Inside the weekly run down, tyler helps the e crew reset the power rankings and give an APP in depth breakdown of all four division races in the EHL. Moving along to the e crew fantasy challenge, we RECA another massive performance for Jeff's team as he continues to close the gap on Lauren for first place in the standings and lobby for more swag from teams in the League. Finally, we wrap things up with a pair of games to watch for this weekend, plus at's for the other guests that will be drawing the podcast next week. All right, guys, another week in the books and the playoff races seem to only be getting tighter, so our jobs are getting easier. And the ML he was locked out. You so base falloking scores after last week and we have a special guest on the podcast this week. It was hard for me to like keep him like totally special because I can't have him like just join at the snap of a finger, like at some point he was going to join you. We're all going to see his name and his face pop up, but it's not our regular jee. I'll tell us how you really feel about it. Are you saying he's not special? No, but I was saying I wanted it to be a surprise, but it wanted to be a surprise. But it's not a surprise because tyder's been sitting with us for the last fifteen minutes already on this obvious just use you. But but welcome to the PODCAST, tylers. Thanks to I was going to say, deep down, I know that you always think that I'm I'm special. I know that I'm always loved here. So our comment out of this season has been tough love, some good personalities for so hey, nothing as I get ready read. Nothing wrong with that. It's all part of the game. It's all out of love to so now it's nice to be here with you guys. Should be a fun time, happy, even part of the anger famill here. Yeah, why Tyler is joining us is because tyler will be calling all of the EHL Games after frozen finals. Will have another guests soon who will have a role at the finals as well. I think Anthony knows exactly what I'm talking about as well. They're so but with that, let's get in the week to run down. It's time for the E crus weekly run down, and he's run down this prox by the junior hockey podcast. You for June Hockey News, knowledge and nonsense. Check them out of tjj podcastcom. Our previous number one ranked team in the EHL decided that they didn't want to win a game this week. They got letty heard. Oh, I say previous because, Jeff, you're wearing in my opinion, the new number one team right now. I was going to say the same thing. It's like we've worked together for years still. That was why I came all flyer up off the send a little picture of this too, I gotta said, in the Little Selfield because I got the little flyers snow hat little flyers for everybody. T shirt and remember. Everybody else out there feel free to send the rest of us. Ka grew some swag. Will wear it on them. Podcast toby shot basically live in hockey gear when I'm not like doing things for the really so yeah, send it, since there's week's podcast. As I mentioned, the avalanche went up to Vermont and we'll get to Vermont because they're coming later in these rankings. But lost both games to the lumberjacks. Little flyers one both their games, knocking off first the rough riders then the ducks.

Is it weird that we have a third place team at the number one ranked team in the League? That's so weird? Not with the way they've been playing, where ten out of the last eleven games they're doing it in every way possible. They're winning one goal games. You want to get in a one goal tie game, they'll beat you. Want to get a high scoring affair, well, we've seen the dred eleven goals. See those for seventeen goals in the game a couple of weeks ago. So they're they're fine ways to win anyway you want to win this year, at this time of year new yeah, they hit double digits what three times this season already, and honestly, I'm saying what I say this and when he hears this, this, this, this year's little flyers, reminds me so much of last year's eighty seven. Seen just so many players who are putting up points. They're all point producing machines and they have just so much talent on that squad. Starts with captain, General Patten has. We've called them all your long spoopular fantasy pick. Be Right at you mean you go go from Pattn to smernoffs Bouvet. They got Blangobard, Mella, Milla, macdell, Hollie. Just heard that? Any hit? Repeat and listen again, and then he repeat again and they listen again. We'll see if you're calling the next eighty seven game, Anthony. He's locker room before the next game against the album court. Oh No, so this is where it gets interesting. I think we all agree that the little fires move up to number one. Mad One of the highest teams in the League. The avalanche, since clinching the number one seed in then in the North Division, had decided to lose four or five unfortunate I mean they've clinched number one. Number one is locked and we're going to get to the playoff. Raises a big reason why why tyler is on with us this week. But how far do the Avalanche Fall Right now? Both of the Games, both of the Games in Vermont, were one goal games, one goal or one game went to overtime. What do you think is the next hottest team that's most deserving of the avalanche's spot? That's that's I think, kind of either the eighty sevens are the lumberjacks. That's what's too. I would put the seven's first because because they do have the better overall record. The lumberjacks had just recently come out of five hundred. Well, the lumberjacks all right, hot. Hello, Lenny. Periods with Lenny Perchersey is a larger body of work. It's agree. You guys have been sorry. The eighty sevens got you guys. Yeah, and and they and they just yea, they just beat team Marilyne, who has been hot on their tail and second in the division. So again, yeah, I know. On the eighty seven s guy, I know there's some bias here, but I think you have two teams, the lumberjacks and eighty seven S, who have been pretty hot recently, like in a similar stretch. But I think the eight sevens just get the extra edge because they have the better record. They don't agree because they've been down everyone. First came most, just fourteen game winning streak. The still seven to three the last time. Even drop it a few games recently. But they you get the eighty sevens of just done over a long stretch. They've been hot for multiple months. Where's the week? Lumber Jackson hot for multiple weeks. You they're both in that way. Are you feeling the same way, Lauren? The Sevens? Yes, as number two, he said, is to lumber jacks three, oh yeah, the avalanche all the way down to for yes, the ABS that beat the ABS, that beat Vermont four times. I mean I mean yes that. Yes, the ABS are kind of a bit on like the down trend, but I don't think they've done enough to really drop out completely. They deserve to drop out on the top three. Yeah, I think they stay three. Yeah's have to go to three. I don't think that they should go below Vermont yet. I think the I think the ABS,...

