This is episode number fifty six of the e show and on this week's episode I'd chat with Andrew Burke, the head coach at Alvernia University and Reading Pennsylvania. Alvernia will be launching their NCAA division three program in the fall of two thousand and twenty two, and Burke as well, on your way with the planning process. Also on the podcast this week we continue highlighting teams to watch in the battle for playoff positioning and finally, as we do every week, we provide the latest update on the e crew fantasy challenge. I'm joined now by Andrew Burke, the head ice hockey coach at Alvernia University. How's it going, coach? Good? How are you new? Good, thank you for coming on the PODCAST. No, we had talked about this. We wanted to kind of time it up with the announcement of your new program. How excited that you to get started in the fall of two thousand and twenty two. Yeah, I'm chomping at the bid. Obviously with with covid you know, moving stuff out, with with canceling seasons and you know, me not coaching this year enough, you know, to getting the ranks and watch potential student athletes and then given the opportunity to take over a program here at Alvernia University, to me is I'm grateful for it, I'm excited for it. You know, a lot of great things you happened here and at Alvernia, but you know, for me as a coach, I can't wait to get back behind the bench or even back into a rank and just watch a hockey game and potential student athlete. So super excited. So let's talk about the road to Alvarnia because I'm sure a lot of ehl players and fans will recognize you're a name from your days at Brendath and a program that you brought from the club level to the NCAA division three level, just like you're going to do Alvernia. Let's talk about Brendath and what was the biggest challenge? Yeah, I think. I think in the beginning it was it was getting the name out there. You know, it's you know, you're trying to when you're building a program, you're trying to explain, hey, you know you're you know you're showing locker room spaces that are could be party rooms or just empty spaces, and you're trying to show a vision to you're trying to sell a vision to the potential student athletes where, you know you're going up against schools that have history, you know. So what we're trying to show is, you know, you can come in and and make history and build history and build tradition. And then the top of it is you're trying to sell a little bit of yourself of what you can do for the potential student athlete, accompanied by the the university that you're at. So that was some of the challenge. And get the name of you know, it's Albert if it's Alberni or Branathan, getting the name of the school out there, so so the hockey will recognize it, and that's that's some of the biggest challenges because, you know, being in the game for so long, there's some schools out there that've been around for a long time and everyone kind of knows those names. So we're the new kids on the block and we're just trying to take some space up and think that's that's such a good transition, because I didn't intend for this to happen, but with your episode of the Podcast, the last three have been rivy or university, albertas madness and now Al Vernie. At three new programs coming in at the dinision three level. Why do you think division three is growing the way it is? Yeah, I think I think the game itself is grown. You know, you look at junior hockey, the youth level, there's more teams. I mean I played for the Philadelphia Little Flyers under coach Wayne Sands back in two thousand and four, two thousand and five when it was actually the lantic junior hockey league, and I think I can remember between us and back then it was eastern junior hockey league. I think there was maybe twenty five junior teams on the east coast and say, you know, even one of the coaches in the League, Chris Sarelli, was he was a he was a walpall when he was a young young guy, probably still yelling at all the rest. It's grown so much that, you know, you have more junior teams of album, you have more to a programs, you have more youth programs. Now you have prep schools having, you know, split seasons with with the teams under them that have full seasons and you know, the game itself is growing and I think that kind of all filters up to the college level and I think for us it's an opportunity for for schools to grow and on enrollment but also add...

...more offerings for the student athlete experience and the student experience in itself. Just to give you an example, at Alvernia there's an existing club team here and I'll be building the varsity team from the ground up, but I, you know, I've, you know, kind of bruised around their athletic websites and even our women's team that was in the Uchnsaba a division three last year they drew, you know, seven, seven hundred to a thousand fans in the body zone right there, and it's you see that hockey can add so much opportunities and different things and excitement around a campus. So that's why I think you'll see a lot of division three schools adding it. It's an experience for not only the student athletes but for the entire community of a college. And what I love to say when I go on the road is there's actually more of an opportunity to play division two and division three college hockey. Then there is division one. I almost about thirty teams at this point, but you brought up an answer. I staying point there. For those that but that don't know, the ehl used to be the Atlantic junior hockey league, which is a league that you played in. Then he moved on to play at, you Mass Boston, where at a division three program that obviously our league is very familiar with as well. But for your path, you you've been in these shoes that a lot of these junior hockey players that are in the ehl right now, and then you play, like I said, division three hockey. Does that help you relate to your players? Yeah, absolutely, and I think you know I stepped I put under Peter Balis and I think what what biles done there, and now he's been there for fifteen years. I can remember, you know, Pete, driving down with Jeff Pella, Greeny, to you come for the AJ Allstar game and talking to us and he was handing out packets and I'm sure you know, I'll tell you if you couldn't played for you mass Boston back then, you could have played division three hockey, because he took a program and you're now. You look at it, what he did with it, it's amazing. You know what I mean? There their perennial powerhouse and he's done a great, wonderful job there. But you know, I stepped I graduate from University Mass Shoes Boston Two Thousand and twelve and I took my first coaching job in August of that year and by December I was the head coach of that program. So I was even six months out of school when I was running a program. And then three short years later we were transition to division three and STAA. So for me it's a lot of I can relate because I know I've been coaching for nine years, but I just was in their shoes not too long ago and I understand a little bit of what it feels like to go through and feel the pressure of being an age out as a twenty year old or, you know, that nineteen year old that may have an offer but has one more year to left maybe wants to go chase that division one dream. So you know, I can speak to both sides of defense and understanding it and you know, talk about student loans and scholarships and what life is after immediately after you get out of out of school and what it feels like, whereas I think it's very good to be able to relate to kids like that. And you know, my philosophom recruiting is I try to learn each student athlete and potential recruit we have as a person and what their needs and once are and what their future goals are and what their past hockey career was like. And you know, I think it's a good thing and it's more for me it's building a relationship with each student athlete that we could potentially bring here to Alburnia. So it definitely helps for sure. And you bring up Peter alisle. Obviously our our Lee still plays Ms Boston. Didn't get to this season but has the past few years and an all star game. Not to put you on the spot here, but are there any good coach Palio stories, because he has one of the best personalities and all of division three? Oh boy, how long do we have? Yeah, Great. One of the great stories is, you know, we were going. You know, I'll give you two quick stories. You know, I we were going. I we were freshman and he built the program. Like I said, my even coming class had fifteen kids in it and I remember we were going up in and we were we're going to play school up in Maine and we were watching video and, you know, he gaves us this this, you know, analogy of how we have to play and he uses a junkyard dog with one leg that hasn't eaten in a month and we have to attack the game like that. And everyone was just sitting there was like well, if he's in the junk guard, he hasn't even a month and he has one leg, probably not going to make it very long. And then the second story would be, you know, we're getting ready for a big I think our playoff game or we're in middle season and we're having some playoff or powerplay wolves and one of our actually our captain was running the power play and he we were running a box in one and he wanted our defense and to be wider, to kind of spread out the penalty kills so we could open up the middle for some different things. And we're at the rink there, you mask, Boston, and we're on the he's we're practiced on the home, home bench shine. So he blows it down. He you know, he starts going off and screaming, but he's like I need you guys wider, wider. He gets up on the bench, he gets off the ice, gets up on the bench, walks out behind and then down with the scores box and slamming the boards the entire time streaming wider, wide or wider, and then like...

