Learn more at penalty box foundation dot Org. Once again, my name is Neil Raven. This is episode number thirty nine of the e show and on this week's episode of the podcast we break down the first month of the season in the EHL and the EH LP, make our next set of fantasy picks and predictions and discuss candidates for our first set of end of the month honors. But first we kick things off with an interview featuring Tim Mattson, the president and owner of next level hockey, one of the newest league partners. I'm joined now by the President and owner of next level hockey, Tim Madson. Tim, how's it going great, Neil W how are you doing to day? I'm doing our right we got our season started. I know we had talked about when we canter this agreement having you on the podcasts here shortly after the season started. So I'm glad to have you on and let's let's start with the straightforward question. What is next level hockey? Jumping right into it. So we're or a group. So I own the company and there's a group of guys at work with me and we're player advisors. I think we're a little more than player advisors. That's the easy answer because that's a very popular term right now in hockey circles. Player of visors, mentors, consultants, resources, those are words that we associate with ourselves. And the name itself it was there any specific idea behind it, or how did you guys come up with it? You know what, to be honest with you, I think if we would have the tea in there, it's just a little too common. So just to be a little bit different with starting the company, we decided to leave it out and that could be our little thing moving forward with the name. So I wish I had a more creative answer for you, but it was we just talked about it and thought it would be a cool idea to be a little bit different. What's funny is I didn't know what the answer would be to that question, but I had a feeling it would be something like that, because, you know, you want to make yourself stand out and everything. When it comes to especially junior hockey, it's all the same. It's all the labels in this and now the same and everyone's trying to get to the same exact spot. But the one thing I kind of thought maybe it would compare to is, you know, now that I've been in this league for a few years, I've started to get resumes every now and then for individuals who were in my shoes five years ago, wanted to get into the communication side of things, and one thing I noticed is every now and then you get a resume that's landscape instead of you know who, or vertical. So it's looked different and kind of like what you were just saying, there by leaving out that tea, you're trying to make sure that everyone knows that you are different. When you bring in players advising, is that the biggest thing that you stressed to them, finding a way to make themselves stand out amongst everybody else? Not Really. You know, it's really important to when you're giving advice and directing traffic with with the families and the players and their careers. It's really important that they know who they are as a player and what they are as a player. When you try to be what you are not and expectations are not what they should be, that's when careers tend to go the wrong way for particular player and family within their expectation. So we're really up front with people when they ask for our advice and we give them our advice. And you know the people that work with us, they work with us because of one word and that's experience. And myself and then the rest of our staff, it's a very experienced group within junior hockey in College Hawk key. So when it when it comes down to their questions and directing traffic for them there, they're leaning on that. So when they contact to what is your first step? To try and access video of the player playing, to access that's what's the first thing you want to find out? Well, we're a little different. We're a little different, I think, than some others and we we don't send out masks emails to large groups of families and players. We don't do things like that. Everyone...

...that we come in contact with either is referred by somebody or it's somebody that we've seen play or we've heard of, and we do our homework on each player and each family before we get into the nitty gritty of whether we work with them or not. So it's a there's no manual to really get you through that process of finding an advisor or an avisor finding a player. Everybody does it differently, but I mean what I found is you know families. You Know Family should do their homework and we do our homework. To your point of the question, we do our homework on every single kid and every single family that that we come across. And what I'll what I've got to know about you, Tim and, and making this partnership happen and learning more about your company. you You keep saying the word we a lot. So let's hear about the rest of the staff, because it's not just yourself, as you keep pointing out. Yeah, yeah, we have a we have a team, and it's just like it's just like coaching. I've been an assistant coach before and I've been a head coach before and you know, you're not a very good head coach unless you have a good staff and you're not a very good coach in general without good players. So you know, when I decided to start this I reached out to some guys. I actually the three guys at work full time with US outside of myself, or all three guys at worked with with me when I was a head coach of the Minnesota Wilderness in the North American league. One was a scout, Zach Bargee. He covered Michigan for us. Terry Dunbar was our goalie coach and Scout, covered northern Minnesota for us, and will shows as also from Minnesota and he covered the metro area in the Midwest there in Minneapolis St Paul area. So all three guys have scouting backgrounds, coaching backgrounds, playing backgrounds. They're good people, they're good communicators there in this for the right reasons. It didn't take me very long to make those phone calls when I made the decision that I wanted to go this direction with my career. And you touch on the Minnesota Wildernet. So that's the two thousand and sixteen seventeen and seventeen eighteen season. Is that when this idea first came into your head? No, no, it's it's interesting. So I was in the coaching Profession for the last twelve years, the Division One assistant, division three head coach and tier to junior a in the North American League head coach. And you know, ever since I started I dealt with a lot of advisors and it's become a very popular common thing in the game and it's evolved through the years and my wife and I had to be honest. The decision my it's really simple answer. My wife and I made a decision in the springtime that we wanted to move back to western New York, where we met and we were from and we spent a lot of years together out here. So you know, a logical way to stay in the game was was to start this company and I felt that I had a lot of knowledge of this industry because for twelve years I had dealt with on a daily basis guys that were in this industry. So I had a really good feeling of how I thought things should be done and we're applying that right now. So this was in a way planned. It's not. It kind of sounds like that. Whether it was this year or not, we don't really know. But for you, do you want to get back into the coaching side of things eventually? Are Do you feel comfortable where you're at now? Really good question, really good question. No, it's I've had that question a lot. Actually. Life is funny and who knows what happens. I don't miss it yet and I'll obviously we're all under some some goofy circumstances right now, so maybe, maybe that's why. But I think once all these leagues start playing, and you know I'm talking to more players are going through certain situations within their team, I'm sure I'll miss it. But as your question, we'll just see where life takes it. I know this. I've been doing this for six months and I really enjoy it. It's really gratifying to be able to pass on your knowledge to players and families who want help and want somebody in their corner. I'm really, really enjoying that, I will tell you that. But as far as the coaching question, I guess we'll see where life takes us. But then for some of our younger coaches that we have in this league, you kind of touched them a little bit there. You went from coaching at the collegiate level.

