On this week's episode of kick things off with George Lewis, the former head coach and general manager of the Philadelphia Little Flyers. We break down a busy week around the EHL and the EHLP, including an update on the latest state by state restrictions and guidelines and, of course, we wrap things up, as always, with the e crew fantasy challenge. Let's get things started with my conversation with George Lewis. I'm joined now by George Lewis, the assistant coach of the Amarilla Bulls and the former head coach and GM of the Philadelphia little fires. How's IT gone? George? Hey Nail, I'm doing well. How are you? I'm doing well. I appreciate you coming on. I know we talked about this for a while. I interviewed you and one of those kind of five minute segments that I did when you were in the league. Once I launched his podcast last year. I know you and rocky kept talking to me about it and now I guess you could say you have bragging rights over rocky because you came on first. Well, thanks for having me, and rocky said on the bus today that he was going to have words with you that I'm on. Beforehand I didn't know, like if I should do you guys together or if I should do it separate. So I figure I want to each give you the stage and at some point the season I'll have rocky on to I probably won't go back to back weeks, but at some point I have them on. Well, you might have to convince some but okay, I'm sure he'll be happy to do it. And obviously I posted the picture, you know, teasing this interview that we're going to, you know, put on the podcast tomorrow and I had a number of guys that you coached against, you know, in the Na of course, and in the EHL as well. That text and said. Pretty cool to see George coming on the podcast and of course the first question I get told to ask you come from a coach that you coached against in the NA and Cody Campbell wanted me to ask you what it was like to coach against Cody Campbell down in Texas. We always had good games with them. I really like cody. Obviously he was in the League before me and he knew I had ties in the Ahl and that's where he ended up moving. So He's always good to me and kind of made me so, including what I got here. I think we had the better for them that he though, so I was happy about that. And of course you were with the little flyers the two thousand and sixteen seventeen season as an assistant coach and then rocky was the head coach of the time. He headed south for emeral the next year and that's when you became the head coach and the GM of the EHL team. So two years with the program, two years in the league and I think it goes without saying that our league does a good job of developing players but also coaches. How did your time in the Eh Shelley really benefit you? Yeah, I I really liked my time. They're obviously I had a good year of rock. We had a really good team. He was a great guy to learn from. He knew some of the guys who I worked with prior to that. So it was a good, good connection. But you know, just being around guys like roguer and Jerry and who we saw a lot, Chris and rich and some of those guys in the north who we played against a lot to it was it was good for me to get in with with some of those circles and Lounsberry, who's at Holy Cross now, and get to know those guys and see how they all operate. So it was it was a good learning experience just being around so many guys that, you know, have moved so many guys on too the Attaa level and have been there themselves. So it was it was good experience for me to get my foot into junior hockey and all was unique for me is, I think we talked about this when you were in the league. When you came in, I it was the first time that there was a coach younger than me and obviously you were the youngest coach in the Ehl as the head coach. Was it intimidating at all? I think having the year with with rock and being part of his staff and get to know everybody made the transition pretty smooth for me and, like I said, all those guys who were a little bit older were we're all really good to me, so it wasn't too hard though. And Rocky I mentioned when you became the head coach in the GM with a little fires. It was his first year down in Texas, the two thousand and seventeen eighteen season, and you go down there the next year, two thousand and eighteen nineteen. At what point during that two thousand and seventeen eighteen season,...

...while you're the head coach the little fires, did rocky reach out to you and say, Hey, this maybe a chance for you to come down here next year? Well, the the opportunity had presented itself before the season I took over in Philly's funny rock rocket already mentioned me being the head coach and Philly and I wanted to take on that experience and then sure enough the assistant job opened up. But we decided to be best to keep me in Philly as the head coach and the following year his assistant moving on to the USHL. So he called again and we worked it out that I came down that year and I kind of it's I'm trying to find a comparison for players, but it almost sounds like you needed that year of head coach experience where you were the guy before you headed south to Texas. Is that a fair statement? I think it was really valuable and all it was. It was good, good for for me personally to prove for myself that I could do it and I wasn't, you know, just a little bit blokey. We we had a good season when I was in Philly both years, so I was happy I had that experience, for sure, and you touched on this a little bit earlier, but I want to ask you to dive into it a little bit more. Obviously one of your biggest mentors has to be rocky. You spent the most time of anyone with him coaching, whether it was up here or down there. But you also mentioned a few other names. Can you talk about more some of the coaches that you coached against that were pretty influential on you when you were in the Ahl. Yeah, I think. You know, I thought Jerry did a really good job with what the team to beat us in the finals that first year. He did a great job of coaching his team defensively and using their strengths to find a way to beat us, and we always had super competitive games with the revolution and coach were over there and, like I said, some of those guys in the north to we didn't see them as much, but they they were always super open with me and would pick up the phone and give me a call or take my calls. So rich and Chris and John Those guys, we're all helpful for me too. And of course, doesn't matter what league you're in, you want to win and you want to beat your opponent. I'm sure since leaving the little flyers, that's an organization that you continue to watch and root for. I know that you and I text from time to time when you're watching a game in hockey TV. was there another organization while you were in the EHL that you looked on fondly and if if they were the continue having success, you would be like, you know, yeah, not, it's not the little fires but I'm happy for those guys as well. Um, right now I love to see wall pole have some success because, like I said, cody was a good friend of mine when he was in this league and I'm glad that he stepped in and one coach of the year last year and he he's doing a really good job there. So I'm kind of rooting for him. So the Bulls are fans of the express as what we'll say. Hey, that shouldn't come as a surprise to anybody, though. No, I mean that if fair, playing catch run's team and a little flyers. I picked a little flyers. But I'm happy cody's doing well and going back to the little flyers. What is, I think, unique about that organization is it's a staff there. You don't have just Mark Cashron, but you also have Anthony Larusseau, you have one of the most respected or well respected broadcasters in the league and Tom wilams. Can you touch on all the individuals that you had around yourself there in Aston Pennsylvania that made it that much easier for you? Yeah, those guys were great. Marks one of the best coach is I've ever I've ever worked with he he's so smart and he understands different situations and he he was eager to help me along as a younger guy and was really, really beneficial in my development in Philly. Like you said, Alos Alos Awesome. He's he can, he can do it all. He helps with everything you need and he the social media is scoreboard. The president over there now like he's a Jack Ball Trades. He's he's the best guy in the business. and Tom was awesome, and obviously Mike narrogant, who's my assistant. He did a really great job for us that year too, and I got a there's so many stories that you and I go back and talk about only catch up, but there's one that I knew when I had you on the podcast and I wanted to see if you remembered your year as a head coach. You had a playoff game and worried and there was a broadcast, so that filled him for Tom Williams that night. I'm not sure if you remember his name, but he's saying the national anthem from up on the podium or where you guys your press box, Seria. Do...

...you remember that night? Oh, that was a lecture when it's so funny. He had told us before the game he told a few of the players, you know, that he wanted to sing the anthem. They kind of thought he was kidding. So whatever happen? Hockey TV and and needed them for the playing of the anthem and we just had it on, just the instrumental version, and next thing you know we were all standing on the bench and the he was belting it so loud that we could hear him over the music from the balcony on our bench and all it was something else and you know, it was a different story and it was kind of funny, but it got our guys fired up and we had some success and those first two rounds. So give the Guy Kudos here. Hit some stones to do that and I don't want to harp on it too less, but obviously a couple very close calls when you were with the little fires. The first you have caught, of course, the five game series with the junior flyers, going a game five, three of those games being the sided in overtime, one in double overtime. You make the first ever frozen finals the next year. Now we transitioned down to Amarillo. You guys make the Robertson Cup. How of those close calls to winning a title helps you and helps rocky and helped you guys continue to work towards the ultimate goal way you want to get to. I think the experience is good and obviously the three situations you mentioned were frustrating, but we know what it takes to get there, we know the group of players we want, we know how hard it is. We obviously know you you need a little bit of walk and it's just it's just a good learning experience for us. So we'll keep pushing and we'll take a little bit from from each of those years and try to make this year's team we have, the best one yet. But mostly just the experience to get in there three times has been really unique for us and I know whenever I look at scores I'm always pulling to see you guys went. Of course, whenever I see you guys in the score board. And one thing that I always remember about your time in the League is at the end of those frozen finals, I believe you texted me very shortly after about the possibility of going to Mr Looh. I don't know why I didn't read it fully, but I thought it was for the next season, not the two thousand and eighteen nineteen season. But no, you were like no, this is for this year coming up. What was it about that moment in between the two thousand and seventeen eighteen and the two thousand and eighteen nineteen seasons that told you this is the right time to make this jump? Well, I you know, rock and I had spent a lot of time talk about it and the the group that he and his staff had coming in was was really strong and I knew that and I knew a lot of the names and it was exciting and I had spent some time talking to some other guys who have helped me throughout my career and you know, their thought was try something new. We obviously we're fortunate enough to have a successful season when I was the head coach and Philly and I felt like I could move on. I'm young enoughten wasn't tied down with anything, so I wanted to give it a try and we want something new instead of potentially spending my tires if we didn't have a better year and Philly and you moved to Texas. Let's start talking about your time on the NA. How long did it take for you to get adjusted to what I can imagine is a very different lifestyle. It is different, but it didn't take long. The the people here unbelievable and they there really supportive of our staff and our team and everything. Am Real Hockey. So it's a great place to live and the community down here is great. So, you know, I was fortunate enough to have rock and couple other friends that he had introduced me to throughout the year he was in Texas. So didn't take me too long and it was kind of funny. We've touched in this already. It's kind of like you and cody Campbell and away switch spot. So I've started to learn a lot more about the NA south with cody coming up here. Can you just touch on I know that there's only six teams in the division this year. In a full normal year there's eight, but your travel down south, from what cody has told me, is as unique as anything across junior hockey. It's it really is, and this year with the two teams that that went dormant for the season, it actually made our travel easier because they were are too long this road trips, but in our shortest trips three and a half four hours. Our longest trips and the twelve hours,...