...pulls the kid over with them and says you can stand here, and this is how why I need to be on the powerplay and blows the whistle to start the next drill. This kids now on the bench, just standing there. You're like what is going on here? It was insane, but you know, you know pizza a great guy and you know I talked to him a lot and I lean into him a lot for four different tips on coaching, because that you know he's been, he's built programs, he's coached the visional one, he played the visual one and you know, he's just an all around great human being, to be honest with you, and he's teached he's taught me so many things about the game and about life. You know what I mean? I you know, it's amazing to be, you know, to call him a friend and call my former coach and call him a colleague now. It's just, you know, I'm very grateful for that. Would you say he was a big reason why you got right in the coaching after you finished playing? Yeah, I mean, I think, yeah, I think so. I mean he was definitely part of it. I think it's you know, to kind of see his work ethic and the see how he handled taking over a program that was you know, I'm sure he's told told a lot of people when, two years before I got there, their own twenty five and the only way he could go was up. And you know I looked at that as like. I look at that and said, man, that's pretty unique to it's for someone to go in there and spearhead that when everyone else was running the other way. And, you know, much like me, I think Pete'sa Builder. I think he builds and takes on the challenge of building and you know, I think one thing I took from him is a philossh of creating a family and that's what we were at ums Boston. That's why I created you upper and Hathen, and that's a culture. We're going to have that at e'Ver. Any University, you know, is, I guess, that Junkyard Dog with one leg that has an eaten for a month, but a family that works hard, that's dedicated to the classroom, it's dedicated to the community that wants to give it their best and it's you know, one thing I will say is, you know, eat still at my house today. I'm I'm super proud of that. I want to you Mass Boston Platter and people all and I graduated as emails Boston Alumni. I still have all my stuff in my in my office at my house, and that's what I want to build, that tradition of bringing a student athlete in that maybe they get in a coaching or they get into a different field and, you know, five, six years down the road or looking back with their Jersey hanging in their office and they can talk about their experience and how I build it out Alvernia. So you know, Pete's definitely a visionary and I think that's how I am and I definitely learned a lot for him and he's definitely one of my mentors that I look at. Well, maybe that Junkyard Dog will be your your story before your very first game. But what's interesting that you brought up is how that program has built to what it is now and you kind of I started to do that with Brendath and of course, your last season that you got to play there, the two thousand nineteen twenty, you had won twelve games. It was the first winning season and ends it as an NCA program. Is it disappointing that you weren't able to kind of pick up what you left off? For was there a closure in there for you as that door closed in this door opened? Yeah, I think I think it was. You know, for me, I think we you know. For me I was there nine years, I coach nine years. Like I said, I was grateful for all the opportunities I learned. So you know I left that I left the program in the school in a better place and I found it in my mind and I think you know they're going to do go and do one of the things. But for me I looked at the opportunity to kind of grow and move it Albertia, you know, bigger school, better academic you know, for Al Verney were top hundred in northeast region for academics and bigger athletic complex, more support, athletically driven. So I was happily and grateful that the opportunity I had to grow and build up for a Nathan and honestly, to learn from my mistakes, you know what I mean. I'm going to learn the dues and don'ts of trying to build a program so this time around I think I'm a little bit more equipped and I kind of hit the ground run in and you know, me on my assistant that I formerly had, I bounce ideas off him all the time. He's like, you got to relax, you've been in the job a week, there's only so much you can do in a week. And Sunday morning at zero am, why are you texting me? A type of thing. And you know, for me it's just exciting. It's kind of a fresher breath air and it's just it's just really, really exciting for me and this current hockey season that we're in. It is beyond unique and there may even still be some carry over into next season. For you guys, you're not starting at the NCA level to the fall of two thousand and twenty two. While I'm sure you want to play the first game tomorrow, do you at the time take a step back and say, you know, by not starting until then, that may benefit us in the long run? You yeah, absolutely. I mean, you know, we wouldn't you know we were we obviously you know. You know coaching is a year around recruiting thing, but it's you know, I feel really bad for all the college coaches, the junior guys, a twenty year olds, nineteen year...

...old, any senior, anybody really right now in this in its scenario, it's it's it's really brutal, to be completely honest with you. So, in terms of getting the program up and running, yeah, I'm exped you know, I think it's a good thing to step back and and, like I said before, it's one of the things I think I'm going to learn from my first initial build up or an Athen to trying to build a program out of Bernia. is to be able to have those checkpoints where I can take a step back and maybe take a day and take a breath and say, Hey, this is I'm doing, I'm doing the right thing, I'm doing it right and it's not where I'm just trying to do everything in nine months or a year. I have I have eighteen months to build it. But I guess really to answer the question, yeah, I'm grateful that I kind of dodged the bowl a little bit here with with trying to start something by September and with covid going on and the uncertainty of you know, I talked to a kid the other day and he was like, I don't even know if I'll be playing next week, let alone you know, I take my decision for for two years. So that's a little bit of one of the challenge that we have is we're really looking at old ones and oh two's and you know, of the birth year. But some of them kids are like, listen, I just need to see if I'm going to have practice tomorrow or this afternoon before I can start rolling on application. So for us it's a unique thing. We can build the relationships with the kids, but it's at the same time we're trying to we're trying to see their side of the fence and or their side of the story and be like, okay, we get it. We you know, with Covid we have to be very careful, but for me it's definitely a relief. But I want to be I'm not going to lie to you, I'm a little worried about what happens next year if this thing still around. So, you know, we all hope for the best and, you know, hopefully everyone safe and everyone gets back to normal rock and get back to rinks and I'll see each other in person. Yeah, that's kind of where I'm at right now with that. We well, Verny, I still be competing at the club level next season? Correct? Yeah, so that's the plan they're going to you know, I think the the club program started here and I think two thousand and two and and they'll pretty much stay in the they have their own coach or own staff. They will stay in the club league they play in. I don't off top my head, I don't really. I think it's a Stellar Valley League. Yeah, so they'll stay there and play their next year and then the year after. I believe they're going to stay as well. So so I think we should have three programs on our campus, for for hockey or women's, NCAA programmer, men's and subla program then our club program will stay over on the club side. So it's very exciting. You know, we're going to build that hockey culture of having maybe ninety plus hockey hockey players, whether it be women and Soaa, division three, men's or club. So the plan is to keep them over there and we'll build this thing from from the ground up. So we'll be building a brand new locker room at our rank and, you know, designing brand new jerseys and all new equipment. So it'll be it's very fun and very exciting. And for all those o one and o two and maybe even oh threes that you're talking to that then still have junior eligibility after this season, obviously, I'm sure the key would for yourself is patients, because to get a formal commitment right now for the fall of twenty two, it's probably not unlikely but a little bit rare. Yes, in your conversations, has it come up from any of the players that they asked you point blank, do you want me to play juniors again? Next season or come play for the couple of program yeah, every conversations only different. We've had guys. We've have conversations with guys where you know, you know. For example, we have some guys that are you want to do business and they want to get their five year MBA and they say, hey, you know what, if I can play one year club and still play four years of college hockey, but when I graduate from Albourne University I get to two degrees and get my bachers and my master's, I want to take a hard look at that and and we'll do it. You know, we're working with some kids right now doing that. So O, one, Zo, two's. You know, have have expressed interest and you know, said Hey, I would commit, but you know, do you want me to go? You know, me to stay in Juniors? And really we if we commit them, you know, it's then it's up to them. We don't. You know, we would love for them to stay on the team that we commit them with, because I think that's that's you know, you're recruiting with integrity. You're not trying to back door another coach and you know, if you commit them from their team, keep them there. You know what I mean you're obviously they're actually good enough that you caught your eye on their team now. So for us it's you know, each situation is different, but we would we would absolutely leave it up to the family and the student to say hey, you know, what do you want to do? But you know, at the end of the day I think in a normal year baby would have more kids looking to come for that one extra year to come start school, but I think with covid you're going to see a lot of these junior guys that would leave it at a nineteen year old year go back, which I completely understand because at the end of the day, you really didn't get your fair shake at your junior hockey career if you're just starting this year out and it as a nineteen yeear old. So we're...

