On this week's episode, we take a look at a handful of ehl players that will be chasing after records in the final month of the regular season. However, to start things off, we chat with Andrew Harley, and alumni forward for the east coast wizards, who is currently ranked in the top fifteen amongst all scorers at the NCAA division three level. Following the conversation with the ALOM, who is now at Sunny Brockport, we break down all the latest and greatest with the weekly rundown and reset our picks inside the fantasy challenge. Then we wrap things up by circling some matchups where there's key points on the line this upcoming weekend. I'm joined now by Andrew Earley aforda sunny brockport. How's it going, Andrew? Good? Are you good? Thanks for coming on the PODCAST. I know this is kind of a unique one for me. I had to pull the Jersey. I am wearing your Old Jersey because it just fits so right. But I have to ask for we get started. How did this happen? Do you remember? I don't remember that at all, so I'm thinking that might have happened and the transition after I left. But okay, I don't recall that being there, because there is a giant hole in New Jersey, but it has the Harley on the back. I've been in this league for this my seventh year. You're probably one of my favorite players to watch. We're going to get into that now, because looking back on your time with the wizards, let's start with this. What brought you to Bedford? And I was I mean I played coming out of high school. I played high school hockey. Wasn't playing the high level of travel, little split season Aria, but so mean. I just reaching out the coaches and the EHL. Thought it was a good fit for for my play coming out of high school and visit a few teams and just like the like the culture that Freddie had at the time with the wizards and with Corey. They're running it, and thought it was a good fit for me to help develop my game to get to the next level. And one of my favorite reasons why I like to watch you play that first your two thousand and eighteen nineteen. It felt like every other game it was either Ford or d was that something that you kind of volunteered for it and Freddie just put you in that position? Yeah, I think we were about fifteen games into the season and I found myself I was looking on the outside, looking into the lineup, and we had a bunch of injuries on the back end. So Freddy just called me in one day and said would like to put you back in D to help fill in for some injuries, because right now you find yourself out outside of the lineup and forward, and I was just happy to be in the lineup, whether that was offensive defense. So you fast forward then to the following year, the two thousand and nineteen twenty season. Did you expect yourself to put up sixty points that year? I wouldn't. I wouldn't say sixty points, but I think through the going back to the following year, going into playoffs, we got about a bunch of guys back on the back end. So I actually move back up to forward just for the playoffs that year and had a pretty good, pretty good postseason. So I was definitely going into the next year with a lot more confidence than I had the previous year. I think that off so that was a big offseason for me. On my own working out and stuff. I think I put on fifteen pounds muscle going into that following the next season. So I expectations were definitely higher. I don't know if I was looking at the sixty point mark, but there's definitely looking to improve a little bit on the previous season.

I'll far into that two thousand and nineteen season. When you're paired with Darby and chance Gorman, did you guys as aligned realize we have something kind of special going here? Yeah, I mean I think the season started I don't think the three of us were together, so we reach doing pretty well on our own on separate lines and then once Freddie and corey paired us up together, I mean we didn't look back after that. We're doing pretty well together. Yeah, and now when you look at these these rosters at the division three level, there's so many ehl alumni. Has So many different schools, but one that always stands out as brockport. There's eighteen alumni on your team and in particular there's some from the avalanche, some from the Rangers obviously yourself from the wizards. The way that two thousand and nineteen twenty season ended with all of you guys still alive in the playoffs, is there ever a conversation about who would have won? A few times my I ac see my roommate is Connor Galloways, with captain of the Rangers for the two years that I was with the wizard. So you kind of joke around because they were the league champs that year for the regular season and we were supposed to play them in the next round after we beat the seahawks. So there's a little little chirping going on about what would have happened in that but I no, I guess yeah, you never knows. Whenever be able to actually know what happened. So you went back home, though, to go to Brockport. You're obviously from up there was, but was that always kind of your number one choice? Absolutely not coming coming out of high school. No, I was going to play juniors. I thought for sure I would. Would like. I didn't no plans that going to Brockport, especially going to Brockword high school. But then being away, being in Boston for year and a half, two years, and been talking to coach Dickinson and getting out for a visit once in the second season juniors, there was just there's no place I'd rather being out. So yeah, worked out perfectly. There you go. So obviously we just talked on the two thousand and nineteen twenty season and how you had won that series with the seahawks and then kind of things just stopped you. Then fast forward, you become a freshman in college. What was this past year like? What were you able to actually do with your team during the pandemic of this yeah, yes, so last year we did just about nothing really. So we did it. We never got any ice, so we weren't able to skate as a team at the school. There was one of our players his dad runs a little skills at a local rink. So we did that on our own a little bit. So we did get on the ice a little bit together, but not as a team. So how did how did you stay in hockey shaped in throughout the time? Try stated as much as I could and work out when I got the chance, but it wasn't wasn't a lot going on on that front. Then I have to repeat a question that I asked before, because this is tendally like your freshman year of hockey, the start that you're off to. But did you expect this out of yourself? Um, I mean kind of. I wasn't sure right so I'd never played at the college level and didn't know what the speed was. So there's definitely an adjustment period the first couple of games or were I wasn't really doing what how I'm producing now. But actually my whole line, we're all in our first year and we've just clicked really well together and we're just gotten on, gotten in a really good group move and looking to keep that going. was there a specific moment in one of the first few games were a goal was scored a hit where you had to pinch yourself and say all right, yes, I can play at this level. Well, I don't think there was ever a question of whether or not I could play at the level. But I think our plats for game, I think it might have been our fourth or fifth game the season that Platsburgh came down and we beat them seven three. I think we had an outburst of four or five goals in the second period that my line contributed three or four of them, and we just kind of knew right there that that we're going to be able to do this this year. So and you've got twenty six points...

