On this week's episode I chat with a pair of alumni and Anthony del Tufo and Anthony's Shrum, a pair of ninety nine goaltenders who each took very different paths through the east show and on to college hockey. This week's episode also includes a breakdown of the latest action in the ehl in the EH LP, as well as another set of picks for the e crew fantasy challenge. Let's begin with del Tufo and Shrum, the founders of grizzled hockey. I'm joined now by Anthony Deltoufo and Anthony's strum, the founders of grizzled hockey. How's it going, guys? Good. Thank you for having us. We're excited to be here. Yeah, thanks for having US new I know I wanted to have you guys on somewhat close to the start of the season. My hope was that when I had you on you would have been able to have played some college games yourself by this point. Obviously it's a it's a very, very unique year and I want to hear what you're each going through because you're both obviously alumni and goalies from the EH shell, but in two very different confidences. So they'll twof ill. Let's start with you. What's going on for you up a plasts Burg? So we a few weeks ago were proposed to have a a game schedule pure sunny act play. They split our our division, into two smaller conferences. It was supposed to be Plottsburgh, Brockport, Morrisville and ice we go. That was the east and in the West was Genoceo for Donia, buff state in courtland. So we were we were going to play our conference in eight Games, in the other conference would play there's in eight games and then the top two scenes from them would play a semi final and then an eventual final. So that was that was what we heard a few weeks ago and then recently our season was actually canceled completely for this year and we were all given back our eligibility. Okay, and from for you with Worcester State, where things out in Massachusetts? For you? Well, right now with the rings just got shut down for two weeks and so we haven't been able to practices or have any practices. The other private schools around here, assumption and Becker, I know they're practicing, but right now we've been shut down. There's been some cases with other winner sport teams on campus that kind of ruining things for US practice wise. But we're we're working out five days a week, like we're still preparing like it's going to be a full season. We had a bunch of Captain Skate still, so like we're full blown ready to go like the season starts. Were ready to rocks. And of course we have ehl teams in both states. The New York apple cores haven't been able to play a single game at home yet this season. The Massachusetts teams kind of had a week this past week we got in the number of games and obviously the rings shut down again. I think I know the answer to this question, but I want to hear each of your takes on as from will start with you. You're both ninety nine birth years. What I'm going to see start happening here from my league role, I'm going to start seeing a number of familiar names come back to the League who are two thousand birth years, who have committed the school, maybe going to college right now, but still can play juniors. Will start with you. If you were a two thousand, would you come back to the AHL right now? A hundred percent. I would have come back, even even if, like everything was going on, or, like we're nothing was going on Covid wise, I still probably would have played. You know, another year like that. That age out year just seems so vital, like looking back on it, like if I want to play it, there's probably no chance I would have been able to have this opportunity to play a college hockey and the age up you're so important because you're just it's another year developing and these guys in college are all twenty three, twenty four, like grown men, like fully ready to go like you lose a year because you go in early. So it's like guys that are two thousand still't in college right now waiting it out. It's it's tough trying to think of what to do because you want to maybe wait play also you want to get those extra games and keep that eligibility to it's fine lines. Pretty tough. Would you do the same thing? I'll...

...do well, first of all, I would just like to say shrumilly wants to go back so we can try to get a junior goalie fight in. He's been as he's had a few of those in the Ahl of the years. Yeah, sure, rob last year I tried to and I just got thrown out for no reason. But I would have to agree, like shrum said, not being able to play right now is pretty tough. We haven't even been able to skate as a team like at all. You've done one cap captain's practice in we had to actually drive over to Vermont before their rings got shut down, so there was about an hour and a half trip and a ferry one time just to skate for an hour at ten PM on a Sunday. Oh my God, but guys were itching to get on so we did that and I honestly I agree a hundred percent with s from it's that my our age out year, both of us being ninety nine together, it was a little it was tough. Obviously we both were fighting for the net, but we also knew that if we wanted our team to go deep into the playoffs, that we had to both be ready to go and our whole team had to be going on all cylinders. In the age outs are an important part of that, and if you get guys back that have had maybe a few college practices or have had that extra time to develop at the at the higher levels, then they're obviously going to be better suited to play again in junior's and probably bring that a more of a more of a leadership instead of being just another guy in the locker room. Do you think the age Olt year makes a difference more for goalies then for forwards and Defenseman, trum you want to start. I'd have to say a hundred percent yes, because goalies, goalies are known to develop late and especially to like the big thing about being goalie playing in a league is the timing and like learning how the game flows at different speeds and and knowing different teams and situations. Like my first year in the EHL was like a huge jump from the ehl premiere, but then playing that second year, it felt like it was a night and day difference. Yeah, and just having that extra times to learn. It's like playing at any level, like forwards indeed, like sometimes you can make the jump and it seems easy, but I'm a I'm sure too it's very good for them to you have more time to read plays and like you know how the Games going to go. There's no reason to be nervous because you're already played, you know, fifty, sixty, seventy games. I would say, Oh, you know, I was going to say. You know, I would say that just off of my experience, I was always advised that colleges wouldn't really even consider me until I was an age out just because of, you know, like how they work their recruiting and just off of the amount of games I would have played up up until my age out year. So I would say that that it definitely plays a huge role and also, again, like development, it's just an extra year to really figure out who you like, what you need to work on to get to the next level. You know what your strengths are, you know, Polish up some of your game, but also just to really and I shrum can probably attest to this, just to really like figure out, I guess, your role, like what your role would be at the next level too, because I know a lot of guys probably are a little shocked sometimes with roles that they that they'll play. And it's just something that you need to get used to because at the college level those coaches jobs are are putting food on their families tables. It's not it's not something that can be taken lately. So they're always looking to put that best product on the ice. Yeah, and I bring that up because you know, this year in hockey in particular, anyone that's a ninety nine or a two thousand birth year is in a really weird spot because, like you just said earlier, with the SUNNIAC canceling and you don't even know if you're going to get a chance to play this season. But then for shrump's point of view, where they haven't said that yet, it could be coming, it could not be coming. You know, do you would you feel more comfortable now? We'll looking ahead now five months. You know, say the hockey season comes to an end, you guys don't get a chance to play your freshman year. Say It works out like that, right, but you're ninety nine who still have that college spot. Would you rather be in that spot or a two thousand playing juniors who's now trying to figure out if there even as a spot for them at the next level? I know it's kind of a tough question. I would say that I'd rather be at college just because this year of not playing hockey as much as it really it really stinks and it was very upsetting and it really hard pill swallow. I'll I got comfortable being back in the classroom, getting back into...