Then you went, I guess you could say the word back. That's what how some people would refer to it as going back to junior's and then in the tier two level and then to the division three level. For the younger coaches in our league, what advice could you give to them about how the path that you take as a coach is beyond unique? What a great question, a shiny a hum. Well, if you if you were to sit and spend for or five hours on hockey DB and looking up NHL Coaches and division one coaches, there's no there's no direct path to get to where you want to get to. My thought process at the time was I was a division one assistant coach for seven years and every assistant in hockey thinks they can be a head coach right. So, until you're in the big boy chair, you don't know if you can do it or not, but you think you can do it. And it was always a goal of mine at some point in my career to run a program and so I had left Niagara's when I was assistant to take the Wilderness Job to get head coaching experience and to see if I could do it and I enjoyed it. We had some success. My wife had a my wife and I had a child, and the schedule in junior hockey, especially the north Americaly, you get sixty games, plus preseason, plus playoffs. Here you're playing seventy to eighty games and I wanted to make sure I was around my newborn son. So I had pursued the division three opportunity at Scholastica, which was in the same town that the junior team was that I coached. So we didn't have to move and I was fortunate enough to get that job. So I don't think I don't think I would have got my point is, I don't think I would have gotten that job if I didn't go get head coaching experience and have that on my resume. So Division One assistant and then I had an opportunity to be a head coach in junior to set myself up to be a head coach in college. Is the way my path ended up. So I guess to to give the advice that you ask, I think it's good to have a plan. I think it's good to have goals and then you got to figure out yourself how you're going to reach those goals and within that, you got to be prepared to move. You got to be prepared to move around. Don't be afraid to take a chance. Don't be afraid to move your family across the country if that's what it takes to get you to where your your your goals lead. Yeah, I think the great, the best point you said there is that there's no you know, direct way that you have to do things. You went from Division One Assistant to N A head to division three. Had maybe you could have gone from Division One to division three. But every path is different, of course, and the same is for the players. But before we start to talk more about the players, to finish with your coaching. You've done it in both the collegiate level and in juniors. What is the biggest difference between the two? Well, in college you're you're dealing with a kid for four years and I think the relationships you can build a little bit different because you spend a lot more time with them. You know, junior, oftentimes you have a kid for one year, which one year in hockey is seven eight months, and then oftentimes, I mean your goal is to move them on to higher levels, whether it be college or another higher level of junior. So it's a little bit different. You're dealing with an old, older kid, obviously, in college versus junior. Personally, I really enjoyed my time in junior hockey. I think it's the purest level of hockey out there because the players they haven't gotten to where they want to get to and as far as making a difference in their careers and lives, I think you can have the most influence on them at the junior level. Okay, and then in terms of the players, let's continue on that path. Obviously, this year you come out with this new company. Probably didn't plan on their being a pandemic during all this, but but that's that's a conversation for a different day. But I'm sure that's been the focus of a lot of your questions. What is the most common thing that players are asking when referring to the pandemic and everything going on? You know, the answer I've had to give on a daily basis, as I don't know, unfortunately, and and part of my job, just like when I was coaching, is I probably spend five to seven hours a day in the phone with junior coaches, college coaches, so on its forth and it seems every single person you talk to you get a different answer. You know, I could talk to five, five coaches in your league or five coaches in the North...

American league, for example, and in the same day and all five coaches in each league could give me a different answer on what they think's going on, when they think things are going to start, when they think things are going to happen. So you know, I don't enjoy doing it, but I've had to to tell a lot of families I don't have an answer for you right now. You're just going to have to be patient, you're gonna have to sit tight and when we get to it, when we get answers, you're going to get answers. For the families that, I guess you could say may push a little harder. You try encourage them to find out home that they're comfortable in and and and stay there. Or what do you tell those families? To be quite honest, with this going on right now, I've told some I've told families you just have to find the spot to play this year. Yeah, because with the trickledown effect starting in the USHL with with those teams, a couple teams not playing this year. North American League, four teams not playing this year. You talk about the ladder development that you guys are a big part of, and that's a lot of hockey players. You know, you got fifty sixty kids between the two you was Shl teams and you got, you know, close to a hundred North American Leagu kids that get spread out between those teams and now those kids trickle down to other levels of hockey and you know, it's come to a point where there's going to be some really good hockey players that, quite frankly, I don't know if they're going to be able to play hockey this year, and I hate to say that, but that's just where this trickle down has has where it's gotten to and it's a challenge because there's a lot of teams in a lot of leagues right now that still have, I mean they have twenty three to twenty five man protective lists and they still have forty players in town right now. And when they make those moves it's going to make levels below them a lot better because there are going to need to be places for these kids to play. But the same time, what happens to the kids who spots they're taking. So it's a really tricky time right now and my philosophy right now is you got to find a spot to play and you just got to play. And if you're coaching right now, if you were coaching and you walk into your locker room tomorrow for practice or a game or meeting, you name it, what are you telling? What the consistent message that you're telling? You're a group of players that's already there and already has that home. I think it's a good life experience for them to they're in survival mode, you know, like it or not, in they tell every player that is coming out of high school or midget or prep that the day that the final buzzer sounds in your last game of prep, high school and Midget, from that moment on hockey's a business and you know, coaches get paid to win. Organizations like winning direct it affects revenue, so on and so forth, and the coaches are paid to win. So I think, I think in some ways this this situation that's going on with all the bodies out there right now. I'm sure it's really tough on a lot of kids because they don't know if they're going to be there all year because there's a lot of players in town right now trying to fight for Rosser spots. But I think at the same time, if you want to spend it to a positive it's adversity and you got to fight through it. You got a battle through it and and you're in your in survival mode every day, fighting for your job and, quite frankly, the way the real world works is you have to perform at your job in the real world as well or you're going to get fired. So if you could relate the two, then it's just something that these kids, unfortunately or or fortunately in some ways, we're going to have to fight through this year. I think that's the great way to look at it. It's a tremendous life lesson for what's to come and future years of hockey and then after hockey. So I really really appreciate you coming on the podcast him. I know we're going to try and get some of our guys on your behind the bench segment. I think we've already had cody cam'p will get on that over the summer. I am absolutely jacked about the partnership. selfishly, the name next level fits so well with our power rankings and our commitments and I've got a great response so far from everyone that has seen those posts and I'm really excited, like I said, and I hope that we can have you back on the podcast again soon. I really appreciate it and really look forward to work in with you guys. And Yeah, I'm really excited as well to get get the behind the bench going again here. We've taken a little bit of a break from it and we're going to get back go and re get that going again real soon here. And you know, we're really really going to target some coaches in your league and get the them up there and, you know, let some people know who their programs are...