I think the as should stay at three. Yeah, ABS of three. Lumberjacks stay for us. Just beat the APPS twice and you want for the season series and the avalanche and season record compared to lumberjacks, to for taking like the larger body of work. I think it'll be curious to see that. They're going to have the seahawks tomorrow. I'm there for that game. I'm looking forward to how they're going to come out at home because they have been scuffling a little bit lately. It's not something they've had to deal with a lot this season. They've hit a little bit of adversity and I think it'll be a good test for them. I think you know, if you're a championship ass aspiring team, a little adversity in the regular season I think they can go a long way for them to tip my hat out of the lumberjacks. They really started to turn things around to so I definitely think it's getting a little bit more interesting in that North Division. A tough called I don't get why we would put the ABS ahead of lumberjacks when the lumberjacks keep eating the APPS as of late. That didn't to me. That does not make sense. That doesn't make sense. The Lumber Jacks did the APPs to have the lumberjacks number, but they did have their number for the majority of the stay. Won The first easy serious press fry the LUMBERJACKSON will. There is three. So there are three and three and yeah, the wrong. If we pull from the last ten record, like we seen always do for these, the lumberjacks have the better record in the last ten. Yeah, I like the longer body to that. I think we have like find a comedy mix of pronger just I just I just don't see the ABS and head of the well, but he's he's. Look, I agree with Lauren and here's the thing. Look, it put the avalanche at for and if they want to work their way back up, will start by beating the Seahawks, if they want to work themselves back up the power rankings and just start winning games again, because they're one and four in their last five. The lumberjacks beat them three times as of late. So I think to put the avalanche ahead of the lumberjacks would not be fair Vermont. Right now. I think that Vermont needs to go three, like just go for Jeff. We just got put in our place. We're just gonna go with it, all right. Just got me. Yeah, we got a little conven little fires are eighty sevens or in two. Lumberjacks are at three, avalanche at for the wolves won all their games this week also, so they stay at five. Yep. Yes, we move on to the EH LP now, speaking of Umber Jack Votes in the E. No, I'm just curious. We didn't say anything about boats. No vote. Yeah, that's the league. Can Can, can take they can take credence to then they can they can get fired up the we just spend a bunch of time on the avalanche and lumberjacks in the e now because been it on the the P because the ass and lumberjacks played three times in the last week or so and lumberjacks one two of those. But did the Rangers do enough behind them? The Rangers lost the seahawks today. Seahawks, a lot of us have seahawks. will get to the fantasy and a little bit because they have a huge week coming up. What what changes, if any, can we make here? Vermont also had to win over wooster in this past because vermunt back in. If Vermont is back in, WHO's out? Everyone had so much to say about the EHL that we get to the H LP and it's silence. That's it's a little tougher. We look just laugh place, but the PS a little bit more all over, because what makes it tough is the team that we just put into the power rankings. That number four is a little fires and they didn't lose a game. So why do they get kicked out? Do We? Do we have the guts to kick somebody else for Vermont, who in the past week had two wins over the avalanche and one win over the railers, right, because the rangers and ass have to stay doing realm that. Do they or we? I think. I think so. Where's that cold ground?...

Who Agree with you? Why? I am asking it a question for young Laurence Smith. I mean, we could wipe it out, we could say it's all the same and just give the lumberjacks receiving votes and really fire up Burlington Vermont. Right now. Can we go over what the last week's well out here. It's been such a long week. Last week was the avalanche, Rangers, railers and then little fires. Each team, one, two and three all had a loss. Avalanche had two losseses. Want to take some troubles? Mess? Yeah, this is a mess. It's not a goodness. Lumberjacks are still for and six in their last ten. So for me personally, I know it seems odd, but I think you just leave it as is and you give the lumberjacks votes and if if fires up Vermont, and I fires of Vermont, they have a big weekend series going up with the wolves this weekend. Like that works. We all agree in some of this. or Say I hi, I won't damn put any words and anyone spouts. Okay. And then the big reason why we had tyler joining us this week is as we get closure towards the end of the regular season into the playoffs, it'll get to beat dollars time, like I said before, for him to call all the EHL Games of the frozen finals. But between now and then a lot of stuff has to happen and to go division by division like say the least, seems these races, like I've said this to numerous people down the stretch. The League has never felt at this point of the year, you know, recording February sixteen drop in the podcast on on the seventeen. It's never felt truly this up for grabs. Pretty Grand Video and media. But are the elder states right? We got a lot of young guns on the show that don't remember the Al Coctor back days and the good naty pres days, and you know the guys are way back and I would definitely agree with that. There's not a lot of bad teams, there's a lot of parody and every division has some kind of race in it. I don't think we have had that in years past where every division has some kind of race in it. So look back in the record books. To be hard to find. I did make a statement that said that on paper right now the favorite probably still is the avalanche. Okay, everyone heard that. People I made that statement to heard that too. Are you built in board material? Are you already? I probably am. Rite were bullets in the sterial since the puck drop this fall. On paper they still are the favorite, leading the league in points and yes, they have this region recent stretch, but a lot has to take place between now and then. But let's look at that North first. Who that got messy? Quick hocks? That wasn't that was not such a race not that long ago. So right now, if the playoffs started today, abs face the Spartans, who beat them in the playoffs last year. Yea, and the lumberjackson wolves face off against each other, who faced off in the playoffs last year. This weekends two games in Lakonia between the wolves and lumberjacks are absolutely massive, huge into the hot arguably the hottest teams that we've had the second half of the season. Yes, so, it's so. It's going to be the appointment viewing must see. Get your popcorn ready to do in the hockey TV. Those are both that letty arena and Lakonias all the cony. That's right. If you're yeah, girl fit, if you're the ABS, is this how you wanted to finish? Do you want the spartans first? I would say probably, yes, but I feel like with the way that this division has been all your long, I don't know, there's an unpretictability to it, I feel like, and especially with those two teams in the middle, with the way they've been playing of late, I got to see the lumberjacks...

