And with that, let's bring in this week's e crew, a smaller crew this week, Jeff and Tyler. I mean, are we calling this what you want to call it? Jeff, Tyler and the old guys. Good things come in small packages A little friends laugh. Oh yeah, they already some of the already tapped into this already laughing, you know what I mean? Chris, I love how Tyler has already got provit. It's on his mind too with the Frozen final s. Yes, I know it's too early, yeah, but we gotta talk about it on this episode too. So um lots to get into as we've crossed into the month of November, so let's waste no time and get into the weekly Rundown. It's time for the Cruise Weekly Rundown. The EASi Weekly Rundown is brought to you by the Junior Hockey Podcast. You're home for junior hockey news, knowledge and nonsense. Check them at a t j podcast dot com. So let's start by officially welcoming in the Boston Junior Terriers, Boston Junior Eagles, and Providence Hockey Clubs of the league. UM. I kind of teased that a while ago, but we got that announcement out there. There was some stuff that we're working out, and obviously, UM just beyond excited to add those three new teams. UM for the for their ranks, the locations. The Terriers are gonna be playing out of Canton Sports Plex, Providence out of the Rhode Island Sports Center. And then I've heard tremendous things about the Boston Sports Institute in Wellesley, so I had never been, but I've heard great parts of the great great things about it for the Boston Junior Eagles. But officially welcome to them, excited to have them join the league. The one thing I do have to figure out, guys, as we obviously have abbreviations, right, so b j R has some company now, right, because you got a b J E and a b J T. Right, But what what do I do with we We just brought in PHC Philadelphia Hockey Club this year, and now we have Providence Hockey Club, which we try and go just three letters. That's the tough part. So this is a this is one of those things that we have plenty of time to think about. Um, you know, how about Providence Hockey team. You can do with PHT PHT. Yeah, well they I mean they have their big youth programs and I hate to tell them to redo their logos. But just up and we'll figure we'll figure that part. We've got time. Excited to have those three teams starting the league. Um very much stuff. Get us two in the h L, two in the e h LL um largest since our inception right now, largest seven. We've never been above twenty teams. So oh that's right. The work will increase, That's all I have to say. But jump into the current nineteen teams. Um, we can start e h L or e h L P. Really which division race? Because I was looking at this today, which division race do you guys want to start with? Because we're gonna talk about all seven, but which one do you want to start with?...

I don't know. I feel like I feel like it's just you can't say enough about that division, so why not why not lead off with it? But with the North I just think it makes the most sense to lead off with the division that is currently firing on all cylinders. I think you can look up and down that entire division and I got to see a couple of those teams in action again, and it's one of those things I actually texted Younial about it. It's worth making these trips, It's worth going all the way up there because the games and the teams are that good, whether it's the Avalanche, the Lumberjacks, Spartans. Haven't seen the Wolves as much because I don't go to Laconia, but all those teams have just been really good this year and they continue into November to be leading the way. Do you know what the Lumberjacks record is in their division? Off the top of my head, now I do not, either Neil five and O. There're five and O in their division. Then I was gonna bring this up when we talked about the South. This is another team I wanted to talk about that's beating everyone in their division, and I think, I think, I think that's what makes it impressive. Right, they're five and all the in the division. The Seacoast Spartans in their division oh in four oh, I say they've lost the Lumberjacks three out of those four twice, yeah, least three three times three times and then one loss to the Wolves an opening day or they're opening day, I should say a shut out. So that means the outside of the division, the Spartans are eight. You know, they have a perfect record. You know, you know what the Lumberjacks are outside of the division. Oh, I'm gonna have to say they're gonna be opposite four and four. So I'm so confused. And this is no shot at the Railers, right, but they're cons are two of those losses. The Railers have owned the Lumberjacks. Yea, And the Railers are right now. You have to just say it for what it is. They're below hundred team or seven and eight. Yeah, yeah, they're figuring it out. You know, they're still I mean, they lost a lot of guys and they're still trying to find their identity. Right. They brought Jack Lee back in Wyman's on that streets page. Yes, I was checking out that streets page quite a bit earlier. Yeah. I love it. You can go you can search goals, you can start to sis points, team streets, individual streets. And I bring up Vermont though, because it's like knowing that, and I guess also knowing Sea coasts, like do we put any stock? Do you put more stock? And being undefeated in your division or undefeated out of your division, if you're in that division, it's a tough one, right because you're gonna be battling for points all year long. And if you're Vermont and you're taking hair of those points when you're playing each other, great, but you're not taking care of them when you don't play teams outside of the division. And it's flipped for the Spartans. That to me, just to like comprehend that and like figure out what it means, it's crazy. Right now, there's a four point gap between first place in the last place, but there's also two games in hand because the Wolves in the Avalanche of each played fourteen games and each have twenty one point. So those two games that the Spartans haven't played, they could win those two games. They're at twenty one points. Lumbers actually played thirteen games. They win that one game difference, they're at twenty points. The one four to three matchups that we're gonna see in this division, it may take us until literally my birthday February to potentially even have an idea of who's in the face who and we still might not know by them because we can still follow the same which I think. I mean, we've all talked, all three of us have talked about it, and Jake and Anthony's all with us this week, but we talked about with them this year too. Is that the league as a whole again is very deep. So it makes sense that you know that the Lumberjack's coming outside of their Division four and four. Um. I mean, Coach Tryers talked to us a lot about he thinks that he's like, oh, these these teams are just gonna go to the playoffs. You know they're gonna be in. They're gonna be here, so let's just best forward and uh, we think they're all gonna be there, but we don't truly know. Well, everyone does get in, remember that, right, But I'm saying I think he's talking about he's He didn't use the words, but I think he means the other the other playoffs. Maybe I don't know one of them on the spot because it was, you know, off the record conversation that we had was just from one friend to another. But I think he might have been alluding to something else, but um, yeah, I mean we're gonna get to the east to look at the East from first to fifth place. Four points separates the Warriors and the expressor uh and first the Warriors are in you know, technically air quotes lab place right now. Um, so just we...