...right now. I mentioned that a name earlier when we're talking one of your linements when you were with the wizards, chance Corman. So going into this past weekend you actually trailed chance in total points. Now you're ahead of them. Are you guys keeping in contacts? That is they're a little competition going on? Is that not happening? I wouldn't say that. I mean he came up and replayed them. They got the best of us this in this year's meeting. But so, I mean we talk to him a little bit, but I mean I've been keeping tabs on where he's at. But no, no official conversation. I mean you're tied right now for fourteen in the nation in scoring. I mean I know you you're saying that you're not surprised, but to be off to this kind of start in your first year, what is the coaching staff up there saying to you? I'm not not a whole lot. We're just focus on focus on the play off this point, getting the good seating and making a run that. We got some very competitive teams in our league. With Dennisto us we go plattsburgh. So the main focus right now is getting to the best spot for playoffs and trying to make a run surprise some people. And I don't want to look too far ahead because of course the playoffs are first on your mind, but for us, as a lead, the next time we're going to see Brockport, most likely will be in this upcoming fall we take our ALLSTAR team up there to face you guys. I know that's an event that you did not get a chance to actually play in, but for the players that do play in that from from the Ehl all stars, what are you gonna say to them about that experience? How important will that be for them? I think this I mean I mean it's the same as every day it it's a great lea. You get in front of a lot of college coaches. So you just got to take advantage of each game and each allstar event, whatever it is, showcase, all star game that coaches are at, coaches are paying attention to, and just put your best self forward and try to impress. Well. It's awesome. It's great advice and I appreciate you coming on and, like I said, this is hanging downstairs. I knew at some point I had to have you on this. You've got to rookie of the week awards from the SUNNYAC and you're just absolutely killing it in your first year. So keep up the good work. Thank you. Thanks for having me on. Thanks again to Andrew Harley. Thing on the podcast this week. A second year, I guess you could say, forward at study brockport and get the plan this first year. But a kid that's absolutely killing it. And yes, I still have the Jersey on. From what I interviewed him is his Jersey. I like how we didn't know where this hole came from. That's in it, but it's all good. Let's now bring in the e crew now and guys I had a great box come in the mail today and inside the box where these lovely championship hats for that that thing called the frozen finals. Yes, snap, like when this stuff starts to arrive, it starts to feel real. You know what I mean? Yep, like we're a hell of a lot closer to the finals that we are from the start of the season at this point. Right it's all coming together, like teams to start to see their games play go from double digits to signal digits right, crazy. I know we've talked about that before, like how many games do you want to play down the stretch here, because March comes and goes like that, does so just over fifty days from the frozen finals and another great factory, I guess you could say. Of what I noticed today. We're chasing a lot of records right now. So let's start talking about those in the weekly run down. It's time for the e cruis weekly run down. EACHURE weekly run down is brought to you bydy junior hockey podcast, your home for junior hockey news, knowledge and nonsense. Check them out at tjj podcastcom. So I want to talk about the records and then the power rankings because the Connecticut Bella's, I mean the Connecticut rough riders, one six to two today and...