...in hooks at Lenny Perno made his debut, took the loss in his first game but played really well. See Acts Tilent. Since then he's really been somebody who's taken over and I don't know, I don't know, since I do the avalanche, if you'd want to run into this lumberjacks team again anytime soon, because they've been even score all year. It's been the goaltending that's been their kind of questionable area, right, and that's exactly right, Jeff well, and you know what, there's there's actually one quick thing on ahead about the lumberjacks, because I'd actually spoken with Vermont head coach Gary Gil About pern Oh and I'm going to have this to my weekly recap. One thing that he noted was that not only are they getting good goaltending from Leney, but because he's playing well, he can build them out of any breakdowns at the team in front of them might have, and he said that that also kind of gives the rest of the team more confidence and they play harder in front of him. So I think that not they're not only getting good goaltending, but they're he's kind of rejuvenating the rest of the team and they're playing with more confidence where they can play more of an aggressive style put up more got. So I don't want to bring up like a store topic, but imagine this team now. They have Perno, everybody else is clicking. If e Schmidt was still were listening, just saying it would be a welcome bray for Egan that he's in the NDA. But I'm just saying, yeah, it was a team that island. It's been putting out. He's putting up, as Jeff would say, buckets of points. FUCKING YEA, it's Jeff Ready after this year, we already know what t shirts for getting for Anthony. I don't care what they think, but if the points is yours pouring snow is mine. You know I don't get one. Okay, well, what's your what to go to steaming? I'm in for the Protos on the promising you ask. So fantasy check. Let's go to the east for a second because I'm going to come back to the north in a moment. Here with the Rangers win today, they clinch the number one seed in the east, which means they get the winner of the playing game, which is the wishers are the what the warriors, who, just just like the wolves and lumberjacks, don't want to separate from each other, versus, most likely the seahawks. So let's reverse this previous question. If you're the SEAHAWKS, who do you want? Wizards or warriors? That's a toss up. I'm stumping again again. It's just like the North Division, though. It's like these guys are all familiar fobs. You see each other a million times through the season and because of that, and then you bring in the playoff factor, you know your lifs are on the line, your seasons are on the line. guys tend to show up moments like that. So and I think the warriors could could be a board dangerous team up front potentially than the wizards. But they're another team. Like goaltending. Is it on the rise for them? Is it is it coming coming back for them? Is it something they can rely on? That that'll be a big question mark, I think, for the for the valley junior warriors, but up front, if you stack them up with the wizards, I don't know. I think I think Valley's got a little bit more more up there and obviously they're led by Billy Hottnett. So you know Billy's Billy's one of those guys who leads by example, is play on the ice and he's got some decent supporting supporting members around him too. So I think the warriors, and especially with the way they've been playing the second half, they've they've given a better effort in the second half, that's for sure, and I think the results for them are coming around. You want to announce number twenty six is named for the warriors. To you do you just say that one pretty well, wow, well, Gay Garrett Alberta to is another. Far is the best. He just everybody gets, everybody gets new names, and that's Luve Garrettl Bert. He was from Alberta, right Tyler of you, greed Alberta, from F Alberta. It's...