...a an academic routine and just getting to know the program, what's needed, what's expected. That was a big one. With workouts. We did work out a bit before this all kind of got shut down, but just at comfort level here and and getting to see what the goal you know, for me, getting to see what the goalies that are ahead of me or doing, getting a talk to upper classmen and again like just that overall experience of being at college. And before I let you continue from for the the kids that are two thousands in our league right now who are probably, you know, stressed out beyond belief for all of them, but I'm sure even the goalies even more. What do you tell those guys? Trump is oh what I well, you will let you eat this one off. Okay, honestly, the big thing is is that colleges aren't playing. So those coaches that normally have time where they're trying to game plan week by week, they got two matchups a weekend. They're traveling, they have all this time to recruit now. Yeah, and they have time to go watch, you know, a random game at twelve o'clock on a Wednesday versus you know, or even weekend games, even the showcase games, more often than the year before. So, even though it may be more stressful because they're made like we may still get have a year of eligibility, so those seniors may come back and may cause a whole chain reaction of committing would be way harder. But you also have better opportunity to get in front of coaches and communicate with them because they have way more free time. And there's two really key points, and I want to touch on the you guys have brought up so far. First, academically, you guys are kind of getting yourself or custom to get back into the classroom. How would that work if you were, you know, a student the first semester here and then you went back to junior's the second semester? Would you still be able to take those online college classes or how would that work? Would you just go back to being a full time junior hockey player for the second half of the season? I mean, I would say just off of cure routine, I would continue to take classes and to continue to build an academic resume just because it makes things easier. Like this semester I'm taking sixteen credits and then my spring semester, because we definitely will not be playing, I'm taking eighteen. So I'm trying to get my workload, the brunt of my workload, done early so I can focus on, you know, field work when I'm a an upper classman and, you know, really really like home down on also the hockey aspect of it. The big thing I'd see is is the academic eligibility, because if you if you take classes first semester and then don't take classes the second smetter, semester, become a full time stute or full time junior hockey player. Like I'm not sure how that would affect going into the fall then, because you then wouldn't be technically a student of the school. Yep, because you take a whole semester off. So I have no idea what would happened there. So I'd be tough. You'd honestly have to take enough classes to consider it full time student, which we twelve credits, so I'd be plus two with junior hockey. I mean practice is normally, you know, you're done by like twelve or one o'clock with most teams, so you have that time to take the classes. So I feel like it won't be too hard. It's really so unique for every player and I'm sure that you guys still talk with a number of players that you played with or that came back to the league. When you see a former team, I like Briton Patricia, who did commit to Fittsburg state but still was able to have his junior eligibility this here, come back and now maybe he commits somewhere else, but you see him having all this success and his final year, does it make you jealous at all or just, you know, happy for him? I actually spoke to him yesterday and I were just catching up and I was saying that I was pretty I was pretty, you know, excited for him that he's doing well and you know, I was joking around after my season got canceled that I was gonna give his coach a call and try to get back in the HL for for a little stint. But I am really happy for him and I think that guys that came back that were committed, you know, I hope that they have, you know, a lot of success and the obviously the guys that are coming back that committed are making the hockey better. So it's only good things that can happen if these guys start to come back. And another interesting thing that you guys brought up is you were ninety nine goalies together. I'm not sure what you guys have for senior goaltenders on your roster, but I was never a goalie, so I have no idea. You know, the mental mindset that you have to go through. Obviously, I'm sure in the back as some of your minds are, are all these Goali is going to return again next year. How how is it being a goalie? How do you find ways to you know, cheer for for your fellow partner there,...

...but no, at the same time, I don't want to say you want them to fail, but you want to get that spot back. How do you mentally, you know, tape that all in and make sure it on the outside it looks positive for everybody else it's from. You can start this one. Well. I think the big thing is is you just have to have a team first mindset, like, obviously if you want to be as successful as possible, and like there's some deep down part of you that wants the other guy to not maybe play as good because you want to play next game. But even if he doesn't play good and you get that opportunity to play the next game, your team still loses, your team doesn't play as well, like if your team's having success, like the goalies will have success, like last year. I think it's a perfect example of it because del to Fone I, even though we both were ninety nine and we like we both feel we could have been a starter, playing thirty five games each. We both played home just a little under twenty games and we both had great success and it showed him the team success, that we were one of the best teams in the Ahl off of that reason. So I feel like if if you focus on your game and you do your own thing and you just support the other guy, the cards will fall the right place. I would have to agree to from really hit the now on the head. They're as hard as it was to be to age outs battling for the net. We also understood that we were both brought in for a reason and, you know, certain games we probably weren't going to agree with who was playing, but overall it's team success. If the team's doing well, the you know, the goals hope we're hoping we'll be doing well, and just everything like there's good team chemistry and just an overall good attitude and culture that's going on throughout the from the locker room down up to the coaches and, you know, for whoever else is around, and it were obviously for you. Sorry, you go. Oh, so that's that's another thing too. is like with that situation. You just got to focus on what you can control, just like with the s trying to commit this year, like the ninety nine who can't play because you know college may not happen. You just gotta just make yourself better and focus on the things that are are controllable, because the things you can't control, there's no point stressing out about them because it just makes you your game weaker, your mental mind weaker, and there's no point where about that. That's the most important point right there. And you know, for you guys are worked out. Obviously wish you had got a chance to play a playoff game this past year. That was kind of a very unique timing of the way everything went down, but you still both committed and then we get into the offseason and you guys come out with grizzled hockey. Either one of you can start this one. Who came up with the idea? When did the ideas start and how's it going so far? So the idea came up at the end of April. I was just sitting and sitting in my room and I was going through some shirts of mine and I found a shirt that I made back in high school. It was a goalie on the front and it was just a printed shirt, super simple, and on the back it said make the crease great again, and it was just I thought about it. I'm like, man, that'd be so awesome. The cell shirts, like shirt designs like that, and so I was thinking about it more and I called they'll twofo that night and I said Hey, what's what do you think of this idea? You think this could work? And he's like yeah, I think it's a good idea to just kind of happened from there, like we just started literally sprinting right as right as we got off the phone, trying to figure things out, like there were so many things that we really should have done first before we actually started out, but kind of the learning curve throughout it and actually we just hit six months the twenty of this month, so it's going really good. Actually, did you ever think you'll get to this point? I mean we thought of doing it as just something fun, just to you know, everyone, and I feel like the hockey community we all understand each other and we all have the same humor, relative, relatively speaking. So we thought we just try to make some stuff that would give people a good laugh and, you know, make them look good, because, you good styles very important. We at my stallmate Jordan Scrolls, a big style guy, so I learned from him pretty it really quickly. That was important. So we just wanted to do something that kind of give back to the hockey world because it's given us a lot and yeah, we we didn't imagine it would come to this, but you know, we were not. We're not foreign to working hard, so we've been putting in some good work for it. Well, I love it so far. I have my my neck gator that I got from you guys with the ehl store. I wear for every game that I've broadcasted so far, which hasn't been as many this year because everything going on, but every game I go to a rink I have it on. So obviously that's that's part of the reason why I wanted to have you guys on the podcast. It's you know, I admire what you've done when you were in the League and then what you continue to do out of the League and staying involved like this, and I'm sure, like you mentioned before, you're still talking with a lot of year former teammates that are in in and out of the League as well.

Over the summer I had every team come on for a team in the week feature and I wrapped up each interview with a unique question that I'm going to find a way to spend differently for you guys, because those interviews were all with the coaches and for a number of them they had multiple years of experience or multiple years of rosters to pick from. And I basically said, if you were in Providence, you know, frozen finals, the game is going to overtime. Who is your lineup? So now to spin it for you. Two guys as goalies, work together here however you want, and tell me who you'd want in front of you. Try and use mostly EHL alums or current players if you can, and they could. I need three forwards and to d and The lineup that you on in front of you. It could be a defensive lineup because you don't want to get scored on. It could be an offensive line up because you know that the pucks can be down the other end of the ice. Who would those three fours? And to DB Shurem, I got two already. Yeah, easily. Number One defenseman, Nathan Waller's New York ap of Corps. No, okay, go to stay at home. D Good hands. Gotta have him better. It will hold the best that. That's not even his most important attribute. It's he's a great guy. He's a good lock of Locke. I would have to say Tino a looney Philadelphia Revolution because, from what I've heard from many people, he was told to stop blocking shots in practice. So I can only imagine what he was in a game. Yep, I've had the opportunity to skate with cory done from the Vermont lumberjacks. That kid is pretty is something special. Offensively speaking, he's probably one of the one of the top guys I've had an opportunity to play against. I would say I'd put him on the back end as well. or You got forward in a Looney lallawrence and don't he's so far that's a good contrast. Don't he's pretty quick on his feet, while he's more of a stay at home D so I like those two together. I think that's a good Combo. Okay, two more forwards from what about it tout? What about Connecticut rough riders? Tow? Yeah, it's how tow did have my number this season, I feel like every time we played them at twenty. Seven shots and seven goals. He's pretty impressive. I'd say. Be a good forward pick or another another forward that he was actually my roommate my first year out in Philadelphia. Was Austin Morgan. He was the few times. I got this skate with the junior eight team during that year. I probably stopped maybe ten percent of the shots and I don't think I stopped them. Onts. He was I mean he's killing it at school and he's he'd be a great forward, I mean put up a bunch of points. So all right, I'm I'm trying to think from my first year when I was on team Maryland, which teams really burned us, but that was just about everyone be they while we're there, you got a chance, while you're with that team, to also play with the NA team. Were you expecting that and it kind of come out of nowhere or how did that all come about? So I actually showed up to open camp. I made main camp from that open camp and after main camp I was the we all interviews with with our head coach, coach Clint, and when I sat down for my my meeting with him, he he said that they were thinking about tendering me at because they didn't know where I was, where I was planning on playing. But then the EHL team came came about like right after that and they were starting to recruit guys. So they said instead of US tendering you so we can, you know, use it on a forward or, you know, build up our dcore. We're going to put you on the EHL team and you'll be, you know, the first guy we look to and you'll be someone that will practice with us from the start of the year. So I was a practice guy almost immediately, which was really cool. Got To got to know my future teammates and got to see the level that was expected and I needed to get to to be a consistent person in that lineup. And they ended to have they ended up having me emergency back up a game against Wilkes Berry, but the starting going I got hurt. So I was backing up Kevin Lake, WHO's at Hamlin with my old roommate Taylor Corey, and he we ended up losing. It was a tough game. He said he wasn't feeling great after the game, so he was expected to start the next game and I got a call two hours before the game on my way there, saying that I was starting the game and that and that it was you know, it was you know that we were all the team was all like new everything and I get to the rink and it's a specialty Jersey night so that they all see you right there. Yeah, this is our military appreciation one. Yeah, and I end up...

