ABOUT THIS EPISODE

On this week's episode of the #EShow, we turn the page over to February, and the final month of the 2020-21 regular season. The episode includes a special shout out to Evan Donnelly and his family (27:16), whose home was recently badly damaged by a fire. From there we take our trip around the league and break down the playoff races in each division (31:15). The breakdowns continue with an update on the #ECrew Fantasy Challenge (1:04:18), which included all four of us trimming down our rosters. However, kicking things off from the very beginning, we chat with Jeff Cox from the New England Hockey Journal (1:14).

Learn more at penalty box foundation dot Org. What's up? My name is Neil Raven and this is episode number fifty seven of the e show. On this week's episode, we turn the page to February and the final month of the regular season. Kicking things off, we give a special shout out to Evan Donnelly and his family, whose home was recently badly damaged by a fire. From there, we take our trip around the League and break down the playoff races within each division. The breakdowns then continue with an update on the e crew fantasy challenge, which, of course, included all four of us trimming down our rosters. However, kicking things off and the very beginning of the episode, we chat with Jeff Cox from the New England Hockey Journal. I'm joy now by Jeff Cox, the New England hockey journals prospects analysts. How's it going, Jeff, and are you neil good? I appreciate you coming on. I know we I think we talked about this early on on the sea reason that some point. But obviously it's been such a very just weird year of kind of just gone day by day. How do you think the hockey community has managed away through this pandemic? A lot of the you know, leagues and you know, whether it be youth or junior hockey, I think deserve a lot of credit for being, you know, creative and trying, trying their best to get through this pain, you know, pandemic season the best they can. The fact that there's so many junior and youth and club teams that have played thirty, forty games, it really speaks to the amount of passion that the coaches and different or, you know, organizers and guys, you know like you and the Eastern Hockey League that have done such a great job to try to come up with come up with the season for these kids. And you've been rather outspoken a little bit on twitter about the different restrictions that states have here and there. It feels like the idea of a normal hockey season won't be a reality again until next season. Do you kind of get that same sense? Yeah, that's kind of where it where it seems to me. I mean, I know, I think the EHL, if I remember right, usually has their playoffs and March and the you know, all the AJF and all the other you know organizations are out here usually due to and I think I just saw that the interstate band was extended until through March and college coaches can't be in their ranks until April at the earliest. So yeah, I mean I don't I don't see any real semblance of normalcy creeping back in until hopefully, hopefully, next you know, next fall. Yeah, figures crossed right. And Yeah, you're right, we do have our our finals always at the end of March. I'm glad you brought that up because our group as a whole felt very passionately about ending when we're supposed to end. Not that there's a right way or a wrong way, but of course, you know get the Anna in the USA. Shall Leagues that are going to kind of go longer into the summer. Do you see any value one way or the other towards ending when you're supposed to? Were stretching things out? I think both. Both are fine. It's if the teams and the players and the leagues want to stretch things out, that's that's great, but I also I also understand trying to end it when it when it's usually, you know, that when the season usually ends. A you know, I think the only advantage to me would be for some of the players who would have an opportunity to play in front of the college coaches if you know, if that season was extended past, you know, April fifteen or I believe, is the current end date of the NCAA recruiting dead period. But it I don't know. It's a good question, but I think it really depends on depends on the league preference and, you know, kind of what what everyone's feeling at the time. And was unique about it is, you know, never I never thought there would be any such thing as a dead period like this that has taken place for the NCAA coaches division. Three schools are allowed to go out and attend games, which, of course, is kind of the majority of our audience, but it then factors in their conferences and there and their own athletic department. So that's why we've seen...

...no nest scats at any of our games. Do you think that, you know, for our guys it's it takes away, I guess, value that you only see some schools and not others that your games. You think it doesn't even matter at this point. I think for the kids, the you know, whether whether it's right or wrong, I think kids get a little bit more amped up to play when the coaches are in the in the ranks. And obviously, you know, fan support is in that same category and both are both are limited this year. But into your quick you know, I've seen the same probably three or four division two, division three coaches at just about every junior game I've gone to and you know, like you said, the Nest Gat coaches aren't allowed to be in the ranks this year. The one thing that I noticed with video scouting and under crew, if you're a college coach Trinder recruit over video, is it's easy to you know, kind of look for a player that you've seen previously, you know if you have someone in mind. But I think what it where it really hurts as the kids that might be a late bloomer, you know, someone who's improved significantly and you know might have had a negative impression. You know, the college roaches might have had a more negative impression on that player before and kind of wrote them off. Where you know, if you're if you're live watching it, live it it's you know, you might build a those college roaches might build to see that. So I really feel bad for the two thousands that the junior hockey a jejubs that you know might not get a fair shake per se, for for recruiting for next year. Well, I want to go down that path for a second. I know you're not a coach, but I've had, you know, multiple division three coaches come on as of late and I've kind of asked this same question to eats one. I want to just get your takeaway because it is so unique that every year of eligibility, or every class, I should say in college, gets an extra year of eligibility, which done the trickle that effect that that has on the age outs playing junior's. It's it's pretty huge. What would you say to an age out if you were advising them right now that's playing in the EHL. I think you know they're I think I would say you know there there are a lot of people right now that have difficult situations. You know, some more more so than others in all walks of life, not just hockey players. You know, whether there's your job being limited or you know some people's jobs are you know they're putting themselves in danger to help others. So I think you know there's obviously a varying degree of challenges that everyone's facing, but I think I would just try to, you know, remind them that you know, you can only make the best of the opportunity that you have and do your best to play well put up points, because you know this this season more that more than any other. You know. I think what the what those college coaches are seeing on elite prospects, probably matters more than past, when you know it was the eye test and then you know the all you know income kind of combination with the the stats. So you know, I just think you never know who's watching you. So even if there might not be any fans and their college coaches in the in the rank, you never know who's on hockey TV or WHO's watching on hockey TV or Life Barn. It was really interesting to obviously is now a conversation that started to begin behind the scenes that with every class getting that extra year of eligibility at the NCA level. Obviously you don't know how many seniors are still going to return, but for the freshman, sophomores and tune if they each have one more year. I'm not sure how much you've heard about this, but the idea of a current Agel in junior hockey getting a chance to play one more year. Where would you stand on that? I don't know, I think I think that's a bad idea. You know, I think the you know, the the chances of you getting a scholarship. Obviously the division two three is, you know, slimdon on you know, I know some schools give some aid academically or need base, but I just think it's you know, it's an unfortunate time for everyone but probably, I think, the best, and I don't want to ever hurt anyone's dreams or, you know, crush anyone's dreams by just to me. I think it just doesn't necessarily make sense because I think it's going to be in the same situation next year and I you know, I think the by the best case scenarios for those kids to you know, go to college and walk on or, you know, try out...

