Starting things off in the weekly rundown, we look back at the past week as well as reflect on where the power Akings stand heading into the November showcase. Further along, inside the Crew Fantasy Challenge, Team H and I be got the upper hand this past week as they try to slowly start cutting their way into the deficit. Then, to wrap things up in or What to Watch for a segment, we circle some key matchups to watch through are the upcoming showcase Weekend. This week's episode is brought to you by Hockey Tech, developers for the new e h L app, available now in both Apple and Google stores. So with that, let's bring in this week's E crew. It's just three of us this week, Jeff and Anthony. Anthony, we can almost like adopt you into Team O G this week. Only a year and a half until I'm on the wrong side of I'll tell you what, Anthony. Everyone that all my friends that have reached thirty after men O Jeff is kind of like do than me. Um, you feel the pain when you wake up in the morning, the right knee pain right now every morning I could feel, Anthony. I also have some great news for you though, because you really are not joining Team OJ. You're still on Team H and IB. You guys actually gained some ground this week. We won't we won't get to that just yet. That's a tease if you won't say I totally wasn't just tanking for Connor Bajard or anything. So well, there's your plug. Connor, come to the h L with that. That's getting the weekly rundown. It's time for the Cruise Weekly Rundown. These should week be Rundown is brought to you by No not Connor Badard, the Junior Hockey Podcast, your hope for junior hockey new his knowledge and nonsense check about a t J podcast dot Com. It's kind of like if he was actually in the league and you didn't hit him. It's like you have McDavid right in front of you. You're supposed to pick him for fantasy, but you choose somebody else instead. But Connor Berdar is not gonna play in the h L. I hate to bring it to all of us. Tells me he's excelled past her three hockey love Tier three hockey, But I think Connor ber Dark has excelled past that. So let's jump first into the power gas because, uh, we finally had a new team. I guess you could say in the e h L take over the number one spot. The season obviously began with the eighties sevens at number one because they were last season's champ um. They roll through week one of the season and then when they fell so the Wolves at the September Showcase. The Wolves had control from two week two to week seven. Damn. And we heard about it, Jeff, did we heard about it? Chris? He's listening. He's listening right now. I think I think he is, Like he taps into your ups, into our podcast and gets a preview. He's probably him and Walsh. He might be tied for the two that listened to it the quickest. He lives seven miles in that direction too, so so he's probably just sitting on my back deck instead right now. But I walk talk. He's listening. Yes, Chris, you're number one? All right? Your number one? We get it, we get But I did not get to a chance to share with you guys the video that he sent me after posting that they were number one. Oh I think he said it to be in the group text that. Oh no, it was in the group text. Yes, And I'm sorry you haven't seen this yet. Um. It's a video of Aden hot Kiss on the ice after practice, basically just saying it's about time, so Martley, while we picked in Hotskins this week, we'll get to that in Hotskins on the graphic to speak. Also, But I guess they love you. They you know, maybe take the dark board down, guys, Yeah, maybe maybe you know what honestly,...

...maybe we supped on the Avalanche a little bit because they've kind of just gone whole hum throughout the season so far, and there's been so much to talk about with this North Division that I guess I'll ask it as a question now, have we slept on the Avalanche and are they just doing what they always do when they're a top contender once again this year? Guys? Possibly? I think I always tell you, guys, one of my other favorite stakes, no not rest first for us, but they put eracers on pencils because that's we make mistakes, all right, So not that we made a mistake, but I think you're onto something, Neil. I mean, the Avalanche got a nice blend of guys. You know, you've got eating hots kicks back. I really like Rory Andreoli to that's another guy that's been good for them. So they got a good blend. But you know, always with Chris and Mario at the head of the New Hampshire Avalanche that the two veteran coaches things, you know, just kind of it's not that they've bored us, because they haven't bored us. But ah, yeah, I think you bring up a good point, and it was just the depth in the North Um has been something to speak about, and the Avalanche has just been kinda yeah cruise controlling through all their opponents. It's been a crazy week in the North Division. I mean, the Vermont Lumberjacks beat the New England Wolves by a score of seven to where they just blitz the Wolves who were another top team. And then the Avalanche they go out and they beat the Lumberjacks, not by as big of a deficit, but a six four win. Nonetheless, Shane Peremba making thirty seven saves on forty two shots. There have been so many games I've noticed with just these crazy high shot totals. Philadelphia Hockey Club in Philadelphia Little Flyers. When I was looking at the stats leading up to the eighty seven's Little Flyers game, I noticed that both of those Philadelphia versus Philadelphia games, both teams had over forty shots on goals. So are we becoming in all offense league defense options? I will say this is Anthony not not not to skip to the skip to the south too quickly. Um. I've tried to go back into instead after each game and update the shots as best as I can because the game that you just referenced there was a Philly Hockey Club fully Little Flyers game where when I logged in afterwards, the shots for fifty seven fifty six shots in the game. So I got a text from a low that said, hey, just an f I I You're gonna see an email soon about will be fin again requesting a trade to Philly Hockey Club. And I'm like, what, I just he's goalie of a month, Like he's a two year little Flyer kid. Like they're trading him in division twenty minutes away. He's like no, but if they want to pad the shots like that, he's all in. And I was like, it's like, damn, dude, that was actually pretty good when I went back to instead obviously trim off ten from each side. But's your point, Anthony, you know in that's confirming