...sympathetic on both sides of the fence with them and, like I said, that's why we have a year and a half. But it's really about build on that relationship with each student athlete. Makes Complete Sense, and I brought it up earlier, the steady progression that you kind of have when you were at Brendath and now when you look ahead to Alvernia, do you have goals of that same kind of step by step progression and along those lines, do you have a vision on a a conference that you want to eventually see your program go into? And then is the ultimate goal just to win that conference? Yeah, I think I think you know goal one was was getting in and getting getting everything set up. So I'm I'm there on that. So that's crossed off. You know, I think a short term goal for us is, you know, our athletic director, Bill Styles, is amazing, or administration, our leadership is amazing. You know, we've formerly have applied to the UC g. Our women are in the uch she. So later this spring, I know they're getting ready to start their season, I think in the middle of February. So I'm sure you know, later on this spring we should have some news about whether accept it or not. But you know, we're hopeful that we'll get in on the uch she. It's a great league. It's very competitive, high end. Know they had four ranked teams in their last year. So you know a few far between conferences have that division three. But for us, you know, it's the same goals. I had at a Barn Athen it's you're one. We want to make. We want to make playoffs here at Alburn University, you'R and by year four we want to be on the national stage, you know, and we want to do that top fifteen to twenty ranked teams in the country. And I think you know, you look at it and you there's teams out there that have startup programs and and within two or three years they were ranked and playing in the League Championship and in their in their own conference championships or they made the ends of La. So I think it's it's it's doable if you if you take the right approach, you have the right culture and you have the right student athletes on your roster. But I think for us, that's the goal is is find out later the the the spring, if we're we get accepted and then from there, if we are, then our goals to win our you know, get in the playoffs and maybe you're one should try to win a playoff game. So you know, that's what we tell recruits and I think it's something that's interesting. You know, you could be the first program here to win a playoff game. You know you can. I'm going to be the first program that you can score the first goal for university at the version three levels. So a lot of first and unique opportunities that we have for student athletes. Hell fingers crossed. I helped that. That news is good news here shortly into this spring and I appreciate you coming on the podcast. I can't wait to see your program takeoff. I know it seems like it's a long way as away, but the fall of two thousand and twenty two will be here before we know it and by being in Pennsylvania, I hope that we can see you march twenty four to twenty eight as well. Right now the tenetive planned for our league is to have our frozen finals at ice line in Westchester, so hopefully right in your backyard you can, we can make it down to the the frozen finals will be there. I'm already there might be in the park a lot already. So yeah, we look forward to it. I hope to see you guys down here and have some great hockey. But I thank you for having me on the podcast. Thank you for everything you do for the HL and obviously growing the game and getting, you know, players exposures and honestly getting college exposures as well. I think it's a great bridge that you build and sharing your messages is amazing. So thank you for the opportunity to come on. Thanks again to Andrew Burke for coming on the podcast this week. The had ice hockey coach to Alvernia University, a program that's starting at the division three level, not this fall but next fall, as you heard him say, though that's not a bad thing either, with everything else going on. Also a couple awesome Peter bisle stories in there from what he played at you Mass Boston. But with that, let's bring in the e crew now, guys, it is crazy to think about we're already at the end of January. What the heck we're really get here? Did we get here? It feels like we've been in this current hockey season for years, right, years, years, yes, too long, like no. Let me let me introduce all your first here. It's Jeff Mills, Brittany Heart and Kyle Mc Kinna. And what I was trying to say to someone this past week. They asked me like like, how the how's the season going? That's generic question, right, and it almost feels like the season is just a carry over from last year, like it's a condut and never ending regular season. Obviously the records got kind of white clean halfway through, but like it feels like it's all just been one season to me, Sam to you guys, for the most part. I mean we've got some obviously we got our new moved around divisions and all the instant instinct play. So it is kind of weird being like,...

Oh, yeah, well, was how the eighty sevens ver SEV student? Oh No, they haven't played yet this year. No showcases. So it's kind of a mixed bag, kind of big, I'm glad. No, not that I think it's been two different seasons, because the defending champions of Philadelphia Revolution squaring off against eighty seven's and the avalanche and the Rangers and well pall and all those other teams. So now I disagree. So for those that we're kind of confused there for a second. Kyle has dubbed the two thousand and nineteen twenty revolution as the champions. I'm not sure how the let's see how the little flyers, eighty seven, junior flyers, wizards, rangers, avalanche and lumberjacks, for all the other teams that were still alive in the playoffs at that time. Feel about that, right, you feel this? I mean that's that's their problems on my so what's funny is if I went back and like saw the text messages, like there were a lot of different takes, like the wizards actually won four playoff games, but that time the postseason got canceled last year. Right. So Freddy and Corey were like, if we had the most wins in the postseason, then we are the champions. My God, I don't know if it kind of works like that, but sure Corey said something like that. And the locker room after the game the other day when I went up there and we were talking about the playoffs and I was like, we were talking about you guys in the podcast. This is Wizzi's time. You guys are getting hot. This is your time of years. He brought some up about, hey, we one the most playoff games last yes, and the Captain Jack. We're talking about it Jack. So so that was that was one. And then Mark Catchell on the little fires said we won the most recent game. Oh, of course, when my has does, because it season got canceled on that day. That they want a game against Maryland. Right, so leave. It's all of our coaches to have their cases. Well, we would played the last minute on the ice and it's like, well, Jeff, you'll remember this, because the an'ed shell kind of pause their season right and for a little while they're there are there was an audience that the leaves like they weren't coming back. Grem of this. And and by rule in the NHL, if you don't finish the season, it goes to the team that had the most points. But when it was canceled, with for the president's trophy, not, but there was there was the discussion about if you just make them the Stanley Cup champion also, which would have been the Boston bruins. You remember that? It was like, I wouldn't have wanted that either. Know you know what, you wouldn't want it anyways, but it can't, I feel to me, it feels like with some of the way the top teams are still a top teams this year, while they're different, it feels like things have kind of carried over a little bit from last season into this season. But with that, with that, Jeff mentioned the new divisions, let's start making your way around all those new divisions and around the show. It's time for this week segment of around the e show and around the shows brought to you by the junior hockey podcast, your home for junior hockey news, no knowledge and nonsense. Check them out. A tjh podcastcom. I am not going to waste all of our time debating which division is the toughest this week. It's like a new beet segment, so fun and then being being the or going back and forth. The other day when I was I was at the gym and I was texted you about was like you know what I've been thinking about. I was just sitting there like pondering it at like weird times and like it can change week to week. I see your space last week you make the case for that. Secos still on a bender or they have two six game winning streets. Six Wizards are at five. Was It dirfy? There three games under five hundred thirteen and sixteen. I believe three thousand three hundred and sixteen. Eighty sevens are at nine and nine. Yeah, I had a very crazy math situation this week. So I welcome to the close. I still keep in close contact with Mark Kumpel, former director hockey operations for the League ops, who's still who's doing some youth work now with the what's called the H F, Eastern Hockey Federation, so that's midgets on down too. I think even like you ate like, it's like it's youth tied on steroids, Corressan. Yeah, so what we have to do for some of our divisions this year? Obviously, if if you play a unbalanced number of games, that team plays thirty eight, that team plays thirty six, when all of a sudden done, you go based off of the points percentage, which we've used in the past four different things here and there, and it's simply the number of points that you earned out of how many you could have possibly earned. That you divide that out and there's your there's your percentage. To me it's a better percentage than winning percentage because you still get some recognition for earning a point in overtime or shootout. Mark wanted to use the same thing for the EHF and the they said we don't love that formula.