...too perfect. Jeff, if you've never gone to a game in Valley, please. So we're not. We're not making fun of Jeff Mazzone. We love his accent. Jeff Liza, it's great. Will be score talking. He'll be score keeping four of the of the sixteen games that we have in the finals also. So there's a small part of me that wants to see the warriors get there just so that he can run up to the press box where Jeff does the PA announcing from and and honestly Jeff will. If the warriors make it and Jeff's there, Jefe zone, I'll have you announced every single player except for at all Bertie. So then he could take the MIC. Do just get just let him do all the warriors players. It's Great Jeff Show Baby, but here's here's a real question. is now that the angers like the ABS of Clint the number one seed of that next group of four teams, who can give the Rangers the hardest time? One will express they have years of history of playing each other in one will games. I was just on a call for one the other day, ended up being to nothing. Was the first time it was not a one goal decision between the two sides this year. The two other previous matches were two one and two one. One was an overtime. When was the shootout with and one win for each side. So yeah, I think they've played each other for years and their systems kind of grind each other and I think they know each other and I so I think that would be the toughest opponent for for Bjr the piece of these. I would have to disagree with you there, because I feel like, especially I was end up being at the game, they do. The VALUDAR wors put up a hell of a fight against the Rangers. Like they was sleep. They should have wanted to win and they like, I don't just I guess the wheels fall off or something happened in Otot when they just kind of fell off a little bit, like they were controlling that game for most of it. They looked great. That some of the best hockey I've seen from then in this New Year. So, like, I would have to say valley would give the Rangers a hell of a fight. Anthony won't take a correct looks like tyler. And Yeah, I like the Valley Junior warriors. I feel like they have the most offensive white beings that could really compete with a Boston junior rangers seem part of me, and I have not much for a reason to say this, but I've this like gut feeling that the east coast wizards can just come out of nowhere and just go on this insane playoff Rona we're talking about. Before they had some stretches where they've had a hard time scoring goals, but they've been in the tug of four at the valley junior warriors the last couple of weeks. I don't know, there's just something that tells me that they could be like the sea coat spartans from last season and just come completely out of nowhere and just knock off like a top seeded team. I can see that. See you those. Is the beautiful thing deal. We all just had different teams. Stir the pot, stir it, and Lauren said that in December to I know she's thinking that right now. She said that back in December. So the big the big game to watch is right here now. There's two big games on my birthday, Friday February twenty five or wizards at Warriors. That may determine who's in that playing game. But since we've all met our predictions, now it's time for time to make his. You weren't prepared for this tire. So who who win to the north? WHO WINS THE EAST? And then who wins the final qualifier? And and I can tell you who I picked. So you know, because I've announced this the last few weeks. Here I have the ABS and Rangers winning and I believe at this moment the lumberjacks are going to win that final qualifier against insert team here. I don't know who loses the sent the East finals yet. Well, who do you got? So for the North it's firmly the avalanche. I know that it's been...

...a tough run for them lately. Uncharacteristic run, though, I would say. This is a team that they showed all your long in all three areas of the game, how dominant they can be. They've got that elite goaltender, they've got a very experience Blue Line and then they have the best line in the eastern hockey league. I mean Matt Carlson, aid and Hotchkiss and Michael Tersoni. They've done it all your long, putting fucks in the back of the net at quite the rate. So I keep I just can't see any of those other three teams giving them a run for their money. I know the lumberjacks are hot right now, but I've got the avalanche as the kings of the North East when it when it comes to the east, I mean I have to say that it'll it'll be Boston at the end of the day, when the dust settles there. I just think this year that they've proven to still be able to control their their own fate when it that division. I know the express were catching up a little bit. There was a point where they were, I think, even in even in points for first a small stretch, but the express just could never quite really get over that Hump and I think the season series this year between those two teams has shown that there's a little bit of an edge towards the Rangers. But I think for that reason they'll be the one to skate out of the east. And now you know to say what teams play in it, but the loser of the North faces the loser of the East. Who's The final club? So I think for the final qualifier I could see a team like the express coming coming away from it. And I think, I think, I think a really big reason why, and and this probably won't be a surprised people, but as somebody who maybe puts a little too much of an emphasis on goaltending, it's it's I've gotten to see a lot of Scott Bird and Jack Bosher this year and I think they've really really been reason one and reason to why the express have had the solid season that they've had this year under go. Yeah, I would say that I think that doover is is pretty underrated and I think in the playoffs, obviously goaltending can make such a difference for you and if you're a team that doesn't really have that Alpha scorer, that that go to guy, you know, the expressor a team that is composed of a group of players that I think can can carry things offensively, but if they're going to go anywhere in the playoffs, it'll largely be because of the goaltending and the team defense that they've that they've brought the season and off that point, you know, that's why I think Walpole has the one chance. I think. That's why I think they match up with the Rangers so well, because it's good Goldtiversec goaltending and good defense. I have a little bit of believability. And then in that sense as well, just because I think I think goaltending can really move the needle like that and right when it comes to strong and score goals. When it comes to matching up with their with the Rangers, I think a tandem of Bosher and bird goes goes really well against some someone of Nate Miller's caliber. Chris Jackson to he's been great this year as well. So there's the north and the east. Now I'm going to ask my favorite question they always ask you, guys. I'm going to spin it in a different way because typically I say, well, isn't who are you? Who am I'm not going to third person I self like that, but typically I say who are the blank right, but instead of saying one individual team, I'm going to say who is any team in the Central Division? They don't know. Every day that changes. They wake up kind of a chiefs when nine for next day. They went on a bit of a tear recently and then they just like they lost one, like they were...