...depending on what time of the day you leave. So we we play in Kansas, where it could be cold. Sometimes we play in Corpus Christy where, you know, there's palm trees and eighty degrees and we stay on the water. We play in Shriek Port, Louisiana. We play all the way as West as Oubuquerque to Mexico. So it's we're not covering many states, but Texas is just so big that the play in all these different places and it's kind of cool and from what cody tells me, obviously depending on the length of the trip, the way that you guys have to structure these trips is unique in that sometimes, say you're playing tomorrow or two days from now, you have to leave a day or two early just because you lose a full day from travel. Yeah, yeah, and a lot of times we'll leave in the evening. You know, when we go to shriport here in a couple weeks, will will probably leave on Wednesday night and take take the night to get there. We're fortunate. We have a sleeper bus. Everybody has their own bunk and then a bed to lay in. Will Get in Thursday morning and we'll we'll get the guys Saturday and will have some food, will practice. We'll just have a normal Thursday and then Friday will pregame, skate and play Friday night and play Saturday night. So we'll we'll spend an extended period of time on the road for just those two games. If everybody has a bunk. How big are these buses? They're huge. We carry twenty four guys on our team, plus rocky myself, our athletic trainer, equip manager, radio broadcaster and then the bus drivers. So we've got thirty people on the trip and everyone's pretty comfortable and I'm not going to have you rank them, you know, top to bottom. But let's hear which trip you you love and look forward to the most, and maybe which trip you don't. I think my favorite trips Corpus Christie. The weather there's unbelievable and they they played a pretty cool arena. It's big, probably eight thousand seats, and it's pretty modern and it's fun. It's fun to play there. And I guess my least favorite trip, I don't know if I want to call it my least favorite, or maybe the most difficult, would be sharife court. It's really fun to play there because they packed their arena and it's wild and it's entertaining for their fans. But once they got on a roll it's really, really hard to slow them down and they are a tough team to play against when they're at home. And what I've learned is each team for the most part, has a different item of some sort that they throw on the ice when they score a goal. Can you talk about that? Yeah, so every team does it. We do what we call bolls balls and their red foam balls that all the fans throw onto the ice after every goal and the the youth hockey kids will come out and pick them all up and our goal song will play and it'll be pretty fun for for us and pretty annoying for our opponents. And then you know, for example, we go to street port, they throw plastic crawl fish on the ice and you got to be careful on the bench not to get things by them. But just in tradition everybody has down here. It's fun and you get used to it. Flow us it down a little bit, but everyone's used to it, so it's fun. So it's every goal, every goal, Yep, and have you been hit before? I have, and I've learned quickly to put my head up against the glass and shrug down just a little bit. And and obviously it sounds like you guys are like a well oil in machine of some sorts that you know, the kids know exactly when they come on and while there's a break in the action they get, they get the job done quickly and it's cleaned up. Your back into action again. Yeah, usually it always takes a better or to the people who do our game day operations are good and they're paying attention and pretty much to suit. The pocos in the net, the ball start flying on the ice and next thing you know the kids are out there picking them up, so nothing fallows down too much. I love it and that side of things. And you know, when you compare it back to the EH shell where the travel is nothing like that. I know probably your longest trip when you were in Philly, was, I want to say, about six hours or so. We don't have the fans the same way you guys do. Did that takes some getting adjust to, or not really. Well, as far as the fans go, you're asking the fans the atmosphere, the travel just how different the game, the game that the Daytoday, is down there. Yeah, it's different. You know, the markets so much different. Right. Amarillos a smaller town...

...than Philly and we're a little bit more of a to do there, where billy have the eagles flyers six years, phillies this and that. You know, we're one of the one of the big tickets and emeral. So it's fun having that atmosphere. Fortunately for me I was I was lucky enough to spend some time with ten states, so I've been around the arenas and the fans and this and that. So it it can get overwhelming. I had a little bit of experience, thankfully, but it's fun and, like I said, the people in Amarilla are awesome. So it's fun to play for him. And on the coaching side of things, obviously you're not the head guys, so you go from being the assistant to the head. Too Bad to be in the assistant. The overall speed of the game, the challenge of the opponents, the level of play. How long did it take for you to get adjusted at that level? Not Too long. You know, it's different. Like like you and I were talking about earlier today, we play our opponents more than we did in the EHL and and the Cowber of coaching is really strong like the AHL. So you know, when you see a street port twelve times in the season, everyone knows each other inside and out. So you really gotta really got to prepare and spend the extra time just to try to find that little ledge every weekend. Is that through video breakdown and what is it? Because you play a team like that twelve times during the year? Yeah, we watch a ton of video. We watch video of them playing their opponent from the previous weekend, we go back watch them when they played us last and you know, just try to gather as much information that's appropriate for our players as we can. And I'm sure the video falls probably predominantly on you. How much, how many hours do you estimate you spend on video per week? Geez, between video and analytics, I a lot, I'm sure if I could quantify it, but it's it's a fair amount and I've been fortunate enough that that Rocky's task me with with that and it's great for my development. So I really like doing it. But it's quite a bit hours. I'm not sure how many, but fair amount. But I enjoy doing it, so it's no problem and we touched on mark cash, strawn, Tom Lims, Auntie Larusso, anyone at ice works to help you out. But of course the key figure in all this that we already touched on in this podcast. I'm going to have them on at some point as well. But Rocky Russo has been probably your biggest mentor throughout your coaching career. I know it's a broad question, but you know, one of the biggest things that you've taken away from working under him I think he's a pretty genuine person. You know, like he he cares about our guys. I mean, obviously you know rock he's he's a competitor and he wants to win more than anybody I know. But he feels like if we do a good job of preparing our guys for the next level and making them better people than a lot of the rest of stuff's going to start to take care of itself. So that's that's one thing I think he does a great job of. He was one of the most fiery guys, of course, when he was in our league. Do you ever find you need to step in and step in and calm down, or does that never happen. No, not so much there. It's happened. It's happened. But we've got a pretty good understanding of how each other work and you know, we this being our fourth year together. We we have a pretty good feeling for for what the other one might need to hop in and help out a little bit. And you spend so much time together, you know, with the sixty games that you play, the video, the long trips. How do you how do you find a way, not even just with the rocky but the long season, it goes to the EHL as well. How do you finally, as a coach, to not get burnt out about the year? I think it's fun. You know, we we get a coach hockey for for a living, and we got to go to the rink every day. So there's Times where you're tired and you're doing the same thing with a video, but it's pretty easy to remind myself that I'm at the ice drink every day and I get to do what I love. So it's it's fun to try to get better and they help our guys and to watch them move on and do things. You know that that we're teaching them. So for me. It never really gets very tedious and, and you mentioned the players, it always goes back to them, because that's doesn't matter what lovely you're at, you're there to help develop the players. And for this last question, I know when I asked Mark Catch on this question over the summer, you and rocky. We're probably in favor of some of the guys that you mentioned,...