We actually like ties divided by two plus your wins. That divided by two in this and I was like, what did you just say to me? And he's he goes well, he goes well. I'm confused about it. When we're when we were growing up, they tell you to put like each part of the formula in parentheses and then figure out the sum and then divide. I go, mark, let's just just do the whole thing out. Long story short, that numbers equal exactly the same as our points per sentence. Right, you can. You could if I take the sevens and I do the ehf formula or the ehl formula, while one took eight other steps to get there, the the same exact thing. Right. So when mark figures that out, he screams into the phone like Excu's, like Oh my God, and I was like that I make your day. He goes, yes, you did. Thank you any hung. But it was this. I thought it was a hysterical story because it's it's something that, like, I'm going to have to start doing more of here, and it's not like in a normal year it's just so easy to look at the standings and see who has the most points and they win. It's so much easier. It's so much easier than what I wanted to bring up to you guys. Right now. We're dropping this on Thursday, the twenty eight. If Marilyn loses. Today we have a division champion in the eighty seven. Oh, that's true. So so when you go to stile, when you go to the standings, right, you have to factor in that. Right now each team has scheduled to face, to play thirty eight games, right. So thirty eight times two is seventy six. So you can earn a pot maximum seventy six points if you were. It goes thirty eight and O, which obviously no one's going to do that this year, but we may have some guys get close. For the eighty seven, say they only get to fifty. So now you're getting fifty out of seventy six. You then have to go to the Maryland record and see what their Max possible points to get to is. And Right now, if they win out they can get to fifty two. If they lose tomorrow without getting a point the Max, they can get to his fifty. The sevens have the head to head. Tomorrow. We may have a division champion. Whoa let me get a trash Maryland at the end of January too. Wow, what am my trumpstress for Maryland, I mean a playoffs or what you know, marches right around the corner. February for a month, right. I slee everyone's. I was looking at it or is browsing around it. Today. The last regular season game for most people's February twenty eight, which is a month from the day this is going out. So that's the team it's. So it's maybe, maybe a division champion at this time is not that uncommon? Well, member, when we were in PA, Haha, we're going. We go and book. But remember when we were in PA and it was like the bobcats avalanche thing and like it is in ninety years before anybody else. And then we're like up a village or I don't even remember it was, but they like one nine century where anybody else did. We're like sick, like it was. That was the the Good Old New York. BOBCATS, royals, Long Islands, royal stro the nineteen teeth. That fun they owned seems like another time ago. Yes, they owned two franchise. As a you'll make so much more sense, Jeff. HMM, the royal bobcats. Yeah, got the BOBCATS, royal. I'm cats royals, but that's what they were called. It several got a large charts. I was like, and today we got the passenger, your ridges verst the New York Bob Cat Long Island royal team squared, like so much, so much of a mouthful. But obviously we're starting down south. And I only say that Marilyn could lose the protect because if you recap their season series, it's insane. Right, it over one Kay, that's a my Brits Commits said today. Yes, don't know who Brits commits is on for day, but he's like every game we played the protect is like a one goal game. Like Watch, tomorrow it will be. Or tomorrow, because it's Wednesday, when we're recording whatever, will be a one goal game. And I was like right, word, here's I'll here's the recapt Tam Mariland won the first five contest, right, but six to five and a shootout, three, two and regulation for three, shootout for three, overtime, six, five overtime. Then the lost for three in a shoot out. Like if, if these teams may match up on the playoffs, like, it's probably going to all overtime. Right. TMD Big grab at least a point team and the plot that can is they love overtime to so selsie. So they must have a record deal that's something will talk about another time. But protech must have the record for overtime losses. No, no, the overtime most overtime games in e Joh history. They have to. Well, how many of they want. So they have five...

...overtime and there's something is when you look, this is an inaugural team, like this is a new team. There's nothing to write, to laugh about or shake your head out. I'm just saying, you know, it's got to be a record. They have at least seven overtime losses, including a shootout. So you got to figure they've had nine overtime games, not mining twenty three, twenty four contests. I mean, as I say, they're ninety nine and five as of today. So five overtime losses, including at least two overtime wings, at least. Wow. Yeah, that's yea, that's a lot of extra hockey. That'll burn you out by the end of the year. But there's still different roster. Yeah, that's your free game on hockey TV, folk, sketch of free hockey, overtime hockey, protect ducks. I thought you like season. I thought your teasing the Free Hockey TV game of the week. There for I have no idea. What the I could not even tell you what their free game of the week is. Of No clue. We all know how much Brittany loves her sponsor reads. So Wow, the free game of the week this week in the Eh Shell is sevens versus apple core on Friday, because if Marilyn does get at least a point on Thursday, then they're alive. The eight and eighty seven control their own destiny still. Right. Once the eighty seven play, if they win, it's over. Yeah, but that's why the way, as you just said, sorry, I had to shot mysefflf as you said that. I'm like, look at a list of story and she's wearing her eighty seven scratcher and I was wearing my eighty seven scratcher today. And Benilasa, we're twinning. So goals by continue, but that's only for the one seat right there. Love that. Hey, Gurley, there's a there's a second by down south as well. Yeah, I talked about that to my Brits commits. Guys can plog Brits Commits. Let's go it is it? Is it Marilyn, or is it the little fires, or is it somebody else? I probably will want to give my opinion right now. My God, look at me, look at me being quiet. This is no huh is. I'm good. I'm good with staring my opinion for the current moment time. We should have tuckered out. We should have had you ask your interview which we're not saying his name. Yep, no, we can't. I don't care. I was on this week using it well, but it's a top score. Someone from TMD for life. I plugged the one with Steph last week through the wizard's broadcast, so I'm sure that. Oh my God, thank you. I also appreciate the the shoutouts for the young gentleman from the wizards. I know we're changing so subjects here, but Oh yeah, keys from from meek mills saying hey, I gotta give it a plug in. I was the first thing. I was like, wait, what does that mean? Oh my God, not old. You are not old. Like chill, chill to thirty, pushing thirty. Think everyone on here is thirty one. Nail will be thirty soon me, because thought really twenty five, thirty one brother holding the torch is the older elder statesman on this show. No graze of the beard yet, though. All Blacks. They'll be sorry to interrupt you. Two Center. Where were we all? We're talking about TMD in my thing. Yeah, so tmd could get the suck. I. I mean I did talk about the second round by with him. I said what would it mean, and then he yeah, I would it benefit you. Blah, blah, blah. And my member answered the question just like I r well, what I wanted. Maybe maybe one way to spin it. You could have said You your head foods my question. I know that, but I'm thinking about this now because his head coach has made it to the finals without having that by rest a fact. Why? I was a weird robinence. That was Wilkesbury, and we're teasing a lot. Were given a lots of hits here. Yes, I don't think Denny's played to right. Ya think he was on that? Oh, that's right. You want that? Not Bad for the rookie. Good recall, good recall. And what's funny, Kyle, another thing that I forgot. How about how late we are on the season? Arka Panko is very close to cracking his way inside the top ten for all time scores. Like he's only like a handful of points away. I did not realize he's actually played four years in this league, two with lawyers, his first two with Wilkes Barre too with Maryland, but that very loves Josh FASCO. Kid loves FOSCO like loves them. Last Josh, you fuss Goo. That looks very team that looks very team like. I think by the time they got to the finals they were tired by being the only thing I didn't have a by. I wouldn't say that was the reason they finished where they did during that round robin, but I don't think it helped at the same time. So I think that this battle down stealth is interesting because was you know, while we may say little flyers or Maryland protech has a number of games in hand, they can get hot the same way. I know the rough riders have struggled a little bit...

...out of the gates here in the second half, but I think the hosses except. Sorry, yeah, that's how how dare I Chou Sary meant, even if I'm the one who liked but oh, this is getting fired up. She's waking up every Dama. That was obviously they hadn't put they hadn't played all of December because of the shutdowns and they were missing Colin Della for a few games, who just came back the last game from injury and scored. So I don't see. I wouldn't write them off. And Hey, you know what, you're going to think. I may sound crazy. The apple corn. You'RE gonna play fourteen games in February. The core, the core, every day, course, low key handed Maryland. Yeah, I always tend to get myself in tough situations, warding lies. hanted them there, butts the other jest. Yeah, the day like. I don't know. They're both weird teams. I have ever said. There's my teams in this league this year. The quote unquote, bad old Neil. Can I just got into sea? Three words. No, summarize it right now. Expect the unexpected. Yeah, that's a fact. I also random thing. I would like to know who's still playing in the league that was on the armist set to Maryland. who was on the wilks bare the year in what's a McCall it providence? I get think of two people. One, I'm Johnny Jackson, was on Wolke Spear, but he's no, but I mean no, but I mean playing like now. Oh, besides the goat here, besides the go AK, the root of Neil and Kyle's problems, Mapalinsi Blensky was my God. Yeah, that I'd be. Was On that team to yes, absolutely, mad be was on that team. Heck yeah, the funniest, the funniest part about it was Bilinsky in Archapeka. Those are the two guys. That's it, I think so right. I don't know. That's why I said I wonder. It's actually a good point by bring may be a good tribute question, or from fact that there's Johnny Jackson's last year, last year, that is Johnny Jackson's like no, Johnny Jackson somewhere, playing somewhere. I don't really as Nazareth. Wait, who am I thinking of? That could be another story. I'll ask this question because here was another one. That was a wolkespere script night and then Josh Fusco got him back last year at the trade them on here. I'm thinking of Jackson Olson. Sorry, okay, I was going to say he's somewhere else. Do you remember when Wilkes Barre was to my right? You're left in the banquet and the bus driver's phone just started erupting in the middle of the banquet. Noever, no, I literally don't. I only remember is when the old made me get up in my hand things out and like, in case you don't know, you guys, no one is going to believe that. You guys are going to all be like shut up, shut the frontal arm right now, in less. I want it. I hate attention. I don't like it. I'm less, I am like being loud as can be and I want all the attention the universe. I hate attention. So a deal basic me get up and prance around the stupid bank and I hated my life and he made me hand things out. Was that the worst experience my life? An we go back to what happened when we got into the banquet room for the first time. I like barely. Oh my God, when I use the microphone, having on the microphone tests, there's this thing working at wearing without down. But yeah, okay, that was two mrches ago, so that would be honestly, this sounds like a scene from the movie old school. I don't know why it was. Wow, is this where guys be patient? To Arrissaer, actually, I love you. I don't think I could hold on my wife was. anyways, we're we going with this one. You know what? We're just like, we're just talking about the south of this. Oh my God, this is me. I can't play the sound because I feel like some profane things were said. Rob. Wait, this is this is an explanation of Mike Sperience at the banquet. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Dad, yeah, wait, I really look at the sad. He's man. I'll play this for us later because I don't know what I'm saying in it. Waters good, get hydrated. File steal has to just a programs. We were just talking about the south divisions. Going to be interesting to see how it plays out. But, Jeff, you bought up an interesting point in there. You said every team's a good team. Right, I understand some with cory fulity earlier. And when we find the exact text we're going to do a live reading of Wiz. It was bad Wednesday. Text messages. Like, just real quick now, while you're finding that text, just look at the value in your wars. For example, their wins avalanche, express wizards. Do they beat the Rangers of like, if you just look through it. I was looking through the other day. I don't think they beat the Rangers, but they did. I'm still knocked off Wallpole. They beat the avalanche like they beat playoff caliber teams, yet they're sitting in last in their division. In the same can...

