On this week's episode, at chat with Eric Sorensen, a former assistant coach at both Nazareth and Williams and the new head coach at Rivier University. The rivier raiders are a new program they'll kicking off their inaugural season at the NCAA division three level this upcoming fall. Along with this week's exclusive interview, the e crew breaks down all of the new faces coming on board for the stretched run and recaps the fantasy points that have been a crude so far in two thousand and twenty one. I'm joined now by Eric Sorenson, the head ice hockey coach at Rivier University, as we all men go on. Good thanks for having me the I appreciate it. We're looking forward to, you know, this conversation to thanks for coming on. Obviously we talked about this. I think it's I had a game a month or Solargo you've been out recruiting a lot. Obviously you're starting your first season at the division three level with this program next fall. How many games have you been to so far? I don't know the exact number. It's you know, I've been trying. My first official day I believe it was November thirty, so the Monday after Thanksgiving. So it's been a pretty hectic first six weeks, I'd say. You know, obviously we're starting to play in October, so I've been trying to get out to as many games as it possibly can. You know, obviously within the region here at the start and we'll go from there. And I know it's not Your First Year coaching at division three. You have prior experience as an assistant coach at Nazareth and at Williams, but obviously you eventually wanted to climb the ladder. Had It always been a thought of years for it to be with an inaugural program or is this is how it worked out? Yeah, I mean it was one of those things where I've had conversations with people in the field about, you know, would you go to a new program that doesn't yet exist, and I kind of have always thought yes, like why not? And it worked out that way that it was riverer that it was a new program it wasn't like it had to be a new program but it was always kind of alluring to me, something interesting to me, I should say, because you get to kind of create your own culture, you get to, you know, establish something that you can kind of look back on, that the players can look back on with pride, you know, after a number of years. So everything that people are going to see on the ice next season, obviously, from the players and the systems to, you know, the uniforms in the equipment that we use, is coming down to me right now because there's no assistant. So it's there's been a lot of steps, a lot of processes, you know, and things I've learned along the way, but I'm excited about it and I think we have a, you know, something that we can you know, really sell, both academically and athletically, two players with it all falling, I guess you could say, on your shoulders. As it make you nervous at all, I think you I think. I mean I would be a liar to say you know, no, but it's a quiet confidence that I feel on myself. I've been fortunate, like you mentioned, where I've worked before, to have to fantastic bosses and George Roll and Bill Canghis. I've learned a lot from them, you know, from the simple things that x is and nose INS and outs of the game to, you know, managing a locker room, to dealing with, you know, people. You know, because at the end of the day we're in the business of people and relationships and you know. So I certainly feel confident and where, you know I'm at in my career and that this was the right time to make this move. So let's go through it, because I want to talk about the whole path that you had. You played in college at Western New England and then you went on to coach right away. It was the season right afterwards. was that always a goal of years? Yeah, I made that decision. It was so was the summer before my senior year, I was able through connections, as you know, in the sports world that's the you know, any business really, that's so huge your network. And I had an internship in Nashville with the predators and it was kind of at that point in time as I watched them go through free agency and I saw the entire coach and staff be involved in, you know, targeting who they wanted, and not just, you know, the GM but you know, the assistant coach is obviously the head coach, the strength coach and that sort of thing. That was when I decided this...

...is what I wanted to do and then from there, yeah, just kind of right place, right time. After I graduated I started working for a private company that did lessons and that sort of thing at the rink that Nazareth College, you know, played out of. They had a great assistant there that left for Division One job in jared Michael, and they needed someone with a goalie background. So it just kind of right place, right time and that's how I got into it with those guys and you spent four seasons that Nat's Nazareth, then two seasons at Williams. Obviously the goal was ultimately be a head coach as you work through all those years in the assistant every path's different, just like hockey players. But it was was it in the back of your mind I want to have ext years of coaching before I go for that head roll. And what was that number? You know, I never really thought that there was a number. I mean I it was just something where when it when it happens, it happens. Like much like the players, you can't really worry about the future and where you're going to be and how you're going to get there. You just kind of have to focus on where you are at that point in time and work hard, and that's what I did. Now. When I was at Nazareth, it was a great four years, but it was one of those things where, I think we all understand this, it was time for, you know, something new. I had learned a lot from George. I loved where I was, but it was time to challenge myself and that's how I ended up, you know, at Williams. And then, you know, we had a great season last year, won the nest cat regular season title and and again this you know, this fall, when this job opportunity came out, there it just felt like it was time for a new challenge, and that's that's kind of how I got to this point. And if this was a normal year and all of the vision three was playing right now, would you feel, I don't know if the term is left out, but would you feel almost left out because you're only recruiting right now, is opposed to having games to actually coach? How would that make you feel? Good question, good question. Now I don't think so. You're still seeing the guys on the road. Obviously there's no you're not doing practices and that sort of thing and not in the ice communicating with players, but you're still involved in the college game. You're still having conversations with guys. You know when you're going to showcases. You know if I'm at Rodman and I see a bunch of bunch of coaches like I'm going to be there talking. So when I feel left out, the same level of excitement would be there. That there is now really looking forward to, you know, get in this program up and running. So good question, though, and in terms of Rivy or now it's talking about the new program. What I love about division three hockey, at least for us, for the EHL. It keeps growing. It seems like there's a new program at least every year. You know, you look back at Alberta's, madness or Bryn athon. Have you thought about reaching out to those coaches for some insight or do you lean more on your athletic department at River Year? Definitely, and I was one of the things when, you know, I accepted the job the following week, I was on the phone with with those guys. You know, Kyle Walack has been at Alberta's. Has Been Really helpful. Dave mccaulay, you Anna, Maria. You know, all these guys have been fantastic that have done it recently that I've reached out to, and then guys that have just you know, I that's one of the things I feel really fortunate about is the hockey communities fantastic. The coaches at the division three level that I've spoken with, Division One level that I've spoken with all been really helpful and letting me know if I need anything. Obviously those guys are important. I'm you know, as I've been putting together the schedule, but certainly guys that have gone through it. You know, it's always interesting to pick their brains on things recently and that's definitely something that I did in the first, you know, few weeks for sure. And what's going to be, I think, interesting for you is obviously you go from Nazareth, who was a annual contender in their conference, to Williams, who you mentioned. You won the regular season title in the NESKAG which is a very competitive conference, and you're taking on a brand new program and we're not going to talk about wins and losses so much, but you know that it's not going to be the easiest thing in the world to start a brand new program. What is the Athletic Department told you are the goals? Have they pointed out wins and losses, or what have they really pointed at for what they wanted to do in the first year? Yeah, I mean there's no there's no threshold as to like this is a successful year, but I think you know coming here the expectation is to do all right away. And again, hockey is a crazy sport, because I didn't any given night any team can win, no matter you know, what or who or where they are in the standings. But we certainly have that expectation and that's going to be reflected on on to our players. You know, guys, and it's this old cliche, but it's guys that hate to lose more than they love to win. To me, measuring success is going to come down to just making sure we're looking at this in a data oriented way. It's the process of...