...he had four goals in two assist and he could have scored a fifth goal. Also wors it for sixty points. Collum Bella, Anthony, you wrote about this like he's he's gonna break the goal record. Yes, well, he is. If you just out the regular season. He is now at seventy one career goals. In the EHL. Bryce Whitman holds the record for seventy six. Now, Neil. On the website it also includes postseason. So Whitman is at eighty three goals, or now eighty one, eighty four, now eighty four. Column Bella is at seventy three goals because he has to postseason goals. So he has eleven games left in the regular season and he'll need a six goals to break the regular season record. Whill need eleven to tie the overall record. And you don't know how many postseason games he'll have. Right, like he gets at least two, right because everyone makes the playoffs. If the rough riders go on and lose their best of three series in two games, that he has thirteen games left to get eleven goals for the all time record. More importantly, though, for him, in the eleven regular season Games, can he score eleven goals to match his brothers forty? The fact that he just scored for today. I'm not worried about him breaking records. Is. Is His brother worried? I think. I think the rest of the league needs to worried anytime he's left alone with the puck because most times it's gonna end up in the net or it's going to get passed through a teammate who puts it in the net. All said, barn it's always what happens. Yeah, he also has one more game against the eighty seven's. He has seven goals in his last two games. I guess the sevens. I want to know if you said, frustraate, know this. This is what so we need to quote yourself from a previous episode. You, yes, you at the big motion for you is, though, like we know, you're a big sevens and Bella Fan. Which one is bigger right now? Well, yeah, it's funny. Being the eighty seven announcer, I'm thinking, come on, like, why is he scoring so many goals against our guys? But as an employee of the Eastern Hockey League. At the same time I'm just thinking I kind of want him to break that record, and I said this before we started recording. I was kind of hoping he'd get the empty letter and get five goals that game. The game was already out of reach that point. I was thinking, come on, just get one more, but he passed it off. I believe it is j justice who got the empty letter. If these are how many man he wants, what's good for the brand and it'll be a fun article for you to write. Did you guys realize Andrew is now goes by AJ Bella? That's strange. He kind of did a little bit when he was in the lead. Yeah, yeah, I mean both kids can just shoot the lights out. That's that's the biggest thing, right. So everyone circle every single rough riders game on the schedules rest of the way because we're all watch and see if Bella scores. Now let's go to the goalies. We finally got to use the graphic that Justin made, so maybe the do it picked up the fourteen shut out of his career. So he's now with the all time leader in League history with fourteen shutouts, passing Brendan Brawley, who had thirteen. But he's not the only goalie that's chasing records. So we'll start with the other one that he's chasing. He's at forty three all time wins and the record for all time wins, also held by Brawley, is fifty one. So kind of similar statement that I just made. He has only so many regular season games left, plus postseason, so they get those eight wins to tie in nine to pass. We'll see if he gets there. But also in terms of wins, Ronan Mobley as quietly, I guess...

...you could say, one hundred and twenty two games this year. Do you guys know what the record is for wins in a single season for a goaltender? Wy, I'm gonna Guess Twenty s twenty eight, Twenty Eight, Oh, Jeff just throws that number out there with Jeff Newell was coming right now one. That was Billy Gerard in the two thousand and nineteen twenty season. So makes sense Mobley is fewer wins away from breaking that record. Then Miller is the other one. Mobbly could come from Miller's shut out record to new he's got eight shut ups. If you check our shut out lists, the at least right the terms of this season, it's eight shutouts to six Miller versus Mobley, right, and today, February second, two thousand and twenty two, Mobley has the edge and the goalie of the Year award. Yep, I would say that. Or Games played and they got to me. Just talked about Bella has the edge in the MVP award, by the way. Right back to that for second, but I mean that's that's the crazy about the rangers to write is and you got to give credits Chris Jackson right. Chris and rich have been they were one a, one B for a little while and then Chris is kind of taken a back seat and letting he's let mills get out there and get as many starts he can so they can get the award. And I was happy to be on the call for that game the other day and the guys were watching nate just turn around and flip the goal down and God, I don't know, I'm not a fan of that. No, personally I don't. I don't like mess right and I feel like the goal being thrown onto the ice and gullpegs owing ever, as a mess. That's that's just makes sense. What I think about too, with we were talking about, me and coach keeper were talking about after the game, for Miller to pass guys like Billy Gerard and Eggbert that have also gone on to have successful careers in college. To that's saying something that the Rangers to have no shortage of good goaltenders to come through the doors and and Miller's been unbelievable and we'll see if he gets that wins record fifty one with probably, but you know, he'll definitely pass Tilbur and forty five. You've got to thank yeah, and it's unique to see a goalie of the year come back, potentially