it. There's a lot of shots this season. I'm not sure if it's just a trend so far or it's that cliss se Uh saying I just pux on net like and just throw it on goal. And and do you have do you have the numbers on goals? Are we seeing more goals this season than we have last year? Um? Is a good question. I I don't know I don't have like the current number where we're at this year versus current number we're at last year, but it's worth looking into that because it feels like it a little bit. But I think just naked eye, right, Neil and Anthony, like, we've seen a lot of five four games, six three. We had a ten to in there that involved the new Hampshire Avalanche that we're currently speaking about. I think goals are definitely up. That's a nice little nerdy thing for us that we might have to get doing on. And I would be happy to join on the nerd patrol of goals for this year versus last year, because I think we are definitely a little high than last year. It has if if you want, if you want to go all out on the nerve patrol, Jeff, let's let's go into advanced analytics. What's the expected goals percentage for each team? See see if the Seven will regress to the mean offensively or if the Wolves you have you know, it's funny. I actually saw a stat there to day that the NHL is experiencing their highest per game goal totals in a few decades as well, So maybe it's just hockey scoring is up. I think speed right, It's speed is one of the biggest things that coaches look for at all levels. I think the e h L is a tick faster this year than it's been in years previously. In a lot of leagues are a tick faster, including the NHLAN. I know that. I know that the e h L had recently separated from USA Hockey, but I do think that has another big portion to do with it. Where coaches are telling players from a young age, or where coaches were encouraged to...

...maybe break away a bit from the super defensive structure systems, let the players be more creative. I think having the younger kids playing half ice instead of having the six year olds playing a full hockey rank. I think we're starting to see those factors coming to effect now. Is these players are coming up to the junior ranks and also the pro ranks, and we're starting to see a rising creativity with these players. He all right here, the NHL is experiencing its highest per game average of goals per game since ninety three four, and I think it just trickles down to to to Anthony's point here, So it's nothing against the goalies. I mean elegant. Joe is Joe is yelling right now, and all every coach as a former goalies yelling at us right now. So because they've taken this as an insult to the goalie, because I think we do have some great goalies in the league this year, but because we've lost Nathan Miller. With this point, he's just at the bar so far, so high. I guess you could say, not down. You can't. You can't even maintain that. So but it's uh, for back to those Avalanches that we kind of started this conversation with. I remember it was one or two episodes ago where we talked about how they were a quote unquote last place team. I mean that that division is just crazy to think about because obviously the Wolves have been the talk of the of the league, uh, you know, since the start of this season up until this past weekend when they got swept by the Lumberjacks up in Vermont a pair of games there, and they've kind of gone through this small little rut recently, right compared to how hot they were. And then Anthony mentioned how the Athlantes beat Vermont on Tuesday. That was Vermont's first loss in division so far. This year. It already beat the Asks twice, they beat Sea Coast three times, beat the Wolves twice, So they hadn't just beat every opponent in their division. They had beat every opponent in their division multiple times, right, and then Sea Coasts. I have to say it. They're winless in the North Division right that division. You just I can't tell who is who because some of them are great in the division, and some of them are great out of the division, and some of them are some of them are not great out of the division. The Lumberjacks have been have lost both games so far this year that they had against the Railers. The team is probably better if light. We'll get to the second, of course, But I made the other thing to Deon Anthony's when you look at the North Division, look at all we're talking about offense. They all play offense, but they all played defense and goaltending to they all have good differentials, right The Avalanche plus twenty eight Wolves of plus fifteen, Vermont's plus nineteen, Sea Coast is plus nine, so they're all minus the Spartan surprisingly are over well over sixty goals already. Avalanche had a sixty nine goals. Hey, how are you. Sixty four for the Wolves, sixty five for the Lumberjacks. But you know they're all playing offense, but they're getting back and playing defense, and they have good goaltending to has been solid. Bill Quay has been really good. Trevor Jewell, congrats, just saw the commitment here today. Um on Andrew triples Facebook or so are the Wolves Facebook? I think it's a Brockport So that's from Facebook, Jeff, Well, you really are part of team o G. It was on a team age. Jeff is a huge fan of the Facebook algorithm. Um, but Drew obviously just committed the brock Port. We should talk about that too. Was a member of the All Star team that just based Brockports. So those ones are always always the coolest to me to see a player on our side who now will be on their side next year. We're surprised with his efforts, though coach tickets it's probably like, yeah, that kids. Well, what's funny is when he when I got up to New York, Brian said to me, I will commit one of these three goalies in the next week and a half. He goes, if I don't do it, if I don't do it, before they leave this weekend. I was like, wow, Okay, well yeah, I was like, he knows what he's going for, so he got that. But again, we've talked about the North every week. It seems like every week we learned just a little bit more about the teams there. And obviously, I think for all four of those teams, um, even though some of them have had better luck against better luck than others against teams out of their division, they're all excited to see teams out of their division. It's upcoming weekend at the Showcase. And in the same can be said for the South, which have to be brought up before. I have been now asked by multiple members of the South to reveal where they are in the rankings after...

