Fishberg state again against th L inOctober another player they were going to seethis fall. It's kind of funny how this player's progression took place with it. It did was JacobCrespo. He actually started. Eh L P with the wall pole express then spentthe better part of two seasons in the North American Hockey League. So whateh LP to Nahl has the first goal in the history of the main nor deksprogram on his resume and the city of men, the major des, andhe was another guy- that we talked a lot about. The frozen finals of her too,he was not a hundred percent healthy and he you know it, but he got it outand helped the y sevens really make the run of they did, and that was his first.I actually actually spent a some time at the wall. Poth l team, but the, butthe e sands was his real first true time in the EH L and now it's headingough to curry. This fall so we'll see Jack on the Wednesday of All Star Weekand then we'll see shake up on the Friday of all start week that that's it's creat. It's awesome tosay that, though, isn't it! I, like, I said, that's what this league is about. It's about the progression going from like this h premier to hl and theneventually commitments. That's a big thing and see these guys move on todynamite programs, like Curry College. They got Peter Roundy now over therewith curry, getting in his first season. It's just it's awesome to see awesometo talk about, and the next D that I have mentioned yourspeaking of commitments. I know that I, in talking a rich over the years, oneof the ones that he was so proud of, was Damien Dang wager o a great name isa great. Doesn't that doesn't sound the way it looks. The man no got the number of pronunciations. Ithink I heard of this kid's name over eers Giger Yoker, Oh yeah, but spenttime in the EH L P level with the...

...rangers than the EH l level. Now isthat western New England, but just so steady, always in the right position, just always in the right position. That's what you want to have a gooddefenseman, steady right position that 'll when you a lot of hockey games, which shifts us back to the defensive piece to go with Jacqueline from the ETsevens. That's Trevor Seer. They kind of followed the same timeline of beinga part of the two thousand and seventeen eighteen, EH, L P at sevensand the work in their way up to the EHEL team traverse. I remember had oneof the best shots when he was in the league when he had a chance to shootand wind up. Like it was an absolute bullet and obviously ended up a US starmouth aswell, and that gives us for a D so far and gets us to a pair of guys have also seen somefrozen fools time throughout their time in the league, the first being natedunning, who was probably the best player for the little fires during thethousand and nineteen frozen finals. I just remember every game. He brought adifferent level to it to his game and scored a few goals kind of funny forhim he went eh L P to Eh l to NCAA all in the same building as he now play rich as he now plays forNewman University, who also plays at am ice, work, skating, complex and askedin Pennsylvania, so he's been probably through the doors I asked and moretimes than anybody else, maybe more than Elo the they out the last fewyears, the well another guy to that gets to see him all the as our friendTom Wills, the little fliers play that play man. He does Newman as well. Sothat's cool for him. You know that name no need to study that one foveri andthen the final deed that I had circled here I mentioned from frozen bonesexperience. It was with that two thousand and eighteen nineteen wolves EH, l p championship team has stuck with the program all the way up to winningthe last year's Eh l, P defenseman of the year award is moving up to the Ehthis year, so that gives us our third player right to go with RichardsDolinski S and Graham Hasson. This is our third guy moving up to the EH lthis year and that's all Rico Valentini another tough name, Jeff, O Vala, but aplayer and to keep an eye on this year, and maybe maybe he wants to to showJack Johanson that he can also in the Dea of the year award at both levels.Right thout, we o from on a Rico. Let's go buddy if we went back to back yearswith that right, which gets us to the goal treasures, and we have two circlesso far where I obviously still have to get to that utility spot. But the firstgoal tender spend two seasons with the lumber jacks on the EH LP two seasonsin the EH l, actually kind of have to call it one and a half eh l, because hehad that he had the chance to join Wentworth in the middle of that twentynineteen twenty season and help Wentworth get all the way to the C CCchampionship game, helped them pull off huge upsets against you and E and curry, where I think he stopped almost a combined. A hundred shots like likestand on your head performances and, and just one of the nicest kids ever likewhenever you know he has a chance to be reach. This out o check it in here, andthey are, is just like you don't have to do that. But you know it's just it'sjust a great story, because we help the LEA and especially the lumber Jackson, coach Mossel, help to him get into the position that he's in today and that'skind of why we're here right right, I'm sure! That's why you know he still hassuch a good connection with the too. He knows the work that you know: Peoplelike yourself and coach Mosso did for him. So when someone, you know, extendsan arm and welcomes you into a family...