...get a lot of races everywhere and people think it's crazy, But now we're starting to get to that point in time where we're you know, a lot of teams around that fifteen game mark, twelve to fifteen games. So you're quick math, neal, what would that be that we are a quarter a little over a quarter forty six games season. So yeah, we're we're turning past the corner quarter toward towards the second quarter, if you will. Yeah, exactly, And like that's a good chunk November historically up until you know, now we have the All Star Classic. The first two or three weeks in November, every team gets a good seven or eight games, and for some reason, it's just kind of the nature of the schedule, and then we all hit the holiday break. All of a sudden, you have like two or three games and then boom, we're in the New Inntons Showcase. Another game maybe, and all of a sudden it's the new year, right, So I thinks like, if we're in the the turn from first the second quarter, we're gonna go through the second quarter at like sixty miles per hour or at times ten, you know what I mean. So, and then Jeff you mentioned Valley, maybe we'll transition to that division next. If you want to talk about close races, you could be in fourth place one day and then in first place the next day. Yeah. It's just it's like nuts to just even look at that. I guess you have to. If any team has to be feeling best about where they're at right now, it would have to be the Express though with the uh, you know, the fewest games played so far, right, So in a way you could say like we kind of can control our destiny a little bit and create a gap, be that a small gap. Um, when we did, we get caught up in in game count because everyone's at at least four team and they're at twelve, right, Yeah, and I think that's another team that's still trying to figure out offensively, right, We've talked about Jack Boshert and defensively, Tyler, you've seen them more than us. But actually, I don't know if we can truly say that because we're talking about this earlier. You've only seen her been on the conform to home games this year out of their twelve games they played. Uh. But the good thing is that means more towards the back leg of the year, which you have to Dome, would would benefit the team. Obviously, you gotta play the game. Still, nothing is guaranteed, but twelve of the last eight teams starting in December are are at home for them, So perhaps as they build things throughout this month in November, you know, there's another showcase coming up, an opportunity there to pick up some some wins. And I think you know, when it comes to their offense, it's gonna be I think by committee again this year. I think we saw that last year. It was for most of the regular season, spread throughout the forward groups. Um, but I think you're gonna see more of the same this year. It's just a matter of those lines finally starting to come together. They got a couple of new pieces coming in Robbie r. Poker debut last week against the Warriors. They're hoping he can provide something in that bottom six year old. He was playing pretty good minutes on the third line. So I think it's just gonna be a matter of it all coming together for them. It's just like you said, Jeff, it's a new group, um, and it's just gonna take time. I have to pause and go off track for a second. Um, express No, No, it's just no, because like we've we've had tough names in the league in the past, Zach lot of Hajeman. But am I wrong to think that this is one of the tougher as a whole seasons, Like there are a lot of like for broadcaster's perspective, I feel like we've never had this many tough names combined, all the teams together. I mean, I'm just noticing it differently this year. I think it's I think perhaps a testament to maybe more UH players coming in from from different parts of the of the world, some more players coming in from Europe for sure. Um. But I don't know, Jeff, have you noticed anything? Perhaps you know, the rules have added a few Yeah that that are always you gotta sometimes read over a couple of your time just to make sure that you're really sounding it all out properly. Yeah, Now that I think I think you are onto something, Neil. I mean I think we can talk about it. Obviously, going away from USA Hockey, the rules, the roster size has change a little bit. Um. I think another thing that plays into is I hate to bring it up, but COVID, you know, it's still in the world, but now we're two years removed from the wonderful that it was um where that really screwed things up. And so I think it's a combination of the two, right. I think it's getting away from USA Hockey, roster sizes changing so you're allowed a little bit bigger rosters, and then I think it's getting away from from COVID has allowed us, like Tyler said, to get a lot more um, you know, Timmy cuton...