not when the award again, right, but that's how good Mobley has been for the avalanche. And that gets us into the power rankings, which for the avalanche, they won a game or they won that's what one game. Yes, they won one game and they and they lost a game. That lumberjack series. I got I got confused there for a second, but the sevens have have lost a loss behind them. Also, the ducks have a second loss. We recorded this in the middle of that ducks chief series. I don't think the avalanche can go anywhere. I think there's still number one. Yeah, I think they're still number one too. What do you guys think? I don't think anyone's done enough behind them. It's that kind of weird timber one. Yeah, and it's that weird time a year two were like certain teams of playing a lot. Certain teams aren't, because we have all these league showcases are done. So that's where we usually gotten a lot of teams playing, you know, two, three, four times a week. So the avalanche beat the lumberjacks in the first game and then actually, what was funny? I wrote this in our stars of the month. So nobly won goalie of the month. Right, he had seven starts in the month of January and the first six that he had a perfect record of six and Oh, he gave up five goals in the last start that he lost on the last day of the month. He gave up five goals. That doesn't make any sense. No, it doesn't, but that's the game of hockey. But but you're not gonna beat a division rival the lumberjacks, every single time you face them this year. Right, no, you see each other too much, you know each each other's systems. So a loss, a loss had to be coming at some point. Well, lumber that's also had a new goalie they were trying to out tune. Clearly that paid off for them. Yes, letty Purna. Can't wait to get to my to my fantasy picks. An He Purno, come on, maybe, like I just think unfortunately, no one had a perfect like three...

...hundred a week behind the avalanche to take that spot. So the ABS have to stay at one. From there I don't know what to do, guys, because the eighty sevens dropped a game. It's crazy that they hit the seventeen point mark seventeen consecutive games for the what time? And in Franchise History? Anthony, another trivia question for you. Well, how many times sevens have got? How many times have they hit seventeen straight games at at least a point? That's the third time they've done it. I was the third time they've done that. Wow, so I said the WHO here you go. Clearly between seventeen the eighteen there's a problem, but to get to seventeen is pretty special. Well, how many of those are broken up by Games at son a white center? There are some I magic in that arena. This this any seventh seen just as not play well at SONA White Center, and the players even told me that. What's funny, Anthony, is we're going to do a Jersey contest at some point and then we have to do a toughest ranks to play it contest, because going to SONA was challenging and going to Meryl Fae is very challenging. Let's where the wolves play. Well, what about the pole? Everyone has to complain about the Little Wall Pole, bounce, the kick, the kick in the corner. That that's a tough place. A little stars love. That were his song. Yeah, so after this, Dude, tough how God, good time. I haven't heard one. I haven't heard one of those in a while. Jeff, wait, what is that? But the best is how would I send pictures to Justin Andy circles the fire alarm in the background of the pictures. I can't like. Oh my God. anyways, well, after the Jersey will do. Will do toughest places to play. But for the sevens, they entered the week with a record of twenty nine or twenty three nine and four. The end the week, kind of like the avalanche, they won one they lost one. Did somebody do enough behind the eight sevens to take their spot at number two? M I don't think so. Really, you gotta keep them the too. Okay, now three. WHO's three? MMM? So we had protect there. It's a debate between the ducks and the flyers. are like really close. I can't put the flyers. Are the flyers this got shut out three nothing. Protect just lost two to the Chiefe. Who is? See? WHO IS TEAM MARYLAND? That mean they can figure that out all? They've got a little bit of new life into them thanks to Jackson Bernargan, his first shut out with them. Yeah, shut out of our decision, especially the flyers. Vice is still raget goals at a unbelievable rate. That apple coming up, that apple core series, and for army thirty seven, say so the little flowers. We're sending a lot of punks on goal and I think for Burnar, for Bernard, it wasn't too much different than any even starts from Apple Core Basing over the thirty foo shots in that game. I was gonna say the defense was stronger in front of him that it was when he was on the core, but yeah, still see he's one of those guys just works better when he sees a lot of action. I think if he doesn't see as much action, that's when I feel like he gets to get into trouble. But Yeah, nice additional team, Aron. We walked in the avalanche at one and eighty seven to to the ducks. Since last power rankings lost. The chiefs beat the apple core. The express a two games the chiefs. Well, we were in between, though, because looks like because we record it was lose the cheese record at nearly midnight for us and then lose the chiefs again. Yeah, but the game wasn't overtime the second one, but still the last week. Yeah, Walpole lost their only game of the week against the wolves. The little fires swept their two games set with the rough riders. Because I got shut out by Maryland and the worlds are picking up doing aw wolves pick the rangers off the other day too. Who are the New England wolves with the DEDICAT rough rides? Who was see Maryland? who was the seacoast parts secos back...