...just like trending way up. I'm like, why are they eating in Newington? But like they just write on it and they feel like I'm honestly, it was. It was kind of fun to see. It's like I've been saying that the chiefs and the railers have been like my favorite match up all season. It's been so fun and I was honestly, I was. I was a little shocked to see them finally pull it off against the railers. They days, I mean they those two teams have been like every time they played this season they got at it like really closely and it was just always an exciting game and to see them this absolutely just go off with quite an exciting game to watch. I know we're down a little games to but they're that race has gotten kind of interesting alsome. We kind of close the books on it, I feel like a couple weeks ago, but there were the twelve. I know there's not a lot of games left, but still you can make it small respect points and confidence to it this time of years. Oh Yeah, they did. It happens. You Finish and have to be a lose out for the railers and went out for the for the pride. I'm in Delaware recording this right now, obviously on this little south road trip of mine. I went to the rough riders chiefs first. That was Tuesday, yesterday. Feels like a month ago. I walked in three minutes late, four minutes late to buck drop. It was for nothing. Wow, hey, you got a shout out, you got a little hello. Yes, I had a had a player wave to me when he scored. Harsh and Dan favorite me, are having Dustin Harsh biggish yell the big nails, a fan favorite whenever he pulls up into the rink. The guys know. They they get that, they get that tingle, they they get that sense the commissions in the building. Yes, big ass favorite. What? What big favorite? Family friendly jeans? Oh my God, for nothing on it, because they scored on like four of the first five shots. In between periods, unsurprising. They come up and they're like you know, you're passing on a trophy after the game is over, right, and I'm like what? And they like Yes, your parent love your story. This is a trophy game, and I was like a trophy from what I can coup? And then and they bring me over the pellty box night. This is the Connecticut Cup and it's it's it's a little cup. I guess not. I dare you. It's something about mixtape. It's rep it represents the state adequately. I was like pass through. Why am I passing this out? They're like, well, the season series is two to two. I was like, okay, turn out to be a pretty good game. Right. Cheeves made an interestingly rough riders held on as I'm taking the picture. We're going to get the fantasy in the second but Dallas, the motto was like you're welcome for the book plaint ha ha ha. Love Him. It's like, okay, but back to the central race. The way that these teams are at right now in the number of games are left of the four divisions, these spots are basically locked in unless, as I mentioned before, a team loses out and other team wins out completely. I know they're struggling, just like the avalanche are. I still think this is the railer's division to loose and they're dead hockeyty. I think they'll get back to the basics and they started. So it's just it's yes, it's just that time of year were there's a lot of teams are about play a lot of five hundred knock, you'll get a lot of weeks. It's a lot of five and five. I think it's hard to sustain the level of defensive play that they carried for most of the season. I think in gold to like to expect that to stay the same way throughout an entire course of the year. I just don't think it's I don't think it's possible. And so yeah, they've hit like this little dip, but out of all the teams in the central even in this skid. There's still I still think it's a head and shoulder difference between...

...the other three teams in them and in that division. Yeah, to be going through a skin and still be ten games over five hundred means Youre doing something pretty right. The rist the right team with the three headed goalie Botson. Now there still waiting to see Carol. We heard big things that I have from the NA has have been as a really translate to the ECHO. Yeah, that, but because a lot ears young to say it'll come back for them. It'll definitely come off them. Yeah, absolutely, he's one of the best, so you can't be concerned about him. And Yeah, if they get if they get back to that defensive style of play again that they had going on earlier in the year, it doesn't matter how many goals the Connecticut chiefs are going to score. I think the railers will have it. Will have it perfectly downpat okayre just deep to the forward de spot. You got a drum. On the back end, they got top all stars the lead. He's guys. As for mental and that gets us, I just I did save this for last because it is the best division right now. It is the south and I've said that too many times this year to too many people lately to write. Yeah, I think is become over the self. So they loo and I'm Texas this last week. Cannot wait to get that ice. Listen to it like ten minutes after you post it. Also we get the group text, you know, for the sound. I cannot wait to get the ice worse tomorrow. But I then knocking the self guys a lot because as strongly that I feel that the final qualifier between the north and east is going to be the north, I feel the same way the fall final qualify between the central and south, there's going to be the self. But once getting really interesting is up until there's recent skid. Anyone that's in the south had to feel like if we win our first round, we know that we're gonna at least hosts the found a qualifying game, except if it's against the railers. There is a potential that all four teams in the south finish the regular season with more points than any team in the center. That is crazy to think about. Stuff tough to swallow and and all of those things. You got to kind of they're beating up on each other down there. Yeah, it has to be losers, and that's the unfortunate, the unfortunate part about it. But it's going to be interesting to see who comes out of the pile at the end of it all, because it is a slugfest. We have six people take pride of that. To deal though, like all these conferts, all these divisions these coaches take pride of. We hear it all time, right, we get the text, the calls to showcase conversations of the sounds is the best. Like even you know, protect new jerseys don't really like each other too much, right, but you know Terry Watton at poor bolster on say soul's the best. There's still the fence that that feeds. You know which we lost the best is how we started watching each other right now with the hopes that somebody falters in a way, right, because you know, when I the game I'm going to write little flyers, rough riders, if the rough riders beat the little fires, all three teams in the south are doing handstands and cart wheels and excited as hell at right. So that's what makes this so fun. Down the stretches they're watching every single point so closely and what makes a really unique for this group is that our mileage rule for the playoffs as if you're over a hundred and twenty five miles, the higher seed hosts all the Games. So the only the massives that are under a hundred and twenty five. We're talking about Maryland, little flyers, little fires, eighty sevens and little fires, ducks and ducks sevens. If you're hosting Marilyn, you're hosting Maryns all the games most likely, and vice verse of US an other way around. So I know we've kind of differed all year long about who we think is going to win this division. So let's put it on Tyler and say and find out who he thinks is when this division. It is the division that is...