...gloves, the girls in Europe, I think you're seeing more guys, like even from Canada to the Lumberjacks, they've added a couple of guys from from Quebec. And that's a good point. They've always been heavy on the Frenchman though, you know Louis Joseph gearing on Victor Danio, and I mean they're right there, right there next to Canada. But to your point, Jeff, those those Canadians. They couldn't even come in two years ago. We were really in the American League that year, so maybe that's one of this. But to get back on track now, I apologize, Um no, no Central or South next because the two divisions the East, well no, I think we I think the East right now, I mean the point totals just speak for themselves fourteen fourteen, fourteen ten. Like, yes, you could say that Valley has struggled the most out of that division. And it's not like a shot at them there, that's just where they stand. But they have these they have a few winds that jumped out at you and it's like, oh, they knocked off the walls, so they knocked off the first place. Chiefs like they they're right there if they could put it together themselves for a good week when they could be in the position where where the Express are right now. Truthfully, I feel I think the Seahawks to are another team that has really intrigued me lately. To talk quickly about them, UM team that's been like notoriously in the past, UH had a hard time of getting a lot of UH pucks in the back of the net, if you will. But they're starting to score goals and bunches. I mean they're and they're losing a lot of tight games. They've always been a team that's gonna they're gonna grind you down, right, Bill Santaboni, micro Chard now UH coach Allerton, one of the former players that's now taken over for Alex Ratcliffe. Um, I mean there, they are always gonna grind you down. They're always gonna have a good goaltending and solid d. But Carra, we're gonna talk about fantasy later. Um has goals in every game since becoming a man down on the Cave, had four goals in that debut and then has scored uh three goals and three games after that, so he's got seven goals. Um. So I think if it's a team that can start to start to score goals. They just put up six goals against the Wolves the other day, they won six to three over New England, lost four or three to the Rangers, meet the Rangers to one, so back in that low scoring ride, and then lost five three to the Avalanche. But I mean, I think that's a team that we have to start looking out for two in the East. If they can start scoring goals. They've always been good defensively and always been good had so goaltending, Maybe we're gonna watch out for the boys in the Cape. One four of seven since Tyler's infamous twenty something goal day. Hey, you know five five three today, I think is what you said, Jeff so Um, Yeah, I mean, let's Seehawks have some good players, and I mean Scott McManus comes to mind right off the bat, and if you can kind of give him some help and give him some more outlets offensively, someone else to help shoulder that load offensively, because like you said, Jeff, that's sort of their achilles he is they struggled to put the puck in the back of the net. Um. You know, the goaltending has seemed to have right itself of late with with the winds four out of seven. But if they can keep the goal scoring up as well, Um, you know that that's going to be huge for them because that's something they've lacked. And you know, it's a division where it's so close and and it could come down to a matter of a few extra goals and a few extra points for sure. For sure, c we go New just one more point with the East Craziest record in the league East Coast Wizards five six and four. Ye love that overtime Feli and the Boys League. Where'd you want to go, Jeff Le Chiefs have gone through a we'll call it a two weeks struggle. Yeah, well for sure, just kind of open things back up a little bit. Are we sleeping on a team like the Apple Corps right now? It feels like every time I check in, it's either you know, they grab a point in overtime or shootout, or they or they went a hockey gamp coming off the Sleep of Rhode Island. You just said it, and you know, big that was a big series. I actually talked about that series on the call of the Avalanche game against Hockey Club Rhode Island because it was on the horizon and and for both teams, big, big points. And I think for the Apple core the fact that you get all four out of that, I mean, that's going to really help your case in the Central, especially since the Railers have also picked up a few wins as well a couple of points. Um, Chiefs still have that cushion. It's still but but you're starting to see it get get closed upon now and I think it's going to be interesting, because if they can't get out of this funk that they're in, you know, they're gonna see this cushion that was at one point seven eight points. It's...

