On this week's episode, I bring Ryan Garrow and David Rosalis back on the podcast for the second time and we discuss how to train and prepare with a constantly changing game and practice schedule. We review the previous week in the east show and give an outlook as well on the week ahead, and we get caught up with the e crew fantasy challenge. To kick things off, though, here's the interview with Ryan and David, joined now by Ryan Garrow and David Rosalis. How's it going, guys? But the thanks for having us. I was getting prepared for this podcasts and I was like, you know, let's go back and look and see when I had you two on last as like feels like it wasn't that long ago. It was April thirteen like that is just crazy to think about. And that was the can podcast I had of the offseason. And personally I'm not going to get into the political side of the covid stuff, but at the time the tone of our interview was this isn't going to last that long. It's it's still here. How has it affected you guys? Man, it's been a crazy it's been a crazy few months. Yeah, it's pretty much uprooted. I think for Ryan's probably worse. I'm very fortunate. I've like had a you know, all my work is virtual and online, so that's good in school as well. By Oh Ryan was starting a new job. So curious here his experience. Let's let's start with that. Ryan. You're that the new head and strength coach, shut new head strength coach and conditioning coach at St Michaels College. Obviously you don't want to start in a year like this year, but maybe jumping both feet into the year like this year has made it that much easier. A little bit. I don't know. Yeah, exactly. When I obviously interview had, you know, high expectations of for myself and of me working with all all twenty one teams. And then, you know, with the covid it kind of made it more intimate working with team because I had to work with smaller groups. So it was easier for me to learn names of of the the ladies in the men that I was working with, and it was it was fun. We made the most of it and you know, I was supposed to start in March, but then obviously covid when we talked last in April, and then I was just communicating through, you know, online platforms and pro gramming and just checking in with athletes through social media and through different outlets with text messages and things like that. So, you know, it was just it was cool to get to know people from there and now and finally meeting meeting them in person. We started outside training for the first two phases, each phases two weeks and we're following all the covid guidelines and not going to will be only have only have one one test it's a non athletes or we're you know, we're doing things the right way and we're sanitizing everything and the gym is extra clean and it clean it's it's ever been and athletes are buying in and wearing there. You know, they're wearing matt you have to wear a mask, and it's just the the cringing word of the new normal. I hate that word, but it's it's just what we're dealing with and we're making the most of it right now. So if you feel like you wanted to ease into things and then is it's safe to say that, having everything play out the way that it did, you had to just kind of jump in that much faster because everything going on? Is that fair to say? Yeah, you had, you had, do you know? Yeah, like you said, just take take it and run with it. And just what you were gay we we were giving. I was going to be all twenty one teams right at once. So it's kind of I started with winner sports. Only just phase them in, because I had, like for mend's ice hockey, I have in women's ice hockey, have three different pods and they're out, you know, all they're all doing the similar, similar workout, and that's, you know, six hours in one day just for one team are two Teena yeah, so it felt like, you know, those two weeks felt like four months working with pots, but I think the athletes benefited from it just for more attention, and then I benefit from it just from a relationship standpoint. And then David, a college athlete yourself, not as say Michael's College, but in New York City, like you know, it looks like you're there. You said you're there. Obviously, for some students they didn't get the chance to go back. was that ever a debate in your mind? Would did you always want to go back? Yeah, I mean I want to go back just for my personal personal sanity. I was traveling bad went out to Los Angeles and came back to New York. So I'm not like tied down in New York and we're currently not playing, but it is nice to be back in the city and the cities getting some life...

...back to it. So how safe do you feel in the environment that you're in? You know, New Yorkers are tough human beings. New Yorkers do what they have to do. They've been through a lot. They've been through eleven they've been through covid and everyone wears masks everyone respects social distancing and that's why New York is one of the one of the models for the United States and how to deal with code. And as a former player in strength coach in the League, I want this is I want to get into this podcast with. You know how you would deal with it being if you were still player in the League, how Ryan would deal with him if he was training some of our players. I don't want to focus entirely on the Vermont lumberjacks, but there is no team that has had it more challenging than the Vermont lumberjacks so far this year. I guess said I don't want to get into like who's had cobe CASS this of that, but for Vermont there are restrictions, as I've said on the PODCAST, with the e crew, it's just crazy to process because even if you know they wanted to play, it's a matter of what county the team is coming from or where they're going to and there's not a lot of green zones. So I'm not sure which one of you wants to start with this, but how do you prepare as an athlete at times when you don't even know what we're going to play a next your next game. I'll sorry because I was the more recent athlete here. I've been saying in two thousand and twenty there's one thing that's obsolete and that's making plans. Like making plans in two thousand and twenty just don't go together and that's been really hard as string coaches because we love to let's make our four week block, let's make our twelve week Meso cycle right, and we've had to really throw out the window. And players also really loved have the routines, have their pregame routine like, Oh, I I play Saturday, Sunday, I do my worked out some Monday Tuesday. I've most time in between, and so really for what's going on this season, especially in Vermont, some kids have been able to do more training because they're not playing games. But you also have to be ready to play in case all of the sudden you can go play game. So it's just about being flexible and being ready to play, but also be ready to get some extra training setters in case you have that extra time. And off of that, Ryan I'll try and transition this into like what the schedule has become for them. So they have their first weekend, which is supposed to be against the railers, because the rails were coming from a county that over four hundred cases. Worcester being a pretty popular to county, that number was never going down. So the Vermont comes to New Hampshire, they get just the Ehl game done and then everyone sits around the hotel. We have to cancel the other three games. Get fast forward to the next week. You're supposed to play Walpole at home. Both teams two games eats, but wallpoles county similar to Worcester. The cases are too high. So that series gets shifted to Waterville Valley, which is where this week's games are. And Not that you want to pick who you're playing, but you just jump right back into it with the avalanche in the express and it's like do you want to play an easier team first or, similar to what you're going through, just jump right in and let's play the best teams in the League right from the beginning. Yeah, I mean why not? Like because you want to you want to compete and have somewhat of even if it's, you know, five games, it better be the most competitive five games they ever played. Just from a it's just great from a skill development standpoint, is just to get the practice it and get better and fine tune your skills and then, you know, you get to play. You get to still play games and if you kids at love hockey obviously wanted to pursue the next level, they're going to take any game they can get in any competition they can get. And you know it. Look at looking at the other way around. You know you got to just keep training for what's next, especially like you know, it's heartbreaking for a lot of the seniors just fall, but it's it's one of those things were you you know, so what now what? And you got to think about it like if you're lost your season but you still got a train for life. Maybe you're someone that needs to lose weight and you're looking at training from a different a different aspect. So training is more teaching kids about a lifestyle rather than than an event. Right. You just got to focus on the process of training, whether it's you know, in hockey with the juniors, you're just focusing on getting getting better every day, whether you're playing or not, and then you know, teams and scouts and everybody, they will find you because everybody's in the same boat and they're watching it on they can't a lot of places you can't. You know, we can't recruit yet. So so it's just a lot of watching videos and here can hear say from coaches. So your coach, you know, can vouch for you and knows you work hard and haven't given up because of the virus and just set off. I'm not. I don't want to do this anymore or not. You're given not given effort. You know it goes a long way. And for yourself, have you found that you've had to come out and give extra motivation at times for players? So you have to be, I don't want to say screaming in their face, but have you had to dig in and and help motivate different players throughout this time? Yeah, I've definitely learned in calm, my timp,...