...the top five, and I said, if you really care that much, you're all hurting each other. And this is from all we talked about name names. There's obviously there's obviously there's obviously two currently in the top five, but there's three not and and they all beat up on each other though, so it's not like they're they have these strong, these lengthy winning streaks that can propel them in because they win one, they lose one, they won one, they lose one and and right now, as interested as I am with the North, I mean the South. You never know who's gonna win a hockey game. You know. One week you wake up and I'm like, oh, these guys are trending up, these guys are turning down, and then it's flipped the next week. The two most exciting division stuff, and I think that both of them. I would not be shocked to see someone from the North and somewhere from the South make the Frozen Finals championship because of well, I mean just look at it, right, we still have a lot of hockey to play, and yeah, of course standings can flip. Look, the Rangers are back in first and the East. Good for them, and they're right of the ship. Everyone was worried about them early on, and they're like, hey, we're a first told you so, but told you so. But I mean with the North and South, um there they just keep beating up on each other. But it's like when you're in the NFL and you have a good offense. We won't talk about the Patriots because their offensive bites, but when you have a good offense, it goes against a great defense. Right, So all those years you go up a good against a good defense, and that actually makes you play better. So I mean with the North and South, I think because they play each other so much and they're two of our talented or most talented divisions this year, I think that that's going to help both of those divisions, all of those teams in the long run. Yeah, Jeff, you just have to bring up the Patriots. I wasn't on the podcast last week, but before last week's podcast, I actually went to the Jets Patriots game at MetLife Stadium where Zach well in through three interceptions. That was That was my first football game at MetLife Stadium. It was not a very fun one. Yeah, passes basically the NFL variety of pizza passes. But you know what, and then the next week they go and they beat the Buffalo Bills. Hospital balls. That's what they call him. That's what he that's what he was throwing. So the NFL has the same parody as US. Okay, got it, Okay, moving on. Um, you know what's funny is, Jeff, you mentioned that about the North South championship matchup. So you know how like you see a lot on throw sports, it's like if the if the playoffs started the day, here's where everyone would be. Yeah. So like, let's just say hypothetically the current division leader and every division wins their division. Obviously we're not gonna have four one seeds in Providence. Something is going to happen, you never know, right, but right now, the one four our matchup in Providence would the Avalanche Rangers, right, and well, hold on, hold on, and the two three matchup would be Ducks versus Chiefs. Right. So if that this is if all four current division winners leaders win their division, and obviously when we get there, you take those four winners and you see them one through four based off the regular season standings. So to Jeff's point, if it is a North, if it is a North South, you know, if the one and the two seeds win in Providence, you're looking at a Duck's Avalanche finalm interesting remember that because because they played this weekend. Mm hm. You know what else I just found interesting just looking at the standings that every team in the North Division has a positive goal differential. The Spartans have the lowest goal differential at plus nine. Yep. So when they win, they win big, and and really, if you look at the nine. There the only teams outside of their division that are above that nine the Rangers at eleven, the Philly Hockey Club at nine. Team that's it. That's it. So four out of the five teams of the South, they're all plus differential. The other thing, Seven's have the lowest goal total in the entire e h L. Right now, Yeah, how have they only scored thirty four goals but won nine games? Adam who we explain yourself? Look at look how many goals they've given up in Yeah, this is a podcast, so you're listening. But if you go on the standings page on the e h L website, they've only scored thirty four goals, but they've only given up twenty seven, even lower than every other team. And credit to them. I mean, losing Cam Carroll was not an easy thing. And then Kyle span next man not Polly's done that very well. You just has a very next man up mentality with all...