...crazy. It's shrinking down to five and soon it could be two, and then it could be even and the next thing you know, you're you're out of first place. That was the biggest cushion in any of the vision of the division so far this season. Two now early, definitely early, and I will say just to use the word providence because we we have to just throw it back out there. The road to Providence through that division will be at well, you have to go through Worcester. If Wooster is not gonna go, someone's gonna have to go through Worcester to get there. Even though this year's Worcester team, you can make the case compared to the scorers they had last year not the same. You can't, you can't. You can't duplicate. I'm that plemental with Damon Dulac, right, but you're gonna have to go through Worcester. So interesting race and then we get to the to the division. I guess Jeff already tease because you had something for us Jeff. It sounded like with itself. I mean, you take away the four games, that four or three games that the Ducks have on every buddy else, and this division is like on top of each other right now. Yeah, yeah, yeah, And that thing I was gonna give you, Neil was Ann Tyler was protect just one. And they just lined up everybody in their self division one by one in their last four games and took them all down and said really, I was like, yeah, they did. So they beat Philly Hockey Club for two on Saturday, beat the Phildelphia Little Flyers three to one on Tuesday, and these are their games in order. And then they beat the eight sevens to one, which you know they were looking their chops. That was a rematch for the first time since last year's playoffs that we all thought was gonna be a lot better than it actually was. Sorry, Terry, love you, but he thought there was gonna be a lot better showing than it was. Yeah, and then their last game was today. They beat Maryland three too, So they beat Philly Hockey Club, Philly Little Flyers, eighty sevens, Maryland all in their last four games in a row. So let's go back to the scheduling meeting. Was Terry just sitting there and like, you know, like let's just check off each box, line them up, see you, goodbye, goodbye, good letter. I mean, but but do you think to knowe in there that he said, Jeff to two goal games and to one goal games. I mean, this division when it comes to one goal and to goal hockey games, it's it's every single matchup. Like I was just gonna say, let me check the Philadelphia because even the two ones, the two goal differentials are gonna look. Was there an empty net are in there? Yeah? Of nope, no, there wasn't an empty netse that was a true to goal win. We always have to look at that. Um but yeah, I mean and they and they just sent Sematano out the door. So I mean, that was a guy that was getting points and bunches for Protech. So for them to be able to be confident to get rid of someone like that and then still be able to you know, keep on clicking, they're doing a good job. NICKI bear, is that what we the proper plant? I think he said there a there. Yes, the B is a B. That's right, you introduced that. But Steventna got a chance to go back to his home state, which is Connecticut. So but as you mentioned, Jeff, like they went through their own little balls, so kind of shifting or mixing things up by moving your captain and then bringing in the best first name I've seen all year. They brought a defenseman named Birch Gorman. It's awesome from from from he was playing. He was playing in the An, So first Gorman. You know, he's done big things for them. Their defense I think have has quietly gone unnoticed. You know. It's funny for me because we had those combines, Jeff, and I'm like looking at their roster and I'm like, wait a second. You know who went to the Michigan Combine. Terry did, and damn he did well at the Michigan Combine that some coaches went through it, some didn't protect person South. So now now the whole rest of the South. Jeff just heard you say that, and they're like, well, hold on, Jeff. They've played seventeen two of us have played thirteen, two of us played fourteen. Who is the best Who is the best team in the South. I mean, I guess that's hard to tell because of what you just mentioned. That's a four game gap between d E D seven's in Philly Hockey Club, A three game gap between Maryland and PLF. UM. So, I guess that's that's a lot of games. So I don't know if you truly can say is it protech? But or can you because they just beat everybody in their division? Um, and they're kind of doing it, like we said, in all sorts of different ways. I mean, they are one of the top teams as far as goals scored on the season, their third in the entire e h L, right now behind the Wolves in the Avalanche. So um there plus three differential given up forty eight goals. I think maybe they do miss Tristan vadadad a little more than uh then they think. I know they've had some good...

...goaltending, solid goaltending, um, but fat of Data Miller were good last year. And I don't know. I mean Casper, I know is one of their goaltenders this year in Casper Alexis Drew and Drew that's right, I haven't seen him yet. I don't even actually don't. I think I've seen Protect maybe once this entire season through our different showcase that we've had. But um, I mean, like I said, beating all the different teams in a row in your in your division definitely puts the rest of the teams on notice. But because of that four game gap, can we say Protect is the best? But I don't want to make myself bolts and board material just yet, I think, I think. But also at the same time, I think while you can say that it's early their last stretch of games, the four game stretch can speak for itself like that that it does have some weight to it, absolutely, And and so while they can while the other teams can kind of say, hey, well they've played four more, which is valid um, Protect can also say hey, well we've we've beat some of you in the last four and so I think I think it goes both ways. But who's to say, you know, Maryland the eighty seven's uh, you know, they're gonna feel every every right that they can win this division two and and that's based on their their success last year, but also what they're capable of doing this year. I think I think if you're a PROTECT, the onus has to be on keeping it up. You know, you've you've built a pretty good gap for yourself here, but kind of like you're seeing in the central the Chiefs are losing their grip just to Tad. And you know, if if Protect hits the skid, you know who who's to say? The eighty Sevens or Team Maryland or PLF for PHC. All those teams are still pretty close. They're all jockeying for position. But you know, the eighty Sevens and Team Maryland are are right on their heels and all it takes is a little skid for they have next in Their next two games are