...to five hundred in the north? Who is anybody in this league right now? Absolute Mess, that's what it is. WHO IS gonna hold up this hat when all its sudden done where. It says champions on the back of it. Nobody knows. We don't know. Can't make an educated prediction right now, not this thing. Someone, someone, take a shot at number three. I'm I can't look at the chat right now. Someone take a shot at number three. Who wants to take a shot? Who Do they got there? I honestly don't know. Let me leave the ducks, leaving the ducks of three warners, as I think so, because they split in their seventy two and one the last ten. But then the little fires are also seven two and one the last ten. But, like, I don't know. Just Lee leave the duck set. Three little flyers too, for let's have fun with it. Let's go ducks. Three little fires for Maryland. Five, who sound south? South, what that would fire up the league. You got the avalanche at one and then you have the south. Where do you get Maryland from in all of this? Because Marilyn, if you look back at my pics, is gonna be the Fintal qualifier. Who Wins the south versus central? Last spot it Marilyn. Itally thrown in to the power rankings somehow at the end of NEWINGTON showcase. I knew Jackson Burn I was going to Maryland and that's how they're going to go to the frozen five. So I'm sticking with that pick. Justin brings up an interesting going about the wolves and we said picking off some teams lately, but it they just lost six to one the day. They were according this to the to the lumberjacks through and they also still press and Bjr. I don't like. I give them votes again, but I don't know if they can go in over for Mont for my just split with the with the APPS. They're still a game under five hundred two. Not a huge fan of putting teams under five hundred in the power rankings. Come on, we gotta go ABS, and then and then, and then we the south. No railers, railers. We haven't talked about the railers at all. Other railers in here. I was just gonna say the road for five you. It's got to be either the wolves of the railers. Nobody else makes any sense. Maryland, I'm sorry, does not make sense. I say railers. We can put them as like a honorable mention, but like they don't. They do not go in the power rankings this week. They have not done enough yet. I say railers. Then you know, ducks, three, little fires for railers five. They've won three out of the last four. They're starting to figure things out. beat the Rangers, beat the Wizards, beat the warriors, lost the SPARTANS. Okay, so are we? Are we still you're gonna put them in over the wolves after just beating the express and Bjr, kind of just because you got to take the whole season? I have a bone to pick with the game winning goal from the Games against the express and B are side. No, I cannot forget that. We get the fantasy. Oh It's a I think we're in agreeance that three and four, ducks and little fires. I just I have a hard time. I don't know what to do because, yes, they beat the express and Rangers, but they got beat by five today up in Vermont. Tough place to play, I know that, but the place, let do you read a write it down. It's cold. It was the breakaway ice are good, Lord, I was an icicle he would fine. Letty all that cold. Run kept telling me before I went up there. They're like, it's freezingly true, just warm, like, unless I'm just like unreasonably warm. Like. I didn't find it that cold. I've experienced much colder this season. Ye, go to the bick. It's about negative Ted and puck trough every day. Fromm there. I'M gonna say Vermont Five, not one more five. What? Yes, I I would say to the wolves of the transit, you proper, you'll beat the wolves. Let's say neils on that lumber. They beat the wolves. You know, and here I'll give you. I'll say I'll give you this one. So it's going to act as his hands. He's chopping wood. They beat the ABS, so they split with the APPS and then they beat the wolves, who beat the Rangers, beat the Express and then I could be totally wrong when Vermont host the Rangers this weekend,...