...getting there and they wouldn't they weren't able to order me once. So I was wearing the starting goalies Jersey, who is my longtime goalie partner, David Tomayo. So I was wearing it Tomayo Jersey and all the Wilkesbarre guys knew him because he played for them the previous year. So they were all chirping me throughout the whole game like you're not David, you you're terrible. I'm like, I'm just an ehl guy trying to log in minutes here. Leave me alone. So I they would not stop the whole game. But after that I got sent back down and then they were having some goalie problems again late into late December. Yeah, and I got called up again and we ended up sweeping the generals that weekend and I started backtoback games and I kind of and I just stuck in out in the lineup. Yeah, and, like I was saying before, you guys have two very different paths. So, before we wrap things up, from your stories, totally different from doubt. Two Fos for all the eh LP. To EHL alums out there, how beneficial wasn't for you to climb the ladder just like that? My biggest thing is, I've one of my teachers always told this, told me this my senior year, was just trust the process and thinking about that all through three years of juniors. As I started out on eho premiere is a third string goalie. I mean I my first game I got pulled and then I didn't play for two months and all of a sudden then on the starter and in the fight in the playoffs. Yeah, my second year and for the junior a team, I was hoping to be at back up gem Chris canality at the time. He came in and basically told me that I was terrible and I should a team and but I was such a good kid and I played on the team the year before. He likes the commitment, so he's just going to say just trust the process, just get better and eventually worked out to where it is now. So it's just a lot of mental toughness and just trusting that it's there for a reason. Like coaches know what they're doing and even though it may not seem like it's happening for a reason. Yeah, well, I really appreciate you guys coming on. We're going to get a lot more alumni on this season, but you're the first two to come on the podcast officially. Ever, I wanted to tie it and, of course, with grizzled for those at home that that want to buy either some grizzled gear or some ehl geart through the shop. I have a bunch of things I know I just got recently. It's all good stuff and I hope for both of you, even especially, if you doubt too from maybe things change here and you're both able to play here this freshman season. If not, though, I know you'll take the best that you're gonna make the but the mess the best of the situation. Right. You'RE gonna you're gonna enjoy the academics, you're going to use that year of eligibility and you're just going to kind of embrace it for what it is, and that's kind of the big message that I want all of the fans listening at home to realize is, you know, trust the process. You know, if it means a year off from hockey, it means a year off from hockey. But you're still going to have four more after that. So thanks again for coming on, guys. I really really appreciate get it. Another thing too. I just thought of one more forward from your question. I was thinking about that the whole time. A Guy I could not forget, Anthony Bensh captain this year. That kid would run through a brick wall he got caught strangling a kid and vermin. Yeah, I mean, he'll do anything it takes to win, and that's that's a kid I we need on a team. So can I just send? Can I tweet this line up out, or are you guys going to get too many chirps because of it? Oh, go for it, Yah, for sure. Okay, absolutely, that's a good lineup. I trust it. Okay, I hope you're I hope you're ready if any former teammates come after you for that one. The warning at the warning has been sent. will say. I already know I'm going to hear it from one of my teammates up in plots where doll. I'm sure it's going to be in my year, but that's okay, all right. Well, thanks again, guys. Are Really appreciate you coming on the PODCAST. Thank you very much. Thank you appreciate it. Thanks again to Anthony Del Tufo and Anthony's shrum for coming on the PODCAST, the first time we've ever had a pair of alumni come on the podcast like that. Of course, they launched the grizzled shop that we partnered with this offseason as well. I got the neck gator through them a bunch of other ehl stuff as well, so make sure you check out their shop for either your ehl or grizzled gear. I Know Britt has a pink grizzled sweatcher herself. So with that, though, let's let's bring in the ECRE through and breakdown a another pretty unique week, I guess we can say in the EHL. What do you guys think? It was a jim packed week, Neil. I mean there's a lot of a lot of games going on again. That's another great sign. Two thumbs up. I know we are not using video just yet, but two thumbs up for that, because this week was loaded with games. Since we all last met and did our podcast. The express starting to go on a little bit of a streak, the Rangers are go going on a streak and the railers starting to play some more games. So see a lot...

...of shuffling around the standings, which I'm sure we're going to get to all of that. And Yeah, just all around, just a very busy week in the league and I was told to make sure that I introduced you guys in particular this week. I I know who you are, but I need to reintroduce who all of you are to the fans, but at home, of course, Jeff, who just spoke first. They're cause a number of games in the league. When we can have our finals. Jeff does the color and the PA announcing for me when we're in Providence. Those are always fun when we have a lot of things happened at once and we're trying to figure out what to do. Good ever, a few years now. You, yes, but next, ill, next all bring in Brett, who I already mentioned once for having the grizzled sweatshirt, but you've never wont it once on this podcast. For some reason, our rights added our ring side reporter for the year. What were you going to say? They're gonna cut my throat for that one. This would be the perfect episode to do it for, but you gotta here. Will Get I think it's sitting in my dryer clean, but the rest of the clean clothes are just sitting in the dry and maybe next week or should go get it down? Well, I mean, let's put it this way, Jeff. The clean clothes that are in the dryer will be in the dryer still next week, so we'll just get it next week. Yep, brand an apartment bread, don't make couch. I'm real laxaying and, of course, as our ranks side reporter, in between now and next week's podcast we have our next video version of around the e show coming out on Tuesday, recapping what took place in the month of October's to keep an eye off for that. And then the last member of the e crew, this year's beat rider through hockey night in Boston. Kyle, the kind of Kyle. We have some tweets to get to this week. Your muted me yourself, Kyle, read it again. I had to ask on you, kyle, break clinner like. Okay, there you go, looves club. So launch everyone it is. It's great to be back. It feels like it's been too long. Yeah, I mean, if we got to get to some tweets and some reporting, let me know. And it was. It was a busy week. So I loved every second of it. You know I love falling this league and you know I'm looking forward more, and we do. We have a lot to get to in some exciting stories, and with that, let's start making your way around the show. It's time for this week segment of around the e show round. These shows brought to you by the junior hockey podcast, your home for junior hockey news, knowledge and nonsense. So, when the teams that are in first and second place in your conference don't play and you go out and play and win every single game and you're the Boston junior rangers and you move back into first place for the first time this season, you get pretty confident, confident so much that you feel the need to tweet out this minutes before the e crew comes to record the podcast. Did you just see that? Haven't been on twitter. Did you see that's meet salts? No, I haven't been a hold up, please hold please. Sold like this is minutes before our place in the north her bridge. October was a great month for our EHL team, a perfect and oh record while out scoring our opponents for five to fifteen. First place in the north. We are ready for November. More do they? They must have read keeping up with Kyle, because I'm sure that was my exact sentence. Rich probably copied and paste today. If we're going to be committing up more college commitments are are coming. Stay tuned, let's go. I have to teach them that when you do for the ninety nine as a Hashtag, apost can't put the apostrophe, because then it is no longer a Hashtag. And of course, unfinished business is a common phrase of storts this year. Is Richie D of charge of their social media or Oh yes, Oh yeah, I mean we have to have a long conversation about how, for like half of his tweets he has the patients to go find a picture, and the other half it's just gifts of Dragon Ball Z, like, dude, this man, look, here's one right here. Yeah, just great, like like hey, it's better than nothing, like yeah, it's true, he's creating content. Is Awesome, and then he uses that gift all the time. But a new terms word that we created on this podcast last week. The Boston Junior Rangers, through nine games, are a sea wagon. So, bobby, see Robbie, see you. I don't know if they would appreciate the factor we're talking about JR and using Robbie. See Helos not going...