...the one that I've had the least exposure with throughout this year, but I think that from the opportunities that I I have seen them, I think what the eighty seven's have done from the beginning of the season to now, I think it does speak for itself, because when I saw them earlier in the year they looked like they were in a real rough place. They look like almost the shell of what they were a season ago. Look like they were a little direction less trying to get a hold of the year and then they went on that massive, massive winning streak and didn't really plateau after that either. They've remained extremely competitive and if maintained that that high level. So I think that they're going to end up hanging on and clinching that that first seed and I think in the end they'll be the ones to come out of the south. But it's not going to be easy because I think that all three of those other teams, they're all have different things about them that make them very difficult outs and and I think in particular with Marilyn and the flyers, those are two teams that they're they're right there. They're they're not too far behind the eighty sevens at all. But I'm pretty confident that I'll end up being New Jersey and in the end, and then what about a final qualifier between the central and the South? I think between the central and the south, the final qualifier will go the way of the South and I think that team is going to end up being team Maryland. Actually, and I'm not the only one just and and it's I can see. I it's it might not be the sexy's the sexy's biggest speak. But but they were a team that really jumped out two things fast this season. They got off to that that quick start and at one point they had the best record in the EHL. At the beginning of the year. Toad off a little bit, sort of stumbled a bit, but they have regained form and they are a team that has some individual players who can really pop out at you, like offensively, and obviously they picked up Jackson and Bernard as well, and that's quite an acquisition to make, along with John Werber and net to. So they've showed up in positions where they've had to shore up in and they've got some players up front that I think are are really talented and and they could be a team that potentially outscores their way their way on through through a qualifying games. What what I was thinking and to because we talked about it last year and I still think it's true. Josh Fosco also just is a really good coaching in employing that playoff kind of style, meeting potatoes, blocking shots. But that's also where the little flyers scare me. They have eight players from Michigan and even though we were talking about how the little flyers put up a lot of points. Those kids from Michigan also had that lunch Pale attitude where they can play of a hard physical game. So even if the eighty sevens do manage to come out of the south, I'd be scared of either the little flyers for team Maryland, because they're both skilled and they're hard working and I think either one of those things could easily make a run to the frozen finals too. Agree with you there and think spot I'm pretty sure Anthony's found lull of fine pick was the ducks. To sit in. That too quick, quick story before we let Tyler go, because this is a funny moment we had during the Road Tri we I'm down here with Joe Bratania August to commission of the ehl myself, and we were meeting with Andrew Goldman from the Maryland Organization, and after the game ended today, which was a three nothing victory for the sevens over Maryland, Andrew said, do you guys want to say bye to Josh before you leave? And I was kind of like, gonna see Josh again on Friday when Marilyn plays the ducks. But Andrews kind...

...of making a point to go stay by. So while we're waiting in the office, Joe Looks to me and goes in my past history with the hockey's I'd never wanted to go see a coach after a loss. It was like it's cardinal rule. As he says that there was a little bit of a blow up in the locker room after the after the game. It's so funny because I cuse, I look at Joe and I go that was your point proven right there, and we're going to we're gonna see Josh on Friday. Yeah, I never talked to a coach after a loss. That's it's funny cause is one hundred and one. Josh came out of the Locker Room pretty quickly and saw us where we left. He just like do you guys hear that? It really yeah, and he's like send a message division stuff. It's like, Oh my God, but he says he said a great lone of the end he said I truly believe that any of the flour teams can win this thing. It's just a matter of who shows up that week. Yeah, absolutely, who gets beat up the most. Yes, I don't think these teams are to be living be in which show out of each other. The Bull runch here. WHO's marked like? WHO's gonna come on their a lot? It's gonna BE BOP. Resiliency was the toughest. So that'll do it for our look at where things around the EHL. I'm sure things will get even tighter and more competitive in the next week or so. I think we understand. You probably all know who next week's guest is. It's going to come on and talk about the EHL P races, but I'll tease that for now and we'll get it over to fantasy. It's time for the e grew fantasy challenge and the ecrew fancy challenge is presented by by a steal the spot shrink of ehl used to Promo Code e show. That's Es Hrow for twenty five percent off when you check out at bio steelcom. Okay, Jeff, I had sixty six point four points last week. Then you're like, you know what, guys, gonna go a little bit quieter this week. Gonna go three points less, all right, a little less, my God, like my God, i the the ups and downs that I have experience and fantasy. Then I see like you guys like doing this on the side. I'm like, this is just this is not my year. I know, I know the brackets coming and I feel confident in my ability is to pick a good bracket, but this is just no right. Kept my week because I got the time. I get the pick. First I had bobby buyer who, in the middle of the week got injured, then got healthy, but got me, got me fas, got me, I think, to post hit live it in person, like each time he hit the post that all part of me died inside. But that's the absolute worse. Oh my God, Alex Newton with a power play assists for me, Cam Carol, I feel better about those railers games going in. So he got me one point, eight points. I mentioned Dallas the motto, pointing out his four point game to me, which led to eleven, eleven or ten points. And then Nick Marion Gola. I was the first of us to we go out on a limb and pick a goalie for the ehl Pie slot. So twenty five point, six points gives me the first chance to pick this week. And you know what, we have the graphic ready. So Justin we're going to post it. This time. It's big mactime again. I need to go back. Wow, go back to the wall. I just have to. Last time I picked him he had five goals, five assists, one power play point, he game winner and a hat trick. So, like I just I just need it, just needed. Gonna try up this. We Great. It's needed now. So and I'm going to be there in person to watch the first game with that. So I'm going on Matt Herrick on defense. Then s two next games coming up are against the Apple Corps, who are part of the WHO are the you division as the central Nathan Miller in gold. They have a couple games coming up and, as you pointed out, the Rangers or coach DiCaprio was it's Miller is...