...but I want to be I want I want to look right. If they do beat the Rangers, then they truly deserve to be in the top fives and they can be in next weekend. I I just I think it's gonna be wolves are railers this week. Just look, they just have looked. Rangers are five and five in the last ten. There Cuta okay, so so do this, then so do this, then pick pick one. Wolves are railers, pick one. The wolves. Okay, Laurence, vote wolves, wonder one, Jeff, I still say railers. Oh God, now our one, Che Anthony, but anyone that doesn't get in, by the way, is receiving votes, just so we're all clear. Right Way. So the choices are between the the railers, the walls. Wolves were lumber jacks, and umber takes more years take anybody else. So we can go one UD and twenty one. And then Justin Stepson, I mean the lumberjacks have won for their last five games. HMM, though two of them were against the chiefs. One of them is against really only look at like the past week for like. When it comes down to brass tacks, were looking at like the part, like the most recent ones, not like the whole season. I feel like should come into play a little bit too, though. We're gonna have to come up with some new formats in the offseason for these power writings, because the chains format was last year. I did it. Now I make you all do it with me. I think that's the change. It goes back to. You did no, no, I hope for the lumber jocks who. Okay, lumber checks, it is lumb be. Lumberjacks are in there. Trailers and wolves are each receiving votes and will if we're wrong. Anthony and I will begin next week's podcast by saying saying we were wrong. Umber Jack's got a heck of a schedule down the stretch to if you look at all the boar. So that's where I mean. We'll see. You know if we're brighter for not so bright. Rangers, Wizards, abs twice, railers, wolves twice, railers express. That's letting the two lowest fantasy guys picking both rankings. Okay, Ye, haven't got the fish. We haven't got to finish. She's pushing say otter points. were all barely scared of the players point bark. It's not fair. anyways. Eh L P. We get to the EH L P powering things now, which last week it was abs one, rangers to Railers, three, lumberge ats for for the ABS. They just went out in one. All four of their games. This week they's so I would say they stay one. Shut up to Scillyev's by my Pepi last week. What's up, buddy? He now we was now are under the at the ABS train again, ABS train. He did a little flex and said team Jeff and then he went out and got me three. He as one. Lauren Smith one said he wrote a the rated the produce line and got me three. A God section, produce section, producing sections section. That's about go yes, oh, yes, anyway. So the ABS, last year's regular season champions, looking just as good this year with twenty two wins already. The Rangers only had one game this past week and they won five to one against the express, so they have to stay at to the railers are at three going in of the week. Hit The ice for one game, lost five two to the avalanche, but behind them Vermont got swept by the avalanche. One of those losses was what in a shootout? Other one was five. The two whether enough games that took place, though, and teams winning those games to take those two teams out. Railers and lumber checks. Same issue. The lumberjacks is last they as twice, so I don't think they should stay. WHO GOES IN? Say? Let me go through what seahawks warriors little fires...

...are now one three straight games. Yo, number one team in the South Division. So they go in in the premier than the echo a little fires even play this week. They that is an excellent question. Anthony, I don't think these asking hard ating. I don't think they did, but that's what I was like. Do they get in based off of what took place before this week? We had? We only had a small handful of games because of the snow and there's more snow coming, by the way. More, more, more, pouring of the snow. They poured snow last weekend meals. So coming Fronday. Yes, won. Yeah, the little the little flyers last game was January twenty two. Yes, and I was a for to win over the runnegades. Did anybody do anything? I get what Lauren's getting out. The lumberjacks have to go out, but who goes in then? Couldn't. Can a team go in and didn't play? No, it's that the barometer weiks. That the have we set that far? The eighty seven's played. It's just doesn't make sense. So we haven't played, but we're going to get put in. The power kings, okay, so on. They running games for too and they've won consecutive games now because they beat the Connecticut chiefs last week. But can we put them in over the little fires when they're in second place behind a little flyers right just because philled up. It didn't plays in play this week. I understand that, but just that doesn't make so you just want to have the same for I just I don't think the lumberjacks should be in, but then it's just like it makes a question of who does go in. But like, I don't. It's just it's a mess, right with the so few games we had. Yeah, there's not a lot of shit, but the very least maybe give them receiving votes. Only a seven premier games and we had seven premier games last week total. Not a big week. A lot of stuff moved. I don't know, that's a tough question. As far as if you're a little flyers, you didn't play, but the team, like the lumberjacks, lost twice. They did play to you, can you get credit for something that you didn't even participate in that week, or do you because the lumberjacks last was I think little flyers go to floor. That's my vote. Lumberjackson didn't play. Okay, Anthony Votes with me. There's who? Well, the little flyers did not play. I think you can make an argument that the lumberjacks did play themselves out of a spot. So Lauren it's tough because they've been so few pee games this week. But again, I think you see the eighty sevens just one. Yeah, but the eighty seven can't jump the little fires. No, no, but they didn't. The eighty seven's only wins have been against the renegades. I got it this look well, Lauren, if there were, they've been struggle. Lauren' coming from what I think this is a special circumstance because they've been so few games. If they have been more games, I would agree with you. If the little fliers didn't play, they're probably the other teams to choose from to replace the lumberjacks, but in this specific scenario I'm okay with putting the little flyers at number four and I'd say, at the very least have the lumberjacks of seven votes, because they're still in it. She's voting against me this week. I love it. No, Jeff, thought it with you. I actually just yeah, just, is too found rankings. Now that I was voting against Jeff. Basically have stayed at the first one. He went in the different direction than everyone else said. Jeff, what do you want to vote Anthony, are on the same page. You your vote was the little fly yes, little fires at for lumberjacks receive votes. Lauren is rinse, repeat, keep, all for the same. HMM. I'd rather be happier with that, cause it's like, if there's no way that truly played well enough to jump them, just leave them. Let's throw this wrench and though to Justin just brought it up. Little Flyers when I played twice this year. We're...