against Team Maryland too, so that's a three games and rovers Team Maryland. You just got the better of them. You know, the Josh fust going the Team Maryland guys are definitely gonna be looking their chops. Actually something exciting too. We've talked about it on the E Show this year about the p A Huntsman being the um Minor League affiliate, if you will, the h LP for Team Maryland. Just saw Ryana Rendy's on our transactions page got called up to Team Maryland and Ben him and Ben Watson, Oh him, Ben Watson, I missed that, so I saw Rendy's Who's leading our e h LP in total points, So he gets called up to Team Maryland. Good for him using the transaction page, Jeff, just it's just crushing leagues that are new stats provided issue. He is just loving the different elements that that brings with us. But great, great transition, Jeff. Because if there's anybody that I want to talk about in the e h l P, it is the p A Huntsmen and that Stouth Division. Because yes, they won their very first game of the season, then lost their next two games with the September Showcase. Since then, quick math, in my head, they've won ten games. They've won they They've won ten games and lost two, one of which is in overtime. So you can make the case that since the first showcase of the season, as the time has progressed, nobody has become more anxious than the p A Huntsmen have become to get to the next showcase. To I mean, because when it comes to the to the e h L you're obviously playing a lot in your division, but there is some crossover because of where the teams fall on the footprint. Right when it comes to the e h l P, you really outside of showcases can't cross over that much. The lines are just that much more clearly divided. So for the Huntsman, I'm sure that they're proud of the fact that in October they went nine one and one. I mean that's nearly perfect, right, but you could say that those one that what that oh one and one was against Adirondack, a team from the New England division. Right, So you took care of business in your division, which is why you're in first place. But the next chance to prove yourself, really really prove yourself out of the division comes at the showcase. So you have to have I think an avalanche to right or did I look at this guysule wrong? You're no, you're right, Friday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Like you have to think that they're looking at that and saying, like I know they still have union one time before then you don't want to look past in your division, but like they haven't gotta be anxious as hell about it. We'll just getting there, all right. Yeah, no, I'm sure they are neal. That's uh, that's a good point because, like we said, the last time I saw the p A Huntsmen very different was at the Worcester Showcase.

After fresh off there went over the Wolves and then, like I said, I think I'm the bad luck charm. So hopefully I don't have any of their games coming at the showcase because their next two games, Joseph don't he joined me and they lost both of them. So um, Blaz Kilroy, I will stay away from your p p A hunts but I promise you at the next showcase, get that guy off the microphone. All the years, both of us, all three of us, have been joked around with the with the other coaches about being a bad bluck charm. I think it was Corey Pildy was tease me a couple of times at the edge when I filled in for you. Neil, Oh, No, you're Conda today, Jeff, I think we're Ryan McGrath. I think I had a good jinks on the Warriors for a little while last year. So it's all right. But just like just like Protech in the South and the e h L the Huntsman, I've played two more games than the next is his team in game count, which you could say right behind them two games in game count four points eight seven. So um, I know I asked Anthony this before. It does feel a little bit like we're on a crash course for a Huntsman eighties seven's mid Atlantic Finals with it with a trip to the uh Providence on the line, and then you go to the to the Boston Division work up from there. Um, the Rangers finally have that first regulation loss, and this Seahawks. If there's any team that you could say, who the hell are they, it's the Seahawks e h l P team. It just feels like up and down and up and down, and then two wins against the Rangers and Avalanches. I mean, Tyler, you call the nine to six games like like like who? Like who are the Seahawks at the e h l P level? I have no idea. A footnote on that ninth X Game two, which just really can't be forgotten, was that at one point the game was eight to one, yes, and it was shaved down to eight six, and for just a second I really thought that a team was going to surrender an aid to one lead, and obviously that didn't happen. But I agree Neil, when it comes to the h l P, they're really a dark horse team, Like you just don't know which version is going to show up. Atticus being that's an important man for the Seahawks Hockey Club p team got called up for for h L game, but he's third d h LP and points right now a little preview of something that might be going onliner very interesting division. They're currently tied with the Warriors for a third place in that division, Railers above them and Railers Rangers. That's been the matchup right the last few years. The Railers got the better hand one year and the Rangers got the better hand the other year to get to Providence. So, um, I don't want to say that's who it's gonna be in that division because hey, maybe the right Seahawks team shows up at the right time at the end of the year. But then you get to the the New England Division and four of the five teams are over five hundreds. Yes, yes, I had to make it tough for Jeff. I had to come up with seven different division names Northeast, Central, South in the e h L, New England, Boston and mid Atlantic and the in the e h LP, just because I want to cover everything. But Jeff, after we figure out, texted me last week after last episodes he was already coming up with sponsors we can have. Well, that's what I'm saying, so after we figure out what we're gonna call PHC two, umah, what we need to at seven true sponsors. I don't know what the spot are. Well perfect, this is called our summer off season episodes. But this is going to give us content. I just I think back to the NHL COVID season where they re shuffled the divisions in camp with four names. I think one was the Discover Division, right, Um yeah, they had they had. Each division was sponsored. I know that for a fact. They eat and let's say it's it sucked because it's screwy. It's just crazy. You're just used to it. It was a little corny, but it was tight. Yeah, I got it. Here we go. The West was the Honda Division, the North was the was the Scotia like Scotia Bank Division, the East was Mass New School, and Central was Discovered. So you know what,...