...for the team or whatever the scenario might be, at whatever level it is and you know if maybe then they don't play a lot as freshman because they're there are those fifthier seniors or or older guys, and just try to, you know, try to do better the next year. I you know, I don't know, I just I worry about that. You know, path if we if we allout twenty one year olds and in junior hockey next year, I'm I agree with you as well and obviously one thing that we're kind of, I guess you can say, waiting in limbo on as we've reached out to all the division two and division three schools just to try and get a sense of what they're looking for the in terms of a recruiting class for next season, and we're basically asking how many seniors do you expect to return? And for a lot of those schools they have no idea. There's still a number of programs that are trying to play some games this season. We saw babs and just play Castleton this past week. So for a lot of those guys there's taught. They're still trying to figure out what's going to happen with their current season. But off of that, one of the reasons why I wanted to have you come on the podcast is, of course, your role with the New England Hockey Journal, a partner of the League's. Can you kind of dive into more of what you do for them? Yeah, I go to a lot of the high school and prep school and Madrid Games around here and try to report on the players and shine some light on future future talent, whether that be for college hockey Nhl, and then just also, you know, provide some publicity for the high school and Prep School teams around here that and junior teams that could use some positive publicity. Obviously hockey's a bigger sport around here, but it's still meets a niche sport, you know, overall, and think anytime we can shine light and promote some of these great players we have in the region it's a great thing. You know, when you when you look at it, it's hockey really is the only sport around here that consistently produces a lot of you know, college, Big Time College and NHL players. Yeah, professional players. You know, you don't see that with NBA or NFL or Major League baseball from around here as much. Yeah, and off of that, I always see you posting pictures on twitter from a prep school game or high school game that you're at. And what I've noticed that's so unique about this season. Of course one big factor is the borders being closed up to Canada, but the influx of players coming back to the junior league's not just the EHL. It is almost overwhelming. But at the same time, throughout, you know, the majority of this season there was no prep school hockey, so we saw, you know, a bunch of players come to our league that I would think in a normal year probably wouldn't so like. For example, you look at a player like Matt Fosco and he's been at Dexter Southfield for three years now and or playing before this, and then he's got the chance to play eight games now in the ehl as a seventeen year old. Do you think after this season we're going to see more of this and how beneficial could this playing against older competition be for a player like Matt Fosco? I think it's very, very advantageous for Matt Fosco to play against older players. You know, I think it's a great opportunity for him and for any any player. There's quite a few younger players that are in various junior leagues around that country this year from prep that wouldn't normally be there and I think it's great that the EHL and other leagues of kind of taken taken a win. You know, I guess you know they're the prep school's loss is kind of the AHL's, you know, victory. You know they've been playing and they've you know, they've had some good players. I think I said the valley junior warriors play once or twice with Hayden Riva, who's a union commit from Berkshire, on the Raster. I haven't I saw them play back in I think December, him on the roster and see. I think it's a great thing for for all these junior leagues and I think it you know, hopefully, if you know the way I see it is the e ehl and the other the other junior league should really use this as a as a selling point to say, Hey, you know, we tried our best for the kids and you know, might have had some interstate bands, might have not been able to play all the teams we wanted to or might not have had showcases are all star Games, but we've done our best to get kids and on the ice and I think that's a that's a great advertising moment for the Ehl that they can say going...

...forward. And you bring up a couple great names there. I brought up Fasco, you bring up Riva. These younger players who most likely their path up to Division One will take them out less for either an NA or a USAHL team. What do you see the difference really being for them, going from playing prep against kids that are all their same age to maybe being a smaller guy and playing a kid that's got to be a division three player? But what do you see the big differences for them other than that size, when they when they come play in an EHL game? I think the the speed of junior hockey is the pace is is faster, even if the Ifew, if you watch just it goes up all the levels. If you watch a Bantam game between two really good teams, it doesn't look as fast as you know fifteen you game and you know eighteen you looks faster than that and then you go to you know, crap, same thing, and then junior it's faster, even even if the players and those younger games might be more, quote unquote, like elite players or more high end, it's still, you know, you what your junior game and just it come that you're a little faster. So I think, I think that's not sure if I'm totally answering question, but I think it's a it's it's a great, great thing for you know, those players to be able to think the game at a quicker pace because that you know, once you once you make that jump, you know, every level you jump, you gotta, you have to make those decisions just one second, two seconds faster than you than you did before. Yeah, it's getting it's a transition that I kind of wanted to get into because one thing that we always try and sell in the EHL is obviously with our league. Note out of every ten players becomes a division two or division three hockey player and of course when you're growing up and you're in the driveway, stick handling or whatever, shooting on a net, you have visions of Playing Division One, playing in the NHL and all that. But what we try and sell is that we have a very strong league as well and playing division two and playing division three hockey is really not that far off from Division One. And I want to bring up a tweet that you sent out right before the New Year. I'm just going to read it out a loud quickly. You wrote that one of the strangest phenomenons in hockey is how how many people get offended when I suggest a player will be a good fit for division three. It's hard to make a division one roster and there are plenty of division three colleges in the England that are great schools with good hockey teams. Can we talk about that some more and point out there's thirty over, thirty more now division two and division three schools, then Division One. Yeah, you know there's I think the point of my my tweet back done was to, you know, show people that there are good options, great options around here for Division for division three, and many of the division three schools around here are are terrific schools and you know, you go to a NESTKAC or a babs and or you know those are unbelievable schools. academically prepare you for your life ahead. And they also have good hockey. And I I don't know, I think there's a lot of reasons for people kind of snubbing their nose at division three and they think some of it has to do with how much money people pour into hockey. You know, money. Hockey's not a cheap sport to play and I think it's kind of a return on your investment. You know, like if you you played basketball or if you play soccer, you you pretty much just have to buy cleats or, you know, sneakers, depend depending on whatever it is. You know, and you know the it's just I think, you know, skates or six hundred, nine hundred dollars, now sticks or three hundred dollars. The it's just and then obviously the you have to pay to play club hockey growing up, and then, you know, junior hockey, unless you're lucky enough to play in the USA Gel or it's, you know, completely free. But you know, I just think that has a lot to do with it. But you know, I just think it's you know, I think it's great to have goals and, you know, aspire to be the best you can, but I also think it's important for parents and coaches and advisors to help those, you know, kids have realistic expectations. You know. I think if you if you realize that you're a good, hokey player and you you might get the chance to play division three, which very few people do, that's that's still a great accomplishment. But if you have this kind of vision goal of, you know, playing in the bean pot or bust, it's it's that...

...might when when you do skate for a Salem state or Norwich or school like that, it might not have the same amount of, you know, pride that it should. You know, you should feel a lot of pride to it's kind of a long one of the answer, but I think it's a topic that I'm really interested in because they, you know, like it's it's not easy to play from around here, and the hockey east rosters or are getting are having less and less players from here every year because they're they're finding kids from Finland or Sweden or Florida or places that Division One college hockey teams really didn't recruit from back in the S and S. and it sounds like the biggest thing that you're trying to say is makes sure that you look in the mirror. That's what I always tell players that I meet on the road because there are only so many options out there and at the end of your college career, whether it's northeastern or it's Norwich, you're going to most likely be twenty four, twenty five years old and maybe hockey is still an option for you, but most likely the odds say that it's not. What are you going to do at that point? And you pointed out a few schools in there when you mentioned Babson or any of the next netscack schools. academically, those, those schools and universities ravel anything across the country, right, and I for sure, for sure know you. I didn't mean that. I thought you you know, they're great schools and they I think it's also very important to say they have great hokey teams. And you know Mike McShane recently retired in Norwich and you know he was a great coach with a Division One background and they brought in came as or, if it was, one of the Best Division One assistants in the country. Jamie Rice is a great, great college coach at at Babson and I don't I don't think there's a person and in the college hockey that likes is likes isn't the right word, but feels them, you know, passionate and proud of his school the way you know Jamie, Jamie Rice doesn't. That's like, yeah, you know, great thing in my opinion, and I just brought up that sweek because I wanted to point out that you get five hundred lights for that. Sweet it really was something that I think exploded. Obviously you have a big following on twitter. I mentioned your twitter a few times throughout this podcast. There's been a few tweets that I've really stood out like that. But as time has progressed and you have this big falling, do you ever feel yourself getting ready to hit send on a suite and and think, should I really send this, or does that not cross your mind? Now it does. I've stopped myself a few times, but I think the you know, one thing I've always kind of taken pride in, as you know, being on you know, being true to myself. And you know I don't I don't want to be incendiary or you know I but I think sometimes it's important, you know, to be honest and shed some light and help people, you know, and obviously just about every topic out there, there's going to be people that agree with you and disagree with you. I don't it's not fun to have people disagree with you. I don't think anyone enjoys that or likes but I think, you know, I try to try to stick mostly to talking about hockey on twitter and you know, it's just there. There's some issues that I feel strongly about, like you said. You know, we've talked about it. I feel strongly that the the leagues and the You know, hockey associations can, you know, should and everything in general. I just hockey, but you know, school, basketball, soccer, art, whatever should. We should be giving these kids a chance to have is normal of a you know, doing it safely, like I'm not, you know, advocating for anything, you know, to be the wild wild west, but you know, I just that that's a topic. And then, you know, the some of the more hockey centric topics, like get kind of talked a lot about advisors and agents over the years and you know, I think the division three topic is a is an important one around here because I just think it it makes it makes it easier for kids to understand that. There it's still great if you if you make a division three roster and play division three and you know it's not. It's not be you or BC R bust. Well, between you and mark diver, I know that as this season has progressed, when there's been a rumor of some sorts going around about shutdown or you name it, I've gone to either yours or his twitter because I know the breaking news will be coming from you guys. So I appreciate that. Your twitter, of course, at Jeff Cox Sports. Make sure for those at home that are listening give you a follow and I really appreciate you. You coming on the podcast and hopefully we can do this again sometime soon when things are back to normal. Yeah, no, I really appreciate you...