...of his um guys forwards, defense or goaltenders. I feel like, so good for him. Good for that. They also got a new goaltender who played in the shootout loss against Philadelphia Hockey Club, Hugison. I'm not sure how to pronounce the name. I didn't meet him when they played their home game against the Little Flyers, and he seemed really really excited to join the team, and at least from what I saw during that game against Philly Hockey Club because I was also on my other job for that one, he seemed to make some pretty good saves. I think now that the Sevens have a goaltending tantem again where it's not just Kyle Span and whatever e h LP call up to just fill in that role, I think it'll be much easier for them, which is saying a lot, because they've already been so good defensively and between the pipes central or East next m I mean, symmetrically speaking, would be south central. Okay, Okay, I guess okay. Are we sleeping on the New York Appital Court quietly? Baby that just quietly going about their business knocking off The Chiefs swept Rhode Island recently. I mean, they're they're just a hair below five hundred really when you look at their records seven eight and two, and we're talking about goaltending. Banoon is now tied for second in the league and wins with Berkie Jewel in paremba Um. Look at his numbers, excellent to four six goals against percentage kids, sees a lot of pucks. The guy Anthony actually told me about Anthony. It was someone from the eight seven's. Actually that's focusing. That's right, good friends. I think with apple Core, though, they're playing against a Connecticut Chiefs team who's also been struggling a little bit. Hcre Island. They had that great four and no start, and now I think they're facing some struggles that most expansion teams have where I think it's just getting used to not just junior hockey because obviously they won those games early on, but I think the slog of the e h L season. So I think for apple Core, they are going up against a very good New Hampshire Avalanche team. Again, like you said, Neil, probably the most slept on team in the league. So I think that this showcase, at the very least this first game for apple Core will be a good test. They also go up against the New England Wolves in Haverol, then they get to play the Seahawks, So I think that this showcase will be a very good indicator of what kind of team apple Core is and if they can keep this winning streak going, then yeah, I'll be a believer, absolutely for sure. Schedule again, I don't know is my memory correct, Anthony, that you called apple Core Wolves last year in Harol that was there was It was a shootout game, and I want to say it was one of the best shooters we've ever had because it was like Calinan and Walters went for the apple Core and then declin House scored um for the Wolves. Obviously none of those guys are here this year, but facing off in havevival again this season, so maybe maybe another shootout in the books. I don't think I called that game, but I think I think I remember. I think I remember you were posting highlights about it then or something, because actually you want to know what the funny thing is too, because Jackson Bernard was in net for that one. Right then we had the Hockey TV ad before every game and there were so many goals against Jackson Bernard where I'm just thinking he was the best goalie in the league last season, maybe safe for Nate Miller, and we just happened to get all the goals that the other teams were able to muster on Jackson Bernard, we just all keep them on to that, like, wow, Well it's an interesting point, Anthony, because I always thought about that when I see hockey highever it does work for their rival in so I can actually understand that. But whenever you see hockey outes, they always show goals, right, they show says when they can. But like, you gotta be really mentally tough to be a goalie because you're they're all You're always being showcased as giving up goals always, always, which is why I'm not a goalie. So that's why I mean when we talked about Bernard last year in the podcaster and games and stuff, you have to look at with goalies. It's war look at save percentage, not goals against, because how many pucks do they see? How many pucks do they save? Um, if they're seeing a lot and they're still making a lot of sieves and you're still over the nine number, then you're usually doing okay somewhat right, Um, But yeah, I mean go for the good for the core. That is a heck of the schedule of if you can take in the kuck off the Avalanche Wolves, I think we'll be...

...talking a lot more about them next week, so for sure. And then to wrap things up with the East Division, which is the division that you can almost say, one good week, you can go and you can be the new first place team. It's what a truthfully feels like, right, because that's what the Rangers just did. They lost the Seahawks on Tuesday and then one on Friday Saturday. All of a sudden, there in first place place nine and seven. So and I mean we touched on this last week. Walpole are the Express Hockey Club, I should say, has been kind of right there at the top of the entire time. The Wizards with the craziest record in the league now at five seven and four, So, I mean, it's a it's a really unique division, um, and just curious to see. I mean, look at look at the streaks. Right, You've got the Rangers having one too straight. Everybody else is coming into the into the Showcase on a quote unquote losing streaks. So any of those teams flip their results around and all of a sudden they're the first place team. So there's no Rich has a good goalie again, Neil, have you seen that David Felick comes and save the day and the cut. He was, He's been unbelievable. Best schools against the NHL right now, six record so good. You know what button I just found and I hadn't even to was the special team spotton on the standing stage. Have you guys seen that? Wait, Jeff, do you say that he has the best goals against average with point sixty six? No? One point four one point four seven? Oh? I was way off. I was gonna say, let's let's let's go back into the analytics. What's his goald sate goal saved above average. It's got a SA personae. I'll tell you that. Have you guys seen these power player percentages? Yet the Railers are executing at rate where so go? Yeah, go to standing and then click the button that says special teams and hit submit seven ten, lowest in the e h L. But their penalty kill they've only given up one power play goal. Wow, look at that another. I love this New West. Every week I find something new. Last week it's it was a lot. I was really heavy on the transactions and streaks page. Last week still got it Ryan Randy's eight gold streak Warrior. Um. Wow, that's crazy, Anthony, because the worst power play in the league. Seven has the best penalty kill in the league right the best power play in the league. Railers has the worst penalty kill in the league, Railers sixty point eight. So I can't I can't speak for the Railers, but I know what the eighties sevens. It's just so much like last year's team. Offense, not much going for them right now, but the defense is there. And one thing actually do want to bring up. When I was talking to head coach Adam Hooley during the Little Flyers game, the last home game they had, he said that this year's team blocks more shots than any other team he's coached with the eight sevens, and he he believes that part of it could be a carryover from the postseason last year because in those games in Providence, not just the championship, but but also the championship game where they had to kill that five minute major guys like Matt Herrick, d J Brandish, Hayden Watson, they stepped up and they blocked shots. Isaia McKinney not putting up too many points right now for the eight sevens, but he is a monster in the back end. He's eating pucks, he's throwing the body and he's been so stable in his own end. He's one of the reasons why the eight Sevens have a great gold differential even though they haven't gotten that many goals themselves. Yeah. Yeah, this specialty games button is blowing my mind right now. Like you said, just looking at the Railers with their one power play goals for they given enough twenty one against. I won't say they're PK percentage because we love Sean but Tony too much and the seven is just giving up one power play goal and kill rate is like, that's a video game. That's also how about the Little Fliers once again tied for the lead in shorthanded goals last year. They had Kyle Patton, who I believe scored five shorthanded goals alone last season, and there are a couple of other players that had some shorthanded goals as well. Once again, Philadelphia Little Flyers right on top of it with four tied with the Avalanche. Don't look at the e h l PEA standings. Cheff then played special teams and realize that the Vermont Lumberjacts the h l P level are like listen, if the Sevens have given up one hour play goal all year we've given up to We're right behind nine boys. Crazy numbers though, and if...