...net right now for this foreseeable future. Not that Jackson's a slut, betty means, but this is what rich does late in the year and kind of sticks with that. One Guy. He mentioned how Jake Murphy is has been dropped to the fourth line, but he has been scored. The other day, as he and I even said the rich, I said I'm picking one of your forwards this week because you have three games, because your favorite, your favorite forward right now. He said Jake Murphy so boom, Jake Murphy, and then, going off game count, the seahawks play four times. So Ethan Decker, come on down, all right. Next we did have a last second switch based off games also place. That took place today. I have to say this, though, because Lauren's going next. The Week I picked Colin Bella. He got me an assist, single assists for Lauren. It was four goals, to assist, to power play points and three short handedge thank you, by the way. One goal away from time bright SWINTON's all time record in the EHL. Four goals, a seventy six did the score. He's gonna surpass that. Three assists for Corey pophouser. No, I can't, I can't get that right. Jackson Bernard, you know, tough week for a team. Marilyn, you didn't get the win because that was prior to the week starting. When he beat the applecorps, you at the loss, unfortunately. Jack Lee is just putting up rockets of points two weeks in a row. You're welcome, guys. I discovered him for every time. Twelve fantasy points for Lauren, and then I go for Philip Parker. And when you put up forty three point, eight points and you still pick second like that's ridiculous. Good this things. Who Do you got this week, Lauren? Oh, I'm bringing back some familiar faces, I think, a couple only ones up front, starting with a big, heavy hitter getting fired up over here with Mr Jordan Camilla. Don't have to say too much about him. He speaks for himself. He's so good. He's just as you say, puts up buckets of points us. Carlos, I'm hoping for some goodness from you again this week. I'd love to having him before on my team this season, so I'm excited to have him back. I'm stealing one from Neal. I think you know had him last week. Alex Newton from Maryland. I'm picking him up. I heard he's doing pretty good, so trying to hope he keeps that up. For me this week, I could use some more points. I love a hat trick, Oh, on backdoor, backhanded, spartanded, if you want to manifest that for me. I'm so okay with that. First fire ever score short ended on the power play. At the same time from Laurence Smith and in net we're bringing back a familiar face. He just got back to back goldender the week honors Mr Lennie Parno, lumberjacks. How are you? You're doing so good lately. They're going to be in town this weekend playing the wolves, so that should be fun. And for my utility pick, I am double dipping from the lumpiece this week. I am picking the start captain himself, Brandon Clark. I'm so excited. He's been so good lately, so I was absolutely gonna stab him up by so ready for him to just go off and get the con points for me this week. For my p Pick, I'm also picking from the SEAHAWKS. They have a ton of games coming up, a ton of I think they play like four different teams, I remember correctly, and Max Greco has been quite a big name for them recently. He's been just all over the score sheet, so I'm excited to pick him up. I'm hoping for some heavy hitters of all these guys this week. And I mentioned this switch because, hey, the switch in the order, because up until today you were going to pick after Anthony, but because Anthony had more points today, he picked after you. Anthony had ever snider get him a goal Dominic Jericho with a pair of goals in an assist Nathan Miller White.

I'm hoping I can get some of these. Guy Anthony, three wins this past week, including one of them via a shutout shout. Kevin Johnston didn't get you anything, which is surprising because he's been excellent for the wolves this season. And then three goals for Connor Mac a lear, a total of forty eight points, six points. And again, I just said this with Warren. To put up forty eight point six points and not pick. Last is Asoma. So, Anthony, who do you have? Who Do you have for pick this week? How all right, so team Anthony this week I'm going for the Boston Junior Rangers at the forward position. Will he lucky? Before his game against the seahawks earlier today? He had points in three straight and I think he'll be able to get back on the score sheet no problems. So come on then. Will on defense, I'm going back to the New England wolves. They've had been playing well and I think declin house will be a solid addition. In two games against the Sea Coast Spartans, he put up six points, including two goals and an assists in that nine for when they had over him I think it'll be a solid addition on the Blue Line for the for the goaltending position, I'm going to the avalanche. I know we are talking about how they've been in a bit of a rough spot, but gotta to go running Mobley. I think he'll get back on the wind column. And at the utility position, I'm going for one of the Michigan Michigan Boys, for the little flyers, Adam Bow A. Thirty five points, thirty one games through the last three games have been multi point games, including two goals against the eighty seven's back on February fourth. So that's a pretty easy pick. And just like the first two rounds, I'm going to the seahawks for the EH LP. Dylan Zebo. Oh Man, he's been so good for the Seahawks, P team to four points and thirty games, coming off a point where he had an assists in a game against the Boston Junior Rangers, where they want today three, two. So he will be my a hlp pick. We get the Jeff, so it's YEA Jeff, silent, Silent Class Golf Clubs. Thank you, sir. I mean this is just stupid. Don't clinics come for all of you. After Jeff put up sixty six point four, he puts up sixty three point four. A goal and to assists from Nick Colin in, three goals and assists and a power play point from Jj Cretan. Three wins, divn hundred, everybody with a hundred and seven saves. Two of those wins were against the top five ranked team, in the avalanche, for Twenty eight point four points from money Perno, Patrick Doyle also had a post today, Jeff. So to go with my bobby? Yeah, out, let's do it. Would have been an assist for me too. So just I felt I felt pain. But two goals and assist a power play point for nine points. And then a goal and two assists for Trent King, bringing you all the way up to sixty three point four. And, Jeff, if you can put up in the s again this week, then you trophy. And you who you got this week. All right, so this week, so we stick with the thieves. I said, you guys all over the maps. The playoffs thing was hard to follow. Jeff, this is all right. So let's go for the back it, though. We'll start with why where all my little flyers gear? So thank you, hy we're so for setting the flyers gear. Get any other teams want us to the stag will where the podcast is sent it to us. Just ask this to be shy. So Joseph Henson's going back to the pipes. Already had a couple of times this season. We've talked about the little flyers quite a bit this episode quite a bit the last few weeks. One ten of their last eleven games and ten sin's got seventeen wins on the season. They played three times this week, so I figure he's gonna get the bulk of starts. Then staying with a little flyers. When we said starting goals, we're going to defense.