...you're at some things just because I you know, getting them to understand and you know, because I'm very passionate, get fired up. But you know, they kids had the option to stay at home. Yeah, the option to stay at home and not come to school. So here are the rules play by. There the rules play the game. So that's that's where you're mask that's you can't party, you can't, you can't. Have we gotten one of the ten people? You can't go out to rest, you can't do you know, you can't leave the state, you can't. This is this is the rules you knew going into school. So if you're here and you want to get better, you're here. You're not going to complain about them. And I've had kids, you know, going through the motions like there's no point of being here. So, you know, I basically said there's the door. You can leave and not be a part of it or stay and be a part of it and be a part of the solution, not the problem, and and that's what it's kind of change the culture a little bit, but it's it's a long haul because kids usually it is an October break. Kids haven't be gone home yet. They've been here since, you know, August twenty eight, and they might not go home for Thanksgiving just because of you can during the state. You can only go home once. H Yeah, so we're navigating through that and it's going to be a mindset of you know, you we were in a bubble because, you know, the NESTCAC disconceled winner sports. So we're have an opportunity to still have a season and I'm glad that you brought it up because I wanted to ask David. Obviously it was different for you. You were living at home playing for your hometown Vermont Lumberjacks Team that Your Dad owns. But there's been conversation about, you know, the upcoming schedule for our league, a chance that we take off or not take off. Kids don't go home for Thanksgiving, winter break. I think we have to leave that in, but there's conversation about making that shorter. I know that you were living at home already, but you know, if you're a player, that it is from California or from Europe or somewhere else. How do you, how would you tell them the cope with the fact that, yes, you're here and you'd love to get that break and go home, but the better place to be and stay right now is right here. It's a really tough situation and and we all have times when we want to recharge and reset and go back home. I have that. I live in New York. I have that I'm like, damn, some fall voyage and Vermont right now would be really sweet, but it's really it. We it's in the interest of public health and we have to think about the long term thing and and the more we all stick to these guidelines and the more we do, the sooner we're going to be out of it, and that's something that we collectively, is a nation, have not done a great job of understanding that. If we take the short term miss of opportunities, etc. Then the sooner we're going to be out of it. And so that's kind of powered from it. But it really depend on on the situation and terms of league events. Right you go to a game, typically even games up in Vermont because there's so many division two and three schools late like St Michael's College, you expect to see the college coaches there. Now they're doing a lot more viewing online. How do you know? I know for our players they are already accustomed to skating onto the ice, looking up and not seeing a whole lot of fans there to begin with, because we're we're a pay to play junior league. Fans don't pay big money to come to our games. If you skate onto the ice in the building is totally empty. What's what's the first thing that crosses over your mind? We've had some. We've had some address like a seat, nice for sure, and especially for mot in the winter when it's cold. Have some like nine am Saturday games. You just play. You know the NHL's the NHL did at the NBA did it. Like all these profession leagues are in the same exact boat and there were some fun playoff hockey this year. And then, Ryan, back to you and your team. What I find interesting about college hockey right now? Well, I found it interesting about every sport. I watch every sport just to see what they're doing. I'm fascinated by the NFL. We're not going to go down that path. I just think it's amazing how they can just power through anything, which is because it's the NFL and it's there, it's the shield. But for for college hockey, every division, every conference is different. You guys may play not till January, but you know, as time keeps progressing and you know at this moment it's not getting any better. Do you find it that players are coming to you and saying, you know, you know what, Ryan, we're getting closer and closer to when they said we would start in it. We're not going to do you feel like guys have that mentality or they still have a pausitive morale. I try to keep it positive. Will maybe one or two you know individual across across all sports that are kind of having a tough time with it and it's just takes a conversation of focusing on being where your feet are and being in and now and just focused on the present, on the present, and that's that's kind of all you can do. I'm mean, the problem is, you know, the decisions are above us. Like for my hockey, would be a sweet schedule, apecially the same Mike's just thinking about middle bearer. Who Play Middlebury? Nor which U Vm Castleton? Go across the lake play play Canton and and what's the other side class? Thank...

...you quest blast brook. What an awesome schedule that would be, but again that you know, we're not the ones making the decisions. And with a with all the rules, but you know, any as of any ten, we just got to go by the travel restrictions and I'm hoping that we could have somewhat of a competition season and what you just mentioned there's interesting because that would be almost like a hybrid conference, if you will, and a USA shel team just play an NA team this past week it do you just want to play at that point? I mean, what's the message to those guys? I know you're playing, you could, but you could go what? You could get absolutely killed by a team that's higher level than you. But at that point, do you just want to play hockey games? Oh Yeah, you want to just compete. I mean it by see in Vermont like there's there's good hockey. I mean even the D D three schools, all of those kids. Obviously some kids got missed and some kids are, you know they're it's just as good watching. And then you why not to play up a level? Yeah, and hey, Norwood, you and near out dension three level is pretty much a wagon, which is a word I love to use. But one big topic that I wanted to get to with you guys that I mentioned. I didn't want to mention teams. You obviously folks at home can figure out who's played what games and for what reasons. They can speculate on their own, but we've had a few teams that have had positive tests and obviously, with HIPPA and privacy, we don't want to ever come out and say names or this for that but you have teams that have gone through full fourteen day quarantines. You can't get on the ice, you can't leave your apartment or your house. What do you tell them? How do they stay in shape? How do they not just s on the couch and play video games until the fourteen days are up? Yeah, yeah, you mean you could provide this like in the last podcast, kind of just that you're not equipment like a backpack, and give them give them motivation. I think it's going to be better now because they understand when they came back, like how tough it is to get back in you know, hockey, playing shape. It just just from work out sandpoint, because you know, some kids did do the stuff, some kids didn't, but you're then you're in. We're kind of going to be in the fact again when kids go home, not just hockey but but other sports. Were they you know, they're not coming back early there not coming back maybe till February now. So you go home for Thanksgiving in your high home at home at February and I don't know, I don't feel if you're you know, they feel compable going to Jim's that are open with the mask and stuff I'll give them stuff to do, but I know not everybody feels comfortable. I still don't feel comfortable going to a restaurant or in another gym just for my seat, because I'm around I mus say this about Ryb be a safe spotsiles. I'm around kids all day and if I get it, like I just read it to every single team and then you know that's that's just not good. So I'm I take it really seriously, you know, because around my family, if fiance, people that live in my building, it's bigger. It's bigger than anything. So doing, doing everybody's part is important, but they don't staying in shape and and you get you don't need a lot of spakes to go back to your point to get stuff done and real read get off, to get off the video games, like stay stimulated. Take as online. You can take classes online as a real found that you know you'd still do well and get the information that you need. Like there's there would a great time to an opportunity to work on things that you haven't have the time to do. And David a full academics out of things, a former student athlete of the year in the EH shell. How important would you say, are the academics? I know we try and you know, beat it into all the players skulls in the league then to keep doing stuff. But you know now, as a college student yourself, obviously these kids want to be prepared when they get on the ice next but at the same time there's going to be a tough chance that they go to college and can't play hockey and only are focusing on their academics. So how important is it to make sure they're doing stuff right now? Yeah's weak to my experience. Right. So, I like I play for Division One club team, but I live in New York City and it is the perfect academic fit. It's the perfect social fits, a perfect intellectual fit for me and I really chose that ahead of hockey. And I would really encourage kids when you're looking at schools is make sure that the academics are a good fit and imagine your life without hockey on campus. Would you still be happy? And if the answers no, then it doesn't matter how good the hockey fit is. You should should reconsider it. And it sounds like for you you want to play hockey again, of course, but with the with the school that you're at if you were to never play another hockey game. You've seemed to have peace with that. You're okay with that because of the excellence of the university. Yeah, for sure, absolutely. And I guess I'll ask you the same quarantine question, but I want to spin it a little bit differently because we've had a few different teams go into it. Is there any different mentality for a team that's in quarantine that's had just one game played, as opposed to a team that has, say,...