...you can get up, if well we could do it, you can do it Coachusip. And now that we're here right before the November Showcase, and I know we've touched on this before, no one is more anxious and or excited for this upcoming weekend than the p A Huntsman. They went. They went one and two in the first showcase, I mean nine one and one in the month of October. And it's nothing against the rest of their division. But to now get a chance to prove themselves again, um basing the Seahawks, facing the Avalanche, facing the Warriors, it's kind of a second a second chance for them to say, yes, we we are real, we do belong when you potentially we'll see us in Providence, we will put up a fight there as well. So I'm excited to see what they have this weekend. Jeff, do you want to share that text that you got? Ah, you're in my mind, just notot it out on my phone now. I was at Northeastern doing men's hockey last week against you and h and I looked at my phone and it was a number I didn't recognize, Uh, Zach is what area could fight? Four? Is he from Pennsylvania? Yes? Okay, so four eight four is the Pennsylvania Because I was like, what the heck is this? The text reads Mills Dash big fan of you in the O G Boys. Sorry, Anthony, Jake Tyler's Jack overholdzer Comma Huntsman GM just fallowing up to make sure you got cut from the Huntsman broadcast roster. Asking for a friend. Because we talked about it last week that the last two games that the Huntsman lost in showcase play, I had the pleasure of calling those what Jose and Donis Anthony called the win have me called the Huntsman game? Actually the Huntsman. The Huntsman are two and oh when I've called their games because they had that overtime when against the eighties Evans when Daniel Dukin scored the overtime goal. And let me tell you when they played at Jersey Shore Arena, I mean I thought they looked pretty good when they played against the New England Wolves. This team was flying. It was a fast paced game. I thought the eight sevens and at Airondack Junior Thunder was a great back to back series two games that wanted to overtime. Even though this is just one game, it was a heck of a matchup. These two teams just going toe to tell. And I think with the Huntsman too, they have that affiliation with Team Maryland. So they have some of the guys who maybe didn't quite make the cut. They're playing with their e h LP teams, some guys going back up to Team Maryland where I think that affiliation really helps them, and they like they've built something special in Pennsylvania, and I mean, I think they can have a great weekend in haveviral. Yeah, and so the rest of that. So Anthony, you take over and I will retire from the I'm not gonna be there this weekend, Jeff, I know you're not sorry, though I officially deleted myself from any few of your future calls, but me and Neil will definitely keep hashtag hunting in fantasy. I love my solid Dad joke. Um, Anthony had to get it in there, obviously all the real Quick Act did say. Obviously kidding kept to myself over the episodes, but had to bust your balls. Yes, of course. Um. When the NHL had the bubble a few years ago, Doc wasn't there, correct, he was calling games from home? Yeah, I think he was. So, Anthony, what day is the wedding you're going to this weekend? Saturday? On Friday, You're gonna you're gonna call the hudspin from your kitchen. As gonna say, COVID was a weird thing. Then it helped us you can do something for long range. Now, that was funny, Anthony. One of the I couldn't tell you what year it was, but a previous Harul showcase, they set Jeff up not at center Rice, but in this like corner window and he's calling the games like this the entire time, and they dumped the bucket in the corner. I really can't see there because it's for for for those who are watching because this is a podcast. Neil Neil is leaning over. It was like I can see it was half a deal's mouth. It's like stadium hiding behind the sitting behind a steel girder. You have to, you know, kind of lean one way to actually look at the action. I was actually just talking about that Dave Throut last weekend. It was weird because we were talking about the Avil showcase and somehow it came up, um because uh, what was it? Oh? I think we were telling Jake's brother Mike might do some showcase games for us, because he's a hockey commentator as well, six years older than the little brother Jake that we love so doing the h l UM. But yeah, I was telling Mike about that bandage point because I think he had a bad bandage point recently and I was like, yeah, you ever called one from a coffe it's room And it was something...