...having me on and do it anytime. Thanks again to Jeff Cocks for coming on the podcast this week. As you heard me say at the end of the interview, when it comes to breaking hockey news in New England, I had to go to Jeff's twitter or mark divers twitter because it seems like they always have the information right there on the on their news feed. But with that, let's bring in the e crew. Got Now and guys, how's it going? It's going, you know. Let's go. And how's everyone else doing on this Wednesday evening at twelve pm? Are we're a roll? This is the third of the last fifth recording that we're airing or airing recording after nine pm. Yeah, it's it feels like it's two am for me personally, but you don't. That's all right, it's Wednesday. We're killing it. Yeah, you know, I think we're doing the best he can. We're always killing it. All four of us were all. Jeff, are you sitting at share right now? I am. Chry Scott, no, no, Kyle, you in a chair? I am. We're in our neural normal positions, are we not? And Brittany as in a bean bag with a pillow. Again, are we not in our normal positions? Weird. I got this five foot beat back for Christmas and, like all I swear to God, when I have like a few minutes to sit down at my apartment, which is not many, this is where I kid we found. I was saying, if Brittany's not the be bag, it's not business as usual. If no, it's not. So the question of my house, as we start to look ahead and I know that we're going to have to record one of these, probably from our hotel in Pennsylvania. Wait, that's gonna BE ICONIC. Are We gonna Strap the bean bag on top of the rental car? Dude, YA, backs coming to PA the be bag is going to Westchester. Can we make a video out of it and have fleetwood Mac in the background, like you can go, yeah, Oh goad that we're I just going to be leth. That is gonna yeah, you know what, it's not going to be as lt as my Saturday and Sunday. That sounds like a little longer ride, but hey, that's a story for another time. But before we get to the around the east show, I want to point out something that took place this past week that it's still surprises me, even though it shouldn't surprise me, and what I mean by that is the way that the hockey community can come together, like it shouldn't even surprise me anymore about how awesome it is. But we have a situation with one of our players in the League on team Maryland. His name is Tommy Donnelly. been there for I think this is a second year now with the program and his mom is actually also the billet coordinator for the organization and they had a huge fire in their house this past week. I'm sure you guys all saw the go fund me page out there and it's just like you click on the go fund me in the beginning and you're like, Oh, a thousand bucks, two Tho Bucks, and then like half a day goes by and all of a sudden now we're at almost thirty fivezeros and like it is. was, wasn't Tommy Donneley on the your you mean Evan, Evan donely? Yes, Right, Oh, what I said Tommy? I'm sorry. Yeah, I didn't want to. I know a Tommy donnally. I know what Tommy donnally. That's why. But with that, like you know, time. You know I'm trying to say, like yes, with the go fund me page, like you just it's just well, it shouldn't surprise me, like it's just cool to see it happen and happen as quickly as it did. And I know Robin Remix that the whole thing up. She's the president with the organization, does a bunch with both the EHL and the NA team, and we had a couple of emails go back and forth and she's like, you know, the one time you shared it made a huge difference. It's like, I hope it did, but like it. I think it's just overall, like everyone sharing it. It was all over twitter, it was all over instagram, and it wasn't just the league, it was all the players. It was so many players from other teams, also across the League, and it was and you think about the connection they have to Youngstown and the black parents too, and I saw a bunch of I saw the young stung phantoms posted to so it's like not even just like you said, our hourly, but spreading it across the community as well. Yeah, then we guys can see that, right. I mean we can will continue to keep on sharing. Yeah, did you? Did you see the picture? Yes, I did. That was like, Whoa like, I couldn't even imagine. It took scary. It's really scary. So it's all cool that we've now brought the Sardinia to cut you off, but like it's we've mentioned this. I mean we've had a few tragedies this year, sadly, when we had the pageants and earlier this year, and it was the same, same thing Brian page. Yeah, it's just it really is very cool to see that, like you're saying, the hockey community is very...

...tight and while all these coaches go at each other's throats, their competitors on the ice and in the locker rooms, when it comes to something like this everybody becomes one again, you know, and we're at that point of the year where everyone's trying to go for each other's throats. It's down to crunch time for frozen finals time. Yeah, you have something like this and people realize we have a lot of good humans in this league and it's a very comforting thing to see, because in two thousand and twenty one there's a lot of not so great humans out there, but we have a surplus of those in the league and that's just a really comforting thing is someone that works with this league to see, and, like you said, it's a family that really needs help and they're getting help. So it's just an awesome thing to see and just kind of leaves you speechless at times and I'm sure they would trade all of that money for the event and ever happened, like the same of Brian Page, trade all that money for that moment. Never happened in his life. But you know, people are still donating to Brian Page, right, we have. You seen the go fund me? It's said three hundred and twenty fivezero dollars like that's just simply like out of this world. So bills. Yeah, I know exactly exactly. But with that, let's start making our way around the east show. It's time for this week segment of around the show. And around the show was brought to you by the junior hockey podcast, your home for junior hockey news, knowledge and nonsense. Check them out at tjh podcastcom. So do we want to just jump right in with the WHO are the plank question? Yeah, well, who are favorites? Who wants the WHO is the subject of the week? That's true, the chiefs. HMM, that question has been brought up before. I okay, what's the way backs? The Wizards? The wizard, the WHIZZI's? Who Was it again? I have oh, or the WIZZI's. The WIZZI's are the second half team of the decade. Just lost their most recent match, but against against the chiefs, right, I guess. And let's seven, three in the last ten. Yeah, and when I was calling that lost to the chiefs. I know that she's have thirty points the time with this recording, but at the time of that game they had twenty six. So Wizards and Seahawks each had twenty seven, chiefs and railers each had twenty six. And like they're going to all play each other right, like obviously the warriors. We have to mention Britty. You want to give it to him, Andrew? Yes, I like to congratulate Andrew, Andrew Cob list on coach of the week. The cold. God, I was gonna say coy. That's coach of the year. The Cow. Oh my God, truth, the cow, where he's gonna be Piss Hey, Andrea, was suck. Congratulations on being the cow of the week. Are you go? Double a's? I don't want to. Don't want to sound like the warriors are locked in the seven. Obviously they have some work to do to move out of seven, but that team has a win over the Rangers, the Express and the avalanche the season. Okay, they're like I obviously it was there on Sunday. shocker. I was at the Bickit for a Bjo home game. WHOULDA thought. But like they're, I know, shocking. Their record truly does not reflect away that they play like they are just like a hard team to play against, like they're like little little rascals. I don't know. Now I know I actually anchory. Why are you calling me on the phone? Why are you calling me on the phone? I'm literally not look it. Look at look. Literally, rapping is calling me, you know, calling me. Call me where. I'm just me deal. Rather, we're trying to record a podcast. Can you do it again? Are these people? And my like my fans are crazy. My fans are insane. Stop calling me Paparazzi. And that's tough. It's a tough job be but someone's kind to do a kid. Did I know? We make it and you tick tock for Britt with Lady Gaga Paparazzi as the song. WHO. Yeah, just are you that? I wish I it. I need to like make another tick tock account or I should try to beat tick tock famous. Right now my tick tock account is just me act like a moron. It's on private, but maybe I could get tick tock famous. All right, anyways, let's do that's that's what's back, Lady Gaga, but that's like we're in college then when that was calling on dude jam and like seventh grade. Like seventh grade we are like dancing around a Papparazzi, like school dances, that's say we were in college and pretty was a got dance. Hey, a bad ron. It's we're all bad romances at the time, you know. ANYWAYS, back back bad you, the central division. Okay, started calling me all. Stop calling it literally said that you were calling me once, that you were calling me so again, Paparazzi relacks. I get it, my fans. I need to provide for my fans, but now is not the time. It's like going back to the central division conversation. Britt I had that conversation with Ryan Andrew when I called that...