...there's all big sponsors in those different sectors. The Honda, Ducks, footing, yeah, the Autowa. Think it's really just a miss opportunity by us. I should have really just bawled out and said, you know what, it's Neil Raven's division. That's what I really should have done. I should have just called up h and say, what's it gonna take? Family? Right? Yeah, probably probably more than you have, but okay. Anyways, Jeff was starting to tease this earlier um with one of our picks for this upcoming week. So let's just do it. Let's jump into fantasy. It's time for the E Grew Fantasy Challenge. Crew Fantasy Challenge is presented by BioSteel, the sports drink of the e h L used the promo coding E show that's e s h O W for off. When you check out at BioSteel dot com, SOW, you are completely outnumbered by a pair of old men. Right now I am. I am a lone, lone ranger today. This much is true. Hold on, you have a new teammate for just for this part. Look who has hi puppy? And gladly accept Nash is an addition to teammates and I be. I am three years old, but I am twenty one in dog years, so I fit perfectly in team. And he's all right. He left that great brief appearance. Uncle Jeff and Uncle Todd just boared the hell out of there. Nash is welcome to crash like cod with you. Guys, but I don't want to talk to you. He can, he can, he can join the pot anytime he's over. So this past week was another good week for a teammates and I be I mean, thirty three point six points is it good? I mean it is a good week, Jeff. I mean it would have helped if l j G didn't go. L j G was great for us, he was not great for them. I call this hat trick the game before. Yeah, it's just he's waiting to get picked by a team O G. Again, it's really just that simple. Um Ben Watson we mentioned earlier, you know, prior to that call up to the team Maryland. He is going back to the p A Huntsman this weekend. But he's taken. He's probably got five games to speak, or four games, I should say, because he's got the three games with the e h L Team Maryland and then one game with the Huntsman. Um he got them a goal and assist and a power play point for six points, two goals for Jack Lee, one power play and one game winner over the Wizards. Uh Andre left to CoV. He actually got usin points also when we had him Tyler. So I wasn't. Yeah, I wouldn't feel I didn't feel side about that. Pat McKiernan had to assist one shorthanded and then Sambo has got you got you a win between the pipes. So, like I said, thirty three point six points, it was a good week. But unfortunately for for Team o G we just you know, Nathan Guinness with a goal Kate Herrera after he had the four goal game against the Wolves, he still went on got us three more goals, including one game winning goal against a top five team. Jeff, I mean I was shocked that just worked out, that the Rangers got back into the top five, Like just worked out. Yeah, I was shocked the young man didn't take Carrera with that four goal debut. But I mean we now have three bonus game winning goals, right, they don't have any yet, but they do have a two bonus games one and in net and the bonus shut out, so the bonus points have been covered. We'll say. Um, he used to be big on those in the individual standings back in the day too. And then did you find out why they call him ta mellis? Jeff uh Rich told me at the Worster showcase. I think he even forgot. He was like, oh yeah, they called him and I was like, why's Tay? How do you get occasion Tay out of a Kejion Mellis? I don't know. We're gonna have to ask him again. How did you how did you pronounce the first name occasion? Okay, I'm glad that you said it, not me um So, as we mentioned during last week's recording, we picked him as a pet. So I gotta find his peace stats. Hold on, one second, did you follow this this past week? This was insane? Like if we were actually able two have every game that he played count we want. He scored two goals for the so so what ended our pick? Start? Hold on?...

I gotta I got yes. So on the he played e h L right and had a goal and had a goal, so three fantasy points. On the twenty nine, he played e h l P and had a goal and an assist and one of those points, I'm sorry, both of those points were on the power play right. So then he went back up to the e h L and yesterday had another goal. He literally scores in every game he plays in no matter if it's e h L or e h l P. That to me like that is insane, right, because you're a different linemates, different style of play, different speeds, and he's just like, nope, that's the sound of a good occuplayer right there. So overall, not to complain the temo and she can't complain. We got seven points from Ellis, but if you counted everything he did, it would have been thirteen points, but only the P points count. And again tmo G does not cheat, but I did. I had to. I had to just say, like, you look at his last five games combined e h L and e h L P. He has a single goal in four of those five games. So as much as I want to joke with Rich at times that you know in the e h L he's he likes to say like, yeah, our record is seven and seven, but really it's like twelve and two, right, Like he did also say to me that Nellis has the talent to lily score at least a goal in every single game, and honestly he's kind of right. Like the proof points he's proving him to be right. So I knew that I had I had to. I had to bring that up because obviously every day or review every box score and I'm like nellis scored. Wait a second, he played P yesterday, he played E today he scored again. Oh okay, so so rich please make note I gave you that shout out Um Adam Brand, Yes, Adam Drew Brand got us to assist one of the power play. Kayden connors Um did actually play e h L and e h L P Jeff, but did not produce the same way Meliston suppressed but time but and then Colin Burkey with a win. So, as I mentioned, for a team H and Night be thirty three point six points was a good week. We just put up forty two point two. So Team O G is, like I said before, we're just either using everything we have in the tank right now and we're gonna come to a crashing halt at some point, or we are just this is our This is like a retirement campaign season and we are just like really hitting that farewell tour. Hearty, your dad not not DM d Raving, but you know if your your other father, Tom Brady needs to get on that same train, then it's a whole solid another episode, Chef but Tyler, well, let's see