...and educate them on your league, because your league is are really really important part of the ladder development in USA, ha, excuse me, and USA hockey. So really really value your the mission that you guys have. Thanks to him. Take care and stay safe. Thanks as always. Need to have a great day. Thanks again the Tim Mattson for coming on the podcast this week. A great interview with him. A new partner of the League next level hockey. You're going to see their logo on all of our social media throughout the year, first and Forem us with the power rankings, but even more importantly, with our NCAA commitments. We've already announced one so far and of course, the ultimate goal of our league is to keep those coming. Hopefully we can continue to add another hundred fifty or so again this year. But with that, let's bring in the e crew now and we're calling it a week in. Guys, I know it's more like I guess you could say ten or eleven days, but what I've been telling people is with the hockey schedule you round down. So we're calling it essentially a weekend and it was a tough week, but we got some games done, so I'm happy. Yeah, very tough week, but ya starting to see some teams start to rack up some some wins and some points, which is exciting, and they were still trying to figure this out. It's been a little interesting seeing some teams like the junior rangers, don't play again. I can't believe they go a month, obviously because the pandemic and everything in Massachusetts still being one of those places that we can't play hockey and yet so that's why their schedules a little sparse. But you believe that they're going to go a month between games. Yeah, it's this. There's a few different things that teams are dealing with and I don't want to dive too much into some of the behind the scene stuff because some of it, I guess you could say it's a little bit private for our teams and some of it isn't, of course, but it's not even just the virus going on. It's a matter of finding the ice. You know, teams are trying to book games here and there and this is actually the second podcast that I got to be on today. I was on Matt noonon's noontime podcast earlier. And like the three states that I just cannot wrap my head around our Massachusetts, New York or in New Jersey. Like you know, and maybe it's just me, but it feels like it's going to be a long time before we play games in any of those states. I hope not. We're hoping November was going to be around the time that we're gonna be able to play. Right, that was what we were thinking. But yeah, I mean it does not foresee like that's occurring. And I know Kyles Down in New Jersey and they can play youth games down there right now, but it's this is the thing that we've talked about on this podcast before. How are we going to convince a nineteen year old kid, even if they allow games, but with no checking? How do we can miss nineteen year old kid to play and not check somebody, I guess locally in Jersey, though, here, guys, it's things I've opened up a little more. Okay, now even within indoor dining is now available. Twenty five percent. That wasn't even a thought. Two months to go, I don't think so. You know, it's it's going to be a challenge. It's going to be tough, you know, especially if we even in school down here. They'll have like ten kids in a class firm one day and then they rotate them the next day in the next ten come in right and then the next ten really on zoom. But I think they're they're finding some challenges of that and any type of school system at any level or birds high school, Grammar School, etc. So hoping for the best, though. It's funny. Those are the indoor dining thing that you mentioned there is really interesting because, like so many we're not a we're not a food podcast. By any means. But how are all these recidurns that way? If we want, yeahs a big pizza guy. I get the group text go on the other day. O Hungry, get the pizza reviews going if you need to. I Know Justin loves his pizza to but like, how are all these dining restaurants that were able to get, you know, get back on their feet in the summer because they had outdoor seating? Like, what's going to happen when it starts snowing? Because, news flash, people are not going to sit outside and the pouring snow to eat like it's daring snow. Let's why? Poor snow, you know, or it actually does. Poor snow also a lot Britty now in mean, oh my God, Dude. All right, that's the only main talk from Neil. Let's say that's your name on the other the other thing that we really do have to touch on before we really get going with tonight's podcast the Tamba Bay lightning on the Stanley Cup. Justin is our graphic guy and he's a big time lightning fan, like another level lightning fan next year. He really just goes into it and we did. I feel like we need to put his TV on this zoom of people can see the lightning blue, that shimmer. It looks really good. You know what. He off like his team, but I like with the blue. He has that like Bud wise or whatever...

...set up that. MMM, the alert goes off and goal Horne, you go around, goes off. Oh, I remember he sent that in the text. I think every time they score real time that goes off at his house. Right. Yeah, it's like, dude, what if they're on the west of posts ocean? You're like sleeping like one of them. Wow. But like, so I'm gonna take like a two percent credit for the cup finals win. Why? That day, on Monday, here we go and say this be at a very embarrassing moment. Oh No, Neil, would you do? I am already running on fumes. I don't know how I've even like not burnt out yet, because I've been up till midnight like like one of every two nights I'm up till midnight and then back up at Zero A. I'm just trying to figure out scheduling stuff and I'm on the phone with Justin and you ever have a conversation and you just forget whatever the hell you're talking about. I do that with you most times. Yes, and then all of a sudden you tell your graphic designer, okay, love you by Adam Boin Yah, and Vicky looks to me it was like who what? Who say I love you too. That's like Justin. So I call him back and I go, did you catch that? He goes no, and I was like well, now it's even more embarrassing because he didn't even notice it. But then I have to bring it up again. But then that night the Tamba Baylar. Anyone the Stanley Cups? I take some credit for that because I told Justin that day that I loved him, and then Tima Bay one. So I that's my the correlation is simply not there. It's so there. It is so there, and anyone that knows Neil Justin. Well, Justin it. Never actually met, just only talk to me, really, yeah, just texting, calls and ever. Yeah, never actually personally met him. He lives in Florida, bretty. So No, I met him, though. Again, we cant all be me. It's hard, all right, but long story short, Neil is not a big emotion guy. He doesn't. No, Neil gets pissed. He just holds it in. He doesn't sh he doesn't cry, he doesn't like, he gets angry, doesn't show it as well. You just don't show every kind of like keep things inside. You know. Oh, I know, you said you were going to cry wiles of March, like I got to recall. If we make it, that's show emotion. Okay, all right, next, next, and I did show some emotion at that, the wedding to let's make sure that's on the record. Oh good, I think Vicky would have killed you if you didn't tell okay, well, maybe, but I had it. Any wife would, till death do they part. Yeah, rightly, but I had it. I had to share that because I don't know, I just was so tired and I just told Justin I loved him. So I think I love him and guy. But with that, I think it's time for us to start making our way around the show. It's time for this week segment of around the e show. Round the shows brought to you by the junior hockey podcast, your home for junior hockey news, knowledge and nonsense. Check them out at tjh podcastcom. And I guess one way that we're going to start with this around the east show moving forward. We got a new feature every week keeping up with Kyle which obviously in the group text we have fun off. Guys are brain dead. Those big day I was like, what was that? Me Pop's good Jap I'Le Put a gift and of a Kardashian and I didn't recognize who they were. Like I sorry, I don't know what they look like. Oh God, you guys. He's some Maryon jarls of but you get started, because you could touch on some of the things you talked about. First and foremost, a hot start for the avalanche. Yeah, you know what, I think it's three. No looks impressive on paper, guys, but I think also just the teams that they defeated is that much more impressive when we're talking about Boston Junior Rangers, Wall Paul and then, you know, I understand mean, is his own three. There an expansion team. They're going to, you know, live you learn, I guess you could say, but I mean the fact that they didn't also just overlook me and fall asleep on those guys and still clicked up two points. I think. You know, I'm sure we'll talk a lot, a lot about New Hampshire on the show, but I think you have to give credit words do and I think you know that that was an easy schedule to open up the season. No, and that first game. I know, Jeff, we're going to touch on this because Justin already tripped you once. Jeff and I had great chemistry during the first game. I think there were three times where we didn't figure out who was calling because we were just too busy talking to each other. We were talking about we were talking about golf for a while. To that broadcast, ninety five. Why won't watch the broadcast? Oh my God, anywow it was. That was like, if we could pick any game to start the season off with, that was perfect because it's two teams that are really annual contenders and it was great back and forth action. I think the avalanche were the slightly better team and they got that extra point in the shootout. I just find it so funny that the kid that scores the shootout winner began the season at Rangers training camp. Oh that is how wow. I forgot about...