...probably not other guys, but you spent two years day, as we mention the two thousand and sixteen, Seventeen and the one thousand seven hundred and eighteen season. Let's hear your little fires combined lineup from those two years with three forwards to D in a goalie, and then we can compare your lineup to the lineup he gave me from all the time he's spent there as an assistant, a head coach. Okay, well, I'm going to go with OCTR backs on the left wing. He's he's one of the best goal scorers I've ever coached, and the he's one of my favorite kids I've ever coached. He's he's a wonderful kid and he, I was a great leader for us and obviously he broke that goal scoring record before Christmas. In a second year there, so that was pretty impressive. I'm just going to jump to d because I'm still actually you know, I'll give you a right winger, Alex Peterson. He he played one year there with with rocky and I and then he played for rocky and I and Roll Oh and he'll be a sophomore at holy cross this year. He he was a stud there and a stuttered damarillo and can't really leave him off, I would say. As far as defenceman, left D I had Miguel Diaz, who is the day of the year, but I'm going to pick Moros. Morose was a three year guy there and I think. I think he is the all time leading defensive scorer and and I know for a single season he definitely is the year when I left. He destroyed it that year. Chris best for the right, the right defense, than for sure Chris he he was a complete warrior for us. I think he played there with rocky for three years before I got there. He probably played forty minutes tonight in our in our playoffs run with rocky and I, and he was a super kid to he was our captain that year. So hard for me not to pick Chris. goalies, I would apply pick Kanie Knie one goalie the year, my first year there. He he was an exceptional goalie and did a great job. I thought about picking Henston, but Cannie's playing NCAA and and he's not playing anymore, so canie. And then center, I got A. I guess I would have to go with the bell. Joey had, I think, ninety six points in forty nine games the year I was the head coach and he he was a big piece, him and Alex for our team success and we couldn't have done it without those guys and Joey. Joey was really skilled and he was a good leader for us to and you know, I think it's Havin Alex were on the ice. I had a good fooling. We're going to find a way to put a puck into that. And when you compare your lineup to catch run's lineup, you cross out. You both said Peterson, you both said Dr Back, you both said Morose. So for comparing Austin Kelly, Nick Miguel Diaz and Brendan Brawley for Catch Ron to Joey Savelle, Chris best and Sam Caney for you it's a pretty darn good comparison. There's been so many good little flyers players over the years, whether it was rocky as a head coach, you as the head coach, mark as the head coach. It's an organization. This is has so much history. It's one so many games and produced so many high end players. Some of it's, like you said, Alex Peterson, have moved on to follow you guys down to Texas. So I really appreciate you coming on. You know that. Whenever I see the balls on the schedule, on pulling for you guys and I appreciate all the support that you continued to have for the ehl and the little flyers. Yeah, I'm always happy to help. You guys do an awesome job and every year all the names you guys push on the NCAA's is unbelievable. So I'm a big proponent of your guys week and tell rocky'll be historn soon. Fair enough. Follow them. No, thanks, man, all right, thanks me. We'll see up to you. Thanks again to George Lewis for coming on the podcast this week. A great example of how out the e show helps promote also coaches to the next level, not just players. George is one of a number of coaches that's climbed the ladder onto a higher level. You can name them. Ryan Blair, another one, rocky Rousso, the head coached with George Down in Amarillo. There's so many coaches that have helped. They've gotten development during their time in the ehl and the EH LP as well, and then moved on to a higher level. So it's a lead that's not just developing players but also coaches. But with that,...

...let's bring in the e crew. As I say every week, guys, we get busier and busier and now, even with the latest state restrictions, the game counts are really high. Game counts are very high. Neal and, as we talked about a little bit in our preamble here before we got on the show, these teams are going to hate each other. Everybody at home that loves hockey hate is good for hockey. As long as everybody stay safe. Hete is good for hockey. These teams are going to hate each other because they're only allowed to play each other for the next two months. Right, yes, well, well, tbtbd. Right, Jeff, and that's Jeffies and mills, a broadcaster in our league and Jeff, we have to bring it up. I've you got more games you're calling right now and since we've started this fantasy there is no better feeling than calling a game and your fantasy player does something in that game. Oh, and I know we're we're going to get to it, so I'll just tease it. But I was very happy with my Italian friend, Mister Lorenzo macli. I feel like I caught I feel like I might have said that this name like that. I call this go called Frinzo. You are a hell of a player. That's the first time I saw you in person. Beautiful goals today, two goals and assists, and then we thought one was going to take two goals, even two goals either. All the assist God taken away. That's all right, but yeah, wow, while pole was looking good today. But Brittany Hart, the MINXIDE reporter for the League and the Queen of Pronunciations, it is Mark Coleen right. Oh, it is a hundred percent. I will get beat if it if I'm saying it in correctice he has. It's correct, because the first game I was like Mark Collin, I saw, I mean, the only reason you want to say it was because of Brittany's October month and review got it. I listened to it. I was like Pete my monthly recaps, ladies and Jett. But it's still it's still not the best name that any of US call. As I've told Kyle, the show beat writer and and broadcaster for the pro type, junior ducks the vast name they call. Save if I stunded that. Okay, you know, there are some good ones. Last one, whiz bags. Which ones that I love? Last year calling, Oh, we got papa points. Yeah, sast you know. Yeah, I pronounced that one pretty hard. There's been like there's there's a lot of names in this leg like I love Sanders in. Remember Johnny's. I remember t yes, remember that one like it was a good one. They were like jeezy school hockey back and has and like I don't get to do with Tom Los those and scream when Robbie seawagon scores. But that that truly of like if we had to ever do like a top with a hundred names and the eight and like ehl history. That's top three. Bobby seawagon is in like the top three. I wot imagine being Tom Williams and being like Tom wilms, icon acid is icon Tom will and Robbie swagon iconic, incredible. Hell duo. With that. We're all here. The schedules picking up and I mentioned that the game count is picking up and I noticed it in that we have days coming up here. W We have four or five games in the EHL and in the EHLP. I'm pretty sure in the EHL, I forget which day is though this. I look at the schedule so many times my head kind of spins. But there's a six game day coming up at some point. Wow picks game today. Oh No, I think we forgot to introduce kyle. Kyle, you're still there. Introduce Kyle. He's good, he's right. Yeah, and the protect you likes prodcat. Well, all right, Kyle, just checking out with with that, with that, Jeff, love you, but let's start making our way around the show. It's time for this week segment of around the e show. Around the show is brought to you by the junior hockey podcast Rome. For Junior Hockey News, knowledge and nonsense, check them out at tjh podcastcom. And how dare you chef on a broadcast, on a broadcast of the wallpole express field one eight straight games. How dare you forget to mention that the Rangers have won ten straight, even though the Rangers aren't even involved in the game? I have this gonna Literal Just gonna set our your that's fine. I mean, I mean, where's the Fire Ebogi? That was a hot meals coming in through lock as we be. The best part about it is I said to cody on Monday and rich on Monday, just do me a favor. When Tuesday, rich, when Wednesday, cody, because I Majed your game Friday the game of the week, and you've won eighteen straight games combined. It makes it better. Now I'm a little upset. I'm calling the game Saturday and on Friday your are you calling the game? You're gonna be there. Saturday, I will be there. I'm...