...it. So what's that mean? Well, how you know, if we win or lose a game, we have to be able to look back at it and say, how did we play in a number of areas and then analyze those areas and then focus on getting, you know, one percent better, you know that day, that week, each day that we could practice. So you know, I wasn't given like a hate. You know, we need this many wins from anyone. But certainly they started this program for the right reason and it's and it wasn't, you know, just for something random like they they want to have a good program and I want to have a good program and so we're trying to go about this and in the right way, in a professional manner, and I'm sure you have a full checklist of items that you need to work on, and obviously number one being recruiting. Right now, I haven't had had to ever do it like you guys have at the college level where obviously it's a pretty unique year where for your program you don't have to experience this, but for other programs they're dealing with whether or not their players are going to come back for another season. Obviously, every every grade, grade year in college right now gets an extra year of eligibility. So when I say come back, I'm talking about the seniors coming back for one more year. How does that cycle down and impact you? Have you had a lot of talks with players that are kind of talking to other schools and are waiting for decisions from them. Yeah, definitely, I think. You know, I think that's it's just a tough spot for for a lot of guys right now. You know, obviously, like you said, some universities with players being allowed to have that fifth year, you know, makes it difficult for college coaches to make decisions and makes it difficult for players to you know, their timelines are off and certainly that's something that I've mentioned two different guys. Buddy, this is such a major life choice, a major life decision for them to, you know, not only decide where they're going to play hockey but, truthfully, and more importantly decide where they're going to get an education, because that's going to set them up for, you know, the rest of their lives. So just making sure that players know that what's going on right now, as unfortunate as it may be, as far as you know, roster spots. But we want guys that want to be here. We want guys that are going to come in compete on a daily basis and practice and then, obviously, when they get their opportunities and earn them and for Games. But you know, it's a great question, but it's it's just a daily conversation with everyone. Certainly it's the daily grind and obviously you're already actually committed three players from our league too, from the Wallpole Express and Jacksonists and Eric Buckles and one from the New Hampshire Avalanche and Carson Fotheringham. I know there's others that you're probably talking to still and probably close to offering us well, but those three in particular help you start to build a foundation. What do you like about that group? Yeah, it's funny. They're you know they're there. You'll hear a couple about a couple more here in a little bit from the League as well. It just happened today. So but no, I mean what I like about the guys is that they they want to succeed, they want to be good members of, you know, the community of revere, and that means in the classroom as well as on the ice. They all compete in some way, shape or formim they've all had to grind to get to a point where they are in their careers where they're getting, you know, an opportunity and an offer to, you know, play college hockey. I think you saw that and coach Campbell, cody Campbell's tweet about in the story about how hard Eric, you know, had to work to be at the point where he's at. But you know, they're all quality players but most importantly, they're all good people. And you've obviously recruited the ehl before and it kind of want to tie in past players that you've you've brought in, you know, looking at Nazareth, the one that obviously stands out to me goes back to my first year when I was in the League. Michael Tilford played in goal for the KINDIC and rough frights. I'm pretty sure he's one of the all time winning a goalies in the EH shell. He went to join you at Nazareth. Was a UCHC goalie of the year. You brought in the goalie in queue there as well, who was the goalie of the year runner up, Jackson Shanley, is a captain there this season, Casey Kubara. When you look back on players like that that you brought to Nazareth, do you try and find similar players out in junior's right now and compare them and say this player could be my Michael Tilford, where my Jackson Shanlee at riverer? Yeah, definitely. It's funny like with with Tillie, just from the moment we spoke can and he just had a level of interest, but a level of composure and professionalism in them. And when I coached him, and I was able to coach him for two years before leaving, he always had questions,...

...he always wanted to improve and it didn't matter if I was talking to him directly or another goaltender, he was listening in. And so when I talked to coaches about players, whether the goalies or not, you know it's you know, do they love hockey, do they want to learn? Do they want to improve? And it was just just a gradual, you know, increase for for Tilly to become the goaltender that he was to win, you know, goalie of the year last year in that league and it was very proud of him for it. And and then with with Jackson, just again a player that gradually improved like he was a kid, you know, when we took him the best, the best thing I can the best way I can put it, as just a quality person. He was a captain of his team and you knew that some day he'd have a letter. But again, he worked for everything that he was given. He became a really good penalty killer for for George Down there, or over there should say, and someone that he can rely on and just approached it in a professional manner. So certainly those guys are in the back of my mind when I'm going out there and I'm looking at players. Most definitely, and when I compiled the list of players that you've got to coach before before we on this interview, what stood out to me? Oh, the team's obviously there's a couple rough Friday there's in there, but I mentioned a rangers player, a cyclones player, who are in the league anymore, but the junior flyers player, a lumbridge player and avalanche player. There's a variety there and I'm sure there's still a variety right now. It's easier to get a sense of that variety when you see that variety at showcases. Obviously, how much have you tried to see what you can in person, but also see what you can online, because you may not be able to travel down to the New Jersey teams or the Connecticut teams and so on. Yeah, good question. You know, I think that's this, being my third institution, I've had the, you know, the pleasure of growing my network amongst the coaches in the league. I think it's the beautiful thing about the ehls, the accessibility that the you have to the coaches. You know, the it's easy to use the website to find the numbers. If it's a new coach and you don't have you don't have their contact but you know, I built those relationships with those guys, you know, over a peer number of years. So, you know, while there are no showcases this year, that's been helpful. And then, as far as you know, like the sevens for example, I have a browser on my laptop with with hockey TV and it hasn't closed all fall, even before when I was still a Williams like. It's just that's that's the way it goes. And you know, you just continue to watch as many games as possible within a day on it. So yeah, it's you know, you can look look at things however you want to, but you know, as Bill kangis would say, everything's just a wrinkle in the fact that there's no showcases. You have to find a way to get the job done still. So, certainly as far as in person and being in New England, you know that was helpful the first six weeks of this, you know, being able to get out to as many games as possible and as many rinks and see as many players. We had a good amount of interest off the hop here and you know, just continuing to follow up with guys and continuing to use hockey TV to the best of its ability. And one part of it that's so unique about this recruiting is obviously you guys are going to start off as an independent program which, when you look back on it, it may have helped you, because I'm I know nest cat can't go out and recruit right now. I obviously you still have to get clearance through your athletic department to go out and travel and see Games in person. Ultimately, to three years down the road, do you want to see Rivy Er in a conference? Yeah, I think actually there's been some really good conversations behind the scenes on that. You know, we expect there to be a development here and then your future with regards to that. So what I like about is is it's going to give us a chance to compete for a championship when that does come through, and that does you know, when the information gets finalized, because ultimately that's, you know, that's why you play. You want to play to win a championship and and to give our players, our student athletes, that opportunities is huge for me. So, you know, our Athletic Director, Joan Merril, has been really, really good at, you know, behind the scenes and working on that and I feel good about where the direction that's going right now. It's awesome here and I'm going to go a tiny bit off track for a second with more of a random type question, and I've asked if you guys in Aurli because I don't know what it is. I wasn't a goaltender, but a lot of guys were and for some reason, especially in our league, there's a lot of former goals that are now coaches. And I bring it up because you're a former goalie as well. Is it something about coming from a position we always saw...

...the full ice? Is that what made you want to be a coach? But what is it about about this trend, if you will, I truly do think that's a part of it. And you stand there for sixty minutes when you're in that and you're watching the whole game unfold. It was funny, like I can think back to my time at western New England plan for Greg effort in and like I remember just coming in and asking for the laptop to go over my shots and like I wanted to see, like if we were playing Westfield, you know, what was their power play doing, because that last time we played on my you know the I gave up to you know whatever it was. I wanted to know what it was and it just became this thing where I was just always interested in that and that's obviously a big part of coaching. So obviously not the speak for everyone else, but I think certainly the goal of union would say, yeah, we sit there and we watch the whole game and you know, maybe arrogantly we say we're the smartest guys, but also the ones that are viewed to be the craziest. But certainly I think a big part of it is being able to sit back there and watch and analyze. You know what's working that what's not working. Is huge and I think it's just so unique because obviously when a game is going on, you have one goalie in net. It's not like as a coach, unless you know things aren't going well, you're not going to change that guy. So then with whoever you hire for an assistant. You know a lot of our teams in the League have a head in an assistant. They kind of split up and one guy runs the forwards and one guy runs the D and I always find an interesting to see where those goalie coaches fall, because it seems like in their mind that it's one is being the goaltender and then to they look at themselves as a forward guy next. Where do you ultimately think you're going to fall on the river of your bent? You're going to help run the forwards of the D? That's a good question, I think, for me. I've spent the you know, the first six plus years in my career trying to round myself out and I feel certainly comfortable in it. I just I'm looking for the person that's going to be the best fit, you know, for the players, the best fit of someone to work with that's, you know, hungry to get out improve the program both through players and on the ice with, you know, skill development. You know where they fall. We will see. We've gotten some good interest so far, but that's not something that will cross until probably later in the spring, early summer, you know. So I don't want to give a concrete answer right now, but I certainly feel like, you know, it's going to be someone that has to add value to our program and I'm excited about it because we've actually played a few games and what's going to be your future home, Conway Arena. Can you just talk about that facility and what you guys planning to do with it? Yeah, great question. I think Conway's again a beautiful rink. It's an off campus drink. It's just over three miles. It'll take four or five minutes to get there from campus, so it's an easy, easy ride. You just hop on three and you get off three like the next sexit root three, the next exit later, which is Great. You know, working on that relationship right now with the rink's been great. The manager, Gary Warner, has been fantastic. We actually met with him last week to plot out our practice schedule and let him know, you know, some of the home games that we booked so far. So I think that I'm most excited about is, you know, we'll be building our own space over there. You know, the rink is an old it was built in like two thousand three, two thousand and four, and it looks like it was built two years ago. Like they've done a good job keeping it, you know, up, but to be able to go in there and put up a new space, I think is is that's going to be, you know, first class. is going to be great, because we want to run this thing professionally on the ice, like a division one, and we want it, you know, that to be kept up and treated that way off the ice, and I think the university has done a great job, you know, supporting that vision and I think, you know, the partnership with the rank so far has been great as well to you know, continue to move the needle in the right direction. I think you made a great point there, because I'm when I walked in for the first time I was like, this place is nice, like it looked like it was brand new. It was very, very bright and very well lit. So I hope we can still play games there next year, even when you guys are the new main tenant, if you will. So I appreciate you coming on the PODCAST. I'm sure we're going to see you at another game here very soon. Oh yes, I will. I will be out and about, that's for sure. I appreciate you taking the time to get me on here and and it's been great talking to you. Thanks again to Eric Sorenson for coming on the podcast this week. The head coach at Rivier University was going to be a new division three hockey program next fall. We're obviously excited to see them get started. Pretty cool to have, I guess you can call it breaking news there while I interviewed them, to more kids committed to his school while we're going through the interview there. So you'll have to watch out for those stories soon. But let's now welcome in the e crew. Guys. We have never recorded at a time like this.