Everybody still follow along. Excellent, Chris Blancos back a little flyers. He's got seventeen points and sixteen games as a power play goal, six power play assists. He has five points in his last three games for the little flyers. And we're going to move on to forward. I believe I still have him Callin calendar. Yes, you don't want my to excellent only place twice this week, but he's one of those guys in our league that doesn't need any games to pick up a lot of points. Hence last week seven points in one gamers team. Marian too goes five assists. That can be eight weeks worth of production of one game. That's some called county can do. So I'm gonna go with the numbers and think that he might have stay games this week, as the apple were so fun. Go like Fin. He is, he's he's a machine. He's an absolute machine. It's going to Jorda Watch. And then my utility pick. I'm going to go with Josh Rod, who's been a little quiet recently, only as an assist in his last five games. But again we've talked about who plays a lot. This week we just played three times and gruns been almost point game player besides the scoreless street recently in four last five games. So we go back and think that he's gonna like things up and that this is the most exciting pick is you know Trevor Blackbird as part of our he crew family. Well, Jane blackers, come on down. I don't think any of us have picked jade this year, which is I don't know why. I know that. Kids of my he's got twenty four points, twenty nine games, fourteen goals. Tennisis he doesn't everywhere to depend. He did the Ben mcclashing Celly the other days. Look the hair back real quick. Kids of ball are kids of baller. He's got to power point goals to powerlaly assists, five short ated goals to shortand and assists. So the bulk of his points come on specialty teams. And because check out our standings. Power play points is where I like to do a lot of my Dada blusher. And how are you? So take notes, take notes, and that's all I got for you. To standings. Have Lauren at six hundred and fifty two point eight, Jeff at six hundred and twenty two point six, myself, Neil at five hundred and seventy two point four. Brought myself the deal. I've been talking to that third person a lot lately. And Antony and seventy, tyler. So again another division with four teams in it. Who Wins? The e crew finish you challenge for us to choose. When this is when he just accidentally hits the leave button. Sorry, my Internet slam that's cutting out. Told your episode. Welcome, welcome to the tough one. Let's hear it. Well, here we go. You know, I think he was recalled together in the next I just hope that everyone else. That's all excellent. Rogers, just but I mean more it has been running this game the entire year, I feel yea, she really has just from the jump taken it by storm. Jeffers, for a long time. Yeah, that's that. I mean as much as as much as I love Jeff Neil and Anthony and you guys are all great. Yeah, my broadcasting buddy, of course, you know, always, always a special place in my heart. But I think for the competition, I think, I think Lauren's gonna kind a most likely close to that, to that, to that championship. The penthouse is quite nice, you guys, but I love of course, we love you too.

So okay, that's pulling board vitailor for all bulletin board material. Wow, it's hard to say. I'm a good motivator, do we noted? So that gets us to what to watch for it. Before we wrap things up, here's what to watch for this week in the e show. What's watch force presented by hockey TV, the official streaming plot form for you EHL and EHLP. Typically at this point we highlights some games to watch, which we kind of already all did in an earlier part of this podcast. To me still, the two game series in the lost the wolves in the lumberjacks. What were did I just say? Then called? Well, don't know what I just said. I'm runch at ten. Yeah, so much time in the car. Should have this pass my one glass of milk and then I go to bed. I can tell just of your total voice earlier where you came out at the end of the shift, at the end of the ice long two and a half of the totally I like to live in New Hampshire because there's no traffic. I want today in the middle of nowhere, which is fine. There's no traffic because at one point today I was on a five lane highway and every single lane was dead stopped. Leave it. Welcome to the self. In the first thing I said hockey team's good traffic. The first thing I said, the fust going I saw them. I was like, I did not realize truly how far they travel to get to our showcases, like it is amazing. That is like it felt like a journey, like a long, never ending journey. Knee, Neil, Neil, ticket from the NJ transit apologis well, the way to go. liber liberate yourself from the Tierny of cars and highways and traffic jams to the train. And these were ucing his carpents. Oh my God, accepted my history class. Rest of the PALMO. It is cool to drive through areas that you haven't been through before, like so I drove to the Baltimore tunnels and it was like no, no explosives or whatever that no has met. Whatever was that was okay. I'm just as like, I guess I'll pull over because clearly my cars filled with those right now. But it was it was cool. It was different, but I'm going to the to the little fly for refresh tomorrow and that is a nine mile drive. So nice and he's plenty of my articles is to you. Plenty of plenty of big games to watch, plenty of content still coming out from US too. I know we got a special feature coming out soon.