...that, you know. So that's Corey Tuminus, YEA Tuminus, but Britty will go to you. then. Who are the players that Chris has helped out rich with and years past. So it's all even now. Are you asking me the question? WHO began rattle? Maybe there's two players are particular that began a season with the avalanche and then went to the Rangers. Who Little Chann or Opie? Last three, actually that I was thinking of two others. First. Okay, well, at least I got the third one. Can I get a hint? I have you? No, I guess named the Defenseman. Now there's a forward and there's a goalie. What Yo, oh, the goalie. Oh God, who was it? Aiding Curry in Curry? He's was he on the avalanche? Are you okay? He was on the avalanche the same time that Corey toumanus was on the Rangers beginning of the you don't think? I don't think he was. Okay, well, I'll pick our fetch you a dollar. Okay, yeah, and then don't that's so forward area. The forward was definitely on the avalanche for a little while and then spend a long time on the Rangers. Wait, you know he's going to Fredonia this year, Jake Blackwell, Oh, yeah, I so. It's funny. It's a long time with the Rangers. But I always tell people what I love about our league so much is if you don't have a fit on the current team that you're on, whether it's the New Hampshire athlants to Boston junior ranchers or the main eclipse or whoever, our coaches do so well keeping those players within the league. Because when yeah like and you see a thousand on a hundred and sixty five commitments, yes, there's always somebody that has them most. Chris can can stop texting me as he's as he's listening to this. He loves the Brag about how much he has. You know, Chris, Chris, but, but, but, they all work together right, and it's just funny that Tumanus has the game on his stick in the shootout and gets Chris the extra point, which we found out last year. Every point is, insanley crucial. Ask Cody Campbell. He was one point away from skipping the first round, playing game where, remember he lost to the Sea Coast Spartans, and catching up with the seahawks, who got a three game series. Yes, they lost the wizards, but you'd rather have three a playoff games and opposed to just one. It goes without saying facts. Absolutely, and actually I wonder if I wish we could go back and look. Do you think two of US maybe gave coach DiCaprio look was like thanks, coach, see you later. If he did, I would laugh right. Well, but little simmer sess from Corey. Maybe it's really about chemistry, though, finding the right guys that fit in your lockerroom. Everyone has a different locker room. You look at. You know I was. Where was I this past week? And I think I was I was golfing one day and I got calls from like six different coaches and my buddy says to me, God, every coach sounds so different and I was like, yeah, they definitely are, and everyone has a different personality. But Gosh, styles much onsome makes the AM shows. Yeah, seriously, that's on New Hampshire, the main eclipse. While they're owing three in that game against the avalanche. They were down one nothing after the first to nothing after the second and then the floodgates open a little bit with four goals in the third. So but they hold on though. That's that's the thing, right, is that's that's a new team that, as the game is wearing on, that's when they start to, you know, the score maybe starts to drift apart. But you give that a few months and you bring in a few other pieces here there, they're going to be right there in that conference, and not for nothing. That conference is pretty damn hard right. It's definitely, I mean, just look who's in it, for Christ's sake, like it's it any given day. Whoever can be first, or at least I was the case last year at the end of the year. And if we continue on down with those standings, I know we're going to touch on it in the fantasy the lumberjacks have been through a whirlwind so far. The Jacks are jacked up and I'm a little upset that nobode just took advantage. Besides, David Roducey like Egan Schmidt to be forget he existed that I'm working at. You pointed out the group text is like why don't? I was like, Oh, yeah, he's a returner. He's been there two years, three years now he's but this is this is his sexy second yeah, I Kay, I don't even think he's an Ahl. I think he's an old he's a no one like that is like wow, he he is the type of kid that has the talent to, I would even say, maybe play in the NA next year. He's not going to. He could take a jump up next to the next level. And what's funny is Count Bill, I'm and I'm calling I'm calling that game and it's like Aigen, smitcole again, smccole, again, Smitcole, and then I look over and while I'm calling the game, his dad's like that's my boy. I was like, Oh my God, that huld pick up an the AHL BAS who saw commissioner out of here. This guy's so I felt so bad for the lumberjacks and bad for the railers to I guess said we're not going into it, but the railers are in their own quarantine right now and we did all this effort to move the to Ehl into EHLP Games railers lumberjacks.

They were supposed to be Saturday Sunday this past week. Last weekend we moved on to Friday Saturday ehl's in hooks at eh LP's and Exeter and then all this happened for the railers that they couldn't play in the lumberjacks come down with both teams stay overnight and get one of the four games set. Now what's interesting is, like I picked David Reducey, we're going to get to fantasy letter on I never thought that the next week and which was supposed to be this week in October, three and fourth was supposed to be Walpole in Vermont. It just worked out that we move those games to today, any yesterday, and I still got two starts out of a juzy. Like I said, we'll get to that, but I think that's good. Like I wanted to talk about that because it's just our players want to play games first and foremost and they got to be ready, they got to be flexible and they got to be ready to get back on the bus a day later, because it's going to happen in the blank of an eye. Good poor kids, especially with the last the poor kids. But you have to do it that. You have to work with what you got right. Well, said Britt, and I'm sure that's what all the coaches are echoing to them in the locker rooms. And then I mean the other tough thing, to Neil and kyle. Am Britt, we're all, you know, word showcase list till December. That's usually where you can get the you know, two, three games in a row. You can try to and you stay in the same place for a night and you just kind of rattle off some games. And now we don't have that till Newington in December. So I feel like that's tough to all these players are used to, at least the returning guys are, to having a showcase every month, September, October, November, December, all the way uptil playoffs. We don't have those and yeah, it's like we've said, it's just it's going to be a weird different year and it's weird different the kids don't know what to do with they're recruiting either, because it's hard, because it's like you have to start reaching out yourselves. Could you just can't. No one's going to see you. They aren't going to be able to see you, at least in person, until December. So you can't just sit around and wait till then. Or OATS. I mean nine personally, but to do that. That's someone. Make them. The players don't highlight video us right. Well, I should start charging. All right, you want to be working over your bret. I was hoping, Brittany, it would pick I'll give you a commission for the idea. Brittany, you can absolutely do that. You should. We also, we also have a Martner, also a partner that does that also in standout sports. But to Brittany's points, you are starting to say there is like to we only see so many colleges. I interviewed Kyle Wallack after the first period. Jeff Yeah, the first period blubbers, and he made a point that he's not in a division three conference so therefore there's nobody other than his ad to rule over him and say you can't go anywhere. Right the Neska schools are not allowed to go off campus recruiting right now. And like Pat Norton and there's starn and there's other there's other ads that say that on their own. His a D Kyle Wallack said if you can just stay in New England and not travel too far. But like it, like you said, it's it's tough, you know, for then you got kids that are coming back that are two thousands and, like I said, we'll get to fantasy. Will get to Kyle's home run of a pick as a forward and twelve points to start the year. But like it's every every kid. Just take advantage of every game you got, even if it means that you were on the bus Saturday and you're right back on the bus again on Tuesday and you're playing in Waterville Valley, which is even further north den Laconia. I haven't even been to that ring before, but I know it's some are you kidding? Water's Leete. I love. Why did they plan there instead of woody? You know, was there? Felt because Vermont restrictions, because the county restriction. Look at me, I know. So all that's right. That's yes, and we were looking into Exeter and Hook set and those ranks in the ICE TN and egg and the rings the exit. They just their books solid. Yeah, and like it's like, Oh, if they can be here for ten o'clock, that works. Well, yeah, let me just tell Vermont from Burlington. Yeah, you can. You guys be there at ten o'clock to drop the PUCK. Don't like, I can't. I can't say that, but bus driver will get a crash to an a hundred on the highways trying to get over there. SORR gonna. Honestly, Jeff, when you see cody next, asked him the stories about his bus trips. When he was in Odessa coaching the jackalopes. He said that just se was miserable. The bus driver would drive straight through the night and they were like used to it and they were like beds on the bus and like yeah, well, the ANA travel is another level, like it's a totally another level. But let's let's keep the Tribua going here for a second because no, I know this was a little bit of a debate. On Sunday we started talking about power rankings. Do you guys realize what the collective combined record is of the teams that have been ranked number five in the power ranking so far...