We have not to record it at bedtime. Looks this is this is a too for deal with. This is the second we can roll. Last week I think we broke our record for lays recording and then we're did it again. Yes, try not to do that next yeah, is it like the show after dark condition? That could be. I means the FCC. We got like the safe harbor hours, so we can just, you know, fist. Yes, that's kidding. Family show. Family show. So obviously we always drop the podcast on Thursdays. We're recording this Tuesday night at almost about ten o'clock, which is a good hour and a half past Britney's bedtime, but it's gonna be. It's we have six games tendingly tomorrow, but those games will be finished by the time this drop. So that's a little bit interesting. But let's make sure we introduce everyone. Jeff Mills, Britney Heart and Kyle Mc kind of make up my e crewing guys. Before I started hitting record, I mentioned to you that I had a great way that I wanted to intro this one. So one of you know common saying that everyone knows is there's good news and there's bad news. So right now. I think that myself, Jeff and Kyle have to give Brittany credit for something, but we also have to take a shot at her for something else. So which one do we want first? Brittany also like I'm too tired for this. Shoot the shot we okay. So, on an episode over winter break, you pointed out how, Oh God, I've probably said I don't even know what I said. After time I don't even know what I say. So wandered out how most of the teams were set with where they are at. That has changed over the last what did I do? What you can douse. You said that. You said most rosters were what they were going to be. Oh my God, it's like Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Dude. Last night, I already said this in the group CHAP, but the folks at home don't know. I okay. So, as you said, it's like an hour and a half hast my bedtime. I get so tired of like a PM because I like, I swear, I got I'm just seventy five years old. Whatever. It's on the point. I'm like going through rosters last night just for fun, like yes, that's why I do for fun. People so shut up, leave me, like literally, shut up. I don't hear it, like it's Monday night, apm like what else do you want to do? Regardless? And I'm like, Oh my God, the amount of rosters with blank head shots, like who are you? Who Are you? Who Are you? And I'm like, finalis rosters who don't know them. We will get into my favorite ad of this. Are we getting into that later, once we get into a round the show? Yeah, okay, so you guys can hear who my favorite ad of the actually, it's gonna shock everybody. It's gonna shock everybody based on the team that this person went too. So just wait for that layer anyway, is the rolling stones. Yes, Oh my God, I love wait, okay, Te's look yet. That's not. It's not, not a hard shot, but I just thought it was funny that on one episode you said that the rosters we were where they were at, and I don't even remember saying that. I mean, I'm pretty sure that every single coach just came together instead. Let's prove her wrong, because a lot has fat like, screw this, broad but will give you credit. Also, we're going to get to this much later in the episode. We were all over you about your Rangers Squad, and in an experiment number one, you got this pretty fancy team. My Experiment Numero, who know, has gone better than I could have expected. Again, so we will get into it now. We will reveal my point total from the day later on. Actually already did on twitter, but whatever. But my favorite addition, what would the word be? Clashes Suirt. My Bridge doesn't work right now. It's too late. My favorite audition clashes with my fantasy team for the day, for the day, just for the day, though, it happens. Yeah, we'll get there later, around the show. Blah, blah, blah, next oh my God, it's because at least suckle big, I think, writtany clearly after thirty is just like an ill tempered penguin. But anyways, nearly a coming. That's me, twenty three. That's me when I'm not sleeping, getting time that I'm not saving. I'm just forced to be reckoned with like the rat. What is it? Rap, Dude, my brain street up is the work. I'm gonna stop talking. Might be time for you to get the bean bag on real I must like leg in my gunner. Now I'm like I word ones Bommy to set my alarm clock. I guess our homework, guys, is to come with a name for her alter ego. Well, with that will start making our way around the east. Definitely, Ashley. Sorry, it's time for this week segment of around the show. Around the show was brought to you by the junior hockey podcast, your hope virjunior hockey news, knowledge and nonsense. Check them out at tjh podcastcom. I think what we should do is go down each team and...

...point out the new player on each team. Oh, there really, that's going to take us the whole time? No, there's. There's no wall pole express roster alone will take US thirty minutes already. Jobs faster. Awesome, cody. I mean it's that's really interesting. The wapple expresses, everyone knows. Now in the Central Division, the new fancy division of the HL's, we moved these roads. They're in second place usually. I mean, if the old saying is, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, but cody said let's let's break it. But this one of the broken races right there. Yes, he's sending a Messinga the week. Yes, and it goes back to that that at large right, like yeah, I think today, this moment, the three of us would say the yeah, the avalanche of the favorites in the north, the Rangers of the favorites in the central and the eight hundred and eighty sevens are the favorites in the south. Who I know that we on a past episode. Brittany and I said that we thought the sevens would win the regular season championship and Jeff and Kyle thought the Rangers would. Obviously, whichever team does gets the protection that you never had before of having that at La art bid, meaning if you lose leading up to the finals, you still go. Now, if the three division winners went on their own, then it's that fourth team, which right now would be the express. But you got it. In the PROV codes are get up or welcome to we don't know yet. Damn, I'd screwed that one up. Welcome to the frozen finals, cody. Yeah, yes, our frozen files. I will say this. They're not going to be in Providence. For those listening at home, if the Providence Bruins can't practice, that'stur arena. The ehl can't host their finals, that's neither arena. So that's true. It's it's so breaking news, sir. Sorry, I'm sorry I did that. The province Bruins are going to the New England Sports Center. Yes, more. That's like, Oh my God, while this year. That's how wild this year is, like the State of Rhode Island is not letting an AHL team play there right now, practice there right now, like it's just a wild so many SC rink one. Yes, that rank just reminds me of the ABCDEFGHIJKLMIP, etc. League. Absolutely. I usually just say the alphabet league. It didn't know how far you going to sell off the I know I was like drowning. Call Twenty six here. Midway through that you were like should I stoped right, though. Should I start? It's all of the Post Bruins. That makes sense and I feel they have all their showcases there. I've been to one of the Ashen say that I've never been actually it's eight sheets of or stuff put in there. Used to have six sheets, not leave eight sheets over. These ruins can help. That's it's a covid testing. That's true. Were parking lines, yea is yeah, wow, and that place is a monster. You've been their NEL, Brittany. Think you've been there, Kyle? I'm sure if you've been there. But the all of the province runs two thousand and twenty more to see. I've a feeling I have that looks like a mall. It's so big. The place is massive. Think about Snyder. Is Like when you're at college and you literally have like gay around Your College. You can control who comes in and out. You know the testing protocols. Not that we are we would be rogue and just come in and rip covid through their campus. Right. We'd make sure everyone got tested before. But you have to take every every every stafety protocol that you can. And obviously the Providence Friar season is more important to providence college than the EHL. That shouldn't come as a surprise to anybody. But Oh my God, finals, but make it somewhere else. How? Like I kind of hate it. Well, gonna be Weird. You'RE gonna be so weird to last like what our guess? Not last. You doesn't count. Two years before that, like providence was the spot. Come on, back me up, back me up. Twenty, nineteen, yeah, two thousand and eighteen, nineteen and two thousand and seventeen. Come on, I'm just listening to country road, take me home, plfs eight hundred and nineteen. I'M gonna get email against stop it, stop coming up north to you. Yeah, problems. Is Great Town. We talk. No, no, no, almost, okay, I get I almis just I want to have you guys over my house, and Cranson, Christina and me were ready to have that goes for you're basically you know how I can college hockey. They announce who's hosting like a regional or an event. Yeah, Jeff is the host of the frozen finals or an. Its home for fifteen minutes away. It's rights some royal hut skipping the jump from Schneider arena. Hey, for what it for what it acts. Yeah, for what it's worth. With I got open the calendar. Hold on here, hold on here, club and meek mills, it's already it's already locked into the two thousand and twenty two frozen finals and providence will take place from large twenty three hundred and twenty seven. But we got to walk for all of you to sleep. If you want to come on over, yes, we have to get through this year's finals first, which we're going...