here what Team Ace and IB came up with for the final week before the November show, kIPS. So we are going to start with the South Division, and we're going to start with the team UH that is currently on a rip right now in the South Division, and we're gonna go with nick A there. Yes he is. He's having a great season for them. He's been an offensive cattalyst for them. UM. They've got some got a big stretch of game still to come, and we're hoping that he's going to produce over that stretch. And sticking with the South, we're going to hop onto the other side of that battle with Protech and we're gonna go over to Team Maryland and we're gonna pluck forward Tommy Tree see this week UM again another solid offensive player, a player who's in the mix for them always UM. And we think that's a good head to head matchup there in the South Division. We're really excited to see how those guys and how those teams fair. And then round out the forwards, we're gonna go with the Express Hockey Club, who have a pair of games coming up this weekend, and we're gonna go with Christian Hounet's Um. He's their leading goal scorer. It's been off the looking at looking to get back on the score sheet. Um, it's been a couple of games. The offense went a little cold there, but they got three their last time out and they've got Hockey Club Rhode Island up next, followed by b JR. So opportunity there back to back games. Have a feeling if the Express are gonna win and get points, he's going to be a factor. So hoping for some offense there. And he was a college All Star rep too, got out to him for that. Um. Now for the blue Liners, UM, this was a this was a defender that team O g picked a few weeks ago, and we're hoping it's gonna...

...work out for us. We're gonna go with Big Marrik Herda from the New England Wolves. Um idea, we're gonna we're gonna see, We're gonna see how he fares, how he fares for us, because the Wolves always seem to have really reliable blue liners guys that can contribute in a variety of ways. And hurdis in with a few points, so, um, we're hoping for some more this weekend. And then round out the blue line, we're gonna go with someone from the Hutsman. And we're gonna go with Conlin Carpenter um of the of the Pennsylvania Huntsman. Um. He's got eleven assists on the year. He had a four point game recently. UM. So he's been contributing from the back end. The Huntsman have been racking up the goals. They've got sixty seven on the year. UM. And yeah, he's he's a player that's contributed to their success. Uh. And that's gonna that was gonna round out our blue line. And this is fill in the net. Um. We're gonna go with Nicholas Hansen from the Philadelphia Hockey Club the first PHC PHC one point Jeff, you want to you want to read ours? Should I lead us off? Yeah? Go ahead? All right? So another week, another batch of old guy picks. One week. I'm just gonna have to do them all in Uh, our old man boys to Neil Jackson, Collins is our forward. Jackson Collins is are for there's no joking aside, there's any point it's got any two points in thirteen games. Yeah. So he added a goal and assist today, Well done, Jacks, because he had two and fifteen earlier. So it looks like he had a goal and assist today. Well done, Sarah. So he's gonna be one of our forwards. They're gonna go with the max of the pro o max lines as I coined them a few weeks ago. Kenny Maxwell, who has been picked yet. Sorry, Kenny, you deserve to be picked. You've been deserved. You deserve to be been picked sooner than this. Sorry we didn't call your name earlier. But fifteen points in twelve games for Mr Kenny Maxwell, the Middletown, New Jersey native who called Sea Coast his home, only has one power play goal, no shorties, doesn't have a game winner though, so six of those are goals, none of those assists. For those fifteen points for Kenny Maxwell. And then our other forward spot, we're going to the h l P another guy that hasn't been picked yet, but his third in the h LP and points attic is being come on down. Twenty two points in thirteen games equals fourteen assists, does a little bit everything too, has the power play goal, two shorthanded goals, a game winning goal. He's already played one game up with the e h L and had an assist in that e h l games, so we will only count his e h l P stats again like a kejion Ta Mellis. If he does get called up to the Zanna Hawks again this week, um Ne're gonna go with Jake cost on the back end. Nick Guinness was good for HC ren Island last week. Jake cost hasn'ten picked yet this this year, and he's been getting points a lot lately. He had two goals against the Apple Core on the second and an assist on the first against the Apple Court, and had two assists against the Amily and so he is on your streaks page going on in four game looking for a four game streak because he is a three game streak of points, two goals, three assister Jake Costa. They we're gonna go with Lucas Salas from the New York Apple Corps. Another demon has been picture but is in the tops of the league twelve points and sixteen games for sale. It's a goal and eleven assists, has a game winning goal. His only goal in the year was a game winning goal too, so look at that account. And then our goaltender is going to be Michael Gillerman from the Vermont Lumberjacks. Splitting time with William bill Quay. So just like we did last week, we're hoping that Seth Custom maybe plays Guildman a little bit more than bill Quay, just like we did last week with Coach Fosco asking him to uh play Burkey born in Crosby. Burkey got us a win, so hopefully Gilman does two and uh. That's our Batchel fancy picks for this week. The Yeah, Killerman's got the Wolves, Wolves and Lumberjacks, So sorry an Avalanche because he has that are is on the Lumberschacks. Um playing Assel is gonna practice against him. But as I mentioned, they are five and o in their division, and obviously the Wolves and the Avalanche are each in the top five. So not to sound cocky, Tyler, when you are when you have the lead that you have, you take a few deep shots. We just you know what, We're taking a couple of risks because what's it gonna hurt The overall point Yes, the overall point totals put us in front Team O G two fifty nine point six to one two point four. Like I said, this is the final week of picks before next weekend's showcase. Remind myself. There's a showcase next weekend, Like, it's crazy how past this is all flown by. But prior to that,...