...last wizards game to fill in for Neal, and I said that was like who are you got? Like you got all your you guys away of eight or at the time they had six woods or seven wins, either way, like we had just mentioned it. Ne'll just broke it down. Every time you win you're beating a top five team in the league. Right. It's like. So you hang with your own talk about the playoffs. Guys, Columbus Boolah gets what two thousand and nineteen EP, Squitteriri, block your ear, sir, ships going down, but it's it's we're this is a good lead, dude. Why you just leave me a voicemail. What are you doing at that? I'm not even joking talking. I have a few. Six it right, everybody. So, I don't know if anybody has heard I say this before, but there's a ghost on this podcast and it's that's not damn back dude. I have a twenty two second voicemail from meal. Wait, he's gonna voicemail from you. Wait, click it. We pipe down for a moment. Okay, I want to talk about the central division, guys, and then nothing's on. All right, there's a here. Talk about someone else other than the range. Oh my God, I feel victim. All right, easing the rangers. I will say this anyway. will say my Brits Commits with Nathan Young on Friday from BJ are. Well, I have had people who baby asked me if the in the past that they could guess the meeting ID and hack their way into the podcast. I was like, that would be pretty impressive if you found a way to do all that, but that would be wild. Yes, six of the guys anyone could to mind the password to my zoo as we ate. Okay, so we're so off topic and I'm going to get a more off topic one more time and then we're going to get back to topic. Guys, do you trains De realed go? Well, yeah, so we're going a little bit further off off trail, off track, but then we're going to come back. Last year you gave me such a hard time for a saying of mine and then it happened this past week. It was legit pouring story, the other it was pouring snow and, like I said, deal, I am not lying. I said that exact thing to someone else said it was like we're gonna get a ton of snow. It's gonna WE'RE gonna get a pouring about snow, and I was yes, Oh my God, it's what did you do to the so funny, so rob stuff? So now back to the central as we were trying to get at, and Jeff aluted too before. We're closing closer and closer. We're in February, which is just bananas right, and it's time ago suit shopping. You seriously, my God, it's the most times to go west Chester PA shopping and right now, if the playoffs started today, the Rangers would have the buy in the division. I think we all feel comfortable with saying that's going to happen, especially with the Games in the hand that they have on Wallpole. Walpole would her games the point, but they are. They have games in hand. Beating that. They have more though. They have more games to play than Walpole has to play. Even if Wallpole wins out, it's like the Rangers can win out. It just it's yeah, right, fonds are in in the bix favor. Yeah, so the ranges are played thirty games. Wobbles played twenty nine. I think so, or maybe thirty after today, for if the check on that. But my point being the ranches are not. Are the one get a buy. It would be express versus warriors, the to seven matchup, the three six would be chiefs versus railers, and the four five same matchup as last year. was its Seahawk is he's and Jack Johanson talked like let's go, Captain Jack, let's go buddy did Captain Jack Tucked heavy and I was actually a sick goal. So that could change right. I think what's interesting is, like you look at this, at the standings right now. Rangers obviously one game winning streak, one eight of their last ten, and then whole cluster. Yeah, Wallpole on hundred and four straight, eight of last ten, chiefs only of one for the last but one two straight. Then everybody else is on a quote unquote losing streak. So it's like the up and downs of that division. And obviously, I know I've tried to bring up in this podcast. You don't want to nest. Well, no, I'm talking more about figuring out who your match up is, because I just think it's so weird how some of these teams just play so much different against others. Like I started to say before, the warriors were the win against the Rangers, Express and avalanche. Can The warriors then win that playoff stars against the express? Oh God, Jes and Brow Buck,...

...are your belts? It's it has a matchup thing flying box everywhere bad does me flag pox out of the sky if that happened. Do you want to talk about the North Pretty? Oh, not really, but okay, all right, I get I got a question. I'm actually I am kidding. I have a comment. I like Wall Paul for some reason. Obviously boasting it. Look, we can't talk enough about Boston. Their deep we get out. I'm trying to figure out how I would spell wall pole based on the way that you say it. I really okay, it's okay. I give me fun of you. How you WL so, yeah, Paul, you Alpa ul wall so. The seahawks. The seahawks seem to just wake up and play everyone hard and I've talked to other coaches around the league and they agree. For some reason the seahawks or a tough team to beat and I feel like when it matters most, I'm curious about them. I'm not questioning you guys, I'm putting on the table. I'm stealing Neil Raven spot as host the seahawks in the central I don't know. They're just they're not consistent. Sorry, if twenty seven points, if they win, they could be in third place. Right. That's what I'm saying, but they're just not consistent. If they're more consistent, being more confident about that statement, but it's the one day one goalie is hot, the next game they're not. So no paint and is not consistent. I said some goalies. I didn't use this specific name because they didn't want to bash that. The buy me four once in my life, so I will clean the baby. You don't want to bash anyone. I mean no, I I'm not gonna saying this is getting home heavy earlier, for we move on from the center to the north. Actually, I changed let's go to the door flat. Last that playoff series last year. We all have recognized that bills anibonious just one of our favorite human beings real, even though I followed me on twitter. Bill, you fraud. Wow. Well, that's because that's because your roster has somebody rangers. We're going to get to that. We're going to get to that, because you actually cut a lot of rangers off your roster. But but bill gave me one of my favorite playoff moments ever because last season against the wizards, they actually earn their first ever playoff winen franchise history. And so can that in that series the road team won all three games. So the wizards won on the road and the seahawks one on the road and the wizards were one on the road. That's how the season series ended. In the game at the edge, the seahawks one in overtime and Jeff prior to the game winner being scored. There was a shot that like rock the crossbar, like right off the front of the Bar, and like mastery Alaska. Yeah, it was like a hard shot, one out the other side and like Jeff knows where I stand. I'm on the other end, away from the the furthest bench, away is the visiting bench. Acts like I have been been to the edge nine hundred times. All right, word, we gotta get you up to the podium, though, Bru think by moving. No, no, but like bill gets up on the on the bench and he's like that one adds that one Adad. That was like go, that's that good. Go. You gotta count that. And like play continues right, there's like no whistle and then like a minute later they score. And then afterwards, I go, Bill, I'm a I'm a long distance away. That didn't go in. He goes, he goes, I don't. Didn't go in. I go. What were you doing then? Well, I was getting, I was I was getting in the goalie's head. Do because he know, because he was a goalie, he was a visual Wilton there for all you hold the Doo but yow correct right, eating is a player. That's what he said, he is very smarts. He goes. I was just yelling it as long as I could because I knew we could hear me and I was just putting that would a been a doubt in this head. Did that go in? Did that not go and then awesome is loud to he demands and loud. That's what bigger Rattleton if that round the goalie the slightest bit and took his attention off. He's like, oh no, did it go in? And then he just starts thinking and then next you know, slapshotscard. Yes, YEP, so that with that shifting weed scamp it. It was wild, awesome. One my favorite, one of my favorite stories, because bill's the best. Right well, but later shifting up north. What? What do you want to point out, Brittie? I kind of mess with Jimmy and the Jack's low lucky message in the Jacks. I don't gonna run. Well, this one is one of the few times that, Brittant, I will agree right there with you. Yes, you know, I'm a fan of the Jacks. All fine. Least Niel's laughing because he gets what I'm trying to find. Are You Jack Pretty you jacked up you're not fed. No, no, no, if it's last year, I'd be jacked up. This is nothing. You know what, gonna Check your pulse. Popin Lee's. Will Get to you in a minute, my guy. I also want a big point, guy, but go off, Carnaggi King Love them Monday. Good Kid, great kid.