...to be happy. It was going to be heated me and my new best friend a Lord. I don't know, he's gonna be a little upset with me. But the best part about Robbie as he's an Oto, so he could to be our own. He could be around this thing for a long time. We could use that term for maybe crazy. He's an old tool to thank you to the seawagon family. Can we just thank the family's now awesome shout out. What's St you like? You look at their first game, Jeff, which you and I called yea for three shoot out lost in the New Hampshire Avalanche, which wasn't excellent hockey game, HMM. And then the goals for since then nine five, three, four, eight, hundred and four seven five. So they're actual average. I have six goals a game. Oh my God, what's The low? There? Three three and had a three in there and a couple of fours. But you're going to an average three to four goals here. But they never gave up more than three, three, two, two, two, one hundred and two three and they using a combination. Right now he's still trying to figure out between broke McDonald and Mueller, as Mueller they did. That's a COMMI come on, it is your fantasy pick. That is my. We will get drug in. McDonald was mine. I know we got split duty and that's a rich stead he's going. He's so. I've now seen them twice. saw them last week. As everyone knows, we had some issues trying to get on hockey TV, but I played my best pretty heart Kyle McKenna, and did some live tweeting as a reporter bunny. I tried to take some notes of you guys and do some quick live tweets every time I could, and that was any game against the seahawks. That was a heck of a game. Build own is bills, Aniboni had them, had them on their heels for a little bit and then riches depth just took over. The speed the relentless D J are played this week. My fantasy picks would have been way different on just I i. You just and US Sony to choose from. You Got Bailey, you got cookie, my boy, Marcus Cook, you got, you got out Roucolo, you got, you forgetting the best one of them. We've been young. Yeah, Andy Moore, we got multiple more's. This is the lazzes bag. HASHTAG MS all. Yeah, that's a good one. You wait. I can't wait to pick connors one of these weeks when they get a few more games. But that was a huge addition. You can make the case that his twelve forwards are it's the best forward group in the League. Scary, it's scary. It's really the forward line of Shaffer, young and bizarre. You and they just tired it good. The heel for clarification, like like tired them out. That's what it was. Bill was hanging around and they were hanging out for bit. Peyton Duran was standing on his head, that kid. Yes, a number Liebel goaltender made a ton of huge saves, but when you can roll four lines deep and just keep him coming as the game goes on, you just it just wears people out. That's what they did. They just they wear people out. And you did a name you didn't even mention in there is Johnny Melon, Drew Clo Mal withdrew, we have been all Ryan Bailey, Ryan Bailey I start the year, and then Nolan drew clo rolls out and just coach for a few goals this week and maybe eat seacoast twice. And seacos isn't a bad team. No, like we've had am I powerkings. Yeah, WHE WE'RE gonna get have to get to those top five here. Not. I don't want to do it yet because I need to get to that fifth team. Yeah, but obviously the Lumberjackson the avalanche didn't play, so it's tough to really say too much or too true little for those two teams. They do have a big two game series coming up, which, oh, it's the games new, yes, it's the games, the color games. Like I realize something that's really depressing for me. Pretty and you're not going to give you're not gonna care at all about this. But but, baby not. They booked those two games on masters weekend. Like, yeah, I can confer, I do not go a fly. You want to do. The rest of the hockey podcast worlds you. We're having like hope went golfing seven you something times. The summer enjoyed, but you were smart. You're covid compliant. Where's the best place to be? Fresher Air, get vitamin D from the sun, like so right. I mentioned it to Chris and he goes that, see, that's what's wrong with you. You like baseball, you like football, you like golf. Where is hockey? I go, Chris Pepe, work for a hockey week many sleep a drink hockey. I mean he goes, well, we'll see if we see you that weekend. I was like, you're gonna see me, Chris, obvious. I'll just do it myself. Oh God, pret he's got it's called Kyle from the bullpen in New Jersey. I I only the only thing that worries me about your play byplay would be it. Could there be distractions, for just be an off the rail segment, the whole story. Davis bone got score. Is this last name really bone like as like? I said as that she's gonna go with this one or something like that, that we're going and a DD's be off the chart. And then show the Jongers he...

...was wearing on the ways the rink. What are those? Did you guys know David Reducey has a Mohawk. It's like no one cares Brittany because he has a helmet on. I love it. I love it. That's we need more CAS IS gonna be electric November fourteen. Tune in. Put that on my counter right no time for teams face off for it probably for hundred and twenty typical den face off time. Kind of, kind of a kind of a tour on the tough set for you exact suckers. Once, I mean twenty face at this point. At this point I just have to mention it. I did pass a homeless guy today in the state of Maine who had a sign that said Ned weed and I was like, I was like, okay, I'm going to keep driving now because guess I actually can't help that guy out. But Anyway, having autumn, he continuing down in the standings. We mentioned. Sea Coast lost three straight to the wizards, the Rangers and the Rangers. So I don't need Jeff and Kyle to go out each other again here because they've played tough teams. Jeff, we don't need to say that the sea coast is bad by any means. I'm gonna say that. Let's see about PLF and they lay the seven. Yes, we got the noise level in our podcast went up a little bit with that. But for sea coast, I don't know where they stand really it's this is the part of what I look at the standings, I can't tell who is what right because they find themselves right in the middle with ten games played right. So are they going to be there when everybody else has town games played, like, when you look below them, when you have the wolves and the wizards and the seahawks? We have played, you know, for a couple of those teams, less than half of those games. Where are those teams going to be when they get caught up in game count? That's a tough thing with this year. Don't know, and that's that's that's the annoying thing that we're all just like. We all kind of almost had a breaking point, especially neal this week. We're in our group text. Everyone kind of wanted to scream a little bit if everyone was unwell this weekend. That's a fact that I think of the Kyle, you are fine. You had no just the see, Kyle, it don't know. Cow Did should have been in asked in the day for the cheese steak. She did. That's a fact, but we wise. I had bigger issues, and that too. Maybe I just don't see anything. Oh, oh, there go, he comes on me voice everything problem he's keeping it private right now, but seriously, yet not being able to being able to do the cheese stake review. It kind of kind of at home. Yeah, we're all pumped up and continue. The only other thing I wanted to point out from the New England conference that Stut out to me is maybe I'm going really far off with this sleeper dark horse I've been. I don't want to see Walpole. You got to choose because like bubble tody, cody, cody and I are golfing tomorrow. But, but, but Worcester, and I know they're two for no and they're under five hundred, but that game against the wizards, like they were for for seven on the power play, like that's that's Somber Toni has the peep going. That's deadly and that to do you think of rid? What it? What did the warriors call when they scored after power plays last year? Pep. Wait, oh, yeah, so so the Valley Jun your warriors led the League and Gapps last year goals after power play. Okay, right, in was. It was hysterical because they were score like seconds after the power player the thing and like they wouldn't he wasn't charge. I was like head of the power play. He's like these gaps at today. It was, yes, a hockey development. That's I'm sure he worked on that a lot in the summer. And they were like hey, the player out of the box hadn't even rejoined the play at so it was like a power play goal. It just didn't go in that way. So you here's my God. Wait. I actually facetime them the end their day and it was comedy. They like we're in the middle of her meeting. What I was like, shut up, you love them. I call you and Usually Shut Upon Andrews coaching gap control. That's what defenceman right, not the YEA could be like. Wait, coach, we talk about gap control. For for do you use? I don't know what's going on. We're doing. So I mean a lot to watch them in that conference. I mean that's a team where I kind of feel bad in away. For some reason they beat the avalanche and then they go on a little bit of a tailspin here. But they've been if you look at their games. Yes, they're on a six game losing streak, but for the first four of them they were winning in those hockey games. It just shows you the word that we...