...we have a good stretch of games, So let's preview where we want to watch for the most and our what to watch for a segment before we wrap things up. Here's what you watch for this week in the show What to Watch for. It is presented by Hockey TV, the official streaming platform for your e h L and e h L P action throughout the twenty three season. Anthony is not here, but he is watching for the eighties Seven's all right, now we can move on. It's Jake is not here and he's watching for the Railers. Okay, Jake is watching for the Railers. Oh please forget. I need to start to fire back at Jake a little bit because he comes up with these so quickly. Like I posted a video from where we went hiking last weekend up in May and up the Sunday River, and well by the time I hit said, I had Raven cabin in in my inbox. I'm like, what's It's so quick? It's literally still the best. So JE need fish oil as much as we do. It's his young brains produces it. But if if I was Anthony, I would have hype the fact that the day that we dropped this podcast, there is a rematch of the wild card game from last year Seven Chiefs where Kyle Folkson became the folk hero. Remember that that call had um that's not my game to watch, though. God, I kind of want to just point out the Protech versus Team Maryland two games left in that. Well, no, you know what, Jeff, I'll redirect. I'll go Spartans. I'll go Spartans hosting the Rangers because last time they faced it was a one nothing victory. For testing fact of that, that was the forty three game bonus team winning shut out victory that we thought would spark teammates and IB and it has. We've just it also sparked Team o G somehow. So I'm gonna go with that one. Would you like to go? Would you like to be to just tell you protect you bro? I'll take it. I'll take it from here, and I'll say that for me, I'm gonna I have to keep I just keep looking north. Uh And and it's that Lumberjack's Woolve series that's coming up. I know, there's a lot riding there for you guys in your fantasy aspirations. But it's just I think it's I think it's gonna be. It's a great matchup and a chance for Vermont to continue to try and prove themselves against against their division, which, as you've mentioned commissions, uh is perfect still. So looking forward to that matchup over over the weekend, and well, I'm going to protect Team Marland. Protect. So we just tease it a couple of times, so you know, I just gotta go there, and uh yeah no, So now Protect trying to make the second way back around the Seuth Division. Come on, the rest of the South. Let's go PHC, let's go PLF, let's go get the sevens. Let's go to Maryland. You want us to talk about protect all season? Do you wan talks about the South? So come on, boys, let's go. So Team Maryland's got them at and that's down at the Piney Orchard Arena. So that means Protect one in and already took one in Piney Orchard. Now Team Maryland needs to have some better efference. It was a three two, three two loss for Team Maryland, though it was a tightly played game by both sides. So we'll see what happens with the two games set that starts tomorrow Thursday Friday. So outside of those massive still a number of other great ones to watch Tyler mentioned just to get it out there as well. Um, while those while they're playing at the e h L level, the Lumberjacks and the Wolves, they're also playing at the e h L P level as well. So um, and those are two organizations that I think have some good respect for each other but have some good some good hate. Well yeah, it's good, that's for sure. So as I mentioned, this is the last week before next weekend's HARL showcase that showcases Friday, Saturday Sunday the eleventh, twelfth, and thirteen. I can't believe it, guys, we're already into November. Like it just it feels like the season is just kind of flying right by. I don't try to hit the pause one right now because I don't want what you were saying Newington earlier, and I was like, oh, then you fast forward in December than before you know it, then you're never looking the playoffs and then turn in the corner. It was fast. I mean it felt yes, and it felt like we were moving along pretty quickly because before I knew what we were already in that car ride too, uh to New York. That that was Jeff, Jeff, I'm still this morning that you never saw that vehicle, because like it...

...may have been bigger that then the previous Yeah, it was. It was a complete tank. I felt like I was driving an army tank up and down the road. But it looks big at your picture, But I mean that was in that first vehicle. That thing was a little man, yes, exactly. Well, enjoy the games this weekend as always, they're all on Hockey TV, and follow our social media platforms as well for the way this updates, and we'll see just how tight these division races remain. One week from today, we'll talk to you guys, then see you guys next week. Thanks for listening to the show.