...six or seven games play? Yeah, I think actually it can be a blessing disguise right here. For a team like the romot lumberjacks, who aren't playing a lot of games, they have a really unique opportunity right now to get extra training in. They're skating more than they would be their get every single player is getting more ice time. Coach Mosso called me a couple weeks ago and said, Hey, I'm thinking about adding some extra off ice training for the guys. What do you think, like how do you think we should organize it? And we have a great intern strength coach, their naked Borrio, who's going to be doing a wonderful job for them. So if you're not playing, then that's an opportunity to get extra development in that other teams who are playing every weekend might not get and you might come out a better player six months from now. Well, I appreciate you guys coming back on I am a little bit surprised that when you compare it to April, not much has changed, but I think the message that you both have delivered here on this podcast is is a strong one in that you know, everyone's dealing with this. You know definitely Vermont a program that has dealt with it, I would say a little bit more than anybody else, not in terms of covid cases, but just not knowing what the next day is going to hold. But, like I said, the message that you guys delivered on this podcast I want our players to really take home because, yeah, one week you may not play any games at all and then you could have a week like this week for a team like the Boston junior rangers or or Vermont Lumberjackson, whoever, and all of a sudden now you're playing for games and in five days you always got to be ready to play. And even for the college athletes, you know you don't know when your college season is going to start, but it may start at the at the drop of a dime, and you got to be ready to go. So I really appreciate you guys coming back on maybe we can do this again or sometimes around the winter break, and maybe at that point we can be in a much better position across the country. Awesome. Well, thanks. Thanks for having us, Neil. Yeah, any thanks for having us. Any, anybody. Let's make us the regular thing. This is hive fun of these and if any players want to reach out have questions for like how they should be training right now during the season, it can be definitely tricky. So I feel free to reach out to myself. I'm sure Ryan wouldn't mind either. So I feel free to reach out to either of us. Yes, I'll make sure to put both of your twitter your twitter user names in the Post that we do when we send this out on Thursday. Two guys that that know exactly what they're talking about, that's for sure when it comes to strength and conditioning. Thanks guys. Thanks, Jip. Thanks again to Ryan Garrow and David Res Alice, were coming on the podcast with me this week. A lot of really useful information for all our players with that interview, the key being you just don't know what your skills is going to be. You could wake up one day thinking you have two games on the schedule, all of a sudden you have for and next week you have none. So in a covid season anything is possible, especially especially with the number of scheduling changes that I've had so far. But with that, let's bring in the e crew. It was a quiet week last week, guys, but when you look at this week's schedule it's picking up and then some nice now. Right, it's nice to see some of these teams, Boston Junior Rangers, starting to play some more games and now we'll talk about some of the other teams that some restrictions may be getting lifted. And Yeah, it's a welcome sight. You'll see more than just what does it been like? The same FORDA teams sixteen was the best thing. The best thing was Kyle's text, I think he said, and then like we have four games tomorrow, like I don't usually like fist pump for four games, but we have four games, like let's go. We have four games finally, right, I think. I think too. I think the day we're dropping this Thursday we have five games. Five Games this year. It's like, Whoo, hold me to hold me back, whoo, eve him. See the ladies and Hillmen. Keep Neil seated. But what's what's Jeff starting to get to? We'll get to us. We start to go around the east show here in a minute, but things are starting to kind of pick up a little bit. We'll talk about New Jersey opening up and just like a complete one hundred and eighty out of nowhere state that was not playing hockey games and the New Jersey Seven S, the New Jersey renegade to the PROTEC uniter ducks, could have all changed their first day to Pennsylvania, because they're all playing home games in Pennsylvania. All of a sudden. Now it's like boom, one hundred and eighty, we're playing at home now, which made my Tuesday very eventful, to the point that the hockey TV staff personnel that I contact there for my scheduling change. This was like you sent me eighteen changes on Tuesday and it's like yeah, sorry, dude, I acted and typical day and to right to Ryan mcgrass great point. Back in July I went to Newington for the New England conference. Scheduling meeting and then I went to Aston for the mid Atlantic conference scheduling...

...meeting and they were great meetings. I saw people that I wanted to see, but they really we're kind of worthless. Okay, I'M NOT gonna I'm not going to serve too much has chane since then? But with that, let's start making our way around the show. It's time for this week segment of around the e show round. These shows brought to you by the junior hockey podcast, your home for junior hockey news, knowledge in nonsense. Check them out at tjh podcastcom. And, as we usually do with the around the east show, we work our way down the standings and you know, it's not that I don't want the New Hampshire avalanche to be good, but just like we record this on Wednesday night, once again the avalanche Er in first place, like like it's just routine for Chris this year. And I look at this year's team and I know Brittany and I and I have had this conversation law in the past. Like maybe it's just me. So far on paper I rank other past avalanche teams ahead of this team, but they're five one and one. Or One and Oh, I should say, and they're only loss is the game when True Blodgett stands literally on his head and makes sixty five sats. Like the avalanche are just as good as they've always been and they're right there, you know, already at this point of the season, only October. Fourteen s a Mesh, different day. Here we go. No, but seriously, like I just feel like if you compare this year's roster to the first year Ross, I think the first year teams better. They were like look at you, look at other teams when they have Jake Atkins and wiggle curbr and they have all these true, that team was a wagon, like they just light up the scoreboard. And then this year's team just keeps winning hockey games like and there's close games in there. Why do you could both up the schedule and and see there's a few one goal games, but it's just like, I don't know if it's the experience that Chris has now, but it feels like every time there's a one goal game, the valley game, he finds a way to get that goal when he needs it. It's like the goodness a lot of scoring, like a lot of depth scoring this year. Two nails. You know, if you just take a look at their stats, they have, believe it's like ten or twelve different guys that have put pucks in that Malco, who I big Ryan Malco. Fantasy guys know that. That's every one. Search was what that first just that first week, and you were like fist pumping the entire time because I think those were of the first times because since we started doing fantasy the end of last year was one of the first times I actually got to watch my fantasy player. It's like like we do on NFL Sundays. We watch our fantasy players and like yes, touchdown. That was what was a Malco goal. I fantasy football team. Not to cut you off one on the last play during Tuesday night football, the last you go and I want know the touchdown. The we I can watch it like they're like running the clock. Then they just throw a touchdown past to my guy and I'm like I start like screaming. Vickie's like it's late. Shut up. I'm like no, this is awesome. You'd shut up. They have the worst luck and fantasy football not so much fantasy ehl, but that happens. I am I am all in. But, Jeff, to your point, one of us is picking an individual and fantasy who just scored his first ehl goal against the lumberjacks, I should say. And it does feel like that, though. It feels like every guy has a chance to go out there and score for the avalanche. And Oh, I know who're talking about us, and you know he's it's the owners, the owner's son, Brittle's Hary side. But but it feels like I look at the team and I'm calling the games and I'm like, I've seen past avalanche teams just have more success and stretched through a way apart from other teams, and I've seen bigger goalies. George McMichael is not the biggest goalie in the EHL, but he just keeps winning and and they're right back there in first place. And you know what, like they're not going anywhere. Hey, maybe coach Arella, coach Martinello's usual revolving door of goalies early in the season might be halted now. Maybe McMichael is taking the job over until further notice, until he, you know, balls and dips, until his stats dip a little bit. He has been nails for them, but usually it takes them about in the past, the past few years, is taking them at least like ten in the fifteen games before they actually find out who their goalie is. They end up making a trade for somebody and they thought might be Oliver Quinn. Wasn't so much yet, and another one with McMichael and he's been unbelievable. Goals against, under to say percentage almost round hundred and sixty. And that's where you're going to need. You're going to need that if you're going to go along where straight trade for somebody or trade aid and curry and Allstar goalie or Ian Greif, a goalie that was phenomenal last year to other teams to help them out to so and they just they just bringing so many players. But you know, one of the better logos in the League to and probably one of the...