...that happened with like the internet or the power connections that day that force me into them. It's the one that was like right next to the office when you go through the doors, and yeah, it was just set up there. I got a picture of it somewhere. You will not be calling from there this weekend, chef, don't don't you? Thank God. But in terms of the e h l p UM, I mentioned vermm with that with that tremendous ah a penalty killed percentage. But they're kind of just going to Hull Hum at the top of their division as well. Twelve and three with sixties six goals four so far, um one of the topicals goal differentials in the league. Rangers the differential episode, folks, it's your title right there, Rangers. Rangers have suffered their first regulation loss. Finally, what a heater they've been on there like last year's Railers Premier teams forty one differential for staying on that the employees seventy four goals for. That's the most goals by any team in both of our h L and h L premiere The other day, Microshard texted me alright, actually him about something. I think they had won a couple of games in a row or something like that for the Seahawks, and he's like, no, no, no, you know, look at our look at our spot in the standings. We are a perfectly five hundred average hockey team. Look at their record. Look at the record. Look at there, fifty three goals for, fifty three goals against seven and seven. I'll take my check please out, like like right down the middle. I had to bring it up, Jeff, because you know, I love my symmetry, right, so I think about I've thought about that so much like it comes up and I'll bring you up in random games that you know, you're not even a part of the league, because it is. It's something about it that just kind of you've you've wore me up to the symmetry. It just makes it just makes things easier. It does. And then and then rememberfore we get the fantasy because I know teammates and i'be picked this player, so this is probably a good transition into fantasy. Um the pace that Ryan Arendy's is on. I know we talked a lot about William Pray, who technically now is the second leading scorer in the e h L. He's trailing Dallas to Mottel. He does have three games in hand, so likely he'll get points in those games and pass the motto. But clear out in front right now in the e h L P is Ryan or Rendy's with thirty four points. Next close, this guy is six back. You know, when do we have to start talking about what the pace that he is on and what he could possibly I guess you could say to say it's set for records this season, because I mean early on, he is obviously the clear front runner for m v P. The Huntsman are having a great season, but he is literally driving the train for that team right now. Yeah, he is in It's unbelievable two point one three. Want you want to the most impressive part two. I think he also set the record for all time leading scores among Pennsylvania husband players franchise history. For those who don't get the joke, it's their first season, I think for a second Anthony Maya had Jeff there. Yeah, he was like, wait a second, this is this is a trick question or a trick statement. So um, I just think back to the top play that we've featured of his a week ago or two weeks ago where he got set up by Carpenter for a one time just absolute bomb. And I'm looking at that shot and I'm like, that is at e h L level one timer. He only has one game where he did not register point. That was the second game of the season when they faced the Express Hockey Club. Wow, Wow, that that is. That is pretty damn impressive. And he's a pick for for teammates and IB this week. So let's jump in the fantasy. It's time for the E Grew Fantasy Challenge. The Crew Fantasy Challenge is presented by Bio Steel, the sports drink of the e h L. Used the promo code E show E s h O W off. When you check out at Bio steel dot Com, Jeff Reddy mm hmm, golf clap teammates and I be gained nine point eight points on tam Fantasy tab right now, we're like the Lumberjacks were just chopping away. Yes, I'm gonna grab a bigger ax. Boys, I don't know. It's a recap the picks made by by tmo G this week. I'm not mad at you, Jeff. We picked them together. We did have four guys give us four goose sax. But hey, Maxwell,...

...what the heck man made nickname? And these guys are having great seasons. Um, but if it wasn't for Jackson Collins, which was screwed like like, we would have put up nothing that which is probably probably why Jackson Collins is being stolen from us by by teammates NIGHTB. But just we're gonna recap the points first because Collins had uh he had four assists in that seven the two first scheme against the Wolves, and then he had the game winning bonus game winning goal because the Wolves are a top five team the second day. So we put up nineteen points and Collins had sixteen of them, and we have four bonus goals of the year, you know, yeah, ding um, But then we added a goal from Atticus Being and that's kind of where we stopped Jeff nineteen. So uh, not our best week by any means, but it let's teammates and I be back in a little bit. They started off with Nick Daver and Tommy Tracy combining for thirteen points fantasy points. Um. They did so in that I think there was two games left, and that three games set between the Ducks and Maryland. Marek Herda out of the goal. Conlin Carpenter added an assist, and I'm sure Anthony didn't love to see it, but kind of love to see it. That game that Nicholas Hansen won, where he put up thirty nine says was a bonus game one a can'st a top five team and the New Jersey, So that ten point eight points was really the anchor of the eight point eight that Team H and I be put up. So that the overall point totals put Team O G at two eighty point six teammates and I BE at two eleven point two. I think this is interesting. Jeff. You mentioned how we have for bonus game winning goals. We also have zero shutouts, zero bonus games one and zero bonus shutouts. But on the flip side, while Team H and I B doesn't have a bonus game winning goal against the top five team, yet they have they have a bonus shutout, they have three bonus games one they have a regular shutout. So they have everything that we don't and we have the one thing that they don't. So but they're in the two hundreds. I need to get the calculator out. What's two eighty point six to our minus two eleven point two? Right there? Sarty did at sixty point four. There you go. All right, So they've cut the deficit down to below seventy and like Anthony said, they're kind of just chopping away. It's a long season. It is a long season. Game seasons now forty six and the e h L forty two and the h L p Sony of time. Yes, so, and let us let's we already gave them one of your picks and in a rendy's so who else do you have this week? All right? Well, also, being Team H and I, be us being the young guys, I feel like I am obligated to say, that is a nice lead that you do have, and but let's go a little bit, a little bit more into the stats for Ryan Orundy's. He has ten points in his last three games. That includes a six point game against the Philadelphia Little Flyers he had four goals and to assist. His most recent game against the Union Junior Thunder, he had a goal and two apples. So again, Ryan Orrendy's has been terrific. He's doing this against teams of all divisions because he's just been that good and I think that he's just going to continue that in Haveral. Now going on to the rest of the the e h L, we're gonna go with Nathaniel Paris from the New England Wolves. Nathaniel perett'z. I apologize if I mispronounced that name, but he is writing a nine game point shriek. He had a goal in or He has to goal in three of his last four games, including against the Seahawks, the Wizards, and most recently the Vermont Lumberjacks. Can you keep the point street going? If he does, I think that'll be good for a team. H h N I B so come on down then, I'm gonna this is an interesting pick. Cade Herrera. He's only been in the show for five games. How about eight goals. He scored a goal in every game he's been in, including his debut with the Wolves, where he scored four sorry, eight goals in five games. We're gonna go with him, hopes that he finds a way to keep that torrential scoring pace going. On defense, please do on defense, We're gonna go with Tristan Boyer was talking with Jake Basile about this one. Says that he's been rock steady from...