...score keeping Saturday. Get up, I'll see you there, Brits Ky, yes, big, get up, big, first time we're going to see each other in person and since like, who the hell knows? That's the big reason, the big reason why I wanted them each to take care of business like they did is I don't remember the day last year, but I want to say. It was mid January and they face each other and a game that I called at Stoneham, at stone and yes, Chris and rich in the Rangers had won fifteen straight games and bully broke the streak. Yes, and and was this like of do the motion so we don't tease it for every yes and and it would. They want an overtime, though, so the point street continued, but the winning streak was over and we all somehow walked out together, myself, rich and cody, and rich was kind of like hmm on the way out, like like streak is over, like, you know, I wanted to get a few more. I mean, I don't know if any of you know this. What's you know what the record is for most consecutive wins right out of something of a plf like mass a little the year that the little flyers only had two regulation losses. It was before that. Two thousand and sixteen, Seventeen little flyers, thirty thirty. Well, so let's you know what, this is a good this was a good day for that story. Well, we let's pause that. Come back to that, but put little fires. But revolution of one hundred and seventeen straight, two thousand and seventeen eighteen, avalanche, sixteen straight, two thousand and eighteen nineteen. Probably why Boston junior rangers are fifteen straight and two thousand and nineteen twenty. Why rich wanted to get one more. But it was so funny because he he walks out, he's a little discourage because obviously the streak is over, and he said something like man like, it's tough to see that stretch. And and cody like I remember, member, this is so funny. Goes what stretch English, because we'll all we want to winning streek go to goes well, like four or five and which is like we want fifteen games in a row. Where are you pit like cody? wellknowing exactly what was happening, cody was just being aw let's say. was that because I was cody's so that was his rookie year as hey. Yeah, yeah, he goes fifteen straight. That's a hell of a run. I go like the I put my shirt off my face and I'm like, Oh my God. Well, I get the car, I haven't even turned out of the parking lot yet and cody caused me and he's in tears laughing. They have two of the most different firstdy move? Yes, is that excellent dry humor? He just has that basic like a code Sir, absolutely, where you look serious. If he says that, he's like how dude? Yeah, Cody said things to me and I'm like, I don't know if you're kidding. It was and and hey, Britty, I know you were there. Who scored the game? When he goal in that game? Ryland Duke's no, it was last year. Bat Bro Lea always was on Valley Jesus Christ. Wait, what's you know what key on? My best friend? Oh, I have no idea. That's overmodulating. We're overmodulating. So I can't wait. Pez. Oh, Tim George. Yeah, yes, Tim, the George lipe The sky would love that name. He becomes yes. So now that we break up winning streaks, well, wow, I have the little flyers on today. It's a perfect time to talk about this. The two thousand and sixteen seventeen year was the year of the thirty game winning streak. But what is hard to forget for me is that they were around, I want to say, like eleven or twelve straight wins and a loo caused me. And they're losing to the rockets New Jersey rockets at the time and he caused me and goes, yeah, the game's over. I go game just started. Would you guys can see the last two like what's going on? The power went out. I go what's UH? Because the power went out and we're Prudential Center at Ashton ice works. I go what do you mean? He any and he shows me a car outside. They hit the telephone pole and the power went out in the building. So I'm like, if there's no power, you really can't play hot we don't have any glow in the dark pucks in India. Like what is this? The garden from the s powers? So I'm like, okay, we will pick it up what we can. So we move the game till later in the year when the rockets were going back to Aston again and they finished like the last two minutes of the second period and then the third period and the little fires lost the game that game, but at the time the street was already over. So the rockets argue that the loss should have counted in the...

...middle of the streak. Oh shut up, but I was like that's a ticky times it yeah, when you when you go to baseball in a game, guess postponed. Does the result end up on the new day or does it end up on the day when it like when it started? It always ends up on the new day. Base Baseball's weird. So, but he's buy their baseball is always weird. They would go in hockey now putting on foot film. You know, it's a good brings up another good point, because of baseball, but it the MLB. It's anything baseball. They're weird. It's in. This is in. This brings up a good point because in that game the little flyers change their goalie, right. So in baseball, the starting picture, when he leaves the game, of they're losing and the others and and your team never comes back to at least tie the game, that starting pitcher still loses the game. To follow what I'm saying, say the score of a baseball game is five nothing and even though the new pitcher gets up the six run and the final score is Zer to whatever, because they never came back and tie that game, it's still on the hook for the starting picture, right, if you put five innings and he left on, this team was down. So I this happened in this game with the goalies. The goalie that came in gave up the game winning goal, but the game never was tied to any point. So which goalie gets the loss? I started versin. Isn't the first universe? First one, the first one, and like, like it was a wild to set the seecret, like we're talking a lot about one game. Guys. It's like, well, it's because they want thirty free games and that goes. You get the lost. Oh he should get the lost of now. Okay, okay, please chill out for a second. Can we just hill? I'm so glad I never had to ask any blond brain. Blond brain, that's all I have to say. You know how Britney's eyes it's like glazed over. In the middle of that she was like, yeah, okay, the ranges of one ten street. We're gonna go with that. So right. It's like a rollinos a eat. And obviously it's a huge home and home series for us, the four of us, you know, each of those two coaches, and saying this is just two games in the middle of November. Actually know what Richie rich would say? Actually I must, I won't disclose. Me and Rickie riches text from today's they're a fire they were so funny. But all I have to say is get up, bick and get up Rodman. He's excited, we'll tell you that. Really, which is fired up. Yep, and rightfully so, the way it last year ended, and and actually good anecdote for this deal. Talk to cody today. Walked its off because, as we usually do before the game him and it was the first time I'm seeing cody this season. Cody, good disease tevers. Are Good to see it. I'm like, guys, look great, you're on a heck of a putting street. May will extend it to eight today, maybe not. I don't like, Oh my God. He's definitely like don't say that. And and Jeff has paused. Okay, I was like, am I pausors like everyone else? No, no, it's bad jeff, that pause. It was funny. It's like like Fros when he was about to say he was gonna say coaster says. So Cody said, he goes, he I don't know what the exact he said something about like streak, just worried about today. Those, like you said before, it is very dry. Just like he's like, I don't care about that, I'm on to like today's opponent was there. He's very bill Bella check in. He's very like in the moment. He isn't care about streets at all. He's like it's also like funny because when cody's like in the middle of a game, he's like, Oh, we stank, and then like going the locker room and from Cody's office you can hear every word that's spoken in the locker room and he's like screaming. He's a clutched, deep gone. He's like fired, not but than like ten minute boys like we shock. It's he's always so mild reward in that office, in the lock ards kind of scary out noise travel as well and Rodman, it definitely does. Sure Do. But that's that's a home at home series that starts Friday and Law Pole thirty Saturday. A apt breakaway at for yeah, I mean for those two teams is probably not as big of a serious as it is for us, but because playoffs, while we can't wait to get there, it's going to take a while to get there and obviously to keep stirring that pot in the mean time. The exactly all these people angry and back in the driving right still matter yeah, I mean I might have got rich. They matter for bragging, right, so I'm not. I'm not really sure. And what the best part is is like I wish I'd taken a screenshot of where what the standings looked like after Walpole and played five games, because they weren't in second place. They were say, we're a second place like now and and...

...it's just funny how things can flip like that. And when you're hot, you're hot. And in that game, in the two games that I call this past weekend, the wizards chances. They had chance. He's some crawling did not pan out. They had chances. And on Saturday night they had chances. On Sunday they had chances. For the first almost two periods. They thought they finally broke through. And the frustration when you just can't score, but this titles. It builds and builds. It's a good disease. It's a disease. Yeah, go on. Anyone ever see the natural baseball movie? I feel like neal probably has. All Right, I'm hearing yes, no, yes, no, no, yes, Neil. Yes, yes, that's a dead he hasn't seen that. Jefferson, Meek Mills, Yep, I've seen it. I haven't seen in a while, but so I can't get the direct cords out Britney. I'm so hotness comes not point. So there's a great baseball movie. It's called the natural and there's a great scene where they're like the worst team in the league and they bring in a guy and so, I don't some dude was just like losing is a disease. Losing is that disease, and this guy just keeps saying it game after game, until this gentleman gets up as like you know what, I'm not taking anymore, throws off his hat chucks it across the room. His name is Roy Hobbs, and that guy goes out there and becomes, you know, he's almost like the Babe Ruth or mark McGuire or you know, whoever's a home run hitter these days in baseball. So yeah, I'm just curious and retired for a few years, but I'm trying to relate to certain publics. I'm curious to see, like who's going to be that guy in the hl who's like, you know, no, I'm tired of losing. Well, the wizzy should prop Mynd, whoever that is. I'm tired of hearing about this team. This is pretty think of the episode take wit. There was a funny moment from whiz he's on Saturday. It was electric. We're like okay, with this nickname like the Whizzi's, like, I mean, I thought we had a nickname already, like our and I is with with a guy from like the little flyers. Now I've been calling them these and the whiz bags for like looking long. I mean I was just calling you guys like hogwarts. and Ye know, it was he's was he's doesn't? Isn't the bad nickname? No, no, or. I used to call them Neil. I missed WHIZ my mistake. CHECKLEBAZ. Yes, they had a lookay, waits right, I used to attend everyone else, like the one fan. Okay, anyways, back to my story. So Saturday we're like in between periods. The kids are like coming out there, skating in beat, like you know we're about to start the second period, or third whatever was, and this kid, I don't know his first a MUCI number ten. Kid Wipes how like, but for the spirits suck, this kid is on the ground and it's yeah, keep the side, but it is dead. Sea is kind of topick when you like catch the as right in the top of your sky. That's unlike everyone just usually the ice story. Let me finish. So there's not one word being spoken at the Edge Sports Center and you just here Actin Jack joins and go hey, break, can we put that on the instagram? was cracking laughingly. Just called that his own teammateer eating ice before the period started, in screams in front of everybody. Hey, Brooke, can we put that on instagram? And I it was good. It was good. That was hysterical. It was really good. It was were center, not top ten plays. I was like I was playing head. was like laughing. I was coplays of the week. I was lasting as I did. It was tripped over the Blue Line. It happens when you're going back to what you were saying earlier about chances. In Wall Forman's wooster was at a dead block, scoreless tie after the first period. So they were still in it, and then they had a two on one actually that Mason Palmer went down and just butterflied in freaking kicked out his left leg. It was still nothing. Nothing, and then wall pole ended up scoring and it just kind of opened up the doors. But for a while wall pole was up one nothing and then they hit three posts in the second period. Still one nothing. Then they just blew doors and open thing. Well, it's just like, I think what's funny about hockey is like no game is the same as the previous game. But, like it says, it's you know the cliche saying, when you're hot, you're hot, when your cold, you're cold. You go down the ICE GAM at three on one. You had the crossbar, then you got they got on the ice and this trickler finds a way than that and it's like, how did that even happen? And I know, and our audience knows, that I am a closet wizards fan, as you all love to throw out there. You want to saw them off right now, go right ahead,...