...better hashtacts. I know Kyle used it in keeping up with Kyle. Kyle. Where does roll, ABS roll stand with you? Well, I think you know we're talking about death scoring. I think that's a fantastic point by all three of you. But if you look at the leaderboard and none of the ABS are in the top ten, Nope, I bet Chris of Mario's. That's fine, they don't care. Oh Yeah, they definitely, which is fine. I don't even know if they ranking the top fifteen. That's a fantastic sign, especially when five at a six games. So you know what's spread the wealth around, which, which is cool and curious. George McMichael, what he's he at? For victories, dude, his mom was over laugh. Carris Michael, for victories. I'm from what I understand. You guys have a better familiarity, just from years past. He was supposed to be the guy. Wasn't supposed supposed to be the guy. Either way, it's get the job done. Roll ABS, Roll what are pretty still? And still there's a couple other teams, seacoast for one, and one New England for one. To know, and let's not forget roll sevens. We're talking about the New England conference. All right, sorry, I'll get there. All right, when we get there, I'll have my moment. Oh my God, there's only their listen, there's only want. There's only one team who's undefeated. Okay, so I keep going, Oh my God, we just skid out ten teams. Sorry, ten time. I actually I kind of wanted to acknowledge the mean eclipse. Two wins, yea last week after own for it's I mean there's still teams in this league that don't have a win. It looks shaky there for me, but when I touch base with their head coach, he said, you don't, Kylo really hasn't been that rough. Like these kids are so confident, they're still proactive, they're still positive, and it was just like Mares pulling before you, guys, came on. I got he's a great kid. Great three goals through his sister ready. What kind, though, is how Brittany got the wolves to use Hashtag Wolf bight. Kyle needs to get the eclipse to use the Moon Emoji that you keep using. That just if fits so well. I'm social medium, like there's the eclipse, there's the Moon Emoji. It fits so well. Get the eclipse to you that. Yes, that's your homework, Kyle. You can do that. That's my world. That's my emojie homework. Yes, hockey, that's an emotion worlds Eh, my hockey homework. The the only other point I wanted to make about macmichael is. I gotta look this up to make sure, but I think he's the only goaltender in the league that actually shoots with the opposite hand. Soy, he catches with the right here. Yeah, so I think there's another one. You all right, I don't know. It's very it's rare, but I bet you there's another one. I compared to the left hand of picture and baseball right. More comedies to the right and a picture than the lefthanded picture, which just happens to be the hand that he's holding the stick with. But I'll look it up to make sure. Maybe he's the only one that's starting in the leak. That's how I'll backtrack my statement, but maybe will. We'll look into that for next week's podcast. But, as Kyle mentioned, see goes right behind the ATHLEANCHEA for one and one. They were in first place last week. They did lose. The first win for the main eclips came against the sea. Coach spartans. Nika PRIMAC was absolutely phenomenal in that game, only winning one goal in making forty eight saves. That's how you win your first game in franchise history. The wolves right there for one to know. I find it funny that the three teams and for a second and third place are all from New Hampshire will watch to see how long that that shrend continues. Vermont, I know, loses a tough game today. But when Chris Sorella sends me multiple text throughout the game about how good David would us, he is first off, Chris. He was in the League, Christian in the League. Last year he was Eli. Let's just such a mature thing for Chris Rouma acknowledging others. Now I will are on his own team. I will just we need Vermont to get to the frozen finals so I can announce him on the PA and S. Yeah, I'm dying to say we got Schneider. What's so funny about Chris Making those texts? I want to be like Chris. A few years ago you asked me who Brendan Brawi was and my response to you was he's the only guy that's ever beats you in Providence. Like how do you got to recognize who these other goalies are? But then today he got back with this text and not like thank you, Chris, the fort the forty two, forty three year old coaches growing up. Could I say that? But but an excellent to one hockey game. Obviously Vermont's had a kind of a weird schedule. We're not going to get to mutch into the restrictions that they have because of all the states. It's probably a strip as anyone and Jimmy said to me with everything changing, and if you look you can easily tell where Vermont schedules that so many games have been canceled. He's like, do I want to play the avalanche...

...now? No? If I win, yes, if I don't, wait, I don't know. But those are two teams that are going to as Jeff said, they're going to be right there. That was the matchup. Obviously that should have happened in the second round last year. If I could ask to have that match up again this year, I'd take it in a heartbeat because those two teams are going to be there right to the very end and you'll Pej areing back and forth forever. Like I just remembered later, I feel like the Vermont abs rivalry was like the strongest it's been, but it was intense. It was in intense. Remember that one game where I was calling it at the I stem and the cameras up here. It's above my head right so I always stand on that last row, like you and I did, Jeff, and all the seats in front of the Place of Oh my gosh, you were like you had your own like cage. They wouldn't sit down. So Chris took like I don't even know what you call them, you know, like when these things have like divide lines, like you're standing in line at the security and they like put one this way and it comes back this way. It's like it's like a black pole and there's a strip that come between. So Chris made me a triangle, like a literal cage. You'll read a try like I'm like standing in the middle, like I can't even see the corner. So I'll just, we'll just, we'll just guess and see what happens down in the corner. But those are as Brittany said it. I think it's also a respectful rivalry because of course JIM also played for Chris Sorella. Like it's just it's just crazy that they could us. It's crazy to think about what that is. Then you work your way down the standings and Jeff just mentioned them. I said it on the broadcast today. No idea how the Rangers are going to come back after having not played since I'tember eighteen. Let's just go throw uying goals out there right. Holy Hell, what when I looked at the box where I hadn't checked it like all game, and then I go to it and it's like six to something, I was like hello, rich Rustin, kind of like the tongans were last one against Buffalo. They didn't played or practice in weeks and they were just like we're good. I said it on the broadcast. Oh did you the ice? I swear I did not. You, though, I said on the broadcast. I was like you come into this game. Will plays played four games. You've played one, you would think, lest rust, all of a sudden, four goals like that in the first period and then all pull started to fight back. They got to find the three and then full more unanswer goals from there. The moment of the game, though, for me, not not why it happened. Jackson Lego through a bad hit that got called for a checking from behind, and a game is conduct. I'm sure he'll admit to it. Parker James comes right out of nowhere and challenges it, challenges him to a fight. We don't and we don't endorse that. Oh Fun, but it's fun. It was a great fight and I really all looks am I right and Legros. Mom is right there taking pictures and she went. Wouldn't beauty if she just stops? And she's like like because they are just going at it, and I'm like, Jeez, this is this is a lot. Mom is like right here and the sun is just it was like rock and sop of it. Look they weren't dropping, they just kept going and then the sun comes right back up, black guy and everything. I'm like, Oh my oh, that whose mouth was gushing blood. It was it was not pretty and I'll pople listen if you go listen to my broadcast or if you go watch it. I just like stopped talking. I forgot that I was on the air and then and all the Wallpool players went down below in that like lower bowl there in the I stem. So I actually get off the air to hang over the edge of them. They can't be down there, so you can see me on the camera. It was a wild time. It was like kids. It was a wild time. But Hey, the rangers have another game the day they we're dropping this podcast against the warriors and a game against the main eclipse there's Brits Picture. That is all there. It is. We'll see. Yeah, so it's but a lot of blood to the point that we're making. Last week, yeah, the avalancheer won ver monts right there at for but then you look at the teams that are closer towards the bottom, a wall pole, who, I know it says Oh, four and one, but they're better than that and they've lost a Vermont twice. The avalanche, the Rangers and Sea coast like. They haven't had. I don't want to say there's any easy game in our league, but like cut someone a break like that. Schedules like Gauntlet and they played Vermont the day this podcast drops. Yeah, I got to agree with you. I think we can. We're all NFL fans here right, Brittany and I fell fan. He's much saints Fan. So I say blanket right here. Fortunately enough, in hockey it's different than the NFL. Or in the NFL you have sixteen games. You start own five, you're in that hole. It's tough to dig out that whole. We're wrong. No, you're definitely so. The marathon and a spree. We all have those teams make we want to pick that are going to make the playoffs, but the schedule is just tough and...