...the blue line. He also has three power play goals, so if he can get some goals or assists on the power play, that would also be helpful. He has three points in his last two games. We're gonna go with Bowyer. Another defenseman, braiding Dougherty, saw him play against the eighties sevens. He's a guy who can skate really well. I think he's going to rack up some points too. He had and assist in that game against the eighty seven's. So again, welcome to team h N I B and the saying. In the South Division, we're gonna go with Alexis Jeru from the Protect Junior Ducks. He's been the starting goaltender for that team. Has a nine percentage to seventy goals against average. He won three of his last four starts. We're gonna go with him in goal, all right. Have we confirmed there is no relation to Claude dru m hm. We should confirm that just for the hell of it. There probably probably no no relation him at all, But just for the hell of it, we finally just ask the question. We'll get to it this weekend. All right, Jack, where do you want to start with our picks? If you can start wherever with when when it comes to you we did him off. Please please do me a favor and take the goal if you'd like to, because I don't want to pronounce that. I don't know what's about this new kid. This is the newest Seahawks goaltender. This this is correct Cole Andrew Lowits Andrew Andrewllwitz. The sounds like uh ros. I think he has an older brother who played for the main Nordis in the North American Hockey League. Hmm, abo to find that up. Another question, Jake, we're setting you up for this weekend. That's a bunch of questions that you can do for your interviews. So yeah, Cole, Colin, Andrew Andrew Woods. I feel like this is the a couple of years ago to Jock do Well Anthony he is he is from Louis de Main, which is the town with the main Nordics play, so would track. He's got two wins so far. He has a win over the Wolves and a win over the Rangers, so he's picked. He's picked his his victories. Well, that's why I wanted to go with him. Jeff, do you want to keep going on me to go next? Um, you can go ahead. I'm still looking at all these so I have been told, well, we should mention first Aid and Hodge kiss I mentioned part of the power rankings. UM sent the video about how they're finally number one, and then is good enough for for our team? O G. This week I did really enjoy um the dab celebration that he had, did you guys? That was a pretty pretty emphatic dab. So um, if he gets the chance to dab again this weekend, that most likely means he's scored, so that would go in our favorite Let's get some more dabs. Um, I'll go with another time here Jack WindMan uh in our group me Trevor Blackburn's Jack Woman is the pick of the year. I was going to point first. If you go to the stat leaders page, UM for the e H shell, you're gonna see the first eleven names. I'll say, oh two, right age out year this season in junior hockey is two thousand and two. The first non oh two Jack Jack Wineman tied with another oh three, actually two other threes, they should say, and Heath mentioned Daniel McKernan. But Jack Winman quietly, quietly is my word? This year or this this episode, I should say, has put up nine goals and TENNISI ists so far, um for the Railers Junior Hockey Club, differentially quiet there's your episode. Yes, we'll save that one because we're probably gonna use it again. Um. All right, there's two forwards and the goalie so far, Jeff, Let's keep bounce and all over the place. All right, let's keep bouncing over the place. Told you about hot Kiss, told you about why Woman, and we told you about Oh my god, I get I get hives every time I say this kid's name, Colin Andrew Lewitz get the right. And although watch for all I know, we talked to him. You guys talked to him during the showcase, and he might say no, it's pronounced this way, and maybe Jeff gets it right. Yeah, maybe, but maybe not. So we'll just keep on keep on moving, but maybe not so. Nolan Watski is our file forward of the forward class for this New Week from the Philly Hockey Club. Was just part of the College All Star series. So that's that's it. That's a good pick. Chris Merriman on defense and Ryan Dutcher e h L P pick. Merriman's been a force for the Rangers. Was last year for the Premier and has been again this year for the h L. And then Dutcher for our h L. He picked. And then we already told you about our...