Yeah, I don't know. I just don't do not a big not a big point, guy. Not. Wait now, that's actually so rude. A minute called, though. Maybe those of mean. Wait, my boy, David Radu opinions knows. To the point that I wanted to bring up is obviously in the central. I think there's so many teams that you really can't juggle where you want to be in the standings. Right, if you're in the north, I think that you guys could agree with me right now. Well, it's anyone's game. But yeah, we're not going to be the one seed right, all right, I need to look at bobs. Yeah, just look kind of that same sixteen, sixteen point lead. I haven't looked at the say anything that hot. Yeah, but you know the Jimmy and the Jacks. Jimmy, it's Dylan Infantino. Carnaki and the Jacks are like two hattings compared to them. Okay, well, so it's a it's a twenty three point lead over the Jacks. No, but I'm saying like they don't have it. They have eightyzero games more. Yeah, let's go put. The point is you still have to go on an absolute heater in the final month, most likely. You know what, maybe the almost etl to us. They're gonna have to play New Hampshire as well. That's what that's what I'm trying to say is like the lumber like the other three teams right now, are fighting to get out of the four seat. You have to be because you want to avoid playing the avalanche in that Verse Round and within Your Division and then give yourself a chance to knock off. I think we can kind of agree that the avalanche still are the top team and the wolves, the spartans in the lumberjacks are all kind of the same. Yeah, like I feel like if, when those three play, Neil and I pick who's going to win every game, breaking news, but I like have to tell my bro I have no idea. Canny have the time. I'm like, Um, there's a tick tock right now. You guys wouldn't get it, but it's like that, you know, the Mario Kart sound when you guys like hit the thing, the box and then it spins and it's like d come on, Anyone, oh, yeah, yeah, and like people do on Tick Tock, and it's like that exactly. I want to use this I'm thing, but like that's me. What I'm trying to pick. The games like that sound is like playing my head and I'm like the seekers Fartons of the day like great, I'm like, I have no glue, like wolves. You really think it's clear? It's clear and cut. It's the APPS. Now I'm I'm not sold and I'm not trying to be disrespectful. I've been saying this for weeks now. We can go back on the podcast. There's something weird in the north, and this is before the lumberjack seem started playing, and I mean Brittany said it, Meek Mills. Something's going on there in the north. Yeah, by water to weird up there. My point is not for theextest to be there for the APPS. You're right, it's not raving. You're correct. Yeah, I'm not. I'm not saying that they're going to win it automatically. I'm saying the other teams are trying to avoid playing them for as long as they have to. If you're I disagree. If you're the waves, you'd rather play the evident first. Like all the best gring team in the North has beat them. I don't think they fear them like they used to. I think think times have changed. They don't be here, but I don't think you're desiring to play them. Is what I wouldn't in the north it's a toss up. I don't think you go into any matchup. It's like, I don't care who you play. I can't wait to see Kyle's North Division playoff bracket. So so remember for Kyle to know with the fantast here, that's when the fit with the fantasy. We obviously have the points that we're going to still a crew at that time, but we're also going to have like bonus points. So like if you say that the Wolves beat the avalanche the playoff serious and three games, you get bonus points towards towards you. The total got one. That was yeah, that was insane, that was fun, and so you have a month to think about that. But then shifting down south, was it this time last week. No, I think it was after recorded last week sevens had not clinched. Yes, it was Friday. It was Friday when they knocked off the apple core clinch the number one seed already locked in, already done, and now their their focus is on the regular season title, which let's let's begin. Let's begin the debates of the night. The regular season champion has never won the playoff championship in the Eh shells. So do you want to change history or avoid history right now, and I took got that on. I talk with that with I can't speak. I talked about this with younger on Brits commit because I was talking about how dare like one point off from each other, like in the standings, bjr in roll sevens. So now like that. Don't do I don't think either teams scared that. I don't think either team, knowing coach Uli and coach DiCaprio, and yeah, I don't think we're just everything laughing out. He said, yeah, he's because last year he tried to write the...

...shame. He's doesn't work to good, finish the job. He's his business with with that said, Jeff, last season when I was when I presented the regular season championship trophy to the Boston Junior Rangers. They all ran for touch. Don't tell they all got in a little like pile in the middle of the room and they said it to respect. If you just was free covid folks, you just put it down right here. We're not going to touch it. And then like they all they took the picture and they all like backed away. I was like, okay, I'll take it back now. Like it's just like you do when you win the eastern to the Western Conference. You don't touch that, you touch Lord Stanley. That's awesome. Actually rappy. Should retweet that now. Is a throwback. So it'll be interesting to watch after the eighty seven's down there. I think it's turning into I know Kyle does. He have the protect hot on? Still no a chance for the red sox. Hat N. he's not going to love this, but I think it is turning into a battle between Marilyn and the little fires. For that second see it in the second playoff. Marilyn pulling away, though. Huh Yeah, my boy Helen Cooks did. How are you, Brits Goods Crazy Ritz commence secondent. Now gonna you know what is somebody we missed out on fantasy. I wish I took that kid now and he tells me all time no one has to be on there're fantasy, and I'm like, yeah, no, we couldn't pick him, though, bright at the time. Oh, we could have, when we redid our stuff, remember will, we could trade out our people for whoever the heck we wanted to. Yeah, he's what I wish I could have freaking dished into my mind. I know, I'm just doing okay, you're doing all right there. One of the best interviews of the year, in my opinion, was, yeah, Brita's commits with with young Halen Cookson. I enjoy that interview. You guys listen to it. The young guy from California haven't yet jack. He's over there. You're fake, I so I'll see. It was an awesome interview. But anyways, team Maryland in my opinion, center Ravin. I feel like they're going to pull away with this one. After I was pulling for a Connecticut early in the year and then I was like a little flyers Mikey when he come e GM pop, all of a sudden it's team Maryland. Boom so tmd for life is on fire. I need a point out two things about the comments that were just made by the crew. First, hailing COOKSTON. When you go back from November to December, right, and you look at that period of eleven games, he only tallied, the only talied seven points in that time. So great, but look how look at him since bro well, that's what I'm getting at. We it didn't spark any of us to pick him in January, because then January comes around, he gets a point in every single game, right, and he tally's quick math. heres fifteen points in the in the seven. Totally it's doubled. Wow, he would what he did, though, right, because he has thirty points. He doubled his point production in one month. And then, I'm not sure if you guys saw this, so my stars of the month either starts the month of stars of the week. I pointed out four team, Maryland. We're hyping hailing COOKSTON, and he deserves it all right. He's been a great addition to that team this season. As a two thousand, he's one of three players on that team with the exactly thirty points. Yeah, him, it's him, Dennis and Maurie Spence and Vincamari Blaba. I have no idea actually career. Right, bobby guy and I are so three guys right there. They have a combined ninety points. We write their team like low key's on they are. Oh No, what fuss goes up to die? I'm in last place for fantasy. I'm just saying I got some boys. Well, it gets better, though, right. Three players combined for ninety points, also combined for thirty four total penny minutes. Three play lady. We love being like the box. Yes, I wonder who just said leave that? Who just said Lady Bing, because that's what we typically have called rich the past few years. I Sir, what that mean? Ladies going meals race his hand. I don't get it. So always little lady being award in the NHL is giving out to the team of the best sportsmanship. So the joke am on some no wonder why. I don't know what it is. The joke of my ehl coaches is that the ehl should have a lady bang for the least penalized team in the league. Who is it? Right, we should? Isn't. Who is it right now? Yeah, I mean I'm gonna GO ABS by one peny minute. They are in second to last. Okay, so you know what. Compared to before, though, they've been very good. Yes, it's because Tim Cronin's one of our teaming. My God, who is it? The protect ducks? Who? And and you know where. Corey feldy is not out followed and Freddie Myers path handled the minutes. We're all that team loves it and they love it. Oh, I got just to know. What...