...to there's a lot to happen between now and then, though, and there's there's a number of new players. Pretty we won't name all of them. Of One it's the one kid I will. I'll let you cover that when we get to the central I have a few that I need to point I have a few that I need to point out in the North Division because I watched seacoast play. I called one of the Games this past week and did your kneel from the north. So you must report us on sake from the what am I? I need like a clue. There's nothing with a bee, though. Pretty trucks, jr any from Britney's junior rangers, remember that. God Up, the folks at home haven't seen my logo. That's a different story for a different we we can sleep that down this summer. They can Britty. The spartans have a line that they brought in from the eclipse. I'm not sure if you guys know this. Like this is their line, like they play together, their pass, shoot, score. Yeah, it's shoot so this. Oh Wow. So so number seven, number nine and number ten. Cooling words. Don't know. The Cooper Board, Conrad Schmid and Shaun O'Gorman, and they each have like all right. Word's been all over the box for seven points. This passed, yeah, or too set points. Now now we don't support scoring the game winning goal and then doing a drive by at the other team's bench and then your own bench, because that's right. I am some other things I don't support, but we're not going to guess. But that line has been excellent. Jeff, I don't want to call you out too much for fantasy, but clenton Stewart was like, I don't want to get points for Jeff, but then when Jeff drops me, I'm just gonna light it up. Six or seven assists last week. I guess what I will. I don't get about that team. is like what happened over winter break, that you had lost eight straight going into whatever break and then you come back and it's three straight wins against the lumberjacks. I think they just eat. I think of the week. They eat their break green apples on the break and they just decided that hey, break green apples are my thing and they're going to help fuel me to be healthier and and get ready for the second half of the season. And and then I'm sorry, man, I'm sorry. Thanks. It's don't know, and then when we recorded this last week, I asked you the question. Who are the lumberjacks? I feel like we ask that question about like half the teams of the League. Who has you think? Who gave winning street to name Bender for Jimmy and the Jacks. Then they come back and leave me in the jacks and they sweet those good. That was actually pretty good. Yeah, if you I can use that in the future trailer. Please don't. But they sweep to wolves. Who the wolves give the avalanche fists at times. I just dont division. It's kind of like I heard. Maybe we know. It's like the hardest vision, according to Neil Justice, back the old vermonts. This week's who are no, it's part of WHO. Our segments pretty on this episode. Once we cover some of the new players. I actually was gonna to say that this central is now the toughest division. Yeah, welcome, it's been. It been the hardest. Belong a player, that wagon player that I need to point out to keep an eye on. In the north, though, a new addition to the avalanche is Sammy. Was It jeff that told me how to pronounce a yeah, hack a Ryan and hack a Rydan. That's what I'm going. That's what I'm going with tomorrow. That's what I'm going from the EBC ABC, who back? All right again, I it's too late for me. He can know whoever it's talking about. Right, he came from, you know, from the let me, let me screw up the alphabet for that. Yes, now let's get to that central division, because it's probably the division that has the most new faces. Yeah, just because of cody, know, the like the railers. Yeah, they got like one new kid and it's my kid. One, my kid. No, I'm you had one. You guys want to get my tick tock reference. But there's a ticket BEX. It says deep. I'm a mother. No drama. If whoever's listening to this tool, because they were too every is under the age of my age. I twenty two, because you're on twenty two or whatever. You'll get twenty one, right, twenty one seven. I need to go to jail. Yes, that artist, twenty one savage. Yes, a new player on the warriors and Otwo, name Hayden Riva, was supposed to play at the Birch Shire school this year, who's not playing at all. He's committed to union. First game it's like fact who's Dad Coaches Union? The Dad, the kid, used to play in the Ahl of the New York Capricorn. One hundred and twenty three. Go Neil, don't race Bennett. Moving on, remember racing big dog Rick Bennett Coaches Union. All Right, I have used today. Yeah, so he read the hurt first sight,...

...when he got on the ice, I was like, oh, he's not the biggest kid mean by Oh, to Matt Fusco or whatever kids first damn right. I'll be like a he'll be like a Nathan grbi type. Yeah, but falling dynamic speed. To keep an eye out on him. The Rangers Three Drecopolis. My it was not rats, my grass connection that held on. Ryan. Golf Clap for you, sir. Yes, hit us up in the group chat that we have. Who who's new on the Rangers? Brittany, I don't know his name really. He came from the New Jersey Hitman. Don't know his name. I honestly couldn't tell you but his name, but I do know he came from there. Really. Yeah, interesting. Yeah, I don't know looking sorry, but I do know he came from the Hitman. His name is Jack Slif key. That's sure. I don't know. We had some he got on the score sheet today, but I feel like half the roster did. But whatever. Any other than my two players and fantasy, I swear to God, how many Rangers have points today? At least like six. Yeah, I'M gonna go and baby, and could use nine goals. I bet you twelve. Guy Said points. I'm gonna go count all. We talk first lift key. All you gotta notice is six foot five hundred and fifteen. That's a what see, he's he's a he's an Agel Forte E. One. One gators got on the score sheet today, and that includes the goalie. Five to fifteen. That's like Mike Tyson driving to school bus. That's like clen Dennis Stewart's like the same size, massive human. Holy Hecky. Yep. So there that's a new player to watch for the Rangers today. have is there anyone new on the seahawks? I don't think there's anyone new on this. I think what guys saw. No, no, backtrack, backjack. I went through every roster in this joint. So I feel like I might have seen one. I think they do, you know. And the Hawks, there are people there are people who love the Zik hawks. But well, Bill was making a lot of additions before this. Yes, so maybe that's true. and Bill was a big bill was a big trade deadline guy lass last year. WHO's the Scott McManus kid? I'M gonna laughing. He's like three, like six games. Floyd is one, and it was just going to look at, look at, because first game played was one eight. All right, he might be new. Yeah, to watch a player to watch in the SEAHAWKS. The cheek. WHO's this kid? WHO's this kid? This kid was not here. Eva. His first game was also the eighth. Who's K here e that he steak. I love with me. I can say it was bad. I could say he was bad. I just said he's nail. That kid was not on the seas before I could tie after free Daven the Vondi. Yeah, right, not on the roster. All right. So, yeah, screw you know new seahawks, because I just found two. Said Shaw looks good anyway, since we have to get through this segment eventually, that she is trying to prove a point. Yes, and you've proven it. You, I've told you about five times. They of you were right about something. You we really met. Hey, everyone, just for so for the record, Neil didn't know how to do math again today. It's God. That's anyway. It's a new player for the chiefs. Played for the Apple Corps last season. Had three points in his first game with the chiefs, based another every one of the three goals they score. That's pretty good, toy vol Kramer, so keep an eye on all. I remember him. He was a big he was another big kid. Yep, we go, Kramer. Do you want to cover the railers? ME, here we go. You have other kids? All right, everybody. My one player for the Worcester railers. I saw this kid play for the first time three years ago, three he was like a little infant. So I'm playing for the first time three years ago at prep finals. Played at Tilton. Jacobinson, kid is sick. Oh Tilton, Hashtag. What're up, big good? Yeah, everyone knows true, everyone knows that. Like I'm a chilling fanatic. Like two of my best friends played at Tilton, like Nuggan and then Brendan, just a big shot at right there. Dude played sacred heart. Do you want to call? I'm a big Tilton girl. So when I saw I was like cruising the Ross r a sites like literally thirty PM, because like at that time, like my energy spikes. I'm like, what in the Christ's named Jagger Benson is on wooster. I like throw a fit. I was like no way, you know, was geeking out and rare now and whoa grabs anyways, and then I was like Yo, watch he was like, I don't know anyone who came, but I was like Brendan de Marco, Watch out. WHO GETS THE GOLD? Jagger Benson, who assist the gold? Bre Into Marco? Goodbye, I'm done. My advisor life done. I thought it was kind of crystal ball. Is Brittany with the Christal Ball? I was sharing your chryst of all, but no, it's been me. So yeah, Dagger Bunch, and watch out from not the only addition, though, for the railers. Sorry, that's the only one who they also added the player named Mike Deemaskola, who came over from pretty last pretty loves to say the alphabet and...