...be said, like you were just saying, about the Apple Corps. They've knocked off a lot of the big teams in the cell, but yet they still sit and last and their division. And then if you look at the records this year, the worst records this year are a lot better than our previous years when we've had some, you know, struggling teams that never got close to the winds. Yes, exactly right. You know what? And that is on improvement. But back to your text for email at from cory. You Oh live reading because I'd texted them and I said hold on to many texts even. Have it right? Yeah, right, MR popular is if it I said five, I said five straight. You're following the Freddy Freddy Meyer Guide book to a tea. He said never eat, never easy, though all of these games will be dog fights down the stretch. Well, he's right. Yes, like to say he's right. It's true. You look at the arena, you look at the Games that they've won. There's a few close contests in there as well. I don't know how many of those were one goal contests, but you know that we've seen that with a number of teeth. Just touched on it with protech and team Marilyn in that division. I brought this up this past week. How do you find a way to just keep focus on what you're doing and then, when all of a sudden done, you find out who your opponent is and you're either happy about it or you're sad, because what I don't understand about that division is the teams that have other teams numbers. It just the pattern doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Now the patterns is sporadic, like that was a goodness or the chiefs. Yes, I right, we are keep playing that segment. I don't want I'm gonna seahawks. This week they almost knocked off the rangers two days in a row. Those are both day the circumstances were a little bit odd. The word matter away and then we see us wait hard. I got to say. The cehawks played the yeah your Rangers hard and okay, how you know why? They held the Boston Junior Rangers hard? Because it's a respect thing. I'm watching shots at anyone. When the Boston Junior Rangers School score goal against the seahawks and sell rate it like it's a playoff game, that's when you know Boston has respect for a team like the seahawks. But I think it's any I think it's even more than that. This is a big game, this is a good team. We just scored on a five on three. We're in a cell. You like Elia Kobel Chuck. This is you know what I mean. Think this is it, and I mean I'm not I'm not taking shuts in anyone. It's a respect level, but I think it's I think it's even more than that because I was talking to a few coaches about that this week. This is going to sound like a exaggerated comparison, but it holds true here. When you play the New England patriots, you get up for that game right when you play the eighty sevens, the Rangers in the avalanche, you get a little extra in you for that game. These teams want to be that team. Yeah, these teams are going to start getting that extra fire against them. You look at sea coast right we we I don't know if we openly questioned how good they were following four straight wins against the lumberjacks, but they proved just how good they were with a win against the avalanche. Yeah, they fell off for a minute this act. You know what I didn't do this week? Look at Clyndon and Stewart's box score. What did he do? I couldn't, couldn't wait. I don't think the coost mixed in many games. They didn't. They didn't play as much this week. That's kind of the other thing. One game they won, three, two. Yes, they play Saturday against the lumberjacks and yeah, Deptha, everyone's been everyone up there, Yally. Yeah, I they I don't think Stewart any points in that game. Jeff So, you can sleep easy tonight. My God, Sorromon's like our sell yeah, I just hit home run. Yeah, that's a little Tony Robo Kokomo there. So that division, though. It's interesting right, because obviously we do feel as a group confident about the Rangers probably holding on the number one, express holding on the number two, those playoff series after that, the three, six, the four five, Oh big, all those big best toss ups, Bas big in certain hells. Fair word here. Question Marks. Yep, yes, it's gonna be fun, like one series and watch and call. And I mean you look at it like this. Right, obviously the warriors right now or in seventh with fourteen points and they can go on a run here. But you look at the teams above them. Wizards Twenty seven points, seahawks twenty seven points, chiefs twenty six points, railers twenty four points. Obviously we go based off of the points percentage was all of a sudden done, but they're all going to play roughly the same number of games anyway. So it's it's going to be right about where things are at. And if if the playoffs started today, it's wizards, railers and seahawks chiefs. Yeah, the railers group...

...the Wizard Game Djr run for their money like low key today and tune in next week. Is that could be difference is the roll within one beam, win over the leap frogging the next. So MEO, that's your team to watch, right. You mean you've been saying it for a couple of weeks. Name now is the railers? Yeah, I know, yeah, and Dave with their new I won't even try to say the kid's name. You'll take it away. Oh, quote, okay, here we go, then Coscis, and then you can say Benson's first name correctly. Oh course it's not. Okay, she's psychos now, but that coin. What's voice? Coil, coil, okay, that's what I thought, dude, that's cold. It like Shallie Coil do when I see? Is He committed? Like no, he will yet. All right, college coaches got out this kid. I've heard he's fast to mccabeus. Did you go look at the third top place in the week? Come on, fallout, like we're the the kid. Just like he's side by side with somebody else and then he just starts skating and it's like okay, bye, like just leads them in the doll. Okay, by it was like the turbo but turbo button, turbot night, Nitro, nitro times time. Yes, yeah, he's just skirted away for speed. Huh, that was this last week. I missed that. That was in this past week. Yeah, that was from that was what was supposed to today. So you missing. Is Very busy today. Yeah, I actually posted where other people oh, listen, I can't remember the deeds of the week at this point, like truly someone the score today. Hold on, let me like, let me. Someone did have to point out to me now I don't think you did deal, could you? Could you be more selfish, just giving your call the number one and number two plays of the week? Wait, who said that, because that's mad funny. Cody Pot to me pretty good about that. Friend brother did who did MINMU Song School make it in my Woodmen, who know? That was a nice one. Let's do that. But I was like, we'll get right there. I didn't do it. It's actually the the turst goal and the Dusi Save. Where Rig legit like? I don't know. I would have put do z three, but that's just me and what would have been too something. Rangers obviously like why we weren't even in it. They weren't even at it this week. They they say, low key, they'll be in it next week. They'll already get the go picked out any more. How are you actually you know? It would have been a low key austome top play when Bennett junges bio steal water bottle got knocked off the net. I not even can you go back to the tape? Watch this and it just goes, it skates right across the ice like. It was like a planned Probo and I was like and Bio Steal, folks, don't forget to go on steel power playing goal. I was like, that was like play and look, it was something on a commercial with it. This is knocked right off and just went skarting right by. The cat's funny. I know that the sorry. Did your bio steal arrive, Kyle? Yes, you know what. I had it for the first time today. It was awesome and I was actually to this moving amount of products I received. And can we confirm? So the BIOS? You went to the Raven household? No, no, it's a phrase that a hard household, to a rink, to New Jersey like. I mean this thing has been all over the globe. Here's what I will say to Brittany. The Post Office is quick. You Walk in. Yes, wrappe is not. Miss girl is lazy. I spent twenty for I won't get into this. I five fingers. I'm just saying some question. What happened? Yeah, Britt admit of Muss that last week's ante. She was like yeah, so's it the post office today, then? We mean like a post office, like every wrapt the post office and you have you and, a long story short, I just got my biosteal yesterday because I can fake. How would you try to blueberry? Berry's good, right. I saw the snap chase. Anyway us or what do you ask? Fire? Yeah, that's what I wanted to that's what I want to say about bottle steal. Wanted to make sure that you got it after all that time. And Yeah, I wanted to play out the Brittany. Yes, and I was. I was in and out of the post office that day in about three minutes to where it definitely went to like four different places and eventually ended up on the Jersey shore in seven s protect territory. To Britney's credit, I would say that the New Hampshire post office has are a little less populated than the Massachusetts Post Office. I was just gonna say a lot less TRAFFICA I hate the poss office in the whatever the woman, I love it. Highly support it. Yes, great, grass fire. That way is. Let's go up north, gi me, who else? Kidny? We'd already talked about them. Do you like that,...