...this year? Wait, I'M gonna say it's not good. It's the Wallpole Express was the first the preseason power rankings, Yanks, and then they out it and then we put in the New England wolves. Also it's going to be around five hundred because the wolves, no, no, since only count when they've been ranked Owen for I will never forget last year when we put in Maryland in and then they went on like a ninety five game losing drink in the kids. We all like you got put us in the power rankings. Now we suck. I can't get over it. That's what happens. You put them a that sounds for a personal problem. That sounds like a personal problem, not to me, exactly you. I'm sure that's something I'll do. Oh, guys, were number five. You know what that means. Loose. All right, let's go. Let's go, while we're here. Weird book, Weird, Wow, while we're here, let's discuss, you know, the wolves. I know can still have more games between now and the pet next power rankings, but is there another team in your minds that you're watching this week that you think is kind of right on that outside the bubble power rankings ready to burst in? I bring the child. I don't know. I think kyles would stark is. Well, Britney's raising your hand? The whizzie's the wizards. Okay, Yep, with bags the way. One game so far and they won that to shootout. Yeah, but skull, yes, and Andrew Safra. So why should they move up? Rit What do you have? Well, she's just that's the teams right. That's my that's my team, and they did beat Seaco Secos to really was had a hot playoff run last year and they're obviously proving themselves to be pretty decent this year. I would say sec so go whiz. He's what happened to rule sevens? No, I have any rolls. Come on, I would never not bess only. We're always rolling sevens, but we're always rowing seven was it on the its only about that fifth spot and the key thing. A note for the lizards what I found very interesting. First, let's congratulate Corey feldy his first ehl game as a head coach of the wizards. He wins that I did at the trip and no one stake. Corey, you gonna score three goals, one of the power playing, two short handed. Maybe you want to score one even strength next time just to kind of balance things out. But will you them? They play the chiefs when the when this podcast drops on October, first Thursday, and then they play the wolves on Sunday. So that really could help leap fraud them into that fifth spot. Now. This puts Jeff and Kyle on a tougher spot now because they can't pick the wizards and there are another team that each of you are watching. Whoever you can start. I was. I said, Kyle is gonna let you start because these there's a team in your area. That may or may not be new around here. Yeah, you know what I mean. I'm not I'm not being biased because I'm a Jersey Guy and the kid I pick last week for fantasy who was complete stunt in work. Fourteen points. I mean, don't talk about it. Radial, Braden M David Patricia. That's his new let's I heard. God. Okay, that's a little lunch. You know. I know we discussed me and maybe some of their struggles that they're going to be experience being a new team, but I think protect two, one and one. You Click five at it, six possible points. You know, come from behind victory and I know when I spoke with Brining Patricia and their head coach, they come it just admired, just like their team chemistry, and I feel like there's a good relationship there to just build off success. So I would have had protect in the top five, no doubt. But that's just me. Everybody think that nail. They did. They did lose that series to Maryland, but they can get right back in. They have. I did. They have two games this we can pulling up their schedule right now. They do it to my phone. Note. Oh okay, well, they have. was writing down the MIC for my fantasy how many games each person had so I know who to pay. I understand. Well, they have the rough riders on the road at Sono Ice House on Friday and then they have a big one with their in state rival, not in their states. There's, of course, the seven. They're playing at Hatfield, that SCARINA in Pennsylvania. So that's Monday powering. Things come out Tuesday morning this week. So they pull that lap upset and they put their beat the rough riders, even if the wizards win both of their games. I'll tell kyle this right now. I think we'd probably give the edge to protect to be in the top five. So I did. I wouldn't not Disagreechi Oh reteck the nest. I wasn't. I wasn't going at your throat with your point, but let's hear who jeff thinks is a team on the outside looking in to watch though, this week for sure. Yeah, I would say team Marilynd and sea coast, like you guys both just I think it was Brittany just hit on its sea coast. They got. You know, they snuck into the playoffs last year. Believe they had finished just around five hundred and coach Trieder doing having the Nice little formula...

...of scoring a lot and not giving up a lot of goals, that I'll help you win a lot of games, or averaging four goals a game and given up two, point six seven. Again, they've only played three games, so it's a little you know, there's not a lot of stuff to work with, but be a very good seahawks team. Lost to the wizards by a goal and then it was really said the main eclipse Ston't expansion team, but they look like they're going to be competitors. They don't look like they're going to be a doormat of this league. So I'd say sea coast probably be a team that be looking at the top five next week, you know. And they play the main eclipse again, this time on the road on Friday, which I know brinny already told me that I hit my quota for main references and this podcast, but it's the first ever game in the state of Maine on Friday this October two and I can't bitterfer. Are you going now? I'm not going literally made. Is it gonna be a main game the HL? Jeff, here's what you can do. Let we got off the PODCAST. You can. You can tweet. You can tweet at the eclipse and ask them why. I'm not giving they don't use twitter. Well, anyways, they they're getting better at it, teaching how to use Google drive, Brittany, but anyw I big google drive lesson. Ask them why there's no ceremonial puck drop for me on Friday. So anyways, is a personal okay, team team Marilyn will have two games between now and we release the power rankings, both against the Apple Court at home the power because are going to come out before their next game on that Tuesday against the little flyers. But that's a game to watch. I did not mark it as a game of the week. I maybe should have. Every time those two teams faced off last year it was a complete dog fight and it was actually the last game that we had before the season got canceled, and that was a game that actually team Marril went up three nothing and I think the little fires scored like six straight. And this is going to hit home hard for Kyle because the little fires won that game. And then we're supposed to face off against the revolution. So this is the first time that the little fires in Marylyn will get back together on the ice on Tuesday. So all good teams to watch. I think the best part about it is there's so many teams. Yeah, yeah, our top for is our top for right now? Right Avalanche? No, lumberjacks, three hundred and eighty seven, two hundred and no. Rangers. Only played one game, but it was a shootout loss to the to the number one ranked teams. Are Our top for. We know where's our top for? Or right after that, five through you say the number. There's an argument for every single one of those to be right there on the on the ends looking in. So it's what makes, I think, our top tension the EHL so special. But we can't be remissed and not talk about the EH LP as well. Obviously didn't get to play as many games as the ECHO, kind of predominantly more of a weekend type league. But staying right in tune, the New Hampshire avalanche, no for Mont Lumberjacks, no, Boston junior rangers. No. It were powerhouse salary and I know it was kind of crazy. Yeah, and and those are the guys that have been at the top right there every year. But to use the word or missed again, coming in the power rings for the very first time at the EHLP level and New Jersey renegades at lives. So big shout out cliff. Cliff, Hey, hi, how are yeah, but yes, cliff, not my favorite email or in the league, because you don't have to. You don't have to sign your emails. Ttyl. I will talk to you later. They say thanks or say test for words. Yes, cetyl is what he usually that's so good. I don't really use that whenever that acted in like talk to you later. Just say thanks or best regards. But they they could have been three and two. They actually played two games in the same day against the chiefs. We're going to do that a lot this year in the H LP, as I mentioned. So a lot of high school kids, so they can only miss so much time for school. School is important and they're already missing school being remote anyway. So it's just like lots of school school issues. So those are two one goal games with the chiefs and the ones they lost was a shootout loss. So they could easily be oh and you'd be looking at a h l piece of the power I kings. That was totally clean. No, losses at all. So it's definitely early, especially in the EHLP, but both divisions. But it's crazy to think that we are a month then we are a month into the season already. Now. I know we didn't start at the beginning of September, but when this podcast drops it's October one like that's insane to think about it. Some thinking about last October. That was a good time. Yes, to a great last October in the e grand old time. Yeah, well, there was. It was a lot easier. I would say a year agree, and it was like All Star, Oh God, times are good. Of your ago. What were you going to say about summer, keyle? Yeah, well, I just felt like,...