...now into February. They are well arrested team. We're moving the team that's only played twice this year. It's the power rankings, which is what you've done for me late. So, so, okay. So is your vote to stay with Lauren? I think okay. To to Justin leaven been okay. The same for say the same. No receiving votes. Do you want to go to fantasy now, because I have a haven. I have a bone to pick with fantasy. It's a really big no. It's not to come losing. I'm just really angry about this. So let's go to fantasy. It's time for the e grew fantasy challenge. In the e crew fantasy challenge is presented by Buyo steal the sport rink of the Hl us. The Promo vote e show. That's es how for twenty five percent off when you check out at byers steelcom. Okay, fantasy is all luck, in my opinion. No, it is all lock garbon. How garbage. How the week that I pick Julius Cavandal, he gets zero points, and the week that I pick cory popouser, he gets me five points. The week that you pick her Julius Lauren, he gets you eighteen, and the week that Anthony Takes Correy popowser, he gets sixteen. It is all walk. I am convinced it is all lot Neil Nio. So I'm so mad right now saying you suck it. Wow, war is going guns blazing right now. I mean from from the interview of the show. Duds comes at me and says, Oh, it's just luck here. Oh, you pick all these like random kids. I don't want kids, and yet my random kids are the ones that do the best. And like, honestly, I've gotten some of these kids on the fantasy map this season because once I pick some of these guys, they pop off and you guys are like, Oh, maybe I'll take him next week and then, Oh look, they actually do well, because I know what I'm doing. I pick the same player as you. I pick the same player as you. How did cavand'll get no points to me in a home and home series of the Spartans, and then he scores the game winning goal against the Express and the game winning goal against the Rangers, powerplay, shorthanded bonus, top five game winning goal, like I don't get it. I don't know. You make them nervous. You're the Associate Commissioner missier's curse, because he was. He was. He was annoyed that I didn't use his his beautiful shootout goal in top plays. So he wanted to show me up. Like getting a bunch of points. Okay, they're intimidated to buy your moves at the JBT, not jbj shootout, pop howser, but Anthony, more points in one game that I had the whole week with pophouse. How do you explain that? Your moves, your jeans all enough with my skinny g titles from back. Okay, the guy, did I tell you? Well, at least you now just admitted that they're s're not skinny cheens. So, and did I say skate? Whenever you wear jeans, was skates. They they get they ride up a little bit, so the legs get a little and that's probably why I got second place again. Did I tell you what he said when I went in on one of my moves? So he's on the mic the goal. That Jesse jet, whose son was the one that passed away, Jesse, who runs the event. When I hit the Blue Line, he was like, for those in the crowd that are wondering, nels jeans are twenty eight length and twenty eight waste. Could you even a Matt like? I could not hit my leg and that's what are you? Yeah, it was this. It was that your junior high did not score on that attempt. Yeah, I cuz I I think you're nickname for now on to be lean jeans. Oh my God, wow, if I get called lean jeans, I'm leaving the finals. Anyways, the recap. What's took place in our fantasy this past week, because this one's also unique. Did you see? Did you guys say had such a crap week last week, though? It's so funny that they're like, oh my God, like, I don't understand. This is who look, I had such a crap week last week and I somehow did well this week. With like no goalie point. When, when, when I pick someone that you picked and they got used there and they get me eighteen, you can say the same thing to me. I just I am rattled.