I've been told by the coaching staff to watch out for this kid. They also added a player named, I think it's coil, then caucus. He was the player who won the MVP award in the NA three last year. Did you see the numbers he put up? Me and I three. Wait, this is what me and Alex caaseer we're talking about the other day at a hundred and thirty eight points in forty seven games were johnny and all of Johnny Malon Drukloba. What? This is the site we're talking about. All these guys. They they just aid and they will sitting nine twenty two. Well, and that's where now I want to get to that in a second. I want to get to that second because, like they put it, we have to see how the NA three translates over to the EHL. Of course, this kids were different story. Hey, it's kids. Good, it's good. The game winner in the shoot out against the seahawks this past Friday. And they line up against the rangers and it's like, I think it's a matter of mental numb when somebody has your number, they have your number, you're like any and when you fall behind by two in the first naughty seconds, you just feel may be defeated. May Be the chemistry factor. To Neil, I mean bj ours, got the A is shift key, shueliff man, all right, shift clee and okay, kid from the hit man. I don't know if we get to see the only if he's the only addition that rich made. Everyone else has been playing together for not just this season. They have guys, as we've, you know, talked about this year, that played together on pe teams for years. So, yeah, their chemistry is about as good as it can get. Wooster, you got a lot of new guys. They can be shiny new toys, they can be great, but you haven't played together so you don't really know how everything works. So right, right, and I don't I don't think some of the like, I don't even know if Jagger like, practice with them. I'm pretty sure it was like boy game day, getting the line up. Buddy, here you go, have a day. You can be as town. I could be wrong, I don't know, but I from what I gather, there was not much practicing going on with the new kids prior to keywords. Keywords Chemistry. It takes some time to develop that chemistry. And we're recording this Tuesday. I think they play again. Wednesday before the podcast they played valley. Yeah, so the only develop I'm on it. It might be tenal, three PM, two archive. I've been time. I'm on it. But that's not the only beam bag, chairman. So that's not even in the central. The Wizards added the player. They added they added, Oh wait, Bennett Jung in goal, the goal. Yeah, he wait, he played prep school, did he not? No, no, you play down set curls. So He's gonna Compete with minutes, with Al till you were about to say that. Yeah, because I literally because I was eating everyone and their mom last give it you to yourself, like, Dude, imagine my EP profile be elite. You would like. You'd find a way to give yourself. You know, they put the little trophies in the corner of what the person this won. Yeah, they give yourself like three so when I drop you, give yourself three cups. People'll be able to like cut it. When did you in the cup? Like I am the avalanche score keeper. Blow, blow, blow, I'm just the queen every other year. First Year's the intern. Now we graduated and started for the bottom. Now we here. Yes, and then the last team in the central, endary. Last thing in the central, the express, who, I guess you could say, added the most guys and bringing it for new faces too, forwards. That I don't know, but in talking to college coaches and talking to Eric source sours and even he pointed out that these are two kids to watch. And why? At George and Dalton Garcia there's a defenseman named Todd Philibert who led Corpus Christie and scoring last year for defense. And then, and then they bring in Britain Patricia Oh, like steam right there. Fro Cli talks people kind that is like louding there like this is it? It's not for discussion. It's championship or Boston and like that blew my mind today when we were talking about those are pretty bunny. I don't know, Meek Mills, do we do we change our pics right now, because, I mean Boston's schedule got a little tougher. I know they want today nine to two. Yeah. Now, New Jersey, are you? Are you in the not in the queer but they're the edge. It's we're going to be interesting. Brittany, we're recording the central division. This s comes okay, Justin did you hear that? Actually the group chat when you get to this part of the episode. Thank you. Thank it. And Down South there's a few new additions as well. I know the eighty sevens added a couple players. I one of them was like a look again, I spent so many hours fun. Yes, so this is the one time people could be like, Oh, you do sper new do MORDP last night? Yes, that was the case. All Right, I'M NOT gonna. I'm not gonna Front. One kid was like local kids, the big chat of the locals. I I can't remember what the other kids situation was. To be quite on, it's fun, it's fine. Pretty was the savor food. Also dished. I don't know, also dish...

...some kids. Oh, I know one Camp Showski. Yeah, he's going, he's he's on. Oh my gosh, I need to He's on team Maryland, that is. Yes, and the names for the for the two players, the one that's from New Jersey, Matthew Za Danilitz, sure well, and Zach Lindenworth players. That who what the dogs outis kind of likes to say, come on, come on, I need a watch some please book. You know what? I texted head coach Adam, who let the dogs Upho who coolly, because I was hoping to go to the game tomorrow when they play the protect mechanist. But I will not be there. Always in your office till the law office to property custard. Gotta go say well at those going some property custard. I wanted to be touring cord you know it's a big deal. Yeah, and then some of the some of the other new editions in that division kind of came before the break to you know, like when the little fires added Gm Papa in in I want to say it was late November, early December. Obviously that's a huge help. We didn't mention any lumber jacks or rough riders because they missed most of December, but they're back now, like their full rosters are back. So, like, don't forget how good a tyler bona pain was, a Colin Bella was. It's like all fine, lease was. We're going to get. Yes, sir, yes sir, least he's before yes, before we get to fantasy kicking. Can't wait. I'm gonna like, I can't wait now that we're officially everyone has started the second half, or by the time the next week goes by they'll have played their first game of the second half. We're not going to do this every week, but we're going to make our predictions right now for who the teams will be at the front and finals and I will need it right now. No, yes, yes, we're going right now and I'll make it easy and I'll be I'll be non upset. I'm just going to say avalanche, Rangers, Express and eighty seven's. Wow, I am absolutely appalled that kneel's fourth team was his best friend coaster. I'm appalled. Wow. anyways, she's had the fire going all day today on twitter. That's because I've been on the edge. She's on the year. N I'm on the object. Someone heat me off the edge right now. The Ed Sports Center in Betrid. Massage. WHO WANTS TO GO NEXT? Not Just Gott. I'M gonna pick a winner of meats division and and a at large. So I'm thinking that I got my three division winners and avalanche, sevens or express or Rangers, and then they at large is the other one. All right, we'red to you. Am I going rest? Fool, brainy, queen, Queen hot this. You can go. I mean, I'm sticking with the same. All right, sevens, no brainer. Sorry, everybody else. B Jr, I get again. Everyone's to Paul. They pick them. Everyone shocked. Jesus Christ never thought dud come I'M gonna go. I guess I'll keep the avalanche with no comment. Then it my foot seamen. Get flyired, fired up, ladies and JAD's. I'm going pro she says the at large will be the flyers. That's because our last song I heard, because we before we got in this podcast, was country road, take me home, and that was pl one thousand eight hundred and nineteen. I almost you can say, well, that team so much. That could also mean that the little fires win the playoffs and then the sevens get the at larts. But we're just identifying the four team. You don't have to predict the division champion, just saying, well, I don't think it's not going to be the sevens, but what? Okay, well, then fan them. Actually, you know, we just talked about the nathree in they're like weird vibes. Sure you know who came from the Nathree? WHO's actually not bad? Oh, is calcool? Okay, Texas promos. What's off? Get up, yeah, he's my dog, love, I kid. Yeah, you know, not not bad. And the three Ad you already. I'm ready team. Let's hear it. You're not going to have the same as me. I can bet every cent in my bank account. Just gonna say it's so fast, so though I can just like get it out of my well. Two, three, go rangers as eighty sevens, wallple. The same as me. We're going with it right now. Jeff, all right, Kyle, come on, Kyo. Kyle's been thinking about someone's gonna screw that up. You know someone's gonna screw that up. Someone's gonna it's going to be Vermont. It's gonna be dud. That's why it's wanted to was he play on? He's it's not going to be...