...they go own five and then they probably go seven and two down the stretch, but you're still sub five hundred. Yeah, I still have confidence in Walpole, just like I mentioned last week about Connecticut, just a little concerned. Nine goals for, twenty four against and they've had some an issue for why? This why the schedule is tough. Wall Paul, I'm challenging you guys. Schedules tough. I get it. Nine goals for. They weren't a big scoring team last not in hand like root. If you're not a night scoring better have a heck of a defense. Twenty four goals against. That's what they were last line. They're strong defense and strong and that they didn't have. They had the Falcon, as we used to. They did a Falcon. Is this like a Gandalf Falcono told by Falconstead. Amazing, a Falcon Tattoo on his chest. But the kid, but we have what will do? I'm going golf with with cody on Friday. What is the NU kid? What a house shocker. You guys have a plated so loved. Actually this is like a this is a very long break for us. I had to explain that to Vicky. I was like, this is like a hiat you. Okay, she's like, did you break up with cody? I thought we were married, as I well, we're going out a weird path right now. Okay, definitely, but anyway, Mary, with the Child You're marry? Yes, with it, with a dog child. anyways. I what is the message from the e crew to the Wallpole Express on Friday? Who the they do play Ron in the net people back? Can we get Falcon back in for him from sin to see over twenty is a I'll let you guys go first. I have a message, but oh well, they're friend ladies. First Message. Yeah, box in the PO FELLAS. I've been there. I've been on underachieving teams where its own for and it's tough. It's tough to walk into the locker room or maybe you're getting dressed outside. God knows. Worry. You know what happens these gays. Good point, because it's true and it's not easy. But the first five minutes or all about emotion. Doesn't matter what happens in the past. You can't look too much forward. The first five minutes of that game or all about emotion. That's where you establish your real estate. You hit those boys early on. You got hit everyone, get hit the hit. Do whatever you do, whatever you need to do. It's all about emotion. I know you guys are laughing at me, but all true. When you're a Ted talk, know that you fight to get a victory. You got to put a guy who's scratched last two game, the last two games, in the lineup block a shot like you got the tugs, you know. Like you said, that's what in the NHL. You always go back to the pros, right, that's what the pros do. Sometimes you have no rough street, all of a sudden you see on that third or fourth line that gritty, grinding type guy comes in that can lay a hit, start a fight, at least be a pest. And I know, I think that's I think that's great. I think they just have to and sometimes you just have to go back to basics. To get pucks to the neck. It bodies in front of the goaltenders, create some traffic. Do the not so one native, the worst coach ever had in hockey, once told me good things happen when you go to the net. Yeah, thank you. Coach. Absolutely. But but to coyle's point, that fight happened today and for like a five minute period that ice was like this pointing in the Rangers Net, like Wallpole was like like the building was on their side. They were like screaming for everything that they did. Terrain through a huge hit check, and I was like this is wild like this. They're gonna come back and win this scheme. Then the ranchers scorers just did what they did and it all ended. But a little finals feel to it. On you a little bit, a little bit. We'll shift down to the old Mel Druki, go to the sister. So, yes, he looked good. Stars name Rose, like he looks good, but let the alphabet pretty already beat us to this earlier. But we'll shift down of the mid Atlantic conference and you can Ali, said, you can save you said again. Yeah, for all seven's, Baby. Yeah, up, Bell more. That's like a kind of an inside joke, but just get up, Elmar Yeah, yeah, Belmar is on the beach, I believe down there correct, Almar is, long, did you very good. By Red Bank. You, Karl more is. It's fine, right, yeah, yeah, yeah, my location here. So so fired up for this six in all, it's and like you look up, and I've had this conversation with their coaching staff so I can talk about it here. You look up a Dante Teremani attend to board and they've played okay, but they haven't touched how good they can be yet. Heck, and that's like scary. I feel like like Nick Swain last year. Low Key was low key. Now did the sleep though? Right, Oh yes, now second and scoring kids gone off. Might be my fanny pick. I I no idea. It is what it is. We getting direct, direct line from my stars of the week post. Absolutely after joining the eighty seven and mid December this past year, Swayne Tallied...