...though? We just we talked about the south. I like that and you switched it this week. You start with the south and then we're going to the north. Yeah, so in the north? Yeah, bluncher rolling? Not Really? No, I don't know. They're not really. They lost it dam they lost the game of sea coast. They did that. We haven't recorded since we were at Exeter. No, we there. I'm just talking through it. They lost that game the sea coast last week. They lost that game of sea coast and then they beat the lumberjacks the next day and then we recorded that Wednesday and then they lost the lumberjacks the day after that and then that was. That was that Thursday that we went that the Waterville say I was in the north. It was. It was in file I stem. And then on the Friday they were actually losing to the lumberjacks in the third period of that game three too. It would have been their second loss in a row and three out of four. But they scored a couple goals. They scored a goal late from accross in the tie and then I think Blaney had commit let's US for two thousand and twenty two. He's already cry back to the Athletas textee reason. That's scary. That's scary. And blame. So you had the Blandy had the game wher good emptying that here as well. But I'm just that division, like I was saying before, whenever they face the avalanche, the other wands get the best effort from each one of those three teams. Look at the wolves, like it's seacos, because they are most for most recent champion. Yes, contrary to whatever, at least for a contrary. You know what, you know, what's insane. You know, you know, they still have the trophy. Boy, Susan won't let you. Yes, Susan says, HMM, even my house she was like it. We weren't happy about that at the revolution. I mean we deserved it. So she's yeah, yeah, if peep, but Bjrn't Dick also like it. Susan a Coordo is the is the lady to like runs things with Mario at the ice then right, and she's like so, you know, if things open up the way that we want them to, we can just host the finals here. Well, I was like, I was like, I hate to burst your bubble, Susan, but I can't imagine. Or here I'll tell you how the votes would go for that in the week, and probably about one to seventeen, because the avalanche from vote yes and then everyone's Elseo be like no way, keep doing that's so. But I I appreciate the effort, of course I do, right. I mean, look a look at the NFL, right. I was talking with with Vicky about this all last week because the Tamna Bay buccaneers now play a home super bowne. But that's the first time it's ever happened, and now fifty five years. Hmmm. So I'll prefer the neutral site for ours. Head down to Pennsylvania at the end of March. Oh my God, get up Lester Shore, get up, women levels, get up, everyone welcome. Nothing else to get up and that's it. Get up Jerry Domas. Get up Jerry Domas. Yeah, D Dude, if I see John Brogue, I was stream bloody murder in like cried tears of joy because I love that man's guys really go he isn't the goat. Also, I feel like we talked. I don't know if we talked to what's in the podcast or if it was like a side conversation, but whatever. According to a low we need at the finals in Westerns of PA. Need to induct Jerry touch into these you know hall of fame. Keeping my the hall offen doesn't make your no, doesn't exist. You want me to come. He wants me to create the hall of fame and then duct him in as the first inductee. I was like right, as we're at West treasure like sick plan. We'll see we get come from there ten years. Then you have a hall of team. We gotta put a couple in there too. Neil, ten years. Yes, dress, I mean of honor, Hall of Famer. All right, I mean that's a little no, offense coaches and people out there, it's a little much. But Ring of honor. Retired, retired numbers. To God, we four teens? No, I don't know. No, I've just this or just talking out a loud, right. I mean I think retired numbers are funny, like if you look at the Boston Celtics, right, I think every single digit numbers is retired or something crazy like that, like the Boston Celtics have ever why like Shaq worry like number forty two when he's on the Celtics, for still beams, still the the the one regret that I'll hold forever, Kyle, is never buying a welcome to Shaka choose it's t shirt. I will take myself forever for that one. I wish if Magic Jersey. That sounds good in the day. That's a good deal. Ravn at Quinnipiac Definitely Justin Shack it, shoose, it's very bad. They will consider all things that time, all things discussed. Retired numbers, ring of honor, Hall of fame, you name...

...it, bring it all. Your neighbor will consider it. We're governor's beating right. No, boy kneels about to get a thousand emails tomorrow. Oh you could. I know my men, my name, myself like yes or like one. That'd be fubably good. Themselves, old players from like very coach ever started, no Neil, who would dominate themselves into a hall of fame it already has. We're going to skip that for the off yeah, we're definitely get we're definitely got to skip that. So no one said that it was so where. I cannot we're going down a bad rabbit hole with that one. So we'RE gonna WE'RE gonna move our way over to what to watch for, which includes the fantasy before we wrap things up, here's what to watch more this week in the east show and folks, it is time for the e group fantasy challenge, brought to you vibe Bertucci's brick up and pizza and pasta, your home for authentic Italian dishes, catering and group dining. Check out their party pizzas and specials at Fortuche's duck off. So this past week was the second to last week of the full expanded rosters. Wait for real, I think it's ready for this to be done. I think I'm says. Is My frustration now. So so the day this dross period, the data, this drops from the twenty eight to next whend, it the third. That's that's it for twelve, eight three. Okay, then we kind of down to what good that we can cut. We can destimate Britney's team and the six, press four, two, yeah, EA, later. So what I have to ask? First, first, for what is first? First, what is that? It's a word. So there's no buddy. Do we do? We need to have what we typically have, and that's a z whom outside of our recording time? Yes, yes, always, yes, so epic of that. Let's go team by team and I'll give the the overall totals. First okay, I'm looking at the wrong graphic again to just everyone's setting justice. Screw with us. Look at your spreadsheet, your spreadsheese, acurate off. I got it now. Excellent. So Brittany is in first place with, Oh my God, Old News, seven hundred, eight hundred more points. Yeah, it is that good. Okay, you know what? She got a lot of points from non Rangers last week. I looked through it before I showed today and I was like, okay, George and sir, we have sir. Think. I think a George weener commits coming soon, but like that's some input. Chances of Margy here for you too. Can I tell where everybody else is on this? Wee Wait, wait side. No, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I've ever random question. HMM, according to my source, tick tiger, almost a tiger tiger bred then, is going back to Wesleyan in tomorrow's his last he went tmd. Does that mean Jake? The chances last game with PJ are is? I need to Tex Russian it. Maybe. Oh my God, will get scared. No, there's a number of division three programs that are going to start coming back in the spring. You trying to play really yeah, yeah, but like I thought that was that catch. Already know everything off division three, I think in general, was trying to stir in the spring. Like no matter. This Maskak is interesting because I don't want to go too far into it, but there's a few schools that may try and work together to have non league games. Quote. Put a lot of quotes around that if you want to. Okay, so you may be losing a defenseman there for well, I just asked for it, so I'm sure I'll get so names. Tire, by the way, I know I just called them Takr because I am so is let's chance. Leaving Bjr. Know why? Just I picked him at some point last year. Are Tomorrow he's routing and see Tiger Bjordland. But to go down the rest of what we have for points, because there's four of US competing in this, not just Brittany. I have seven hundred and twenty, two point two. Jeff at one point four. You know, you're now second place. Congratulations, kind of six. So four point eight. This past week, Brittany one hundred and thirty five point two. Myself. Don't bad week myself one hundred and twenty eight point eight, Kyle one hundred and eight point six and Jeff Eighty six point six. So let's start as a bad let's start bringing on that. We let's bring it on Jeff's week, because I think what's hurt, what's hurt a little bit, is Chris Aaron's hasn't played a game yet, but he's back this week. For you, mark, Chris Committal be inswork, which would be interesting for you because state say he goes off. Now you get a very interesting debate in your head, because this cut it down from twelve eight four to six four two. It's stressful, going to be very hard. Yep,...