...you know, summer flew by. Know that sounds like Super Cliche, but I feel like September of like flew by ten times faster than summer. That makes sense. Read like some Septembers or some buller to me. Agree with that. I don't really know what occurred in the month. It's looks like Augustin's and then September stars like Oh, summer's kind of over. And Yeah, I would agree Cole did. It feels like just the other day it was September one now. Yeah, he said October, September to it should be colder. It's been eighty degrees in Massachusetts, miserable. Yep, it's been hot. So, as we begin to transition into are what to watch for and, of course, everyone's favorite segment, fantasy, I want to touch on a small part here that I didn't want to warn you guys about, because I wanted to catch you a tiny bit off guard and collect a few more votes for you. Coming up here this weekend we're going to be announcing our first set of stars of the month. So that's kind of hard to do and there hasn't been that many games, but I'd like each of you to give me a player or two that you saw out there. Doesn't matter what division it is that you think I should consider in either the EHL EHLP stars of the month. We let's not get it twisted. Oh whoa. All right, Neil does not do this singlehandedly. I'm also involved. Start taking on the credit. You, Whoa who. I had a nerve. Am gonna have to use a bleep button on this podcast. Jeff, no, I didn't swear. No, she did it. I say, we're not. Probably FCC rules. We can swear, but we're trying to keep it a family yeah, we or family oriented much. Okay, do you want me to go first? I'll go for you have so much to say about stars of the month. Let's get someone that we should be watching for. It's all mixed. Then see Brandon Patricia, Old News, whatever, boys assidy. Let's hear. Let's hear why. The Kid lit it up. Four games played, four goals, eight assists, twelve total points, only one point, also on the power play, because obviously a lot of people like to say, Oh, all those points come on the powerplay. That's a lot of even strong production for him by game winner, which was the number two top play and our first set of top players the week presented by the Pelly box foundation. So Freedom Protest A, definitely a forward candidate. But joorn Schupach, is that how you say it? Let's you also when we get the fantasy. I really forgot about that. He was a difference and I'm a really upset about it. But yeah, well, somebody that hosts this podcast is picking him, but we'll get to that. Someone else. Give somebody, someone, give a goalie. Go. I was gonna go defense. I was gonna say my boy, Kevin Bite and gold. Five assists, six points and pitched in a lot of those on the power play. For power play assist for him and he looks gay. Assistant captain role he has. Yeah, it's very big, it is. Dad. Now falls me on twitter. Alex Bite gave me a deal, a shout up. You'll use you saw that. Obviously, ideally this shout out and they goes shot for Mr Bite. I think the game winner was house to bite. So it's my defenseman to yours, and he was like neo rabbit. Jeff Mills, thumbs up on your UHL. Fasy picks a game. What are those? Funny? That's why I had to wear my Wolves Jersey. Yes, yes, of course, trible, who set this to me last year. And Kevin is fight the he's leading all defenseman and scoring right now in the EHL. So we're one years old. We're not picking them officially on this podcast, but the first two that have been named are probably going to happen. But then the goalie is tough and we could we could actually have a little bit of a longer discussion here. I don't know what say. I don't know where you go. You know, Jusi to and O, with wins against the railers and the express, Nick Michael, who were no, with wins against the eclipse and the Express, Lj Newell. Lj Newell played in Three Games, but his goals against average and is one hundred thirty three. SAPERS and his nine hundred and sixty three. Kyle, who would you pick? Yeah, I think the kid from Jersey. I can't pronounce his name over it. Think K Suda. Well, we're talking about the goalies here. For goalies, I mean that's tough. I feel like we had a lot of a lot of goalies saw a lot of action. Yeah, long story shorts. You do I like. Actually, if you want to hit on him or he was a rough rider. He was good last year for the rough riders and he was a seven. He was on the he's easy and native. I think he's not mortal. Teams are league started on riders. Okay, let's focus on one thing at a time. The chiefs city, part the chiefs. Yes, that he kinda was on the chiefs, and then the Kevin Cunningham because of Cheshire Academy. Yes, okay, so you're souona played for it's for the chiefs and now the seven. But was he ever a rough rider? But no,...