Sixteen points in twenty five games. Sixteen and twenty five. So you know what he has? Do you know what he has right now? I think he has many as seven and seven. I'm pretty sure he has a fourteen points in six games. He's rolling sex WAIN. He's all, Oh my God, I love so he has to get you can't move your stat one, but the rest of you us to get you two points. Yes, to get two points in the next nineteen games to match what he didn't twenty five games last year. That's crazy. I'll take the over. I'm sure coach Holy, coach holy and coach Kardon the done some work with them and going quickly back to the rangers from earlier, nowhere in the mid Atlantic, but I'm assuming that's what they did too. Some of these teams are playing, they're going to scrimmage each other, they're going to play against each other and try to work on things and I'm sure he was one of the players that coach Wuli and coach Karen looked at and said, hey, you know, this kid's got some talent. We can get a little more out of him if we work on things in the offseason, and especially in this kind of offseason. For him to excel the way he did. Probably didn't have much ice time and probably just hit the weight room a lot if he could, but then also weight rooms were closed and I don't know that's that's very that. I feel like he deserves like an extra bit of respect for improving his game in a year like it's been. Well, it's great, Jeff. When you go back and listen to the interview with Ryan Garaw, this strength coach from same Michael's College, and David Rose Alice, also a farmer, street coach and play in the League. He said the best piece of equipment at home now you could turn into a wait, HM, is a backpack. You just fill it up with stuff, it little stuff and carrying our things. Yeah, I was like, well, okay, back problems. Jeez. Well, depending on what you're putting their bolleyball books. Isn't that why we all have like SCIATICA, for my gr backpacks. We have to have a good posture, though. Call you gotta get this, Hey, good, good postures. So you gotta straight back and always straight back with the backpack. Hey, they guy is the guy, obviously as a specialist in this kyle. So I'm taking his word for it. We're gonna have a backpack strapped on my back and then up front at some point we'll put on the side and just keep doing squats and whatever and get stronger that way. That's my good good do pushups to get his squats with the lot. That's a good point. That's home as you have to do, I mean that's what you had a lot of people had to do, is go back to the basics, to body weight exercise. This year. I don't know if that was part of Nick's Regiment. Appreciate it. Yeah, ever, rode tomorrow my glass, tomorrow you. It was really also seven's just added somebody else back. I don't know that. I'M A lot. Oh, yeah, they did my lapsome last year. Yes, he's CIDER. You can send a much. I don't. I don't care. I'm going to say it. You come out my throat. Can I will? Can I tell you how I want you to say it? Oh and side sources have told Brittany Hart that there is a potential that the sevens add back who to their lineup? Good old Maddie be Matthvlinsky. Hey, hi, how you doing? Talented score to add to a team that is already still figuring itself out. But we're six and no, we're plus seventeen. Their goals, four goals against. Looks Great. Can we see this kid's birth certificate? No, no, he beginning, okay, began. He began the year and the NA last season with the sins. He had thirty five points in thirty eight games. So No dtil Monte issues. There were good. He was my boy. I was so I was his when they when he was making that run, I was like this kids are glory days at the Ladys Al Lor. Yes, this gets going. A hundred and twenty miles miles per hour from thirty was like nineteen years old throughout. Thirteen year olds like but the six all, oh, sevens at a thirty five point guy, that's like you kidding wagon, here we go, fires me up. Nice to be six hundred and Oh and try to figure you're still figuring stuff out. You're just scoring all this cool goals for every goal you give up. So we'll all get off of our eighty seven soapboxes for a second. Sorry, let's go to the rest of the mid Atlantic. There's other teams. There's so much that they put that they actually popped. He did about Tea Mariland. Well, hold on, let's with that. Hope with that. The same question this last week, guys, who was the second best team in the landing conference? IDK, definitely not a little flyers. Huh? They sunk? Oh my God, let it be no, I did not say that. Flyers. I don't know. Seven three times this year, Jeffrey. Still, what have you done for me? What if five? I don't know. We can go with I haven't spilled the seen them yet. We're doing a little bit. How good the eighty sevens are a little flyers have gone down hill. They played the eighty seven's, this deep team, three times. The eighty serves still trying to figure it out.

They're not. Dude, you're on the top of a loo's hateless, and I can tell you that free of charge. So you know how I you know, I type in the description where different things happened in the podcast. I've type in the minutes. I type in the minute that the interview starts when we got no I've never looked at the youth. At whatever time this ends up being, I'm going to put in that time and say that the east show podcast went off the rails. I can thank you for that moment. It's a pretty s Alos hateless already does that with that comment. You're at the top of the APP. Maybe second person on the will give him until Friday morning, when alo typically leaves. Listen to this around thirty am. I'll get a text tell Jefferson he's out now. Little of this circle, out of this circle, right, right, hey, so it's still going. Wait, I'm going team Maryland, second team marror. I know, hypothetically speaking, they are third, but I can't get over the houses either. Rough riders, gold timing. It just it needs SOMEHOLP style. Not Sorry, Kyle's point. He made that point with the Walpole express right. Look at those two teams. Would you rather have a plus six goals of a round shoal or minus sex? That's a dumb question, I know, right, but you know true, I can put those US forwards are gross. You won't be able to survive nine six on hockey lingo. Grossesky. Like I said last week, I not that I think I'm special or bard or anything like that, but Connecticut. Four wins in the last five games after no pun intended. That rough start. Is that? I think we were all rough star, rough ride. Yeah, we were all skeptically. We were all skeptical about Connecticut. You know, like after it was like, Oh wow, will I connecticut? You Hat. You guys had a great year last year. Now it's like you guys are Oh, three and one, four wins in the last five games, technically in second place right now. I get it. They've played like twenty games. Rest of thee gets. Wait five, Bro, but I let's give credit. Words due it all, and Beller entirely pain. Thank you. Yeah, you should just like they're there to name. Should be like thanks. The rest of the teams sank. Thank you, thanks, guys. So I just think to to their start and you know, it almost seems like they're in a little bit of a transition and they responded. So I give credit to Connecticut. And how could I not give credit to there we go, we're getting more off the rails. Here we go, more off the roads. Wait, not one as as Terry Watt tries to call me the head coach of the project. You can't make any sense that. He can't make this up, guys, you can't make this up in her whistle. The other point I wanted to make up make for the rough ries before we moved to protect junior ducks. We haven't announcement to make with that. We sometimes call the rough riders the hosses and Nick Fan. They now have two nicknames and a phone conversation I had with the Hicklings, who were on last week's podcast and are coming to shoot games, Margaret Hickering Hickling kept referring to the road runners. I'm like, who are you talking abouts? Well, you don't have a road runners in the league. The Connecticut road runners. I'm soil. She thinking about the Phoenix Road runners, the I'm like the rough riders, like there's no a in there. There's there's such, there's an a and road runner. She's like, I'm calling them the road runners. I was like, okay, road runners, it is. So road runners, houses, rough riders. But, Kyle, last week you defended yourself by saying that while Jeff is a wolves fan, rangers and Britta's eight seven s fan. Like what, wait till we get to our fantasy team. I am enjoyed my I drop the ABS. I drop them right off my list. You later absolutely picks by Brittany this week, and I am a closet wizards fan. You are now the new communications manager for the protet junior dogs and they're broadcaster and you have the duck whistle. You're all in pause, a quack you can't deny now. CONGRATS. called. That's a cool that's an awesome gonna call the Games. That's exciting. It's first the first two games. Oh yes, damn it, everyone on this podcast calls games. Hey, Hey, I will say it right now. Neil said, I get to call the game ABS verse Vermont. Get up ice Dan arena. Are you doing color birthday? Obviously the color Jesus Christ. Would you? Could you imagine this is going to be? Bring if flip, if privison play by playing so and so to so and so. He sucks. What a pot. Oh, they put it in the corner. He gets absolutely buggled. Oh my course he dig's annoying. If you see gonna get up. Oh wait, I would so be like, blah, blah, he's annoying. Breath the pucks of the net. The lines changed, it's the periods over. You're what? I'm still going on almost its own, seeing Jesus being annoying. Hockey TV calls me up. Hey, neil, this is someone's from hockey TV. We are being forced to take the game off...