...use this past week which, by the way, guys, I went back and listened to our podcast in this past week and we spell parody wrong on the podcast. We spoke. Listen, I just spelt. There were very different words. We spelled charity, pret ty and Paradis. Yes, we spent are too different. We also live text from Andrew Andrew Cook, let's take texted them in a group chat. I go talking about gaps in the podcast right now. Andrew Goes, this is all separate text musters. By the way, I know all about that. Love a good gap. There's is being legit stat maybe within five to death seconds. Well, I have him submit that. Submit that rule or stat whatever suit be a new fantasy since around us. So cool. There you go, Jeff. But Jeff, you mentioned it there before Walpole. What's just so strange is how do you lose nine to three of the Rangers, come back, shut out the lumberjacks the next day and now all of a sudden you're on a four game winning streak and Walpole to train to and the red train, and I just talked about blue train. So we've crossing off each color of the train. Did you give us credits the not we will pursue charge this. Oh my God, yes, they were. It was. There was plenty of it was plenty of credit given. But with that wall pole comment, they are trending towards at they can beat the wolves on Sunday. They are the next number five to go back in and number five this year. This is it's a good transition because we're shifting down towards the south. Number five. We kick off the year Wall Pole Express. They lose their first game at number five. They're out. New England wolves, we put them at number five. They were three. Oh No, they lose their first game at number five, they're out. We then put team are on at number five. They were Oh no, they lose their first game. What like? What it like? What is this pattern? Mary though, we actually did keep them in the power rankings after that loss for one and oh at the time, but since and they are too two and one and kyle called the Games. They some of those were a complete grind against the protect you rope sexton in overtime and his shoot out. So time passes. Vermont slid back, but they didn't play at number five. And then this week the Connecticut rough riders, who they were the hottest team. They had just beat the eighty seven Jo Hass has and and hosses and they're up five nothing on the Apple Corps and like you go from like, Oh, a wheel falls off, the whole eighteen wheels fell off and they lose six to five. I'm sure are in the whole horse covered wagon fell apart. And then I'm like, okay, they'll recover against the chiefs and and bounce back and make number five look better. NOPE, five, four loss, hosses said, getty down out of there. Nil. I'm NA, I'm right there with you. I mean I've been talking Connecticut up for two weeks. I don't I don't know that's true. They're kyles comes there. Yeah, they're. They're my team to look out for. I also mentioned them in a segment with Anthony Apollo the eighty sevens game. But they're young team, right you so young teams are going to go through these phases and perhaps that's what sea coast is experiencing to now. Good Point. Come Yeah, very good, and I don't know how to close out games when you're younger. You're never you haven't gone through the that type of turmoil sometimes right, it's no, Yep, right, that's a very good point. And and we are so far away from the playoffs right now, like so far about it. But don't curse that too. No curses. But just to to think a little bit ahead, to look down at the middlantic conference. And you know the of those seven teams, six, seven. Hellol compose myself. We know that six of those seven are getting in. Sixty seven. Yeah, yeah, not seven of the eight or eight of the seven. So we know that one and two are getting a first round by the sevens are probably going to get one of the two first round buys. You know, James, that please. Okay, well, we all can agree that we think that's the case. WHO, too, is after that? I don't know. But then you look at the you know, three, six or four five matchups, rough riders, which is chiefs Sir Maryland, versus chiefs docks versus rough riders, Docks, little flyers, rough riders, little fliers. All of those can go any way possible. And I didn't say it last week, but I'll say it again this week, now that everything has happen. Who really is the second best team in this conference? I dk I don't know.

I mean as much as I want to say my boys in protect they can still prove that, they think what they played the least amount of games. But Philadelphia a little flyers, guys, remember what was it Owen for start? Couple of key wins over team Maryland, who's now in second place. And you know I said it. It's funny you mention this meal. I said it on the broadcast with Anthony to Polo against eighty sevens, team Maryland verse New Jersey. There's one team I don't want to play in the first round if I'm a math team, it's team Maryland. I just think they're they're built to play playoff hockey and the regular season probably won't matter to them as in comparison to other teams, and I feel like the Philadelphia little flyers are kind of similar. Yep, and and we have to use the term sea wagon again because he's looking at me like what is this guy talking about? No, because the has the seven the eighty Sivens was gonna say the P word it. I was scared pretty or parrot. It's pretty that next next, next time. I see the next time she spells it Jeff. I used it I use it in keeping up with Kyle. Yes, you your good. Yeah, it y kind of well, next time I use it we're going to spell it parrot, like the bird PA R R ot, and then we'll add into the bunch of ease at the other parent the team. That's what that's my it's my type. Look Pat at these standings and the only column I mentioned, the eighty sevens are a s wagon. Also, let's make sure that's out there. Also, at the top of their division. They're not on one. Rangers are one. Rangers have a plus Twenty Nine, goal differential twenty eight. But you look after that, Marilyn is at dead even with their gold differential, and then the rest are all and it's just it's I can't get a good sense of of WHO's who. You know, I know that when it comes to junior hockey the roster turnover from year to year is pretty significant, but there's just something to me about the little flyers name in the history of that program that says in my opinion right now I lean towards them. They'll figure it out and usually playoff bounds. Yeah, and and what's going to be wild to watch here is when the USA show in the NA team start to cut down their rosters like they're supposed to. Like, where are those kids going to end up? And though, some of those kids have already started trickling their way back down to us. And and obviously it goes with saying that those kids there first calls are towards some of our top teams. And the question now is like, you know, the sevens don't have any room, the Rangers don't have any room. You know, they end up on one of these teams that maybe just a step behind them. Are we even now? I don't know. I may got some inside our info, but that's not me. You got on that phone, Britt what you got? I know the exactly I can tell you that for free. I know the exact name that she's thinking of. There's a few love Ni that are starting to consider coming back to the league. You know, that's not who I'm thinking about, but facts. When you, like Bernie said, her connor resolve just came back. Yeah, and like just talk to me, rich and bill, the bill and bill and rich. We talked about this before the Rangers seahawks game the other day. Who Left? The seahawks owner, Bill Z only the builds a bill collette, Bill Collinsty, awesome guy. Got To stay next to him during the game. Did my live tweets. Really got to sit and I've seen him a bunch of times. We've never gotten a talk, so that was cool. We talked about with the with the nestcat canceling and and certain leagues that are now just canceling. There weren't just sports seasons. Were like this is gonna be like a free agent pool for you guys, and they were like yeah, and that's when rich was like a car was also coming back tomorrow. He was going back the next day. After I was there's like a yeah, bus, he's already coming back. Like Oh, when you when you guys go listen to my conversation with to foe and Shroum, who are both ninety nine, they both like adamantly said if they had the chance to come back this year, which they can as ninety nine, if they were two thousand, they'd be all in. Yeah, and it's like yeah, it's like they love the League, they know the League and the League knows them well. It's a perfect mat it's forts and there are some names of kids that committed this past year that can come back. You know, you just mentioned nest Gek. What if a jake eat? That goes back to the avalanche. Well, get up in US also, so we can't get is our buffaling and just scany. Oh, they are both. They are bull of old, they're both MS of etl. would be like yeah, yeah, imagine them back. BETL YEA for the hills. So's. It's going to be interesting to watch how that affects an impacts our league. The other thing of note that they wanted to bring up, and especially with the EHL, because I am like, I'm really in the time hop obviously, as you guys can now tell, I look at it every...