...because they were the seven seed last year and I know it's before. I know Freddie's not here. This year's this cory and his new assistant, Christ Antelo, but what they do with their team over the course of the year can arrival any team in our league. And some a good point in terms of how feel like they do not have a chancey and they do not have a brand in Darby, and that's get. But they could make some trades. They could get somebody from, you know, as old as eleven, eleven, twenty. They don't have it yet. Yeah, or are you just said? They could grow and develop? Yes, chance, Gromember Ben and Darby. How about Andrew Harley last year? By the way, he had pretty true, Oh my God, little beauty. I know it's a small sample size, but look, we all kind of wall pull out like what a couple weeks ago. They're all for one, the hottest, one of the hottes. Sorry, I want the hottest. I didn't as obviously I'm also in the US. True, Neil is a p is a closeted w team, while Pole, Whiz, he's whizzy whole. Is He's there? Maybe on the low? No, you said Worcester could sneak their way into the places. Are Right, feel throw the dumbs up. After Holy Yeah, do you think the think when three of you, who this is? This goes back to the election, the three only all anyc while I'm the lone Mat guy. Hold on, wait, life, text from Lady Sevens. Yes, Harryet, back to Britney's fans. Hey, I am as rolls seven for ever. She takes them as her fantasy squad, but all she talks about the podcast is any. See that. She was a huge ramming. It's always been Ramsey. I was a big grab girl because Chris Canal is my dog. Yes, no, it's I don't know, Kyle with thin Brittain, one squeak. What does? What the Hell is any? See The doings? Oh, I'm not a New England conference person. Are you people on Drugs Right? anyways, speaking of the an see kyle wall small versus. That's Walpole versus the Rangers. Is Not the only good anyc series this weekend. VTO NH. Get off, get up for the broadcast, ladies and just one's the playoff series. This one the playoff series, and Vermont as a played a lot, so we kind of you know, they've kind of gone by the wayside. We forgot about him a little bit, but you know, are you seeing your text messages right now? I'm just getting I'm just getting absolutely loved in the script chat. Well, Ryan, Ryan mcgrasts was texting me earlier. He's literally working backwards on the PODCAST. He's like he listened to forty four, then forty three, then forty two and it's like no, you should want to go in the other direction. Ryan he just texted great podcast number forty two and I said yeah, glad you liked it. He goes be with the heart. The heart was on fire. said the word fetus. He was about I've been born. I need to I need to make a new trailer. And in episode forty three we had an unreal segment about gaps and end gus. Yes, the episode gaps, which our goals after power play at and gues? What's our empty net goals to get goals, and God of God, i Miss Stories that you just do not want to lead in. The Valley has as as Ryan has pointed out. But it's, like I mentioned before, the Vermont versus the avalanche, another big series. Jeff kind of loaded to this earlier with the different restrictions. It's it's makes things to top, obviously because you're going to face a lot of the same teams over and over and over again, but it helps build up the cow because not not knock on wood like things can change. But the state has come out with this. Are they going to get more strict than that? Hopefully not, but now we have the rules in which he can play and we have six teams in Massachusetts, so you kind of rotate through and I saw it with the Games that I call when whether it was wallpole versus the wizards or will are the wizards versus of the Seahawks, like I don't care if it's the first game of the fourth game, by the end of sixty minutes you have a little bit of animosity with the other team. I'll take Spain big hit. That's he's was he's wall pole is ficy on Sunday. And what's the waffles up by seat today too, after it was a I forgot. It was train boys. The trains are pissed at each other, the two trains. So it was Goldstein laid out Percy at center rice in Gold Stein was on Wallpole. For anyone who didn't know, Oh damn, you did not know that. Okay, good, Nice. Thank you, Britt will you save that nugget for my next wallpole broadcast? Buble was the broadcast. But yeah, so that's all it was. It was in the score was getting a little bit out of hand, which you're going to see that when games are you're losing three for nothing and someone lays you out center ice and then whipple was trying to defend, you know, Percy. Luckily he was able to get up off his feet came out and but the rest of the game it was like you're going to the corner, guys are looking on the shoulder like, Oh boy, I'm gonna get laid out and you're gonna see a lot of that the next couple months. So can I change my team to watch?...

Know, you already have your dub squad. Yes, you can. Yeah, see Hockey Club. See. Yeah, girl, they're on my watch too. I they're on my goalie, the the goalie that they brought in that goes to skin more is going back there after this year. Obviously it's one of those two thousands that can come back and has junior eligibility. He steps in goal today and I look down and I'm like this kid is almost as tall as me and I'm over the glass and WHO's this coalie? Feels six foot for blamee more. I was liking more. Okay, where is the hole behind him? I don't see the net behind this kid. He was the amount of Moors on the ice today. Three. An interesting to you just told US earlier there was a good old fashioned hockey trade. Tristan Handley, yes, gone wat I don't know this. Filled the teas. Fill the tea out. Why do I not know this? See, Marilyn, if if you guys talked in the group jet at all, I didn't read it once. At least be being honest with each other. Hey, I sent my I'm at the Science Museum text. I was busy, but that. But was amazing. As again, this was not touch to about today. It was talked about yesterday last night. Wait, so, what's going on? Christon Hadley straded. It looks like he's heading the team Maryland, because when you mean I know this. It's one of our picks again this week and one of Kyle's favorite nicknames. Oh yeah, the combination of now blame more and pay and Duran, Duran, Duran. Don't feel it's that's a really good comedy. So my boy Peyton and and I know that. The thing about the seahawks offensively every year, even this year, they kind of grind for goals a little bit. Yeah, it's not. It's not like you step over the Blue Line and I got a snipe like goal scorers type shot. They kind of grind for goals blue color type. Yeah, part there's no count up as alls, sure, but when we like all work back like those two two thousand goaltenders, that's not a team I want to face right now. Like, like I know that team on the rise. Yeah, the rainswers beat them for two one, but you're seeing a lot of seems do. The shock seahawks out shot them that game. You've seen a lot of teams added finish, geese, little brother added. Yeah, and I'm finsh and and they got that. They got a squad. Wait everyone, let's I know viewers at home you can't see this, but like we, K Neil and I witness this on Satdah is a change in the parking lot. Honestly, Brittany, welcome to thousand twenty. That's a perfect transition because that shifts us down to the middlantic conference, and I will start by saying Kyle had a text. Sevens, go dress to the hold. That's what I'm getting to. Kyle had a text that said can the sevens lose a game over the next couple days's really no way, no way. Obviously a lot of our teams have to get dressed outside right now. They were under they were they were under a tent, and this is not why they lost the game to the team Maryland and over time. But it was pouring rain, guys, it's pouring rain and these guys are getting dressed outside. There's yeah, what the heck, Josh, US go get my boys some respect, for you said the ways. It's to Marilyn getting dressed outside. Yes, okay, so let's get put some respect my boys and names and they both. Can I get some respect that? I'm just saying. This is no disrespect towards then S. I had a feeling there might be an upset. There might be an overtime contest. It's on twite. Is the other thing that you say. Lially said this. There may be an overtime game today, and you put the Purple Magic Personal Ball. So when I've seen to the future while doing a few tweets over the years of the wizards, I have used that Emoji. Yeah, well, you referring to that game, or were? You're from any of the three games. Now, I was referring to that. I know what I'm talking about and I'm going to predict the future. He's got to look like I mean I knew New England was going to be New Hampshire. So anyways. So, yeah, I thought there was going to be an overtime game and I just had a feeling that there's a chance that New Jersey's going to lose at some point or another. Okay, so then let's keep predicting. They lost. Who are they going to finally lose? Two in regulations, the same regulation, because that's a fact, because they lost the hosses in the shoot out and they lost. I'm going to say it's too difficult to beat the Philadelphia a little flyers as many times as they have. That makes no sense. They've already beat him five times. I think they're eventually going to see them more often and it's just it's too difficult on New Jersey's part to beat Philadelphia that many times. About the first going to be a team protect mckennisa, the project mckennis? I'm not going to say no, but I don't...