...have I done? Three Games, fielder for you new yes, free, just as three games we had a minute. Jacks have the Jackson. They have mad minutes in like two games, their fifth. Oh well, they had that game. That many games, so that I came back. Get back to November. Either way, boy PROTEC, who is the most goals pre game? I think it's for our take his rank fourth goals per game. It's Kinda work. Yeah, talking about quack, but I need to leave the chaps I have have exited the trash. So with this, though, it's actually a great transition because I'm going to start bringing a new debate with me to each episode of the podcast. We started to talking about this days. I wot a little been the group text. So I'm going to have three player comparisons for you for this first debate. Okay, go, I want to go first. Okay, I know, I thought there was just just for Brittany. No, this is this is for the whole group, but I know that she's going to talk first soon as I say it, so don't say the one that I said in the tag to know. That's so scus. We're doing New England wolves. If you had to play a playoff game today and you had you can only pick one guy to be in your gonna say? You'RE gonna say DJ Schwank or Donnie Feltman, donty Feldman for the wind. Dude, I literally read your mind. It's stupid. It's DJ swanky. We used to call him swank when he first got into the League and he loved you know what Damn that was like. That was my question. But right, obviously I know I can read your mind. I'm going fouls, but that's because you know he's only Kay, like low key, same, like Duh Dahnny clutches, what his nicknames? You'ld be like, oh no, like that boy knows when to go off and it's most of the damn time. So I'm going Donnie Feldman. The kid is a beast, he's a train. He's so excited to see where he goes to school, where its commits. Donny Feldman, you're not much of a Talker, but get YAPP and buddy, he's so bunny. He is so quiet. It's your dog. Okay. So, so the group seems to be leaning towards Feldman over Swanky, and that could go to Lenski's to know a great player. Britts, godheads, that's one second way. Wait. What's your answer, though, Feldman? I've been I've been very ill. Don't even know who DJ Schwank is. Donny, well, you know. You know, Brittie. To call me out on this is little like. Listen, I'm just saying. I've seen the kid play with the leak since September and he hasn't been able to come up north because of covid protocols. Swank, Bro I said, Schwank, not as all right. Anyways, I agree Brag I'm team Brittany. I mean I agree with Bernie. Most people are not. So that Austin Junior Rangers. Oh, I hate this already. Freak billion I bird, billy, Gerardo, Nathan Miller, Miller, billy jewelry, billy baby blieve likely was a beast. Yeah, billy is a damn you are to love Thomas folcoon. He's a Florida kid from the Floida Panthers. That was when we are all two of those interviews. That was a blad fact, a cool was wacky. I have to billy for sure. So Story to Thomas Folks. So Billy Gerard, of course, played one real year as the full starter for the Rangers. The first year he kind of came in about halfway through. Ultimately he sits six all the time in the league and went to the forty two. He was unbelievable. We want to see his playoff run. That was going to be last year. He was gonna yeah, and let's suck billers though, which it is. Miller found this out from now gap right, funny, not parent the Season Rights Miller in parenthesis. He did that the other day and I was like now the scratch is told me that like way back in the fall through. Really, that's squad. Yes, scratch, Wad that Bejaz a leach bud? So he's seventeen. Want to know he has the most real less seventeen he has the best goals against average in the league at Brix one's a la safe percentage. I gotta short this. Nine no ndred and fifty now and three shutouts. It's the only category he doesn't lead in, where he's tied for with George, with Michael. You stayed, you say, Gerard. I think maybe in a year from now, if Miller still here, maybe a tea one. Yes, he's an ally. I think you should check the stats. Is that real? Yes, he's an all. Why you share parity, quote unquote, is different nowadays and right. That's what I'm saying. Like last year, like you can play, who he heap, like Gerard played the APPs ninety time. Not Ninety Times, but like a handful, like, I don't know, I you know. I mean she make Mathan Miller my goalie for fantasy, and am I gonna literally pull for him the whole playoffs? Yeah, sir, you know that's...

...the fact. But if I had billy Gerard, am I to meet you? So I still go billy. But yeah, me too. anyways. Next, hilly, last one. I like these questions. Do good job. Last last last one of the week that we go to fantasy. Am going first again. KNADIC rough riders are pretty want to know Andrew Bella or Colin Bella? Colin, how can you jump and say that so fast? Andrew sort loved ry goals last year. Yeah, because because he was like, I don't know, like if I if I wanted to go watch a rough riders game, like, Oh my God, that kid let it up like he was Gross Manhattan, Bille M Bill, get up, valiance, I don't know. Said Own. You meant Andrew, then the older brother. Oh what I think I said Andrew the first time. The callin is the one that's still playing and a still play. said it. I said my correct answer initially, but then I screwed up. So Andrew Bella, I think, played two seasons with the rough riders. Yeah, you're and the end thouns right, and the second year he put up forty goals, which, while we're those, last year. Yeah, that was last year. Speaking of records, forty goals ranks third all time for a single regular season. Yeah, like hound person at handle present, Joyce Bell for most goals in the season. No, that was wait, wait, that was more of a sir, I have a guess. After Brittany, okay, can I get in these first and on this I got a name before brings not even a team. Not even a team. I want to hint up the conference please. So that's the tie. There's two players that have hit forty three and this one that's hit forty. Well, okay, Logan. No, Logan was a biggest DIS guy. Damn, I hate it. Here we can I pull like the way back machine, some bear Rabolhata for the win, where was totally missing all these about. I feel like I just wanted to. I don't want to say this name, for that was one. That's one. That's and a year. We actually missed about three weeks from the shoulder injury too. It was hide. He's tied with a former MVP. All right. So I just wanted to say this name because I remember this kid from I think two thousand and thirteen on to mere Ponto's ogre bled big speticide do. But what I was him deal state. You made you. Let's go point your name with the Perez, Perez, an ochre bled of these. So can a conference please? So Alex Ocer, back one season hit forty three goals and the other player did it from the other conference and his team wore a lot of the colors that Jeff is wearing right now. What was that kids name? What was that kids name? Bro Devan Pan z Ga Yo wa, he scored forty three goals in a season. Devin pisamber. Rookie of the year that year was Dylan all right, Dylan show wood, Dylan pin sweat. So just to put a ball on the Bella versus Bella debase is because we got there. Sorry to headphone users. I Have Colin Bellow. Of course, played with his brother last season. Put Up thirty seven points in forty four total games. Missed some time this season due to injury, but he's already got thirty five and twenty one this year. So He's gonna put out. He's gonna put up more this season than last season. Can He score twenty one goals in the final month of the year to tie his brother? See still in college? Hope so. Twenty one goals would be a month to remember. But he is only an old one. So I'd love to see him come back for one more maybe full season next year, and then in that full season maybe we could have a another bella versus Bella debate when he puts up forty one goals to Andrews forty and surpasses him in the EHL record books. Then we have next season where showcases come back, figures crossed and we can see everybody, see all these teams again. It's happening. But with that, let's now transition in the fantasy because, guys, it's February, which means we trimmed our rosters. Before we wrap things up, here's what to watch more this week in the east show. Everybody, get ready, it's time for the e group fantasy challenge. Brought you bibratochos brick ven pizza, and pass up your home for authentic Italian dishes catering in group dining. Check out their party pizzas and specials. Apper two sheets. Calm, fire me up, folks, let's go. Wow, really was one of your best reads. Kids. Look at you, I know business. See who I was not embodying him. There was onsuly. It takes our good ten twenty seconds together. So see, that's who early. Only one thing that was wrong with that. When we recorded your read, you did me a nice favorite. You took a nice pause. There is find I can go find it in the file. There was no pause and that one I wait to do. So...