I encourage you to like start thinking about it over the weekend because it's not going to be easy and I would do that. The rest of you don't do it. Yes, I know one guy that you're going to keep that hasn't played because of a recent shutdown for his team, is Donnie Feldban. Oh, absolutely, you're definitely keeping him. feldstone further. And just to go over some of the points from this past week, it really wasn't a bad week. You look at Ryan Bailey, eight points, Davis bone seven points and, just to Fer a nine Jason Wescalski Nine, Colin Calinan seven. What's funny about those stuff? Haven't we? Scouski just started pack coup most seven points for Calinan, Jeff. None of them were recorded live. Those are all stat changes that came in afterwards. They were like they miss this, they miss this, they missed us, and I was like, here's Jeff's points, here's the VP in my heart witless as what. Thank you, sir. Marco Leene got you ten points. Marcus Cook cut you eleven points. There was only one start in I think one thing that gets remember. So there was only one start in there for you, for George Mic Michael, and he lost that start. So that's why I like the goal the goalies are so big in this right. I know what kind of goes without saying, but a win versus a loss is automatically four points. Take away a goal or two now you're looking at five, six points and if it's a top team, looking at bonus points of that point. So it goes without saying that I think you still may have the best goalie combination, for sure. Jeff does for sure, and obviously we believe that you're going to go with Mick Michael and Mason Palm. I think that's the only lock of all the six four two combinations that there are. I think the only lock I is, we know, Jeff's two goalies. I'm sorry, Yaka, I love you, Buddy, but you've done well, sir, when I've had to call on you, but to call in the month of January, you haven't played one game. So, Jeff, he's literally written on the PLF Locker Room White Board as injured reserve ITAGE. I found that out today. So no one can at my throne because they literally just found out. Look, I'll show you wait time about so way out today. I just found this out. You know, everyone laughs, but lass sign o Neil, do you get a haircut to get a little pressure? Yes, not, back to me, everyone. Look at my screen for Christ's sake. Dude, wait, I don't like board. I don't know. I just saw this today. Why haven't I been able to pick a new goalie? I don't know. What's would you pick, though? That's my question. Like, yeah, some points you go to the no points. I'm just saying, according to this white board, right ways, these are hot. The SPARTANS are hot. Options are out there I gotta get. I gotta get tighter with Alo, I guess, and get his numbers for me and him. Can you know he can brief me on these important items. I just found the sun today, so I know I can pick bet a job. He's looked good. You know, Yos, I think him. If I was you, I, like SIS said, six am. What do you guys think? Like six am morning to use records? The morning we first started whebe, we used to do like nine am, eight. Oh yeah, back when I like didn't work a full time job. We too. This would be a good morning show. It's a good dance. That's good little show. We got a coffee instead. Abuse we'll have to figure out some some way to do like a facebook live or instagram live something the finals. Yes, we have to. That's what we're trying to figure out to do. But I, like I said, I think for Jeff his for to trim down. We know Donnie Feldman, we know George with Michael and we know Mason Palmer. Yep, I would imagine Ustafura is in there, maybe a Javis bone or Ryan Bailey, but it gets a feel day. Thanked him personally in person. Who you're welcome in. Yeah, it was great kid, very nice kid. But like just to list off the one bones. Are Rattling them off. Yeah, the guys have been performing the best for you recently. Write like the Felman Bailey bones to Fura. Saw The guy markelene. Now you're already at six or over six. Right, you haven't even touched, even talked about Jason Rascousi you. I just mention's going to play fourteen games in February. But remember what I've been saying to you guys, as you have to factor in you're going to trim down again to just three and those are your three going into the playoffs and when their team gets knocked out or advances, like that's your team, like you can't add, add anybody else. So this it's, like I said, study this over the weekend because he kind of really think ahead with this stuff and we all got some skin in the game, you know, we we did those little side you know, Bernie looks very cocky on her cell phone like yeah, good, I have somebody your points Killna with...

Kyle and with Kyle's team, as I mentioned, a hundred eight point six this past week. Next wing, a kyle teen and I know Brittany already mentioned. Andy Moore has a top play for next week. So does Nick Swain. Have you seen this goal from today? Nope. Oh my God, it's a Beaut well, obviously I did. It was. I saw Kyle's text about it, but excuse me, haven't seen the video yet. Well done. Look at you, Kyle. Hundred eight points. I'm back up, slowly but surely. And what's I want to do to the point out? First I said swaying with the fifteen. And when Kyle Pick Sam Mitchell, a couple of us for like Hasse put up that money points this shit. I had no idea who that even was. He's got it. You got him twelve voyts and fantasies past week. No, I know, I'm sorry. Brought that up and telling goody are has got him ten. All three of us goal he's played. But, like I mentioned, if you flip a couple wins around, for a Peyton Duran, which was against us, was against the Rangers, that would have been even bonus points there. To Adams answer, Rangers too played strong. Yeah, Adam Foss said, obviously Bernard split his games in Maryland. You looking at another ten, twenty points or something like that. So it's a huge swing and we've seen how fast this thing can turn around with my roster the heck of a week. Well, yeah, yeah, reducy helped me out on the very first day with that big win over the avalanche. That got me I want to say like eleven or so points with the bonus points, right, and when when I go overview every box score, I have to go down each player to pit to see what that player got for stats and then add them in that way. So when I added in the four games from today, the last game I got to was the rangers, right. So I'm going through the spreadsheet and I'm like sweet, look at look at my total. A hundred and twenty eight point eight, like I feel pretty good. I had the most points of the four of us. And then I get to pick apart to assist for this guy and assists for this guy, and I go for this guy. I'm like, how is she passing me? I but she passing me, and then it's not even just passed. It's like, oh, okay, s's already passed me. I haven't in factor in the goalie win yet. So anyways, well, I thought on I was in a win the week. Brittany did when the week. Will Get to her points in the second because I do have to hype on two more guys for myself. Hell, and it's not Patricia good, but the first one is obviously Zack Simon, because he's just, yeah, yeah, one of the most razors. I want to put razorblades through my eyebrows and other pieces of skin thinking that we all could have had Zack Simon and we just say for Real, like, Oh God, he's got two first Thames. So, yes, who currently is tied for the LEA lead and points? He is fuck king. Yeah, you, Suda, and I actually have the player that's third in the league in points also. And Relax, and town. And what what do you say? I said, Oh my God, relax, sit down. Oh, okay, I will get up. I will get up instead. anyways, keep thinking. Yeah, DOT A, Terremoni probably will be the January fool. We were talking about Roy. Yes, Oh, I love Roy. Roy Is Dutch in terr money, for anyone who doesn't know, because he was rookie of the Year, Aka Roy. He's been good. Dynamite. Okay, wait, you know what else is dynamite? Roys in still yesterday. I don't give Jap. Kyle, I don't think you responded. Billion's fine, put up to bust. Look at like, Oh, I got that thing is. Oh, that thing, Beau, listen, made that the Queen, Little Body, big head, are you? Yeah, where your Crown Humper? Oh my God, yes, look at what she does. Yeah, it's phenomenal. Yeah, she's what kind? I know you saw Teramuti play this past week, like I don't. The MVP is going to be interesting this year because these teams haven't really seen everybody right. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. With last year we had problems with people voting and like or haven't seen this person. It's like, Oh God, now you really haven't seen this person. And what's been told to me a little bit is that obviously each division can pick their all conference within their division, but maybe the League staff has to pick the main oh my God, this is iconic. Sorry, I missed that. Honestly, I'm not being I'm not kidding, and they were. They were saying that maybe like no, for each division, the North can select their...