...want to seem biased and I don't want to see I don't. I said it for me, more tax messages that I don't know what I'm talking about and Blah, blah, blah, and I should delete tweets. So I'm going to go with the Philadelphia a little flyers as a team to watch to beat New Jersey. So the only thing I'll say about that. Maybe a game gets added in between now and then. But are you telling me that they will not lose a regulation game until two thousand and twenty one? You let you run down the schedule. There's team Marilyn matchups, there's ducks Matt Shot. Why not before? That's fine. I mean they they're already went what two months without losing a regulation game. And I'm also curious sewing one goal games. New Jersey is three and two and, if you want to get technical, there three hundred and two. And I think when I spoke to Anthony to Polo back when I was invited to a game, and New Jersey is great, great organization, friendly people, Anthony and I, long story short, discussed about just the matter of New Jersey being in a one goal game and just that challenge. If they go into overtime, how do they handle that? Because New Jersey is used to winning and winning by more than one goal. So I'm curious to see Philly is already played New Jersey to a one goal game. They played more than a handful of times, if not just five. It's going to be tough for New Jersey to continue that. Against Philadelphia they actually came back. They were down for to one. Today they started playing those schools on. Yeah, New Jersey, or yeah, against a tough Maryland squad. It was rescited to the very really s a good playoff team. So so they're at fourteen straight games of the point. The Rangers are at eleven and they're creeping up on the sixteen number, which is where we have two teams tied for that spot. And then obviously seventeen revolution, Seventeen Rangers, twenty six junior flyers. Thirty three point streak was that little fires year. So a long way to go to start setting that record. But you could say halfway there. Obviously can sing the songs. is on Jovi. I don't know. Don't like all. We're halfway there. Did Yours again? We're halfway there. I don't know, Brittany, if you were like relying on me to sing it or I wasn't singing. I don't know why you didn't sing it. There wasn't singing on there. That ain't for me anyways. The second place team right now team, Marilyn had a little break in their schedule. They come back beat a little fires seven to four, which is the first time they beat them all year after losing their first three. As to Kyle's point, if faced that team so many times, eventually you break through. And then they win today against the seven s and overtime. And to that one goal point again, it feels like Marilyn has come out on top more often, and those one goal type of games especially. Kyle had two of them against Protech, I think, as of today. To answer my consistent question, team Maryland is the second best team in that conference right now. And what is the bubble that we have downe there? So that is all those. You're looking at eighty seven's team, Maryland, Connecticut rough riders, Connecticut chiefs, Jump Pro Tech. So the chiefs are also in the mix too, going to into this last week, so they can you overlooked either. I was actually asked what do we have for like the bubble down there? Scheduling. Yes, there is that. There is not one yet. There is none. Okay now, so we just south is thriving. Say Yet, please, Jeff. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yes, right now. We know everything's changing by the hour, by the day. I'm still do Friday I will be at Protech, hopefully, fingers waiting. That's the that's the cheese steak. Yes, this is review. What's my boy frank talking about this for three weeks, hoping I can still accomplish that. I can smell it and taste it. So I did. We just talked on the first place team and the second plus team, second place team and another consistent question that we ask in this conference. Who are there are the hosses? Who knows? Knows to sick of them? I just there's seven, six and two and she's lying, Brownie. Don't worry, she like just I can't get a pole sup behind them on who they are because they don't know. They're having their own identity crisis on US trying to identify who they are. They don't even know themselves. We come on this podcast after the the ten nothing game and then they win seven to three. Holy Hell, rich is texted me...

...and screaming. That's New England conference chatter. Rod to the Atlanta brought to the south. We the South Hashtag, we the sow kneel from the north. If we're going to work with this neo I'm still going to stand by what I said last weekends. Team is you talented team. You love the houses. So, Kyle's, because I s clausing there was as yeah, you're in closet hoss. We don't know like what this team is, and it's like the reality is they're in third place. They've sixteen points. If they were to win tomorrow, they would be in second place. I would just like to I would just like to make a fact. Nails can sure this. They would not be the second place team in the New England conference, and that's a fact. Well, they can only play what's on their schedule, and the reality is is there in the MAC conference. A see. So we're just learning out flames right now. Guys, M Auso's get it together. That's all I have to say. Talk to me. Were we all stuff out? Are we all football fans? We'd pay attention to the NFL, the NFC. He's the best team. I think at first place right now was three and seven. So I'm going to give credit to the Connecticut rough riders, who had no one returning player and are seven, six and two right now and are competing against a tough team, Maryland, a hungry Protech team, a hungry Connecticut chiefs team. I don't want to hear about the any in me. See, I'm telling you, I'm out number. It's three to one. Right, I reget behind the before I get behind the house. Represent you, but I provide facts can. So to your point, Connecticut already had a four game winning streak. They beat some very good teams during that streak. So they've showed me to be protect who you guys all said was going to beat New Jersey? Right, and the maybe sevens. We're playing a wrong where's the quacker? Am I wrong? Where's the quacker? Proper superstitious? It's not coming out this week. The quacker is not coming out. That's gone. He's superstitious. Do you have to wait for them to get back on the the DUB train, on the Tutu anyways. So Connecticut they will one we can call them Connecticut because there is a Connecticut chiefs. That crimes my gears to no extent. Yeah, I hate when you say connecticuts. I'm like, which one thieves? But I refer to the rough riders as Connecticut. Very just me it. Maybe it's just like a personal preference, but he's consistent. Yes, you can call you can call one, no co like northern Connecticut, and then the other one can be okay. So now, so co? Don't know? Oh so, yeah, so any CONNECTIC teams right now? It's pretty obvious. So Connecticut is five and five in their last ten. I said it last we who there are five hundred team in this league. If you go five hundred early on, you're in the mix. I'll leave it at that. It's up for discussion. You guys tell me more. All I'm saying is don't get slapped seven to zero by a team you beat. You mean? I mean if they beat the best. Yeah, whatever, alum, I don't I there's cords of fire takes in. What is this episode? If I ever step one at five no ice house, I'm going to get blown up. Wow. Anyways, I actually held on. You know, it's really cool the let's go off the rails for a second. You know what, why not? Isn't this all reference know? This is actually for Veterans Day. Happy veteran stated all the veterans out there. Thank you for your sins. Isn't this the ordered forty five birthday for the Marines and we're doing the things episode of the HL. That's kind of cool. WHOA BAMN separate from that? Was Good. That was good, Jeff. Good job. Ready, Jeff, for Prettey's math problem of the week, though, no, thank you. No, thank you. Not think anything. If we record a podcast and no, I can't do much, can I? Can I finish? Please do if we were quote a podcast every Thursday forever, when do we hit two hundred and forty five? I have no idea. What's come back to the evening. At least come back to us next Thursday, next Wednesday with the you don't Twenty Children Two thousand and twenty four, as you can honestly the know. The kids are near your math whizzes. They would get it in like two seconds. There you go. You can be on the other hand, we're not a fantasy pickin. No, we always love. I'm and after finishing in seconds. Sorry, Whoa? Well, we haven't even touched on the PE's. Also the PE. So anyways, says this week B Jr's rolling. Oh wait, beat, you are lost. They're just gonna bring you is not okay. Be Literally lost their last game. Literally lost their really didn't. They literally won today.