...single day, and the past three days have just been like a dagger to the heart with like a twist and east direction. This time last year we had just beat Salem state five hundred t one, and that chat memories are popping off like dared say picture of all you guys like yeah, that was and like Almighty God, we're like there's unfortunately, for those fans listening at home, there's just no way we could play a college team this year because all ares you. Yeah, and like the last thing that it's going to the last domino to fall will be university saying, Oh yeah, come on in, you've been you've been playing as rule, traveling all amongst the footprint for how long? Come right into our school, doors open and everything. So we'll get back to that next season, hopefully. But like I look back in that I'm like, Oh my God, this is so depressing because it was just member Salem seats popping from Halloween to yes popping off. Oh God, now it's like you. I was driving on the highway the other day and it's like all Halloween events. saw this in Salem, like it's just a wee see. Yeah, I saw it said Salem on the on one of the side. Yeah, now, that's what I'm saying. I didn't know where on the highway was. Yeah, but it was at Salem and like we don't we're not going to go too far into the details, but there were some stuff that happened last year in the All star week that we almost weren't able to get the Salem staate game on Hockey TV. And what I remember that travesty. When I when I get heated, I get like run, run away. I get like heated, like and I was I was like, I'm shaking a little bit. I not thinking of I was pretty heated before this game and then we go out and win and I don't even know, like I just was so excited I like go down to stair it and I like knocked the door to the locker room open and the whole teams in there. We just start like bouncing up and down. I must lost my whole tile. We were just going crazy because it was just it was it was such a cool moment to actually like to tie Fittsburg state the way that we did the night before and should have won. I cannot wait to remind Tristan mock that he hit the post and overtime. We should have beat we should have beat Fritzburg states that night because we were the better team in the letter half of that game. And then to come back and beat Salm the next day, I was like yes, we did it. Now the following day you'm asked. Boston was a different story. That was their first game out of after losing at home in the NCA tournament the year before, so they kind of took it to us for the first twenty minutes when they were up six to nothing. Meal they are a sea wagon. Oh yes, they are hockey. They are big beer, blow and grass Toula. Actually good time bringing that into I just saw that Pete and his coaching staff are getting welcome back in the middle of November. Yep, beauty, but the Pekins are coming back. The funniest picture of that whole weekend because we tie Fittsburgh beat Salem. Obviously we did not come back after being down six. Nothing against you mass Boston, but there was a picture in the first period of Tim the board, and I'm sure he'll admit to it. Well, sevens got laid out and like he is like going to ask for that. He is like horizontal in the picture and Justin God, bless his soul, are our gapher designer asked the hicklings if they could try and get the pictures to look like we're not getting crushed so hard. They responded. They responded with is what it is. He can't really control the outcome of the hockey game. And I was like this is just a little bit too much, but we're gonna do go alter the images on their computers. Take they got take the guy's feet and put them back on the ground right. Yeah, you got also this picture after the podcast and these we put in the group chat. My tie hobbies do it and I was like you look at the picture and you're like Oh my God, how wow. I can like feel that hit through the sure from college meets juniors. Man. I took it advantage and I counted how many games we had up until this point last year and we're obviously had a higher number, a hundred and twenty six compared to now seventy four in the EHL. And I look at that, and maybe this is the eternal optimist in me, but we've actually finished seventy four game. That's a good night. I thought that's a lot higher than I thought when you just that. I was thinking like s F, like here we go, folks, here we go, like cheers to that, like Whoo, and it's been top don't get me more. Yeah, it's seventeen games and I think in less than s at well, it's it's. It's a lot of games up. It's you you mentioned it. There was one day that you said we had four or five, and it's like yeah, West Week we have four games, like let's go. It's it's we're moving forward still like the step that I'm too that we are taking towards that finish line. It may not be, you know, a step.

It's like this, but we're still getting there and that's the we're still ahead of other leagues, to Ti mean other competitive leagues. Yes, you know, other neighboring partners and the same issues. They had a bad team shut down for weeks of the time, month at a time, and cheese. That's what's happened. Very allor right, serious, ary, sorry, we didn't ask you to join this podcast. My appolicch this is your apologies. Yours is a British broad to. I don't know it, just did it. Okay, like he's now, but but that's the AH shell. Obviously it's kind of similar with the EH LP. I had a hysterical moment today. I went up and I saw the man eclipse face the wall pole. Express had to check it out. My fantasy forward. We will get to that, Zach Simon, and but what I walk into the eclipse office. I had to give Eric Michel a little bit of a joke because the main eclipse at the EHLP level go out and they beat the Rangers in a shootout one nothing and I and since then, since then I've lost for Rangers, nine to two and six and nothing. So I lock it. I go eric, first year in the League. Don't take this wrong way, but you really pissed off the Boston junior rangers and he just started he just started laughing. So thank God he took that the right way. But it it that division we were just kind of talking playoffs to say no, it's really, really far away. But in the EH LP everybody makes it right. And then and each division you got four teams. One faces for two bases. Three winners faceoff. Three teams go to providence or go to our finals, wherever they're going to be able to be held in March. You look at those matchups, those are not, you know, oh, chocolate up to them. Yeah, there's probably a favorite here or there, but like you look at that Central Division, for example, right railers, who are in quote unquote, fourth place, have beat the teams that are in first and second place already, two and two, five hundred record. They have a win against the Rangers and win against the Express. You go down to the South Division and Yeah, we may say the sevens and little fires are the favorites, if you will, to face off you know, and that one. The chiefs and renegades aren't going away. Everybody is four winds. That's it. And you and then you go up top and I know you'll, I know Brittany will remember this series from last year because you made a graphic for it. Vermont and the Wolves was an excellent playoff series last year at the AH L P F, Yes, mavery is. It's a giant Awperty, but at the AHL, the little we're so far away from the playoffs. I get it, don't get me wrong, but the same parody is like really consistent in this league. It's right there. M So it's nice seven, four teams, each of those divisions to it just kind of tightens things up. You get a little bit more of the rivalries and you see teams more often. So I think that's why the parodies there, because they're used to seeing each other more often. Where's with the HL, the North and south, we have a lot more teams and everything's kind of spread out, so they don't see each other as much. Yes, the my favorite line in the week though, from the seven S. Kyle could have maybe use this on his tweet, which I guess we'll get to your tweets at the end of all years, gets at the end of the HLP section. But the seven said to me it's so easy to figure out how to beat our P team. I go, how do you beat your P team? He don't let the line of number forty five, forty two, forty one score. Dude, that has to be aligned with Ivan Borri Sawce yes said, sir, I'm a little lost. See this again. They, the seven s at the AHLP level, said the it's so easy to beat us at this level. Just don't let that line score. It's like, okay, okay. So it was on the line. It's, I think Abowski, is drovings, Rowdy and's rock forest and Michael Loreco, but there was nce. I bring it up because I got this stat chains email and it was like goal one for one hundred, forty two, forty five, go to forty two, forty five, hundred and forty one, goal three, forty five, hundred and forty two. I'm like teas, those numbers you're thinking. I'm like, oh my Goa, my head is spinning. I can't this. Tell me one guy scored them all. That we can kind of go down easier. But it's it's a very unique division. BOORS, there's getting a lot of attention in that division as well. I think he's honestly like a hundred and forty five pounds. Right, Brittany, did we had baby rebund, but I call him baby Ivan. All might baby. How well, baby, baby, leave, Michael Leave, the one...