...no, I don't think so. He's never was, not either. No, no, no, I've called ways to the HL games something. No, not on pain. No. anyways, back to the goalie side of things. Now we're trying to pick a goalie of the model. We're off the rails. Well, we're really off the rails. I gotta bring this thing for David. You're douzy personally. I mean the kid from New England had over what a hundred sieves and it has four games. Bunny, it's a news seems like. Yeahs like fifty shots, like I mean a hundred chods, and copack almost in ten shots. My fantasy pick last year, copack or last week was efficient. Only play one game, but sixteen saves on seventeen shots. Yep, and he had a shout out. Jane, you new well, he had a shut out. And then you look at the ehl piece out of things. There's two guys on the renegades, each with eight points. He got three guys. Mattson got three guys at seven points for for one in the avalanche, Graham Hassin, who we named the Star of the week, before start of the week. Crazy to think that three of his first four goals are all game winners every game they've won so far. All three games are game winning goals. Graham's racking them up crazy. And then his dad follows me on twitter. What's up an? If we'RE gonna pick pe guys like I try to do last year in fantasy, we are not. Could you imagine? Jeff would have just picked Valin, drew clow all day long. I'll they everlood and all way with it, my boy Johnny, but I think that's good money out of that. On we touched on some stars of the month stuff. They're like I said, those are going to come out at some point over the weekend. So we don't want to reveal all the actual picks right now, but I think it is a good transition as we work our way into our favorite section, everyone's favorite section, as we keep hinting towards it. Let's go with it. What to watch for in the show. Before we wrap things up, here's what to watch for this week in the east show. And it's time for the e crew fantasy challenge, brought to you by BERTUCCI's brick up and pizza and Pasa your home for authentic Italian dishes, catering and group dining. Check out their party pizzas and specialist effort to cheezcom. We use words two horse race a lot last year, Jeff, and I don't want complete shot at Brittany yet. Oh, Brittany is at twenty point four points. Jeff is at thirty eight point two. I am at Oh, I didn't even see this. I actually got behind Kyle there. I'm at forty point eight and Kyles at forty point six. Oh my God, I'm horrible at this. I just miss the discimals up there. Every tell tendally you should have picked before me, but you still got your boy anyway. So we'll get we'll get to all the pics. But, as I was trying to say there, it is a very long season, Brittany. It's not like we just just a half a year last year. So it is any time. Never forget my all avalanche team that Letn't hit Christ up. That was a good week and things can turn very quickly in fantasy. So this past week you picked Tim to board, Christian Hall Big and Tristan Hadley. Tim De Board got you fifteen points with a goal and five assists. Big Shot out debout huge thanks to the points came on the power play. Christian Holbury got you two assists and one of those came on the power play, getting him five fantasy points. And what we have noticed a lot with fantasy as there's a big difference between a win and a loss for a goaltender in net. Of course a wind counts for four extra points. And then, of course, you're fact you're in a negative point for every goal against. And I have to bring it up though, the the Brett. Try To tweet at Brittany or text at Brittany. How many fantasy points to Tristan Hadley gets you after he knocked off his team. Knocked off the seahawks five before and overtime. No last time last year, and pictures and Ley junior really screwed me over. So, Chrison, now Ley, you've been permanently taken off my fantasy roster. Good rittens. You know, Weston, I'm gonna tell you right now. It's probably a good thing, but you're probably gonna see numbers. Could La rose, though, it's like, Oh, it's gonna now, because he this selacks are anti Britt I'll pay that for free. Yeah, well, anyways, let's hear your new picks for this upcoming new pick. All right, new picks are really needed to do something for me here. All right, I'm stealing. Ye, I'm stealing Jeff's old goalie, John Kopak. Were also having is if you know, you know. I'm sorry, no, SCO, goody, that stop. It's hum. On Defense, I picked Jack Johanson. Jack Johanson, very offensive defenseman. Kid loves to shoot the PUCK and score goals, so I'm really praying to the heavens that he really does something for me. And then at forward, who did I pick? Waiting to think you picked a foreigner, because you love foreigners. Oh, true, true, true, you're right, you're right,...

...you right, you right. Okay, I picked Dennis Arka Panko from tmd, TMD for life. Al Hey, what's up? Yeah, I picked Dennis Arka Panko from team Mariland. You know what, right now he has the second most points on his team to Vincent Maurice or Mauri sements, and I don't know which one it is. It's Vincent Maurice. Come okay, I saw I was correct. So he is the second most points to him. But you know what Dennis Arka, Panko is like an e show vet up the Yang. So we're going to take it. And, as you mentioned, two games for him against team up or team APP of court, New York appo court. Okay, WE'RE gonna change that to everyone, team Avalleanche, team that clips, team Rangers. But with that we transitionto the three horse race, all of us at the top. Jeff, you pick next for actually, let's go. Let's recap what you had. Sorry, I want to. I want to cut you off from there. That's all right. Ryan, Ryan Malco for you. Three goals to assist, two power play points when he scored, got up points when you were calling the game. You could not hold back, which is fine. Wasn't seen on TV. Had I been? As SEEN ON TV? Kevin Bite got you a goal and five assists for those points came on the power play. John Colback only played in one game for you, but stop sixteen of Seventeen shots in a win over the rough riders, and all and all that brought you to thirty eight point two points, and that's a that's a darn good week and you were in first for a long time. This week, honestly. So Youtube came in like sink it out. Some of the scheduling changes actually helped me. But let's hear your picks for this upcoming week. All right. So we're going to start off with a forward. We Got Donny Felben, who scored a goal today on the power play. Four goals and assist, so he's got five points in the first five games. Big Power Play Guy, Neil. So first off, Neil said this was boring, just to let everybody know. Hella Boring, Hella Boring, but I went with consistency. The wolves are one of the best teams out there right now, so we're going to ride and keep them. Hopefully they stay hot. And you know, three and one of the first four games. So why not right and then of course I get my Wolves Jersey on right now. So again thanks, coach trivil. He said that to me laugh and last year when we run that Hashtag Wolf fight, I made that up. I made that I wolf bight and he uses it. I made it up. Queen. I know we cannot as it's hard, it's really hard. That was all Britt and so that's why, and it's just perfect because Kevin Bite, I don't know. It's Kevin Bites from Riga, Latvia. We've been lives in Georgia. That's so, he's technically not an import. This kids from the Clatia and now he lives in Georgia. The right. And he's not a girl. He because he's lived here for so long as awesome. In case anybody USA hockey was on our case. Back Up. Yeah, I don't want to. I won't get into the not on our case that. After I just say certain number of consecutive years playing under the USA hockey umbrella, you're no longer considered an import, but he is not considered technically he is Georgia. Finally, he is from Latfia. Lives in Georgia. Everything else, anything else we need to know. Frigue Lati a great place for hockey players. We Go Kurbrat, one of my favorite ABS, is literally not from Latfia. Are You well? He was, wasn't? He literally the most California Kid I've ever seen in my life and whips like an Audi. He has like the he's so callie it's ridonculous. Sorry, up some of the previous wolves play. Thinking of Nick's Crawlis Oh maybe it was crawless up there. We go right, not reggland, Ann and for Brad. Great, thank God. See, this is why we have Britche she knows all the players. She knows all their favorite foods, drinks with it, from what they drive, you know, and their cars, something, my God, and their cars. So I feel let's hear, I'm doing EHL game since like twenty thirteen. So sometimes players like just kind of you. You know, haven haven't jeff and it happened forbid. You make him a scrap. Yeah, I know, Ker Brad just doesn't sound for and that's fine. anyways, you your forward. Oh, I could babe this. Michael Well, wiggle sounds for it right, but the same as let's hear your goalie from the Wolves Julie podcast train and just taking it off of racks tonight. You too good. Yes, quick recap. Forward, Mr Donnie felman. Four goals and assists, five points, three of them on the powerplay. Is that good? Britt? I think that's pretty good. That good. Heaven Bite, a goal and five assists, for of them a power play apples. Is that good? Britt? I would say yes. And then Lj Newell is going to be my goaltenders a week and he is our best goaltender the HL's right now, as we said earlier, hundred three saves on a hundred and seven shots, a sterling one point, three three goals against, a nine hundred and sixty three save percentage and a shutout in there. So we're gonna go get more points in your wolves week than...