...like that and then helps he put you onthe map and never forget that if you're, if you're a good person that is there'ssome, not so great people in the world, that would do the opposite of that theywould not be thankful, be like Oh yeah. You know, but connor, that's awesome.God be here e t e. The second goal that I had circled you mentioned playersthat have won awards at both levels. How about winning a championship atboth less a only player? That's done the team right, the only player, that'swon in Ehli and an Ehel Championship, and that's Mike Pack Luca, who want anhlp championship of the Boston Junior Rangers and then one in ehelchampionship with the New Hampshire Avalanche and going back to what wetalked about earlier deal. I think peg Glukeoai left the rangers, because goodproblem to have fringes had too many good goalies and I system right who mana Gerard and Egbert. So good problem to have- and that was agreat problem for coach Chris Rella coach, Mario Marti, yellow because theywere able to pluck them and bring them to New Hampshire. Because of that. Sonow what a story you know usually see. Good goal. tenters like can switchafter wear to the championship, but that's the case. He grew out of the hopwanted, a transition to play in the HL and unfortunately, it wasn't a spot forhim up a breakaway, but he found one at the ice stead so good for him. We get to our utility and I've beenthinking about this spot, the entire episode and they it hit me who O it isand and the final step in the progression isnot NCAA for this player. But it's Tenille Yanos help this the rangers when the elphin ship in the seventeen eighteenseason put up sixty nine points and forty two games, including the gamewinning goal against the junior flyers in that two thousand and eighteen eh LPchampionship spent the following year with the Rangers in the EH L. Fortythree points in forty four games spent the following year with the SpringfieldJunior Blues in the ANA show, with twenty three points and forty threegames and then moved unto the cage, Oh professional, for all you that don'tknow out in Europe, Kahl of yes of Russia ended up in the MA show lastyear as well started. Kl ended up in the Ma,show and he's playing professional hockey, though I like watch like trailmarks, we talkedabout earlier, you know, like a Provence Burns organization, the KL isno joke. That's some big names over there. Exactly that suits to play onthe KL is Larry Anos play with Pavel Dat suit. The forward Detroit redway isa c like forty five years old and he's still putting buck question that wehave to ask right now. We have that so just to read off the names here, soeveryone has it. This is the HLP DE H, l progression line up forward: Micheferson Mason emo, Johnny, Melland, Dreco, Ryan Bailey, Andrew Bashad,Ricard Jollins, Ky's, Jordan, Buffalo N Jacqueline Blake, Carlo Mike Meredith,Joe Asa in Graham Hasson Defense Ben Jack Johanson. Jacob Crespo Damien DangWager Trevor Seer, nate Dunning alarico, Valentini, goalies, Connor Carbo andlike pad Luca Utility, if you will you want you to Nilala a lot of awesomenames on that team, if you're a broadcaster right, absolutely somelting pot to from all different parts of the world that country awesome. Soyou got a love, ocky baby. It is guys from Canada to Russia to lapote checkrepublic to be right. I got to and with that one so that that does it for theoff season and that wraps things up for us with our all time. Eh L line up andour all time, EH LP to Eh line up the...

...whole crew is getting together for nextweek's episode. So for the first time I'll welcome in Lauren Smith andAnthony to Paulo are bringing back fantasy. This year, Jeff has a title onhis belt. I have a title on by belt: Anthony and Lauren had never played, sothey don't have titles on their belt, but we'll each be picking every week, aforward, a D, a goalie and a utility that surprise for me, which can only bea forward or a D, Not a goalie, and obviously the teams that are arethe individuals that are trailing will be picking first, so we'll let Laurenand Anthony Pick first and then the veterans of the Group- I guess myselfand Jeff will pick next, but we love how popular the fantasy has become withwith both the players and the parents honestly over the over the history ofthe podcast righte coaches, using it as motivation will leave those sources onname, we've been told by certain ones that they use this motivation ofpractice, what their players are playing up so well exactly so that willbe episode.