...easy and it's a weird it's a weird year. Yea, is it not? Yeah, something weird is going to happen. Rangers, Eighty Sevens. I really I do. I want to take a little flyers. I see something there for a fact. It's like low key hard to pick the fourth one. It's this work. Can I go? Rangers, Sevens, Walpole, New England. Yeah, you can do that. You're saying the wolves are going to win the north. Yeah, there's something. It's just there's something about the avalanche, where with I feel like with this year, I don't think that the whole setup benefits them. Somehow it's the hardest road ever to the finals. Yes, in my vid, every team at a to make them used with covid and, you know, no disrespect to the other team to there is there's something about the little flyers, a group Brittany, that I I feel like they could. They be like a good march madness team. The little flyers fact, like they'd be the team that would like upset teams. They be like a date and no fences. New Hampshire. There's something about New England like you know, New England's ready to take that next step. Yeah, in Boston, Boston Walpole right now top two teams. It was gonna see the north but I can't say that anymore. Your picks can change to I think that little we did point out in Brittany's videos. No matter what, you have to win too serious to make it to the finals. That's never happened before. You've only had one and some people or some teams that have had buys. So it's going to make it interesting. But now with that we're going to transition into what to watch for, which includes our fantasy Brittany's favorite segment. Before we wrap things up, here's what to watch more this week in the east show. And with that it's time for the ECREU fantasy challenge, brought to you a biber tige's brick. I'Ven Pizza in Pasta your home for authentic Italian dishes, catering and dining. Check out their party pizzas and specials. Appert cheesecom so. With six games after the day after we're recording this, it's tough to kind of read the full totals that we're going to be at because there's six games. Were on eased to look at this. We should all get points tomorrow. There's twelve teams in action. If if I don't get points now, I quit. Body fired, new team. Don't even pick me for the out large or any of that nonsense. I'm done on this it. But let's let's point out some key players so far, because the order of in the standings really hasn't changed so so. First, for Jeff, as we all know, didn't make a lot of changes, but I think what's helped jeff a lot is Davis bone wasn't able to play in anything in December for Jeff, and then Davis bone comes and plays in January and he's got five goals to assists for powerplay points in twenty three overall points days. Maybe it's my tip some place in drammer school bus right, boys like like what he is. Yes, he is, and but the time of recording this podcast, right, Jeff, you haven't had a goalie play yet. It's okay, and it's like they've got me on my points so far. So I gotta let Georgie and Mason don't call me on A. Palmer rest a little. Yes, like it needs some rest for the stretch. And you want to keep going with the with the Vermont Trend, like we picked Paul find lease for Brittany or Britten yeah, I like, would like. I know we don't have it, but I would like a replay of the picking of Paul find these, because I feel like it wasn't just you people. I feel like I had a half of the day in my own pick. So don't let it go unnoticed. Jimmy and the Jackson, like I low key and something to dude my own pack. I'M NOT gonna lie and put I don't really recall the picking on it, though I'm not going to front yea and Paul's like we pick to for you, Britt School. Paul's like, Oh, these like I gave you back. Say, but whatever. Davis has twenty of you love you. I have. I have twenty two, with five goals on my own, to assist, to assist, and three power play points as opposed to for but it's like okay. And then all this week I was leading until the Rangers had to play a game and she goes out and gets thirty seven point four points today. That doesn't include any points from Paul find least or pop up up or Jack Johanson. That occurred prior to today. I got thirty seven point four points to day today. Is what I had to say. Britney up. Would you have six kids play today today? Thanks for guys playing like the less month. This is ridiculous. Yeah, way more than six, like a more, my dog, a more. Oh, to watch out for that kid, all those ranges, all our dogs, AH, my dog. Yeah, seriously, b Jr said, what's up? We here? Man, after that, come to the...

...math today, I had. I'm gonna say is thank you, Ryan Baby. Thank you, Marcus Cook. Will be both. She had rich too, the way. No rich took away. I saw that. COUKI got out of texted rich in game and I was like hello, I'm actually pissed off at you, and he's like, Dude, there's still twenty minutes left and your goalie had an assist. Relaxed and I was like I you would. Eight players contribute today. All say this this. They're not going to score nine goals every game. No, but they're also not going to score just one. Now they're playing the avalanche. Express you're playing all the you can't play the absolute all. That's nine goals, like when we were in Covid here we play everyone those fun yeah, Jeff and Kyle, why do none of us picked Johnny Melt and Drew Cola? Dude, especially be Johnny that I was. I was. I in a race today that like, do you know who you guys also got and I was like, I don't know. Use Literally Nils giving me like that's been like my quote unquote player, because I always loved Johnny and calling his name and always called Johnny Alphabet because he's got somebody Dave me out. By the way. All right, sorry, Johnny, but like we do it had a good faith. We do a heap waiting. Forgot about them because he's been injured. Yeah, yeah, sure, injury. He put up some good points before he was injured, but yeah, the injury. Yeah, nine, older nine points in ten games leading up to November. Ten for any of them. And then it's a was his first game back with a hatcher. and to this it's like, can we do a revise draft? Monday night we actually speaking of our vice dress when we kind of down. We have to cut it down from who we already have. Correct, there's no more addition. Correct, okay, and we're just speaking show after dark. Yes, so kids are getting cut I keeping with the theme of the lumberjacks players starting to give up or give us points. I got sixteen from eagan Smith as he collected six assists, and David Reducei, while the first start didn't go my way, he selected twenty one point four points for me so far, so I am go please with that. I have sixty six points overall, so we're heading in the right direction. I'm pleased with that. And, as Kyle mentioned, not many of his guys have actually got the chance to play. I think you only ask for guys that have played so far and stealing Dennis Arka Panko from Brittany proved to be very clutched for Kyle, because the French is right. Now. He literally suld some data against me. I'm convinced. Like this guy has to see, he has to see right now. Palas all yours. It's just under his jersey. This is what happened all pretty's players when she was picking weekly. They were just like, Oh, Broma, pretty, seem I'm going to good night. My Damn, what I hear you people, for Christ's sake, but don't worry, my squad has my back as movement. Then a minute, the minute they leave pretty, heartless as squad, they'd be like, Oh, I'm on pretty steam, I'm out a prison all right here, out of literally like Damn, as my team with jail sentence. Christ. Yeah, you know Bernie. We kind of reminds me of in fantasy. This is just in fantasy. Have you guys ever seen movie Major League? Yes, of course, you know, the owner in arm going this my God. No, yeah, I have the idea. That's kind of I haven't never seen this movie. So like of course, typically haven't seen any movie and whenever I see Major League, so you have to go to one I'm not a big movie person, as we can tell. My attention span is that of like a raft, so I can't. I mean I don't want a lot of movies either. They recommend watching it. You'd probably like it. I don't want to hear either, Brittany, but they have some like there's this some classic lines from it, like there's a scene where wild thing is pitching right with which is why don't Hashtag winning Charlie she yeah, but Charlie seen. He's Ricky. He's Ricky Vaughan in the movie right, keep on every when he couldn't hit like anywhere near the strike zone in the broadcast was like just a bit outside. It's like that wasn't just that, like you girls, like ten feet outside, like that wasn't even close. He was throwut like ninety eight, ninety nine, all our gas. Just something freaking kids, absolutely amazing. So Yeah, pretty is your homework. That'll be part of the two thousand and twenty two providence Finals Viewing Party of my house. Watch all will just bids all the good movies that and then, Britney, help me help you with with fantasy here. I'm praying you've seen Jerry McGuire. Oh we're still on the JERRYMAN. Jeremy, require should be much I was a college professor teaching a sports class or anything along the lines of that, it would be the guys, sit down, we're watching Jerry McGuire. You have to watch it. Know the fish are coming with me future that there's when I say homework, it's homework before the finals. Wait, what's that movie that rich told me I had to watch? Damn it, I brought it up...