...that Justin brought up. He can't really leave. It was his baby rebo. You can't really say baby when you're a two thousand. You're turning twenty one years old at some point. But right Iven is literally like an old three like that. Kids and actual fetus. Yes, okay, fetus will go all the way there with the way. Yes, time for our off the rail segment. Well, yeah, I'm censored segment, Jeff, bring on Bill Colet. You mentioned him right. He would be great bloody on censored segments. SCREAM BE BA be. Okay, Billy, can't say any of those words on the podcast. But with that, now that we've covered the EHL and the EHLP, we have to go back to the ehl with Kyle's tweets, because Kyle's went to that one game. We went on the air with Anthony to Paulo and there was a college scout there that rentioned to kyle, and Kyle, if you want to read it out loud so everyone can hear it, the tweet or or do you know it conversation? The quote, the quote, quote. I gotta I gotta find the quote. You can paaraphrase. Are Friendly. Let me start by saying we're watching this game and first period between team Maryland and New Jersey. Very even first five minutes. As I always say, they lived up the expectations. It's all about emotion. WHO's physical? Back and forth, Yada, Yada. Eighty seven runaway that eventually. So I look at the College Scout. I just said, okay, who you looking at? He circles his numbers. He's and say the names out loud, shows me the piece of paper and said what do you what impresses you the most about the s? And you know what's the scoop? Thank he he gave me a rundown and he proceeded to say that then s are his favorite team in the ehl to watch. Hits send, and I love the fact that you hit send because I knew the first person that would respond would be rich that caffriell with a little wave emoji. Look at here, look at us, we're still here. And then they send out today's tweet. I never delete those, Kyle. If anyone ever tells it to delete those, I over rule. Never delete those, because, I mean, I just love job. I love it. I guess I'm just too much talk. Get more quotes, get more quotes of them going out each other, right, because, yeah, Anthony Larusso Alo, as we've referenced numerous times on this podcast. Hello, best friend, what up? I mention and shit mentioned. Step brothers and shit to me, and not so many words. Right, we'll get jeff and Alena take one of those step brothers pictures at a showcaded or something else. My Bes friends, it's like step brothers. All right, sorry, new he mentioned to me. We will remember what happened when the sevens beat us with both teams on the named day and the sevens came out with that postcard. Sweet yes, greetings from Philadelphia. Yeah, I love that. I'm the YEA Queen, very clevery professionally arrogant there. Yes, and and that's my God. Adam and Maddie had nothing to do with that. Literally the organization. This is what I lost. That that was all of Liss a big shout out of Lissa Queen and that girl, all right, one under the bus. Yeah, well, that's it. We just have to expose everyone on this podcast. Cow. This is the unstored off the rail section, brought to you by Britney, but you brought you Britty, brought to you by bus Jim's cheesteakes on South Street. Do you want to approach them, the sponsor this section? Coyle, yeah, I can't. I can tell them them. All they gonna do is give us one cheese steak each per month. That's it. That's it. That's gonna open for too. Okay, they're gonna have to bail those people now will make the trip, but it's that's the stuff I love, because it's what gets you're just getting more eyes on the stuff. Right, like when I do my power rankings, I I know that when I want to, they come out, that someone may say something. So of Ye, but then they yell at me. Who Yelled at you? Did they actually yell at you when you want on the spot, at the word? Yeah, of the week come out, or in starts of the week out, why I stamp the week. Gonna might take that put me a like nothing to do with this. Yeah, this is the I'm so pumped that you did that, thoughnel because, like we said, like, this is what what do you think? Sports Talk Radio is sports. This is what we do, a podcast. So it's creating attention. Yes, a week, and it's creating good attention. It's good to have bickering back and forth. It's good to say I'm the best. No, I'm the best. You want everyone be able. Hi, who are you? Oh, we're old best friends. Oh yeah, everyone goes home with the trophy. Everyone gets a cookie. Yes, two thousand and twenty. We're gonna give up this. We're going to give up metals. That this is grows and finals. Everyone here gets a metal. We all get metals. Guys here, you go, have a metal. Have a metal. No, and it's cool. And, and I don't care what...

Chris says, are not rabbins rankings. That the next level hockey power rankings, and sticking with that and and I don't know, ask us for feedback when you make those yes, and and bub and I do feel bad because maybe maybe now it's time to have you guys pick number five, because every time I do, they're going off. Unless he's one of my turn the cards. I wanted you. I want it, okay, Kyle, yours. I want done all the say I so I'll you. And but with that. I started to bring it up earlier, and now it's time to wrap things up with our favorite section. We're going to go into what the watch for, which of course, includes the e crew fantasy challenge. Before we wrap things up, here's what to watch for this week in the east show. It's I'm for the e group fantasy challenge, brought to you by BERTUCCI's brick. I'Ven Pizza and Pasta. Go home for authentic Italian dishes, catering than grooms. I check out their party pizzas and specials at Bertucci'scom. Are you laughing, Kyle? I haven't got you looking. We're all sat there laughing like Kyle. Kyle, I haven't really ever tripped you like this before in a podcast, but I am so sorry, man, I don't know what happened. I liked your pis, I liked your pics and, for those listening at home, we whatever a team is impacted by by Covid we're allowing us to reset a pick here there. I'm trying to keep these guys. Intune as much as I can with the different scheduling changes so they understand what's going on. So Kyle did have to change his forward pick from Spencer Kit Quinn to a Zeem as a Zamb Geewah, and he's the leading scorer for sea coast. Jared Tyson was a good pick and Nikita PRIMAC is having a great season. He will be at Allstar. I don't know, man, I don't know. Hey, timing is timing is everything, and hockey guides for saying look with with we want you to take a step back. You're the rookie. Take step back, re evaluates and things. So I definitely did that and I think my pics this week or pretty strong. Killed in the first one we went. Now you say he's like as a rookie. You did very three the first week. You had forty three point six, twenty three, fourteen point six, thirty two point and I brought a new names the podcast. No, fank. Yes, that's the one thing I got to tell about is I think up some like guys. It's like Whoa like who? Yes, we and I love that and I love that. And and when the when the graphic comes out and myself, Jeff and Brittany are all hovering around three thousand four thirty two and you're at eight for this past week. I hope that no one says anything. I'll but just kind of slides by. But Fair warning with this league they don't Miss Anything and someone's going to say something to people from other leagues. Listen to this too. By the one other people like, Oh, Huh, you like know to and like there was a week a little scary. There was a week last year who I will not expose the person that said it, but someone said next week we're going to have a celebrity fill in for Brittany and I was like wow, that is is it justy know, I we will talk off air about that one, but it was like it was like you see, it was like Oh, sw no, no, well, we'll get to it all air. So Air OFFENIR celender, and I was like wow, I don't I know, it was a bad week, so you can't just totally replace her on the fantasy challenge. But with that, Kyle, you said you're excited about your picks for this week. Who are your picks this week? Well, first and foremost, I wanted to get to it earlier, guys, and I don't know, I'll be short and sweet, but grizzled hockey. I told him I'd buy some gear. So and when I do, I'll definitely rop it on every podcast. But moving on, Brittany, not wearing a grizzle hockey hey, hey, did to get something. Wait, wait, wait, if you scroll over on the new phone, it gives you like a random picture. Look, there I am and my gristle hockeys watcher. WHAT IN DENVER? Okay, fair enough. Let's give credit work today, where it's your Kyle Stream Cole, that ourselves. We'll get some summer to start between the pipes, and this time around I'm going to go to New England. Wolves, lll Cool J newell. Oh my God, this this gentleman. Not then the cows done every week to love this gentleman. Guys, listen up under in eight shots faced he's letting four goals and he's got one shutout. Good, I Adam a week he's and speaking of cool at the Blue Line, I was told by Anthony to Paulo, you do not pronounce this gentleman's name cool. It's Kul California, Dream and CAL Kouell on defense from the New Jersey Sevens. He do be from Buffalo, not part of the callie young. That's up.