...the air. So if hey good, but I'm excited for you, Kyle, to call the frost to home games for PROTECH. I know for you, I'm sure the distance that the drive was gonna be has cut down significantly because these two games on Thursday and Friday we're supposed to be in Hatfield in Pennsylvania and they're at the pond there. No, they're in New Jersey, like they're at the paw the ponds, the PAT plural, more than one pond play. You're from New Jersey. This came out of nowhere, right, like the they no one want to even knew about this. And what I heard, the rumor is is that the say it's a document was on Murphy, Governor Murphy. Is that WHO it is? Yes, okay, seas, I think it was on his desk. Is what the rumor is. And he's just like all of a sudden, was like, I'll sign that now. That's that's the room. Are Right, but you live. You live in that state, Kyle. Like this came out of nowhere, right. I mean a week ago we were sure about what was going to happen. Two weeks ago Sinding, it was like we were lucky to have indoor dining and it's gonna how the heck it's going to get colder in New Jersey. And you know, I may or may not have been in touch with certain sports teams, not just hockey, football, etc. Over the last two weeks, about whether or not they're going to have a season, and it didn't sound good. But all of a sudden here we are. We're playing hockey New Jersey at the ponds pot exact Fars. Forty minutes. It's not perfect. That's what I imagine going in an happen. It's an easy forty minute drive, though. That makes sense. Another hour past that to Hatfield. Forty five minutes. Had A field. Yeah, it's probout our twenty. Much socially, I'm excited for your first Games as a broadcaster, the pink I doknooks. I'm excited to tune in and your first goal call tomorrow, which probably will be Pretty Brett Patricia, but we'll see. Let me get there. But working on the rest of the list. Kind of similar to the to some of the team's up North Kadak, and she's only played three games so far. The little flyers. Maybe what we'll do, because they've both had tough schedules, will have some sort of comparison between the little the flyers in the Walpole Express because two teams that are good, that are contenders, but are who would you rather face? The avalanche, the lumberjacks tomorrow three times for Walpole and the Rangers are face the eighty seven three times? It's there's no easier schedule really. Yeah, they're parential playoff teams. If you look at both of their track records. They have both been in the playoffs many of years. They're not used to being in the bottom. This is different area for both of them. I was saying today to somebody, like talking about the six hundred and then I was remember, though, one thousand eight hundred and nineteen little flyers team. You, but I know the team that when I lost my games while season right ill like girls. So that was the comparison as making. I was like, Oh, I'm yeah, team Trivia maybe. Yeah, it was the junior flyers when they went against no, I'm little fires that are talking about. If I say Trivia, I have to ask the question. But you always talk about that one little flyers team with Giacobo's kid. I want to know who the three losses were against that year. Avalanche, avalanche for deaf wine. I wait, RABS Vermont? NOPE, I don't see other. Do the other two with the same team? Bur? Nope, no, no, apple, Coret, no, no, your Carol. Oh, now we're off the rails. Now we're off the round. No, wait, W I'M gonna I'M gonna guess. I can't remember to save my life, but I'm just going to make a random. Guess it, Whizzi's, you're in the wrong conference. All right, the hosses. Hosses us. Only team you haven't named, Dude. The junior flyers. No, all, I have no idea. The Sevens beat them twice the first the seven in the EHL. Two of the three losses. That the forty three and oh little fire. Sorry, forty, forty three and oh little fires had that year. We're against the serves. Wow, don't talk. And now we shift to the P and yes, and just like in the ehl, avalanche p six hundred and no, first place plus seventeen go differential next. It's kind of crazy. It's like their second year in the peak. Next closest team is at five points, that the Rangers haven't had to play as many game or gotten to play as many games so far. And that five to four overtime victory for the avalanche over the Rangers on Columbus Day, where I had a photographer text me and say I thought you sent me to an EHL P game. I did. That's an H L Pagan. This is as fast...

...as an EHL game. That was what he said. After that I was like, that's great time. Seen both teams like bjrs P team. I have a score keep one of their games. Ill there, like I know they lost, like Ryan Bailey, Johnny Alphabet, like some others, and there's still matters, but you can't but it's like you couldn't. He can't tell. They've reloaded. They've reloaded facts and and it's almost the key thing that we have to watch for in the EHLP. We are so far away from playoffs, I know, but the current set up pulls one team from each division into Providence, right, you know. So you look at the standings and you have a favorite in the first two divisions right now I think it's Sarahs. They've fair to say, safe to say, also New Hampshire Avalanche. North Division. Okay, Boston Junior Rangers, Central Division, safe to say right now, South Division. Kyle mentioned it in keeping up with Kyle. When the New Jersey Eighty seven and the little fires get together, it is always a good match up. Oh My, it was just so much. Yes, it's always a good matchup and I think they've faced twice so far this year or three times, and the little tires just like like something, always like it's always something, always nice one week. Yes, little fires won the first one five for in over time, and then I think it was a six three win city seven and then six for for the little fires and the wors of one. When you look at the schedules six hundred times, you just start to memorize this stuff in my head is just Bush at this point. But but I talked about the two favorites in the other divisions, and I don't want to discredit the renegades, who are having one of their best starts in their history in this league, the chiefs, who were after a three, two and old start. Shout out to Jeff's broad cast partner from the Whitermin with his forty one save shut out the other day. Oh done, Alex and and they're contenders, right. But if you were to tell me that there was a playoff series that happened between the eighty sevens and the little fires for the p image, for the chance to make it to Providence, yeah, of course I put money on that that being the matchup. Who Wins that matchup? I have no idea. There are telling you question. That's a tough there's a ton of kids in that team. Pretty just mentioned one name. They're like thousand three hundred and for your birth year. So I'm like this is this, dude, I'Vean bors of this and all three and he's nine, sixteen, seventeen year old kids. Yeah, yeah, Ivans and o three could got play starved the week last week. A hundred little he's just like a little he's a little Russian. He's little Ivan Hunt, sixty pounds, soaking wet, and it's like, dude, kid is no, I probably any more than Ivan born. saw like that, kidd both the see do see lift the burbills like Bible Diet suit. Cool my God, kid get, isn't that jacked up? That's all right, he's only anout three years. So with that, though, we cover on the east show. I mentioned there's a lot of games coming up in the league this week, but now we're going to transition. We always seem to hint at it throughout the podcast, so now we'll get yes, now we'll get to the what to watch for, which of course includes the e crew fantasy challenge. Before we wrap things up, here's what to watch for this week in the east own and it is time for the ecrew fantasy challenge, brought to you by Bertucci's brick even pizza and pasta, your home for authentic Italian dishes, catering and group dining. Check out their party pizzas and specials appertugeescom before we get started, we will recognize these stat change for Kyle. Kyle, when you have a shootout that is a nothing, nothing game, the goal against will not count against the goalie. Sure it's. It's not a shutout, though, sure it is. It's not a it's on a win either, Eric, but colts of courses, who were faint, referring to Erik Clay, vocal t yes, so we're giving you the one point back. I am truthful when I say this. We have never had a nothing, nothing, shut out where one of the goalie's was picked in the fantasy challenge. So we have not own YETTA. We have not known how to address that. So to rules commissioner, Justin sque Terry. We gotta come with a title for him. He made every designers ordinaire's rules Wadator Fan. He made a ruling that the goal against should not count against Kyle because he's not getting the win anyway. So there's that point back. But with that, Kyle, you didn't have this strongest week this past week. Yeah, so that means you get to pick first this week. Just to recap, you had clindennon, Stewart, Jake Frankenfield and Peyton Duran all combined to get to fourteen point six points. So you pick first this week at seventy nine point two total points. Who are your picks? Well, I mean, let's give credit to Frankenfield. I give him like the Whiz with shout out and he goes out there, he scores a pretty nice cool yeah, and come on, and the little flare. It wasn't my top plays of the week. That's all. Willams hell, a call.