...one son this art maybe it was not in this was onlike hockey movie Marigo the way before I've seen Miracle Joel, my God, and this really Alaska Man. Yes, dude, really got passed off at me because that there. Yeah, Rickie, and talking to you, I still haven't watching. You got pissed because I've never seen that movie. Listen, me and Gomara, because we've never used in the anchorman gifts in our chats. Now you're probably was so mad choice. There you go. I have mad movies to or weeks ago on the PODCAST I was like sending out like anchorman quotes, like left, in right, because like it was like m pretty sure you'll killed the guy, but he's like yeah, wait, what they go pretty three movies to watch between now in the finals. Hey, when you're nating the kids, just throw those on. It's fine. Literally Major League, awesome, Acraman, great kids movie, Awesome. Jeremycguire, therapeutic. It's nice. Yeah, so Dennis Arka Panko got kyle four goals and two assists, one power play point. So seventeen points. As I mentioned, the six games taking place the day after that. We're recording this. Obviously the game schedule kind of just gets really packed quickly and, as Brittany mentioned, right now we are at twelve, eight and three. Twelve forwards, eight defencemen, three goalies. Oh, when we get music, and we're not gonna covered BlaymN'tagram Staris and and he is? Is that the artist known as twenty one seven? Those meet Mills. So I'm real. My cousin anger wills. Dude, have you heard this on Philadelphia by Milo Dolph? Yeah, rolling into I'm rolling up in PLADELPHIA. MMM, so the Sun Mill, W I meek mills. If I'm like running on the TREADMILL, which I don't do. Fire Flyer me up. I'm ready to explorant. It's all pelts. On or nothing, now knows. Thing today, hiatus for the Pelton because I've been mentally unwell. But that's okay. We'll be doing that a different rest days are important to just make sure you hear Biosteel Hashtag. Promo, cody hl Hashtag. Am I getting my bio steel Christmas from the Ahl? Justin is gonna love nothing. Justin's gonna love this segment because he mentioned it to me. The ourday he goes, is Britty is gonna go and like see you at a game and handed the box and then you have to mail it to him, or can pretty go to the post office herself, slap the address on and then just mail up to him? So Pretty, when I see you at the Granite Cup? Okay, Oh, yes, there we go crazy, bring that box, put it in deal's hand. I copied and paste of the addresses in the email to the guy and I just copied hers twice, so both boxes went to her. I was a room is now, who is? Are you living the old part and then like her address or something? No, mean for you got a room me. Hey, I copy the I copy the addresses incorrectly. So that's why she has to that is like one of the few times if you left out in the group chat, ever, it's like all, Dude, love my bio steel. Britt he's like yeahs like, what are you talking about? And like and Justin always says like why can't she just go to the post office up a sticker on it and right his at it's funny because the Nanny Fam sends me to the post office to like during a call frequent the need a message for those funny peach myself just say raise money to send Kyle bio steal. Does it? Yeah, Justin has bio seal to right now. Justin dues, I was gonna say our executive producer. Yes, no, he doesn't have biosteal, I think. I think Justin would get the bio steal. It would like arrive in the mail to him and he would say I don't want this and send it back to me. That's tough. Is so good. Had it tonight when I went to the gym. It's yeah, excellent. I yell, greet it, dries it, tries vicky nuts to yell hydrate and then squirt it into my mouth. Stuff clear, but I like that. But you want to do that on Monday? For the grand couple. Just Ball. Bring my biles to bow your breaking sick. Be left out. It's fine. Don't invite me to the bio steal prety. You happy. You have to. You have to yell hydrate, though. Can We? Can we film it? Sure, like Hi, before we do an interview became I. I'll you guys jump in front of the camera. Ye'll, Hydra, do that and then I'll start my interview with Sam is gonna name a random person from the answer, but my brains got overwhelmed. So what is? What is that new application? You Young folks use tick, Tick Tock, Boomerang, Kick Boomerang. If we, if we had any show tick tock. Imagine if we had showcases this year and we had a tick tock. That would be business would be booming.

Oh my God, I would have the field day if we had showcases and I could be on, ticked on. I would have a field day. All my money. Twenty. I honestly had Texas Brahmas have a I mean lone star brought the Naeam. Lone Star has a tick tock. Grand Burke's always on it. Old Plf like Oh grim bird, jumping goalie of the year and he's always on it and it is so funny and I love it. We can discuss it in the offseason, obviously. Maybe the two thus twenty t be a tick talk about future. That's if the talk is still popping. I mean I will spend an hour and a half on tick tock after we get off this. But what was the the rest of us are open. Time hop comes back because a certain someone that's just I'm hopper. I should actually reached out the time hop and get them the partner with the League, because I use it every day. They look at your past time hops, neal, I think they would be like, you know what, we can make this guy sweet, this guy can make us a start. We should. We're getting very close to my time hop of when I had the handle bars, and then I have to do my annual post. That says. Should I regard those? By the way, should I've been this? Oh yeah, please. When when Vicky got home and I was like look at I shave my beer down to this Hailobar, see, was like that's discussing you get. I had the guess, but all root. You know, I was a big fan of the Trot Nixon, like Kevin mlure. Right, yeah, so I mean not that for a guy from the city. Maybe maybe from for no shave. November next year, I'll I'll raise some money and do that. Maybe that's what we do. Maybe that's what we do, but thinking good for ahead. Yes, to finish the recap of how this is going to go down. Fantasy. That the rosters, the roster that you have right now. I'm talking over you. The roster that you have right now is the group of players that you're going to be picking from. It. There's an injury of some sort, you can take somebody else in the league, but we got to we're going to be forced to pick from your other people. Oh we could, yes, right now, my other what do you mean? What would like? I mean like say it's say we're down to the second round, or whatever you want to call it, and say I was to cut well, you wouldn't cut them, you'll let whatever, just them off my team. Are Lenski's right. I know that's just an example, just an example. So say I dish record, shit lends, he said piece, so see you later, and then say younger gets her and now I'm like, oh my gosh, Jallenski still my sponsors list. In a way. That's how that's how I'll work after this month. If something about you in this month where you don't have that reserve list, you can pay from the whole pool. Obviously just our Richard Chilanski to see follow me on twitter. But so we're going to send are going to trim down from twelve eighty three to six hundred forty two for February and then three, two one for March. And remember in March when you lose one of those six, that's it there. You can't fill that spot. So if they get knocked out, you don't feel that spot. So I'm so glad I have the bottles. Saying is Brittany's gonna have a full rock. WE'RE gonna do adjust the rules here. No, I mean you can't have six Boston junior rangers. I'm trying to sound like, you know, a jealous little southern mid Atlantic keys person down here, but here's what here's what I would say right now. The come back. Gee, that's what I would say. Are you when you look at Brittany's team, obviously you would think that she's going to pick all the rangers. That's she already has one would think. But but the six forward like tapped into my brain. was like, like, you're gonna Leave Your Souda off the list right when it's Boston losing. You're going to you're going to leave one case. Yeah, but whatever role. Sevens, I'm still on the roll. Seven Ben Wagon, I'm so there. So minute they see, we'll see. We'll see what it comes down. Bry Web off your list. You're going to leave for cards the way. Well, the whizzies aren't going too far in the playoffs. Sorry, not so like Ryan Webbis yeah, right, webbing, reverse psychology, Tory, Tory, you love the Ryan Web is gonna be my one, two, three forward as we're in March. So you guys are telling me the whizzies are going to make it to the team. was like that team was a little bit different than just remember this. Also, our fantasy ends before the finals. We it doesn't continue in the finals. Okay, but still, I don't think they're googs. We're all broadcasting rolling JR breast correct. Yes, I cannot have a repeat of providence with Brittany cheering when a goal goes in, because that's what you would do if we were still doing fantasy. She like, well, you're my fantasy team and you scored, so I'm going to interview you.