It's that's any to follow. Brought him up last week to me. I hadn't really seen him play too often and after watching him last week on Friday against see Maryland, I'm sold. I'm impressed. He's my defenseman for this week and then moving forward. I now we're talking about the mid Atlantic conference. Who's going to finish in second? Were like, what happened to Connecticut? But we got to realize connect it still has two of the top leading goal scorers in the league. Yes, so, I mean, yeah, they're hitting a bump in the road right now, but when you have guys of those that talent and that nature, it's kind of hard to believe that they won't produce in that Connecticut won't Win Hockey Games. Younger not. So I'm going with Colin Bella and one thing to watch this year with Colin Bella, which could be maybe a conversation at home. I don't know how many goals he has right now, but Andrew Bella, is older brother, had forty last season. He was a help of player. Hmm, it seems like Colin is on the rise right now. My wrong like it seemed like yeah, bona pain, like. Look, we get it. Everyone knows. They listen to the podcast. I'm sure they're sitting tired of hearing about his name, unless you are Connecticut. But Colin Bella, though, I feel like it's like, slowly but surely, it's like, Huh, Bella, Huh, if he has forty one goals this year. Not saying that no pressure, but there is pressure deligate form this week for fantasy. Yeah, if you do well, Bella, I will buy you New England clam chowder and a lost of all. Sorry, we've edited that out. Is that a Bron? Good thing you didn't man that. We don't like the red clear crap up here. But those are Kyles pex out, just like last week. I like those picks, so I feel confitent. Yeah, it happens, and all three of those players are fantastic. They're choosings, for technically we're chosen for a reason, so I like. It's all good. Yep. And and to recap the points for myself, Jeff and and Brittany, Jeff is kind of been mister consistent the last few weeks here at thirty four point for this past week I had thirty four point two as as Justin mention. I give her that nickname just and I love it. I just missed the last and chat. I just missed last place last week. I just missed first place this week. But for Brittany that was the week that she needed thirty two point eight to get right back into the thicket things and your pics are up next. Who Do you got this week? Welcome the hundred point little of Bunapane, though. Yeah, what's Romana follows me on twitter. Thanks, MOM Pie. You just got an unfollowed. Not. The moms love me. The MOM's they stand me. The Mommy's time you go to a game, for he's there. They always a Brittany, how are you? And I'm like what's top MOM squad over Andy and Jeff. They like Neil wise in this working. Figure it out and your nail contrast. Moving on my I have to pick an eighth. I took it sevens hiatus last week, but we're back. No worries. When Maddie be you get trus parents. Listen, hello everybody, hello, family of the Belinsky's, great people. Met the MOM on facetime ones. How are you? Great Liban? Hello. So, Yep, he is my forward. He is back from the Noll. He isn't made a triumphant return. He's ready to get up. Defriendsman Kevin Bite, Big Wolf bye week. Haven't picked anyone on Wolf by Andrews rattled, but now he is not just dad. I will probably start following you on twitter. Now he follow me. Parents, get up, parents. Well, we're even olly. You Lose Bona, paines bona pay his mom after we lost it, and then you can out exploit ever even right. And then we move on to a goalie, another persons whose mother loves me. George Curious, George McMichael in the goal for the as new shout out Kyles, Yep, troops. George's mom, great woman as well. So I'm going like big parent week. I think it's a big parent race for me. Hastank parent week. That you be a thing. Can I have a trivia questions right and sort of Trivia question in my yeah, absolutely, okay, as alliance does have to do with parents? I mean, yeah, it does. That have to do with parents. Know, and I mean we got a text from the VJW. They go oh, we already know the answer. All right, Neil already knows the answer and so do i. So this is Mye for Jeff and Kyle. I mentioned Daniel that we may also lead the league in e and Geea. Can you check the stats? What ryme a grab. I got it. Before we end the podcast. I attribute question, but continue. Okay, okay, that's literally I have get up parrot week. Yes,...

...when you get ga, when you when you give up a lot of NGAS, you're not winning a lot of get out winning a lot of hockey games. Work gap. You don't like the gap, Goas, but the end good gas. Oh Man, I have been told that when I get to my sex from the fantasy I have to acknowledge the fact that my insider sources, Cody Campbell, said to pick Zach Simon. Thank you, Zack Simon, for everything you did for me this last week. Like to how that was gonna go on. I put on your meat right. Seriously, on the first names. That's ups it like how does also, we are looked like spincent, Marie Spinson Vine. His name is Vincent Maurice. When you picked him over, also exact Simon, was neil getting cute and also up a nineteen goals later, here's sex. Five goals, three assists, one power play point, one short handed point, one game winning goal, twenty four fantasy points. Wow, wow, away, how does it? Hey, now, hey, now. So I can't pick him again. The game count doesn't work out this this week. So I'm going to start at forward with Matt Loft, as he's a two thousand on the Connecticut. She's on my radar. Good pick. Who We didn't? We mentioned already. Hadn't play them any games so far this year, but in their last three he has seven points, three goals and four assists. So I feel confident about him. Yes, and on defense, Tyler Drummond. It's kind of a name that you may not know too much, but I've seen the railers a few times. I mentioned them as my sleeper, which means I probably just curse them, but I feel confident. I feel confident Tyler Drummond on the Blue Line this week for the railers. I this samily. I know they kick off their game action this week against the sea coast spartans on Friday, which kind of makes my goalie pick tough because if Drummond does score on Rhet lesselik. I'm taking points where for myself. So let's do this, Drummond. I need you to have ten shots. Hit Him in the chest nine times in this get one passed them at all. Watches out or an assists. I guess it's gotta. It's got a couple power plaint points to yes, but I feel I've seen rhet play a few times. I know he just lost his last game against the Rangers, but like when you're six foot for and then you put skates on like your Churre if you take up the whole net, like how do you kids? And and I actually got to watch some of his game. It passed Monday with Kyle Wally from alberness madness, and he's like he's a bet. He's a big kid and he moves well between the pipes. So I feel confident with those three picks. Last time I picked right. You only got one start. So, Brett Trider, help me out, help me out, give me, give me, give me two if you can. But those are my pics of the week and we'll wrap it up with jeff all right. So, Hi guys. How you doing? Glad that I'm close that gap on the Commissioner Ravin and Brittany. CONGRATS. Your over a hundred points now, kid, look at that, you're back in it all right. So we're going to start off this week with a new name from the hosses. Lucas back say, if, hopefully I'm saying you enough kids. Kids got some lettuce, some real good lettuce, kind of like a mullet thing going on. Oh, one kid right shot Easton Connecticut, not too far from with the hosts, has play six goals, seven assists, this kid. So I've actually done really well with power play points so far. I think I'm leading all of us in power play points. But this kid is a magician on the PK. He's got too short handed goals and too short handed assists, so those are good too, and he's got a game winner two. So we're hoping to move a new name from the hosses into the rotation of fantasy and we're hoping that he does some big things for us. And on the Blue Line, nail, we got reese pooling from the main eclipse. I Know Neil is the man for me, but this week reese pool and hopefully we'll be the man from me. I know you picked him a couple of weeks ago and thinking got you a few points, got three goals forces on the season. So we're hoping for some more good things from reese. And then on the back end, I wanted this young man last week, Adam fost, but neil picked him. Actually worked out better than I picked up made the viewer from the Bjr, but we're going to go with that and foss this week. I know it's a gamble because they're playing the eighty seven's. So I'm all right. My first top five victory. Yes, Justin even said very bull move cotton, and yes, sir, that is that is what I'm going for. Moth the bull move open that maybe the rough riders can knock off the eighty sevens and keep the guarantee going again, because all that's true. See it once too, so play with fire then. So this is we'll see. Adam, good luck, buddy, please. But to recap the recap, the over all standings. I am at an even one hundred and fifty, which just seeing the full number like that, no...

...extra decimals. It's for my OCD. It's just so beautiful. Good for the brand. And then Jeff at one hundred and forty three, Kyle one hundred and twenty, one point six, and Brittany one hundred and two point two. Really that week for Brittany got a right back into things. So we're early on in this season, far away from the fantasy playoffs, if you will too. But I love all our pis this week. I think last week was really just a rarity for you, kyle, so I hope that doesn't happen to you again or any of us. I'm trying to pass on good vibes for all of us right now. Places Hey, and I'm getting and I'm getting a call from Mark Compo right now. This is all this is all too much for me to handle. So Times little for Beijing. He's here, we over hiners, here's still. He's here here. Never never got a chance to go. Never got the chance to go. So but with that mission for all the for all the fans listening at home, keep an eye, of course, on the schedule throughout the week because things are just constantly changing. But, as we reference on this podcast, even if they are changing every day, we take one small step forward towards what is the ultimate end goal for us, and that's to hand off the trophy and providence to a champion, maybe a new champion, maybe the avalanche in the premiere. Maybe a new champion, maybe the wolves, we don't know. But the ultimate end goal is to get to Providence, get to our frozen finals and hand off those two trophies again. So thank you, guys, for tonight and enjoy the games this week. How the House. Thanks Neil, see GIG see you at the rink. Thanks for listening to the show.