I'll blazing. I'll go through fancy the way that we have each week. So pretty leads the way at eight hundred and eighty three points. Two points was dumb, stupid. Yes, sir, fake, yea, it happens. I have an eight hundred and forty five. Jess has eight hundred and five point four in Kyle has hiding six. They're all the eight hundred clock Kyles. So the six hundred glof so come on. Brother asked for this past week, though, Kyle put up fifty six of this past week Jeff had. Sorry, Jeff was second, so we'll go to third this past week, which was Brittany at ninety seven point two. Tough thing for the boys, uses Jeff at one hundred and two and myself at one hundred and twenty two point eight. So, yeah, I spoorteen goals, forteen to blush. Hey, how are you? Yes, so let's go through. Let's go through Brittany's roster first, and obviously we we go from from top of the standings down to the bottom and we have to trim twelve eight hundred and four, at twelve eighty three down to six hundred and forty two. It's stressful and, to Brittany's credit, I'll count for you right now. We caught one, two, three for Rangers. So it wasn't pretty well, it wasn't as high as I thought it was, but it's still for. It's still for. I like low keys are heard it, all right. So do you want me to go through my people? Yes, okay. So that forward, my six, forward, Ka Suda, buddy, step it up. Lately, s's a weak and points. Okay, but if you look at this point totals lately compared to what they used to be, wake up there. She's right safe. It's different guys getting on the score sheet, for Frank Having said Adam, sit them down. Stop being rude. That's not a bad thing, though. Stop being horrible for me. Let's go St Paul. Finally, my guy. Thank you for the kind message. He's absolute sweetheart and like thank me for picking him, like, oh my gosh, couldn't be nice air. Next up, I'M gonna go. I'll city big one. No, no, next up, records. Jaleon S KI's great work so far, buddy. All right, continuing now. This was the hardest decision here, friend, I had to. I have to figure out my BGR forwards. And you know what this this was our this is like, yes, it literally is. So who. I'm sorry, little while to go back to school. Literally so who. I wound up going with. The boards are going to be pissed. First up the King Andy Bore, absolute weapon. Love them o. Then we go amore. Then we got j more, because I can't, you can't get well with them the other then I had to go jack more. That was for you, all right. Anyways, moving on, undy will keep with the bjr theme. Jake with chance, kid just got idea the week. Not a big deal. George Weenerd of the month, single handy. I actually won't finish that sentence. congrats on the mid to Wentworth. I might have had it. I might have singlehanded. They got that commit done myself. Not a big deal. It's fine, all right. Then we get the Whiz kids, Jack Johansson, Papa, I don't know. Good deep are put up points, go off kings and go I'l Jane All. He's on the rebound. Loss to day, but that's how that's all. And then we got Nathan Mueller Miller. I did I you know, I didn't pick him for overall B Jr, Billy Gerard, Blah, Blah Blah, but that's why there. Okay, so that's that's her team. It's the greatest team of all time, gods and and what will be interest in the sea and what myself, Jeff and kyle or pulling for is players named Connor Bizal, Joey Schaefer and Nick Laud Vala. Have your way with the month of February, because those points don't have. Dude, my decor into all compared to all of yours. Like my key cars nasty compared to you know, what's pretty filthy to I don't know, House. It d nasty little, but like my decor is like has like the top scoring dean the League. Yeah, Dude, Papa, Papa has been on fire, Dude Jack, but on fine, George so jack. Yeah, like don't like Papa. We were all like chewing on him and then we're like, oh, yeah, bre you can take him. I'm pissed that we did that, because he's bad. Light Up. WHO's the highest seat scorer in the League? That the way I just thought it was. I'm like a moron. I'm doing it right now. So Everyone Your Papa? No one is George wheener? Yeah, who was Jack Johanson when my juice team weener? Three, is Zach Popa Petros on my team? All right, words, yeah, shut up, every one, two, three, literally, yeah, for for is still in Goodierrez. That's Kyle's team, right, but...

...also jake la chance did not start the year at B Jr, but since he's come, yes, sir. All right, anyways, let's move on to whoever since second? Okay, that would be next. I had the best week of anyone. Wait, the way she chirps all those boys. We don't deserve this point. Now we're like, I don't even want to play for my fantasy team. Let's just make sure a brainy losers know, I guarantee you. All the podcast listeners like, can this girl just stop? I mean like Boston people are like yeah, let's go, and everyone else is like no, like let's root for me. I know, I know that he's a roof on me to be listening to the podcast and he's gonna listen to Neil and he's gonna be like, I can't believe this broad cut me from her team. So this is with that. It's part of the reason why I had the most points this past week of the four of us was because of two players. Yeah, breath in, patrician. No, want a Tara? Oh No, I think. Sorry, you can, Smit and David Reduci, who got me a boatload of bonus points. Plus Egan smitt literally scored all four goals. Yeah, one game for the for the Lumber Jackson, easy. Yeah, Jimman, the Jacks. So twenty eight points from each of them this past week. Oh Damn, that was a good team that I helped you pick out the second. So now my team. I had an easy time with the first couple guys that eat position, so immediately I grabbed, or I keep in Patricia, Dante Tarrimany, Zack Simon and Egan Schmidt. Lean hard towards Michael Kar Ducey's had a great season and they have a lot of games to play this upcoming month. And then I was kind of on the friends between a Psalm glaw and Ryan terst. But it's the extra power played time for Urst and I think helped me a little bit. And and while Brittany won't give me credit for Paul Finmalis helping her with that one, I have to give her credit with for her, with her out, having me help with ters. So that's my urs, fans, that's that's my six forwards, my d which clearly, I guess, or not as good as Brittany's forty. But I think, although I did donate one of them to you. So do date Benson was all me bro like. I don't. He was never on your at John, but I donated my knowledge of him. I donated what's in my I hope he listens this and says I got donated. Oh my God right, it's gonna be rattle city. I call them a donation. My for Dr Rory Gresham. Keep an eye on him. He's been planned very well. As of weight for team Maryland, Todd, Philip Burt, but a great addition for the express in the second, second half. Jagger Benson, obviously big fan of what he's done for the railers, and Decklin Broughte. Solid three assist day today for the chiefs, who have been playing power play. Go to Yep and the she's, who've been playing JP MELA A lot. So I keep Mela and I keep David Reducey. And, just so Brittany can hear me say it, I had a very long winded conversation with, according to her, my best friend Cody Katy Campbell, about about what to do between reduce e Mela and Eric Buckholtz, and I'm this is good for me. To me, let's trains going. I know this's for a trains going, True Che. So I'm going. I'm going based a lot off the number of matchups down the stretch, and a goalie can get hot in the playoffs and you may change your mind right like I think I forget what year was, but the Seahawks, I think it may have been last year or two years ago, like Tristan Hadley was there a guy and then another goal we got hot and it kind of flipped in the postseason. I guess I'm leaning towards most likely Mason Palmer being the guy for the express and knowing that, in the same token, the juicy and Meller or the guy for their team, and I really don't know which one I'm going to pick when all of a sudden, done for the month of March. I have a I have a month to figure that out. So with that call, though, yeah, let's transition to Jeff's team now, and Jeff, you had a better week this past week. Get a hundred and two points, obviously a big win for McMichael in there over a top five team. Which one was that? That was a lumberjacks when I think, or a spartan twin. That's what it was. And we mentioned Donny Feldman. Like it just feels like every week for you, Jeff, it's like Chocoup Chocop, four goals, hey hands. I should pay him. So you should cut him a check on come something. How did you? How did you trim down to your six, four two? I need to like look at who you're old forwards works and yeah, this is like this fished. I was gonna say. So I'm looking at my spreadsheet that neil kindly put out to this. I wish. The only thing I wish was like I wish we could have seen how many everybody had, like everybody's totals since we've had them. I could have done that if I'd added everything up, but I did not have the tough to do that. So you just kind of run Crow Parker...