I love that man. All three pretty cool Tom's, I understand. I feel like knowledge. I finished in last place this week for fantasy. So, you know, no fence to any of the players. This is a business and I've got a go go back to the drawing for Sir kind will step. It is a business, all right, at Fork Sada from from the Sodas Suda. Sorry, Kay, don't mess up. I've called him kind apologize. Kid, having a great year right, having a great deal. He's builty. Actually was the same supposed to the other day. He's just a point in every game so far. Yeat the minimum. He's he's a point per game. So I mean, if I'm going to pick first, I'm definitely going to take advantage of that. anyways, on defense, I'm gonna go with Rit squad. Robert Deniro Martinello. Yeah, Oh, Robbie, are US boy? Yes, Marios Martinello, who just scored his first hl goal and rob like crowd. Honestly, I'll say this out loud. If he's not number one, he's number two. He's one of the top defense from on the album. He's seventeen. got a good feeling about it. Yeah, he's young like yeah, and that they lost. He didn't play. Coincidence? I don't know her. When we met him after the game that we called together new and in his father, coach Sorella's office. I like his demeanor. He's a very like it seems, very mature age. He's keep this and keep this in mind, Jeff. He's a sturdy defense we had men's league at the ice down'm sorry, cut off your pick, skyle. This is a good story, right. We had you have nothing to apologize about. We had men that. We had a man's league game at the ice. Then over the summer we played Tuesday nights. It's a grand old time. I'll tell you. I am on the I'm on Mario's team with his brother, Michael and Roberts and I did get yealled at once by Mario not to get back and actually play some defense. I said, I said, the League does not do that, Mario. But how seriously Mario takes pick up hockey? Being his son, I'm sure Robert Goes Home and hears everything that he did wrong. Today, in a day they scored a goal. So he's a tough kid. Like you said, calm, no, knows that it's a long year. Maybe what he's done so far has been good, but he hasn't earned anything yet in this league. So I do love that defensive pick. Kyle, wait, remember when Mario snapped his stick at in summer anyway, for I've never seen the man so mad in my life. I have, maybe a few times, but these are the boards, these are the boards, and I had my head down like this. I was like, if I look up, I'm gonna start laughing and that and the next stick is going over my head. So I could not look up, dude. It was I was in the score box was a sterical all right, continueing goalie. Who you got gonna stick with the ABS? I'm gonna go curious. George McMichael. They've got three games on their plate. I'm gonna imagine that he's going to plan too. So it's it's a numbers game here for me. This week confirmation he's playing against the seahawks. There you go, excellent, George. MICMICHAEL's mom, great woman. I love that lady. Shout Out June, like Michael's mother. I love her. She's continuing on Brit's picks. Britspitch are. No, sorry, I just love her. where. You're trending in the right direction with not picking last pretty so that's right. Right, guys, I haven't picked last so last year and crazy. Last year I had my all avalanche team. This year, you people gainst it all. Sevens. Here we go. All right. Well, Kasuda was taken, so I couldn't take him, but you know what Nick's way and as I referred to Roulier, powerhouse, second to K is Uda. Not Worried on defense. Last week I picked Georgie. This week we're going calcool, play it in a League we shall not name. Last year but curious. He's ready. He's transition to the sevens. Were in the show around a good time. Next I was a little back and forth. I was like which goalie do I go if and I was like, you know what, we are gonna go with math sales, and with that I say belmarrover everyone, and we can now move on. So do you have inside information? Britz, he's starting over Kopeck. I know he's playing on the day of this drops. I'll tell you that. All right. Well, I at least know he's getting one game and you know, if that's good for me whatever. And when it comes to Brittany's goalies, she well reverse the curse this week. Is We're going to say, dude, no, I'm reversing the curse, like I am. I'm confident in seventh tomorrow. Already know I'm you know, I'm going to guess I'm getting three power play points tomorrow. What time is that face off? Already going to look forward to that. Yeah, yeah, what time is that? I say it's a thirty. So Nice.

Get all for the second week in a row, I am picking third, which I think is an okay spot. I'm okay with that. Yeah, I'm started out at forward. Connor Ball quietly one of the top forwards in the EHL in my opinion. I don't think he gets as much recognition for, you know, playing down south for Maryland, who a team that we haven't got a chance to see as much or talk about that much yet. But in four games so far, four goals and an assist and a game winner. And this week, I have to just confirm this to make sure, yes, they are playing four games, Thursday and Friday against the protest junior ducks, Sunday and Monday against the little fires. So the mentality that the more games to play, the more chances you get. Connor Ball, I'll take you up front. On defense, I have been told by the Vermont Lumberjacks head coach, Jim Mosso, that this hype anyone who plays room, but that this player is as good as Corey downy who, as everyone knows in this podcast, just your nephew there, loves uncle Neil, uncle and Starla all star weekend last year. That's yes, and Lucas Deran and oh one defenseman who I have seen play once and can skate as well as anyone in this league. I'm feeling good about the week coming up for him and the lumberjacks. And then between the pipes. I knew at some point I was going to pick this kid for wishing me a well congratulations for my wedding ice kid. I appreciate that. Also, he's six foot for which is just Sho's mammoth. In Goal, Rhetts Alec, who I know, since we're really getting into the confirming when our goalies are starting. He's playing Friday on the sixteen against the valley junior warriors. So last time out he had a shutout in that game we were talking about with Kyle. He had to shutout in the one nothing shootout win for the spartans over the express. So many get two shots in a row. How about you? How about that Rent Jill's on the good sun of new the best part about this fantasy is one week he can pick last, the next week you can pick our sorry, you can pick first, I should say. The next week you can pick last. So Jeff Ye had he had a good week this past week, calling Ella Collin Bella and John Copack. But JR and shoot box was like I'm going to get all my pics on my points when Neil takes me. Thanks Yourn, and not a my, but ye, but, but it lines you up to go last this week. So who are your picks this week? All right, so starting off, the boys are back in town. The beach are play and since I've saw him in person that first game against the avalanche at forward, we're going to go with Mr Ryan Bailey because he's got three goals to assists. Ripped it up in the P last year, as everybody knows. Forty one goals, fifty nine assists, under points that want games. Is that good, Britt as I was asking you, Yep, that's kind of good bat and we'll maybe, we'll see if Moulton Drugulo, is old pea buddy, jumps on his line, they could maybe recreate some last year. We'll see you with that. But and he's got two power play goals already this year, so we got to get the extra points for the power play. BGR playing two games. Then we're going to go to defense, going a little off the rails here. Maybe Curtis, birthright from Um Tam Marilynd. They're playing four times. He already has three assists too, of those coming on the power play. So we're going to hope curtis gets us some more apples this week, maybe even a goal. Hasn't had one yet this year. Didn't have any yet last year, but perfect time now. Like you said earlier, Neal Four Games. I'm going to hope that birthay gets at least a couple of apples. And last but certainly not least, David reduce in net for the Vermont lumberjacks. I'm going to save my actual call of his name to hopefully say in the beautiful confines of Schneider Arena, which I just saw the other day. Mark Dvors said that they got a couple new chillers at Schneider, a red and that the ice is beautiful in Schneider. Not that it was. I don't think it was bad before, but I guess the Providence Friars, you know, they coach Lehman in the gang or all we lost jeffersonted there, but all s we lost you for a sting there closely in the gang what also? I guess they just decided they wanted to get a couple of new chillers in there and get some even better ice and we'll save David's typically it's typically like not bad temperature for us in there, so maybe it'll turn into a well, let's let's hope it doesn't turn into a turn into a breakaway mid January. No, thank you, no thanks. Thank you. Next,...

...but just to recap the overall totals for every one. No, no, no, I have to were on the podcast. I'm at Ninety six point four, Kyle at seventy nine point two, Jeff at seventy five point to Brittany at fifty five point four. But you are starting to close that gap, Britney, and last year you're all avalanche week was a big one for you, so maybe the all sevens week will do the same. As I mentioned before, a lot of games on the schedule, including five the day we d up this podcast, which feels like almost like fifteen at this point in two thousand and twenty. So we're excited about that. Will do will do it quick. Cheers to to Brittany's new apartment and it is yeah, in a big Chiles new position, and that Kyle's new position. And Jeff, you and I didn't do anything so quick. Jay. And big, big week coming up in the east shows. So obviously you can watch all of our games and hockey TV.