...first team, in their second team and in the central can select theirs, but for like the all EHL team and the MVP, the forward of the year, defension of the year. Maybe the League staff has to pick that, and I was like really, Oh my God, get us all in this zoom called fired by a. let's do it. I'm Miss Dude. We're going to be screaming and having like seventeen brawls or so. So he so here. I mean, I don't know if that's how it's going to play out. We'll see, but the question is, can Dante Tara Monty go from winning rookie of the year last year to most valuable player this year? Oh My yes, I'd be so cute. Yes, kyle of KLA in the media, yes, go on so intay. How cute. MONTHS AGO and at the Jersey show arena. I've watched him play on TV and just the amount of progression he's made on the ice is undescribable, phenomenal, and when I saw him play on Sunday night. This is an any show comparison to an ehl ratio. Bear with me here. I'm not saying this guy's going to get drafted number one overall the AHL. Relax, coaches, sit down. I know some of your work. The best things in the world. Your son is the best player in the world, I get it. But Dante Tara Moni, from October to now, the best player I've seen in person in the AHL. And he is city crosby like, and I mean that. He was all on. Listen Up, brother. It was all over the ice on Sunday. He's two way. He can do a backhanded pass, he can, I mean the way he finds time and space on the ice. Is why he got two goals in less than two periods on Sunday night against protech. Very impressed, and I know you guys know better than I, as Britney's on her cell phone and taking snappy's and self he's not listening to me. So we were just compared to say, Crossbay on the post for the Chhlli's Sydney crosby like, and I need that. Very impressive. So we're with me here people. He said that's my first day. He said you gold the seven S. they're deep, they're good, but for some reason there's other teams that don't give quote unquote, the South Credit. This one, gentleman, deserves credit. And when I saw on Sunday night, when I've seen in the last month is an MVP like caliber player. So if you like to challenge me, don't text me, call me, show up at the rink and let's discuss this, okay, and all seriousness, like I feel like I can name their first two lines, but like, he changes, he isn't. Yeah, okay, they maddie and Adam, change out the third and fourth lie like all time, and I'm like, I don't even know what your thirty fourth line is. We are talking about progression in two months, rookie of the year, and he's in the discussion. He should be. It's up to you to anyone whatever you guys in the rest. For MVP, in my opinion, he has eleven points in six games so far in he took heat over the game and I just him just scoring. It's him playing both ways, it's him playing center. Yep, and I'm sure you know Britty, you could probably back me up to you. You seen him play like. He's that good and to improve over that short period of time is isn't this what that this league is about, is development and during the pastial to forward of the month. Yes, that's a good point to like, this year was the hardest of all. You know, obstacles. Right, you had any mssory right on top of that. Yeah, ice was shut down for a while. People couldn't getten gym's and rinks and stuff. And you're still is considering California. Yep, it was a wiggle. CARVAT territory name and want you do. You know what I like about about my top my top two scorers, and him and and Zack Simon. How boy, five nine and five eight. Theyre my height. Crosby like a Science Simon squared the ice, the way he skates, I mean he's yeah, he's not overtch Gane, he's not connor mcdavid. He's and they said, I will say this, like a top five or if you were laughing any but if you've given any show comparison to Dante ter money, the way he says, the way you puck handles, the way he enters his zone. I'm telling you, like he's Sydney Crosby, like I will say this style. Top Five. Yeah, for a VP. Yeah, I'll what when we get when we log off for another? Yeah, well, we log off, I'll show you kind of how I've done it in the past. But Kylie, he's got three total two goal games in January. Would have loved for one of those to turn into a hat trick, but sorry, hat tricks do not answers do not result in bonus points. So do we need to talk about all of Brittany's Rangers points or could we know? No, I don't. I don't even know who scored my points, because this is pretty sweet. The Rangers scored. Okay, let's talk about the non real talk about yeah,...

...talk about my Luke. Yeah, Papa. I Got Papa points up that wazzle. I had a broadcast a couple of those things and it hurt me exactly what you say Papa. I'm thinking of Mikey, like when you come me being Jim pop BA. No, that's know what calls from Papa. But like the wizards kids called Papa Petro's Papa, like I've never heard that if I've never heard anyone call him Zachary and less, like he's getting screened up. And even that mother or something. Yeah, I guess for pop on the GM Papa, they can call him like she papa, but they just called Mikey Geh. My hearing it's Mikey g that's it period. But for Brittany's points, Gen Papa, yes, okay. For Brittany's points, we have to acknowledge that Estuda got her eleven, Non Ranger, eighty seven. Tid was that Simon for the League lead and points, Paul, he's got her eleven, not a ranger, lumberjack. We all hoped her out with that one. Yes, shot up George winner, fourteen points, not a ranger. Eighty seven. I'm a pet strows with the nine points. And then, obviously we have to also then touched on her rangers point. It's twelve for Nathan Young, thirteen for Andy. Oh, they Brits Commix. That's week commended to Almer. I'll let's go amazing. So just for everyone knows that this should be. It was this we and we were just using it. You were teasing it. Well, it's Hayle and Cookston this week, but we just totally gave away next week's Britz commits. I'm sorry, I forgot. I'm just so excited, like I'm just so excited. I'm so excited. This was my I am the most excited for this commit this is my oh my God, I just feel like a proud mother. Oh God, well, proud mom, it's me and younger, oh my goodness, and just can't wait. anyways. Sorry, all right, so we'll scratch that one for next week and make another week when we can just do it. No, no, no, still have just maybe making another week, but no, thank you. Oh, no, thank you. Yeah, so I'm keep the faits gas and breath. Keep them guessing, kid. Oh, weirdly express. So yeah, commits this week is Halen Cookston by PORTRANJULA. How you dyling bud over? You're good. So that Goodie, our Kiddieah, my guy. So sorry. We, as we sat the shipped our way towards the roster trim. For those that are curious, Brittany has five rangers forwards, to Rangers, defenceman and two Rangers goaltenders. So you could keep all ranges. Yes, shoot down. No, I know that my defenceman are gonna Change Up, and I guarantee you you guys can. How made do I get? Are you get for for to? Okay, so I know who three of my four are already. I guarantee you you can all gut through. My three of four going to be La Paula? No, no, no, Jack, George are my three. I John who? The fourth one's gonna be Popojeck, very beautiful Joe Don's ex any and the jets. Yeah, it's Jimmy and the jackets. Je Not do in the Jacks. Right through that song on the radio. I'm like, Oh, there you go already. The one thing that I will say, it's scary about Britty's team going into this final week of the month is just like Jeff and Donny Fellman, you have Brittany and Ricard Chilensky's Oh, I forget, he like a syst some shus because they have been played in mad long. So it's you, Jader my cannot wait to see what you try and do with your forwards, because even though I told you to look at it over the weekend, on Monday night, when we get on to talk about this, you're gonna be like, Oh my God, what do I do now? I already like, I wish I could pick these three. Well, like, that's really beautiful the story that run my head, because then we would really just scream, get up bick. But like, how can you not pick these three? Like you get the pick six? Oh, oh my God, Great. So my three will be a more j more and younger, those who three of them for more young. Where are Young Dhi Fun? Do you not pick a more Jay Moore younger? Have you guys? I would be literal moron not to. I'm a lot of things, but moron is only some people one and right now our question. Neil, you gotta put we don't need to answer this now in the podcast. which fantasy team has the most diverse line up in the sense of who is the most players from different teams? Obviously it is mine. No secret there. It's the just out of curiosity, and maybe that's a bonus point thing, like no, no, thank you. Yeah, when you do, talk to me when you guys are in first place. I'll be jerry was think a player from every team in the League compared to have your team is one team that should be talk to me when you're in first place. And and I would like to challenge the people because I know I'm going to be outvoted on this because, Bertie, you look, you're...

...the Queen, I get it all and I am literally kicking everyone ass. But if we go over twitter right now and say what is the better option? What is more fair? Kyle McKenna picking players from just about every team in fantasy or Britney Hart picking half for a team from one team. I'M gonna to win and I'm not in this fantasy BS to lose. I'm not in this to lose. No, ma'am, I don't lose. I pick who you gotta picked a win. Boys, we started this last year. Deal was very big on switching guys. We yes to get different teams. So I would lean towards him having the most diverse of all of us. But it's like looking right now, I can tell I just counted. I think ten for me and ten for Kyle. Okay, so, but with that, let's enjoy the last week of the full expanded rosters, right, and I cannot wait to see how you guys trim these things now, because it's not easy. It's really not easy. STAGS and folks set up them. One player off, Rama the second you from one player off, he's going to go off the next. Yeah, no, quintetit you right to at double off right there. Yes, sorry, one that. With that, enjoy this week's games. Will Talk to you twice next week, once to trim down the rosters and wants to recap what happened. Heck Yeah, let's do wor of Waf folks. Bring it. I'd like to see what she got. See Your crew, see you at the rink. Thanks for listening to the show.