Okay, lost their last game yesterday. Okay, so their last game would be today because it's completed, but that's fine, okay. And you know what, sticking on the whole earning the point thing. They did lose in a shootout, so technically they did her in point. Number two in the EHL P powerankings has started to have a little bit of the number five, five shell power akings curse, and I that's interesting. That was okay, and it's like I could the last shoe times that I've put a team there, they lost and three of the last four or three of the last five, and it's like I get number five in the EHL because sometimes it's a team that's kind of like just working their way in the cost field, but the number two, number two, who should be like hey, we're we've been here. We yeah, it don't doesn't make sense. I mean what's in me really interesting to see o the rest of this week plays out, because we're not fully on the HLP yet. We're in the HL again. We know that number one loss in overtime. If the Rangers sweep the weekend series with Walpole, I think it serious to not happening. But are they do they do they jump the seven s. The yes because they're twelve, and one to twelve because seven's lost. So yeah, I vote yes. So I'll see you guys next I'll see you guys in one day. But if Walpole wins one of those games, what do you do for an order? will put it for a vote. Well, I think we. I think that we discuss that when the time happens. We're getting it. This was this of ourselves. This is the first happening. Yeah, this is the eighty sevens lost their game. Okay, cool, justice. Wait, wait, hold on, sevens laws to mirror. Well, Justin not right. I don't know. I would say that Bjr goes one, seven two, if Bjr wins both. Being here, we're talking against the sevens. Everyone arrest me, Kay, but can we hold on a second? That's if the Rangers win both games against the Express. What it is? No, that's if they lose. I'm saying if they lose, if they split, because at least they lost to a team that's in the top five. Maryland is not in the top five, so therefore they should be one. Okay, all right, and actually maybe one hundred and one one if they were. Yeah, right, there ten O, one, one. Right now. If they went both, all of us, they go to twelve, saying if they lose, what if they lose in regulation? They have a regulation lost, but the seven's done. They stay, but the eighty seven still lost. So a team who's not top five and that at least they lost to a team who is in top five. Okay. Now ultimate curveball. If the what if Wall Pole sweeps the series? Okay, then I'm like Zee, okay, we need to see what happens with Vermont abs before anything. That's not hating on anyone, it just like I'm in like a because you're going right now. So with Walpole sweeps be Jr. What happens if the ABS Sweet Vermont, for Vermont sweeps the ABS? So there's a lot going on because the ads, because respect, because the ads are ahead of Vermont and Wall Pole. Yeah, yes, I'm at sorry, yes, okay, yes, so we need to hold the Hassas if you would. We wore we do any of this. So in a way we're going to hold our horses back to the Ang the P Britty had to start out by saying the Rangers are rolling. What about the only team in either division hasn't lost a game at all. When's the last time? They even played two games this past week Jersey. Now this this stupid avalanche, sir. Yeah, it's stupid. Now they shove it anyways. anyways, they beat the wolves nine hundred and twenty three in the chief, seven to four this past week. The one player too long, one player to watch who is in his second season, Tucker to sown beauty. He has some hair to Oh my God, I facs of the lute, Rock Jen dowunder the bullet. Is it now we tucker just has like long, curly like he's a beauty. I love that, just like flow ditty. Way. He's an ALF. Yeah, he has a pe. Have Pep. And in his last five did he his last five games? That's a sair. Yes, and his last five games he's had three points in every game. That's good. That Tucker goes off. Tucker's a king, the last of good lettuce, and that's good for the brand. Baby. The last three games he's had two goals and assists in each game. He has nineteen points and nine games. He had twenty three points and forty games last year. So what's he doing in the PA and that's a question to ask Chris Sorella, who has nine hundred kids. Barty P anyways, know it. It's a fair teams. It's a fair point because we've Jeff and I talked about...

...this in the very first broadcast of the year. Ryan Bailey did not play a single game in the EHL last year. You know what? I also think that depends on who look at their team. He could, I think, the like Bailey could have played on a different team, hl team last year. I just because I means every play like e I mean and fit is everything. Yeah, and some comes out. One of these kids an opportunity. I know you don't want to let him go, but you see it at all levels and SAA, the NHL. We can see a guy who puts up two goals and five assists and eighty two games in the NHLS and he gets traded and he's up for the, you know, an MVP award. It happens. So I'm just curious. Why is this Sune kid turn it up and EHLP? So we give Chris the benefit of the dumb maybe he sees something that we don't as a coach that you know that he wants. He doesn't want to expose him yet. Maybe his skill set. He thinks he lacks in some area, or he wants him to own certain skills, and or if he brings him up and explodes them and he loses his confidence. I mean confidence is a big thing in hockey. And look at a guy like Chris Bork. He has made a huge living in the AHL, comes up to the NHL, doesn't do anything. It's like it's totally to totally different and let me cry. This is completely positive from the player sense. This is not questioning the player. You know, I want to see him too. Well and as a future owner on Kip cod. This is a joke, everybody, please don't take it seriously. This is not a chileless because I am joke. I family on. It got its kinds older and, as you know, a guy who's recruiting. I'm just looking out for the players. Sucks that we couldn't see this weekend coyle. We're all trying to file follow the two thousand and twenty curl sears. That's yeah, he is. He's a studies. Got The flow. Did he status? Yeah, and he is in a great organization, in organization as depth and is clearly championship caliber. So keep up the good work, young testone. And in the central division, just like the EHL key home and home series, Wall Pole and Rangers will pull on. Their first matchup against the Rangers yesterday, as Brittany said, in a shootout. So if the next two games are anything like that, then we're in for, you know, two good ones between the two and four ranked teams down south. The third ranked team sits there, still in first place in the eighty seven. So it's consistent in that, just like we said in the NYC of the Eh shels, you mentioned this term. This the standing is one term. The standings can slit, they can flip just like that. So and and that also stays consistent in our fantasy and I think you guys are all you guys are all ready for it. So we transition into what to watch for before we wrap things up. Here's what to watch. More this week in the east show it's time for the ecrew fantasy challenge, brought to you biber to cheese, brick up and pizza and pasta, your homebar, authentic Italian dishes, catering and you've dining. Check out their party pizzas and specials APP Ortucchi'Scom and I spent in the flip because up until yesterday Brittany had zero points. This week, right, and then, thank you, B J. Are you beauties? He's getting me some sort of points and it's my defenseman. Blow. Wow, sorry, they don't blow, Dr Hanson, I'm really sorry. I know where acquaintances so overall, though, overall, where do you look at the defenseman that we picked this pass people? Between the four of dude, nobody did anything. Yep, we had. He had ugle, two assists and one power play point in there. That wasn't it, was it? The defenseman said, good night, we can't we we're not coming today. We have to go for the Fenstman said, Hey, we're gonna PROTECT OUR ZONA. Do we're supposed to do. We're deemon, you know we're not. We're playing. I do defensive, defend. No offensive defenseman games this week, none, they said. New for the first time this season, I finished in last for the week. Who I say? So Ry Dukes to assists, decline, brought to a goal, assists, one power play point and I picked the goalie who got traded. So that was a little tough to swallow. So I didn't know you can pictures. Let's give you. Let's see the silver lining in this, though, my friend. You had you did not have a single will digit effort. You still have yet to get. You got ten points fill, add ten points and points flats. So look at that. And I'm not rightly really like my group this week. So we're going to starting. Why what's interesting? Saying I didn't. I don't mean in bad way. I kind of...