Sondagg. I did cut Parker SONDAGG. Are you one drugs curious? Well, pretty I I can tell you why you cut Parker's son. I had a lot of really hard cuts. Another one that I cut. I don't want to what am I going back to? was these country you? Yeah, you, you cut step stuff. I cuz I'm actually like pissed at you for these kids. What the heck? All right, the word keep going with who you cut? Oh my God, that's I do. I keep going who I catt, then say who I am. Appall all that, who you? But I wasn't easy. I literally was like having a hard palmatations because I was like one, I like these kids, like step, I just talked to the other day. Now we're going to go see him's like thanks, D bag, like do you like love the apple car like Christ so. But, like Neil said, do they play fourteen games? Fourteen I unfortunately I did not select any hand on the core shine Roskowski, Roskowski and Calindon have been lights out. Roskowski's got I think fifteen points and he's only played ten games, so I had to pick him with fourteen games. Calndan is also up there. He's got a think twenty seven. They're close to thirty points. Big Power play. Both of them are big power play guys, so I had to pick both of them with the with the fourteen games. The one really tough decision my last forwards. Actually, let me bring up my entire so so, Roskowski, Calnden, Felton, we already talked about the house. The easy one, I was like up, Donny said it and forget it. Ye, set it really was. Also set up. Forget it. Yeah, I was getting there, Britney, I was getting there. I watter, me and Riley, balley. We're talking about how you love him today. Oh my God, who's that made? Bride Bailey? Oh, but how much I love him. Yeah, Oh, good. Is Ryan Okay with that? Yeah, you knows. You're a big Fan. Good, I'll see you Friday ride. I'll say hello at the bick. So then Dick, I don forty five. I have face off Rangers. So maybe I'm not get up. Get up, let finish his team. I'm sorry. The other easy one was a Rendzamakleen, my other boy. He's filthy, puts up millions of goals. And then so the last horrors, the biggest one. I have the toughest decision with. I was going back and forth between my boy cookie, Marcus Cook has been great all season long. been was has been really hot at certain stretches, creeping up on forty points. He's got what saw speed last game out a big new nice. Wait, excuse me, he's sauce made. Let you suck been. He's not today, but the game before. Okay, dude, he's like the nicest kid. I talk to the park a lot. How the heck did he get suck the fact that he did. I did. He part next to me. He was. He was freaking. It was after one of the Wizards Rangers Games I fill up for. Had Really Nice conversation with they come up Stay York. Oh, I got some cookie and Bailey. She talked about Northwood Prep Academy and all. Yeah, we talked about all sorts of good stuff. He really told cookie and who cookie and Davis Bone was the other one who's got seventeen goals for assists. I was chewing on both of them. And for Mons. Got What twelve games, and hey, I still like want to. I'm like shaking because I'm like I want Whoa gold where? Bro, it's good dish. Sawndag so quick. Okay, hasn't done a lot lately for me, and that's a case too. I kind of wish I dished him around this up. We know that, Jeff, with Mick, Michael and Palm, are we? He actually told us that last week. Yeah, that was so your D D Ruroad to smooth on tick tock. He just committed to Becker. Well done, row row. Congratulations. Congratulations Becker. Sure that'll be a graphic from justice scuteria coming soon. Let's see, Tyler Drummond from worcester, from the rails, the blue train, and then Dominic Shariko, another big tick Tock Guy, has also been putting up buckets of points. Our team all tack pints. Hey has he's just been he's been lights out since the chiefs relocated to Western mass and Christian haul big was my last defense when I picked. So I did it. I did not pick beyond shoot box, another one that I had a tough time. I chose hall big over him. Hall Big's been getting a lot of powerplay time, it looks like, with Sorella and Mario. So it was like, you know what, and they have a lot of games to I think the ABS play what ten games? I think Melan Hey, something somewhere around there. So I went with that. With Games in hand to for them. So and speaking of the Games in the hand, Kyle, what would that same kind of mentality before? I like Kyle speak to his lot of the one performance I want to point out from this past week. I know Jackson Bernardi have seven goals today, he still made sixty five saves. Shout, but Jesus,...

...that's still have I Thomas Walker, what's up like that's still a sixpoint game, right? That's still a sixpoint game like that. If Five Save, that's an and. And I kept to show as him he saw seventy pucks. So over seventy pucks. That's it. See Eddie. Any you keptain, Kyle. Are you gonna well you usually doing? Are you going to work from the back end up for your lineup? No, you know what a monitor that I can still do this, seem though I'm in last place for for fantasy hockey. We saw have a month ahead of us, or the month of February. But great fantasy points are great are born. Great Fantasy points are board born from great opportunity. Who was that was a Julius season. That said that, if my God, I thought about this sold a long and this is what I wrote and that's what we have here. This month, boys. That's what he'ven here tonight. This month, one month. If we bled the north ten times, they think they wouldn't ten times would they? Loud, they win. Zero. You're in the southland and cheese the MAC. We will fight. So you're lying. Moment of silence, but I still lave the team. So Nick Swayne, New Jersey S, Michael Lee, The New York apple, core, Denise, help me out here on this. Neo Archapelo, oh, Dennis, it's literally dead. Next, I always say denies anyways, Tim Deboard, New Jersey Seven's Jason Gordawn Gordon, but we don't need to get I'm going. I'm gonna sprinkle some Mac and cheese on this break like that's not a friend. The kids relax? Yeah, I'm joy I just know they complain when they left. She's a a be back. She could be more relaxed really, Jason Gordon. And then the last forward, Kyle, Mikey G and Papa. Okay, I'll had to go. Pop, feeling good. Tea here is. You gotta help me out. Wal Paul to beer, taborly got table, got sick. Yeah, that I okay. That one tough one. Yeah, and then how cool, good player. Good Stevenson commit, what's awesome. Good player. So kind of relying on the eighty sevens here. Not a seriously for me, for Bjr? No, well, you know, I'm kind of taking notes. For me bread. Now you're gonna wait. Tripping again. My fans kind of like my fans, love me and I what can I say? Yeahright, kind of get in my head with a cookie pick, because you were your was one of those things you said to us some text last week about. I think it's a finished with the cakes. I'm not trying to lease. Everybody trying to I'm trying to win the League here. Oh Yeah, I'm the most it dude, people pleaser is trying to not even in my top two thousand adjectives to describe myself. It's definitely. So yes, to finish, cow cool again, Pete and Durand in goal with Jackson Bernard, who again, who just talked about pretty impressive. This guy can clearly make saves. So so those are our lineups for the month of February. It's going to take us right through the end of the regular season, which of course, will be followed by our playoff preview. I have instructured how we're going to do those episodes yet, but I would imagine there's gonna be a lot of podcast episodes throughout the entire postseason, but the first one beaming for all of them. So I had found us. It's turn them down. The first one. We're going to take the rosters that we just gave you and we're going to turn it into three, two, one, four to D and One goalie, and it's coming from what the group that we have right now. The only way you can change the player as just someone season ends for an injury and you have to pull them from the list that we had for January. So the thing that we have to watch in the month of February is, of course, when one of your players in your March lineup gets eliminated, you don't fill that slot. That's IT gonna be Said said. So I was a little surprised that pretty did not want to put all rags in one basket and have six rangers forwards for Rages D, and it literally told me not to brow and upset in the playoffs. Well, also, why would I pick the BJR D men besides Jake la chance, when the top three are all on my team and they're the top three in scoring for defensemen. That would be a bit Boolesh, I must say. It could be, it could be. But with that there's a huge schedule Games coming up again this week. I know one game in particular I'm watching because also on Sunday night, part of the reason why I have this playoff beard going for Tom Brady. I...

...have to give the shout out before we sign off because I am will be all in on Sunday night. I'M gonna be drinking heavily, crying, probably if you don't have but maybe playing some ping pong and a lifecraft. I don't know, I figured it out. Oh, what's that? Enjoy the Games, guys, and we'll see where everyone stands fantasy wise this time next week. Bring it on, folks, see your crew, see at the ring. Thanks for listening to the show.