...my abs week. I don't know what I'm going to barter but it's something. If three games. That's the biggest reason I picked them to a lot of teams we know. Did you accept my challenge? It's also I was the challenge, but if you get more points on your wolves week then I got on my avalanche week. Yeah, I owe you something. Okay, sounds good. Let's do it. Okay, I thought, Neil, do we still have to roll all the way back in the text? We're going to see how many points, though? Yeah, I'll find that. Will get it. I'll get it. Don't all right, pretty's on a pretty soon. It alre anyway. Next Wee. We moved to Kyle. Kyle, sorry, was the best famous. When I hit enter again, technically you should have picked before me, but I don't think I picked any of the players that you are going to pick. JEETER. You know what? I know I'm going to get tripped again for this, but I gotta go breeding Patricia again. I mean, how do you not too smart moving it? I don't know how we it's a smart move. We're all the same person. Two weeks in a roads, okay, but then you'll come. Also, I'm gonna, I think I'm going to join Brittany on this, but with the Hashtag Wolf, bite, deadling, bringing down the house. Yeah, wolves, all right, the dad's totally giving you a shot on on twitter. No, down and bring it down the house. Good Irish name, I think, for SIS to on the on the power play. I smell something there. I smell something cooking their deck. When bringing down the HOBBE. It's gonna be bite a house, Kyle all day this week. Hashtag will quite White House are no, from Newell to bite and House. Let's come out and the way Z too. Do I need to pick my goalie. I'm kind of hoping Walpole bounces back. I could, I could see it happening and slow faith and Wal Paul. So I'm going to go with Eric Clay Buckholtz. Kid, good kid. That's my goaltender for fantasy hockey this week. I don't get that bull wrong office for arm of course, clay black culture from really pistacles. Yeah, no idea. No idea where he is now, but I have to acknowledge that I am in first place, but I will acknowledge the reason being I got extra starts out of David Reduce. That may not have happened because of the scheduling change, but in my defense he probably would have played two games, I think, against the rails ways. I don't know, I don't think so, but he's there. To give a big shout out to Kim Isabel though. Yeah, one is first. Came up from the PA, came up from the P to the E. got a nice win. CONGRATS, Cameron. Now that's great because my my goalie this week, kid eh L, P to ehl, clamb the ladder along, if you will, and Bobby mcclousky played at Hlady's crazy started both games for team Marylyn against the PROTEC junior ducks. I have not been able to connect with Josh Fusco to see if he'll be sporting both games against New York cavalcort. Josh, please text me back I'm hoping that he gets at least one in here of the two. Obviously you want to work in everyone you can early on in the season, but we're going to go with mcclauskey in net to defense. Brittany actually said his name correctly earlier. One of the best names for everybody. I said thing right. One of the best, no more best names in the league this year. Bijorn shoot Bach Bache, as Brett trieder like to tell me last year when I first met the player, it's kind of close to Tupac. I was like, I don't know if it is is that close, but okay, anyway, I'll try to call the pers try to see what he listens dude. That dude is own breed. He's his home breath in the best way possible. I want to get hoping. I'm hoping the weak momentum carries over for him, because the September thirty game does not count, but he had two goals in the game winner against the main eclipse and they play them again on Friday. So Bajoran, let's keep things rolling. And then we kind of hinted on this podcast that the forward of the month most likely in the EHL will be Braden Patricia, but if he doesn't have the month that he has, my pick this week probably would be the next top candidate for it. For that award, Tyler Bona Paine. In four games, three of them he talied at least three points and the one game that he didn't was a game that they didn't play as well, the refiers against the eighty sevens, but he had the only goal for his team in that contest. So He's already got ten points to his name, four goals and six assists. So we're going to kind of I think I did this last year too. Is early on I just picked a different team for every position for a while because somebody has to get away from the sevens and the wolves and everybody else that. You Two love the pick or love to cry. Listen, we listen, shot it, but I I am unbiased. That's all I gotta say. To go full circle to like we talked about earlier. I think it was one of the first things we talked about. Bone of pain, former valley junior warrior. Yeah, sold, at least you got that one. Couldn't player? Thank you, Britt had to make up for it. There are plenty of others that I could pull from this podcast and put...

...on our instagram feed. Really attacked each hey can we do at the end of the all, that'd be iconic. BE A lot. It should do. That player that we kept on the league though, right now. So that's the only thing left to recognize is that, with the partnership, or the sponsorship, I should say with BERTUCCI's, will be sending some some gift cars and coupon codes to Braden Patricia as the top fantasy performer from opening week, Car Butt for for for Kyle, four goals and eight assists in a power play point and a game winner in there. That's thirty fantasy points. That's us. And if Mason Pal Meranchise, if Mason Palmer had one that game that he had against the avalanche while making forty eight saves, you flip that totally around and you add another four points for a win. You add the win the bonus points against a top five team, kyle would be running away with this right now like it would be a chill. So the best part with down rookie we mentioned in this is that with fantasy a single game can turn your whole season around. So Brittany, your down but not out, and the three horse Y go Dennis. Dennis, how you do it? But the trailer new. I did you review your last week? I don't know if you reviewed your your previous week's players. Who could? Did you toot their hons? No, you didn't. Go ahead now, I think, shout your kids out on one of them. Oh so well, we'll get kyle's first. I mentioned Patricia with dirty fancy. You did. Everyone else is beside James, James Gregory. I didn't mention. He had five fantasy points for kyle, my own king consistency. That's me. Dante Karamani with a goal, three assists, power play point in a game winner. Maybe want to know what we call him? Sure, just we roy. Got It, got it, you got it, Roy Quint now, yes, royal, have the year. Thank you, Roy. So, thanks Roy for that. Well, his game winner was the number three top play and maybe the best call of the five goal calls. So make sure you guys go back. Oh, the rough riders. was that as so electric? No, no, that's the rough riders announcer, and that dudes electric, who's, as knew, like just it. Don't worry everyone. He went to Quinnipia, just like me. Oh, so there you go. Nearly took a super QUINNIPI are wait, we're you to say to his CEREMONIS winner. Yeah, that's but the PODCASTER, the Roy. Oh, they were playing at Connecticut. That's why I was the Connecticut Guy got it right and we can't play games in the State of New Jersey. And it's he acted like it was like a Familey Cup layoff. Guys, that guy's phenomenal. Go to go listen to it, Jeff, but I did. I actually I heard. Really that was a Terribleney, but I was like that's not empony resent, not not away differ. So he got me eleven fantasy points. Declan House who Kyles picking this week on a ten fantasy points and we touched on it with David Reduzi getting me nineteen point eight fantasy points. So that was a smart pick. You knew he was gonna be the yeah, he's the word, he's the ards, he's the workhoase, that's for sure. So last week's picks, this week's picks all around the east show the League is back.