...sounded like a little Beauchi, but I thron's get real sense. Yeah, Chie. So I'll player that hasn't been picked at this year. Forward position is EAGAN Smith, at two thousand and one from New York. I mean Egan. It's really simple. It's simple, buddy. Just do we did game one of the year. Four goals, game winner. If that's all, no big deal. You can, if you do that again, goals in the game, Wider Bell, if you did it against the avalanche a hundred and eight. Oh. Now, sure, Nash guest appears for making his appearance. He walks, he can right now. He likes the back. Let's Gosh. Yes, where's your Lumberjacks Jersey Belt? My God, but the tough part in it is. We mentioned this last week in the podcast. This year's adalancee team, while they don't have the top scorers and they like that, defensively they're shot and the three goals that gather against the walls, it's probably, you know, as many goals are going to get up in a game. So Egan just be the one that scores all three goals and it's get the top five team. And just if I had to make predictions, Walpole and Rangers Split, Lumberjackson and Avalanche Split, and I'm hoping that Egan would be the big reason why the lumberjacks get at least one win this weekend. But then shifting back to the point, I don't know how this happened, but on a podcast a few episodes ago, I came on and I talked about Michael O'Brien, another one, and I talked about his ice time at sea coast and how I just love the way he played. I love this composure of the body language of the ice and everything I did. And then he followed me that night on twitter. Oh before drop before yeah, Whoa, and I was Neil Crystal Ball, Kyle Mo. Someone tapped in here that I can't see. But now, yeah, your FBI agent called them up. I'm looking at the schedule this week and they got a three and three with the New England wolves. O'Brien's got five points to the first ten games. He runs the power play. I think secos wins two out of those three, maybe one out of those three. It's going to be those are those are two teams I have. Think all three games to cows point earlier could go to overtime. And then my last pick is ballsy because, yeah, I like it. You know, the last thing. The last time Eric bockholtz started against the Boston junior rangers it was the fifth rate loss for the wall pole express to start the season and buckles got pulled and I it's another shot at those top up five points. But he's playing well like a new I know Palmer's got two of the last three shutouts and buckles has the one between, because Walpole has three straight shutouts. Who into this? If they make it four straight shut outs or even five straight shutouts, I think collectively the poor lust would be baffled because I was a house strong. The Rangers offense is but the shot totals will be there this weekend. Yeah, that's a fact. And and will the saved totals follow? I guess we'll find out. But those are my pics for the week and I hope to God I'm not in last again next okay, this is my turn. You know what, although last week my you know what, last week I had a nickname for Nathan Young, I have a new nickname for Nathan Young. You guys are not going to get it. Corner Resolve. This one is for you, boof young lob got me nothing. He got me so bad, though, it's okay that we don't need to know. We're not spelling it because it would expose him. It's not like an expose, as the beats name. We don't need everyone's adding younger on xbox. No one's allow everybody at him now. No leaves younger alone. So yeah, younger, Damn, too much for me. So I'm going to switch it up and I'm going to go with Ryan Bailey from bjr at forward. Kid Lights it up. He's been lighting it up. You know, if one Bjr for doesn't work for you, just pick another one and you'll do fine. Words of wisdom. Words of wisdom be Jr. You guys people see in the future of the pics. I am the lone wolf who thinks be JR is going to win this weekend, because according to everyone else's picks, they aren't. You both picked Walpole. Will get there whatever. Next, Onundy, we got I. You know what. You guys call him Whiz with. I just calling Frank Jake Frank and feel. Come on, he is with. He is wiz with. Now his name is frank. So we're picking Frank. Were got steaks, P LF. Go Frank, turn out now he has to. He has to get more points for you than he got for Jeff and Kyle combined, because Jeff and Kyle combined was our goal right now. Appreciate it with thank you, frank, you with with. See You on Friday. Nah, Frank's Franks pulling the...

Kyle McKenna's. So I'm I'm ready. Let's go. Frank, got out. It's the protech McKenna's Britt whatever that Christ for this. And then in goals Triston Hadley. Goodbye, Peyton Rand, get up. I hope you're ready. You know what, Payton Durant, there the seahawks are playing worcester again. Payton Durand was in net for the DUB last time they played wooster. Couldn't say I could die much into the other two games because I was a little busy. But PEYTON Durant, I am ready. So Yep, go off, B Jr PLA. My Nick Name for the seahawks is in appropriate, so we will just go with the Sah all right, all right, that's so, Brett. Nice picks, nice picks, say. It's so. All right, Kyle. I'm going to start between the pipes with the sea coast Spartan goaltender, rhet Bubba Fett Mandalorian was a Leck. Oh, here we go. I hate what I don't get it. He's got one shut out on the year. He's seen a majority of the minutes. So I Trust Sea coast in the circumstances in the upcoming week. This is a good team, I think, a team we don't mention enough about. But anyways, I'm going to move up to the Blue Line. Dominic honey nut Tariko from the chiefs. Wow, on defense, boys, don't let me down. Shot Board again. You said you guys still have to help me out here with my main man, not Neil Ravin. Yes, Mr Dennis from Maryland, who was also featured for the court of the week for the AHL Hanko our COMPANIS. Don't call me Denny's ARCPA. Yeah, so I stud on forward. He seems like a point per guy type of player. You know, I need the points done. That's coff golf. So let's go, he know, and Jeff, I point six. WHOOHOO, the first place guy from this past week. I will take it. What is that, Jeff? Is Jeff say what you have to sorry for this week? Well, were you gonna say, Brett? You don't want you want to rip it. All right. Now I can hear the train going by, which is a perfect segment into jeff picks. Chuck, Chuck, Chuck, Chuck, Chuck, Chuck Che all right. So, well, we got multiple trains in this league. Today was the battle of the trains, as I called it on social media, and the battle by the wabble express. Five nothing, red train, the red train exactly. So we're going to go with Mr Zach Simon on forward, who kneel, had and Neil got quite a few points. was that five goals he had for you a couple weeks ago? Now let's go back to the spreadsheet. He had five goals to you assists, one power play, one trained, one game winner, just a solid twenty four fantasy point week. I mentioned that on my broadcast today, that he did so well for you after his breakaway goal. That was a beaut today. So we're going to hold for a couple more breakwiggals next week, sweet and maybe we'll come from Neil's first place spot. He now standings are getting tight. By Way, Bret, you're getting really pile to dude. I am Kyle, wash it out. Really Know Bji is gonna sneak up on your own. Bailey, I really count anybody, all right. So everyone remember this. This is the the person you voted for once again, who won the election, and then a week from out today, we'll see what the results are. Just remember it's pretty's world. The rest of us are just living in it and not the living in my universe on the fence. Got To say hello to this young man today, Romeo terrain. We'll just going. You had himself a good game today. I said Hey, buddy, have a good game so I can talk about you on the podcast, and he did two apples against the railers and we're gonna hope for some more apples next week. So keep eating well, Romeo, and then in between the pipes. Well, buckles is gone. So, Mason Palmer, how do you do? You looked good today and you've looked pretty damn good the last couple of weeks. So let's go, Mason, and and that's it. So she real. I will tell you this, Jeff. I. My sources have confirmed that buckles to starting on Friday, Palmer on Saturday. Oh, so I get to see Paul. I could see all of them on Saturday because I'll get to call it a thanks to you. Thanks Neil. So when? When? So you guys are team poll. If the Yang, if Ryan Bailey scores on Saturday, pretty's going to be hammering the buzzer button. Be Slammy, I'm gonna punching...

...the glass like Boo Boo, Boo, boo, boo, Doubu Bro. Love me some Ryan Bailey. Ahead Ryan earlier in the season. I wish, I hope he does just as well for you, Bert as he did for me, because he's you know what, I hadn't ready for a JR slam packed Saturday. But, Neil, like we were saying earlier this doesn't mean more wallpole fans. Me and you were just coming, I'd say, going on a we're going on like a ballsy direction where trout Neil was the team w squad. So walpole counts in the DUB train. If I have to predict, Neel just threw up a dub. Neil, the newly just threw up a w on the PODCAST. Everybody, Walpole, wooster, whoever starts with the wake, we use our first screenshoff in the podcast, eyne put a w up. No, I won't be throwing it. I mean only Jeff and I only Jeffer than I'm gonna like Bjr Young. I got a lot of Timees to it. What is that one, Kyle? It was supposed to be a d for the ducks. Oh, but not the duck whistle. No, wit, here's a trains dishes. So where's that? Way Ever need it? Yeah, it's me. It's me. I had the drum by owns. Your have a train as well. The trainers to right outside my window. Now all the trains here as well the train. A lot of good games on the schedule this week in both divisions. Obviously make sure to check out the rinks that you want to head to to find out what the different spectator rules are and are not. You can follow every box score at eastern Oculida, or can have forced every game has on hockey TV. Catch me and nails broadcast on Sunday. Get Oh stre's this weekend. Oh my God, yes, I can tell you right now. You know what deal. If Egan shrimt scores, I'm going to be yelling, good yelling. I'm going to be said, I've probably four hundred and twenty, like a reavalnge game. I've no idea. One hundred and ten on Sunday. Oh okay. So if I two her four hundred and twenty on this, everything all right. Pretty Good Luck, though, kill it, kids, I'm going to need it. Nell might kill me. So it's gonna be fun. It's all be good to be a good week. So with that, everyone on this podcast will be a broadcast or after Sunday. Wow, lock it up, chop the Mike.