...goalie. And I'm not saying his name again. Did you say you have a four o'clock game one of the days? Right? Yeah? Okay, Well, I mean the play at four o'clock Saturday and four o'clock on Sunday, So you have one of those games, so right now, the Saturday game of the Rough Riders versus the Seahawks. So I'm gonna say that to myself like fifteen times quietly. Oh, if you if you have a matchup between Andrellowitz and Stevie Brown, please don't start worrow for you know, you're just gonna say saved by rough Riders, witch to Seahawks, wits and back and forth. Um, but just just to recap against or everyone knows where we're at. Um the overall point totals team O O g at two eight point six teammates and IB at two eleven point two. So Anthony, if you keep gaining nine point eight points per week, you guys will be right there by the time we get to end of the season and we'll win. Maybe we're gonna stop with these goose eggs. You know, I think I'm confident this bunch it'll be too. It's always fun what we do Fantasy Showcase weeks, right because we're all together, most of us. Anthony. I'm sad you're not gonna be with us this weekend. You just broke the news to us pre game. But you're gonna have a fun time at the wedding. I'm sure maybe you'll. Maybe you'll two hockey TV on your phone. Maybe. Oh yeah, can't you see it now? All those summer videos on Instagram where someone's at a wedding and they're holding their phone like in the back and they're watching some game. I could just see Anthony in the back with with this phone up watching Hockey TV. You may you may kiss the Brian Anthony's Like, yes, I did that years ago when being Christine that we first started dating. I was watching the Bruins Maple Leaves waiting for the bride to come out. There was a delay. It was a playoff game on my phone. Okay, then they're done now sometimes made sex. I think I think that sets up for a good segue. Yes, let's jump into what to Watch for before we wrap things up. Here's what you watch for this week in the show What to Watch Force presented by Hockey TV, the official streaming platform for your e h L and e h LP action throughout the two three season. There are so many awesome matchups this weekend. Like I know one that I was talking with Tyler about that he's calling Little Flyers Slumberjacks, like that could potentially be a running gun type game. Can I bring up something about the Little Flyers. So this new defenseman played for the Little Flyers from the Check Republic. His name is cheetle Yobosek, and our catron said he had tons of praise for him, probably one of the better skaters he seen as a defenseman in the last couple of years coaching with the Little Flyers. Really good offensively, he only has one assists so far to show four in his first five games. But before the game against the eight sevens, he said, I also want to see how well he can play in his own end. And they shut out the eight sevens to nothing that game. There was one sequence for the eighty sevens or they had maybe four or five Grade A scoring opportunities, and most of those opportunities resulted in block shots by ya Bosek, including a scorching one time or from Charles Lavois he he probably has the best one time around the team, and Yobosek took it maybe right below the girdle, just above the shin pad around the knee. You could see he was grimacing a little bit. After the game, he had a hard hat on and I went up to him. I said, Cheeto, is that the player of the game award? He goes, Oh, they gave it to me as the puck sponge sponge like that sponge your boots act for adding that to our arsenal that we can say he's being a puck sponge out there, sponges the puck you can, you can use it as a burb. He was great on both ends of the ice, and he's specifically for just talking about players. I think he's someone to watch out for in this showcase for sure. So a matchup to watch each of you, I'll go last. I won't steal it. I mean I'll go first. I got apple Core Wolves already on my schedule. I got two of the three apple Core games. Um, so we already talked about. I do not have that apple Core Avalanche game. Not sure who does, but that will be their first day and then it's Wolves the second day for the apple Core So, um yeah, I'm excited, really excited to see that. And then you already mentioned earlier Neil, and I probably just put myself on a lot of dark boards for the Central and East Division with my North for South Frozen Finals Championship Sunday predictions. So how about Protect Ducks New Hampshire...

Junior Avalanche. I also have to call that at two. That's kind of fate. That's I would agree, Anthony. Match up to watch, I was gonna say Protech and the Railers. You have two teams that are trending upwards. Protexts still in first place in the South Division. The Railers just like apple coret three game winning shriek, and I think that will be a really good matchup because I think the Railers, I don't want to say likely, but I feel like they're the team that will eventually run away with the Central Division. I mean, unless the Chiefs can turn it around. I think this showcase will be super important for the Chiefs, but I think Railers Ducks that's going to be one of the premier matchups. I'll go to the premier for my game to watch, and it comes on the final day of our showcase at one o'clock in Lawrence at Uran Dack versus the Rangers. It's actually already their second showcase match. They faced off in September. Aderand I probably can themselves because they were leading down the stretch in that game, gave up a late game tying goal and then the game winner in overtime. Um, as we know, Aderondi loves to play games past sixty minutes, So I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that one lost to go past sixty minutes. But maybe Adirondack gets a little even in that matchup. So um, obviously, at what we've loved that we've seen from Adirondack and the Rangers every year in the e h l P, they're just a complete force. So but those are just a small handful of a bunch of great games this weekend. As you heard us mentioned, there are some games taking place in Lawrence as well. The majority of the games taking place in havervil Um at the Haviw Valley Forum. The Lawrence Valley Forum is where some of the Pea games we're taking place, but a bunch of games is also a home and home series for the two e h l P teams that are not coming to the Showcase and the Renegades. So there's a huge chance for teammates and I be to cut even further into the deficit this week, kin Chef. So we gotta hope that, like you said, we don't put up four goose saks again this week. But I I feel good. I feel good about our pick. Let's go calling Intro Woods. He got it, he got it. I don't even know. Every time I say it, I say less and less confidently. But see this weekend call you catch all the Games and Hockey TV. Anthony, I'm sorry we won't see you at the showcase, but we don't you'll be watching, so follow on on social media as well.