And you're on Jeffs and you scorts. I'm not going to interview you after this period. And that's how the granite state cut this weekend will go. So if you score a goal for Jeffer Neil team, you ain't getting interviewed. Get to the back of the line, Buddy. I don't want I mean it's gonna make it interesting for us, though, because like right now, Jeff I don't I don't want you to lose sleep between now and March, but eventually you're going to have to pick Nick Michael or Mason Palmer boof that's that's UFF. That's tough because we're essential, a fact that they have to keep in mind. Is All of a sudden, I feel like I'm like on an episode of like the Bachelor Ade or something. Right, but you have to keep right, like the central has an extra round if you're not the team that gets a buy right and and and I mean we're we've talked about this before. The SEAHAWKS, right, they've gone back and forth, Duran more for how long? The Express I've gone back and forth buckle. It's Palmer. For how long, like, like what, at what point do you start leaning on one a as opposed to to one A and one be? So I say every question as a newcomer. I'm a new commerce shop. Respectfully, if you're in the playoffs, you got a goal you want, do ride the one a or do you play the other guy in the next game? In this it's been it's been weird to watch, right, like the first year the avalanche won the frozen finals, right, which was the two thousand and seventeen and eighteen season. was that the season of shoot? That was the season of what's his face to goes two Potsdam. Yeah, so they went legit every other game the entire time. Nick stoorgo and Mike Pag Luca and they played for games and Providence and he used to and too and like yeah, and it's it was interesting because this is not a shot at rich, but rich will even admitted. No one EGGBERT got tired that year and Nolan eggar was the starter for the rangers and it was like, I think he started three and every four games from November on. Like you kind of going with a plan, like who's The guy who can get us to the championship and then who's the guy you can win it for us, because there isn't difference and and, but there's so many like, there's so many factors, though, like you have to factor in where you're at in your division, right, if you know that you're not going to get the buy and the central, but you're still vuying for maybe that at large. Now you're looking across the league more about what everybody else is doing. Every point is huge down the stretch, like this week, that were that were in between now and the next podcast to the chiefs have four games right, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, chiefs have it DC and Monday. Right, those are their four games. Two against the Rangers, to against the Express, like welcome back, welcome to the south, come to the central, like now, no, could they? Could they lose all four? Yes. Could they went all for? Yes, but, like this is like a huge this is a huge test for them right now and if they steal two or three of those, this thing's wide open and the set Captain Max Phillip said, I am your captain. Oh Yeah, comes it's going to be. It's going to be really interesting to watch, though. Kyle. It's going to be really interesting to watch because that was the way that the avalanche one of the first year right, the way they wanted. The second year that was not the case. No, Oh my God, what scene. Like they kind of throughout the long kid. Dude, Nathan Pickett, sorry, Nat Lane was last year. Yes, Nathan, like they kind of Malake of you different then. Yes, they weren't. A few guys. Sorry, who Nathan Pick it was a starting boy for the Avalanche Twenty E is atteen season. During the regular season they kind of rotated a lot, but come plays does a lot of the yeah, some playoffs. Pick it played in all sixteen. Febrary stay season one goalie of the year, didn't he? This is the first year that the year. This is the first year ver just happened. Vp of the finals, or whatever you want. Chris is a rich MVP of the playoffs. Who won goalie the year that? You're Brittany bred, probably, yes, pl of one, eight hundred nine night p left. Yeah, you're a level that. Don't think. Country A number one. Thomas mclarnen was the backup and was like fifteen and Oh, was that eighteen? Nineteen? And any played last year and now he is at Assumption College in the wooster. Yes, Nathan picket, that year, Kyle, in the postseason. You're ready for this postseason stats a I gonna. Can I get the postseason? Yeah, you literally just hit the thing. That is where you're fusing to postseason. You know, by the way, I loving the bower bag in the background. School. You'll sucks something, dude. I'll never forget Neil and men'sleig and powers. Here's a deal. Sucks and hockey print did. You should have seen Neil nels playing against Chris Roll and men's league in the summer.

It was so all right. That's not fair. Chris Arella Played Division One hockey. Neo played hockey time like Mario snap. This sick got it side versus on the ice every day. Still is a coach. He's like, that's my broadcast bag, Kyle. I have all my broadcasting gear in that looks awesome. I'll try. It's a USA hockey back. I'll try and get a second one, but Nathan pick it. That postseason went six and no, with a seven goals against, a bage a nine, fifty eight state percentage in two shutouts. And remember that championship game, Him and Brawley gave up like two goals each in the first period of like wasn't what we thought it would be. Yep, like that was like his worst scheme of the playoffs. So it's I mean it's an interesting point, Kyle, because I don't know what these teams are going to do in goal. I really don't. And like there's so many teams to watch what they do in goal, because it is the town. The town is there too, you know. I mean like the each O. There's a lot of a lot of depth in goal and a lot of teams they utilize, like you guys said, like multiple goal either one bb like there's like three coalies on some rosters. That and watch this. There's gonna be another mover to here between now and when the rosters freeze on February ten, and it could be a goalie. It could be a rainy or bratty. What's Slow Ptar? I don't, I don't. I don't. I the one team that I just I want to watch maybe Goalie Wise, Philly and Jersey, New Jersey, seven hundred and eighty seven. I just don't know if they're so like it. If I think that, for a number of teams. If they had a playoff game today, they know who their guy would be. He's seven store. I don't think Adam would be like I dk. I think they'd probably go copack today, but I don't think they're sold on that. And Jeremy Connors played pretty well for them too. So say, let's not. Yeah, threebody sales, though, don't hate on the kid. I'm not hating on here. It's like being any of me. I'm just playing. I'm just playing chilled to chills a droll. So it's going to be tough. Yes, it's going to be very Essy, but she did say, Jeff in an hour she's going to be wired because we going to be passed. That's what it always happens. At like eleven o'clock. I'm like ready to run the Boston Marathon. I'm like, how come at eight PM I could shut my eyes and go to bed like all Coss like twenty six point two. Here we go. You if you have wanted to run twenty six point two miles at eleven o'clock. I can't even. I can't even run like three miles straight. We would all get out of our house and and follow you on the journey forst go and follow you on the journey of one point two miles. Turn around. Pretty this is your fifteen break in the first hour. You gotta keep going. Hat running. It sucks if you run for fun. Your Weirdo and that's the team Treney. I'm just thinking, like if you did it, though, would be like a good tick tock right, I'll Pellett on twenty six point two all day. So we all day, every day. Are Good things about the whole time, and I love the poll. Look at Niels followed on the back. Check around. There she is with that heat at a games. This holt on Jo. Want to sponsor US'll be awesome. Please do it. But you know the thing about like most of our sponsors, were trying to help them make a name and US make a name. Right, pellet on Toms, they're like the class I the class I wrote today was like you finished in this place out of ninety onezero people that have taken this same class as you. It's like, Oh my God, talking about I've during covid like perfect time, Amazon, perfect time. It's on. Yes, so they are. If Platonic. You're listening. What the reasons class my favorite, one for one for every team. They would definitely want that, but with that huge late guys and are gonna be tuned in for all the Games and I'm excited about it.