Never said it, I have never once. I'm just rattled by cly my luck with this year, but I just know these players. anyways, the final point totals of this week. You had forty one. So yes, you win another week, but you him. It did not hang out with all the cool kids, myself, jeff and Anthony, who finished with point totos of thirty one point eight, thirty one point six, thirty one point two. So clearly finishing between thirty one and thirty two was where the cool kids were this week. But Anthony has thirty one point two total points. To recap. Who got him those points? Robbie C wagon with an assist, as I mentioned. Corey popouser got him sixteen points. Matt go over with nine point two. Rhet Evan, I guess I am wrong here. He got me more points than when he got Anthony. He Got Anthony Zero, and then connor mccowell was seven, four hundred and thirty one point two. Who Do you have for this week coming up? Anthony. Okay. So taking a look around the each shirt the EHL for the Connecticut Chiefs, I'm picking Justin harshaw. He's had a couple of multi point games. At the end of January picked up a hat trick against the protect junior ducks. So, Dang, he is on team Anthony. On defense, I'm going with Dominic Metro. I pick him a couple times before. He's I three game point route. He did pick up two apples in a game against the railers junior hockey club. I think he'll be able to pick up a couple more points this week, so he is my pick. On the fence. For goaltending, I have to go Stephan Kohanik. I mean he show spends so great this entire season. He picked up forty four saves and a win against the Boston junior rangers back on January. Twenty six. That's easy choice for many. My utility has to be one of the leading scores in this league. My culture, Sony. Fifteen nine points in thirty six games. Video game numbers. He had a for it's not bad. He had a four point game against the New England wolves. That was on the defeated then one picked up a goal against the lumberjacks, so he will be my pick as the utility player. It's like he told me an exeter. They're just gelling like hand sanitizer over there. God it's because stuff they say every week. They goes for the premier pick. If you look at the stats for the Boston Junior Rangers, you'll see the Anthony Viola is at number seven in terms of points, but that's also because he's only played fifteen games. He was with the New England Wolveskhl team for the start of the season. He's now the bdjr premier team, where he was last season, and he's been doing really well. He has twenty one points in fifteen games. His last game on January thirty, he had three assists against the wallple express. So I'm picking him for my fantasy team. I fin a point, four points above Anthony At thirty one point six Jew Cameron Collins. Two goals to it says a power play point for me. Declin Bronte with a power play assist. Nathan Miller split his starts. One of them was that fourteen all time shutout. William pray had an assist. He did leave a game with an injury, so hoping it can make a recover, quick recovery for that from that, because he's a big piece of sea coast. And then I picked the wrong eighty seven premiere player, as spoker got me no points in that game, Commissrs curs. Oh Dude, like please. This is where this is. I have to just come to the realization that I need to have a strong bracket this year and come back like I did last year. But true, the All star. Oh my God. Anyways, I'll star classic, okay, and Ugh for the all stars. We you. I've moved on from those. I lost sleep for a while, but I have...

...been sleeping everybody. For my fantasy picks this week. I think that we've covered why Colin Bella has been selected, so he's my forward this week. Dollar Anasta seriously named the defension of the of the month in the EH shell. He actually was our defensive of the year and the EH LP a few years ago, and I would say he's a candidate for the same award in the Eh Shel. So maybe he does what Jack Johanson did, won the award in both the EH LP and the EHL. Lenny Perno, we talked about in a wizard bought about lenny a little bit, the new goalie for Vermont. Clearly my bold statement of two north teams going to the finals probably sounded a little crazy a few weeks ago. Now I feel better about it. Vermont is that second team. Everybody heard that here. From my utility pick, I'm going with drew olivery. In doing my research for this. The railers forward has nine points in the last five railers wins. He has that means it's time remember dry up. He has zero points in the last three losses. So when he scores they win. Drew, please score. And then from my premier pick, the little flyers, samplease. I just say please. I was polite. The little fires play the chiefs three times up in Newington. Johnny Lee's a really talented go three score who leads their team. I need the premier slot to finally benefit me because I haven't had a lot of luck with that spot so far since we added it for the second half here. So that gets us all over. Your Jeff's points, who finished point two points ahead of me. HOW DID JEFF GET to thirty? One, point, eight, yeah, all, yes, Oh yeah, its all time assists for Bova, a power play assist for Decklin House, Eleven Point, eight points for Joseph, Henston Eddie's Grigorys with seven points and then nick gives watlevs with eight points for thirty one point eight. I still can't believe that Anthony had thirty one point two, I had thirty one point six and you have thirty one point eight. But ripex for this week. Weird stuff and I'm going to try to go symmetrical this weeks. I'm gonna give you a heart attack again. I think last week I went goalie forward, back to my d back to my pain, going a crazy always. Yeah, so we're will will start from we'll give a little more semblance of order this week. They're commission. I'M gonna start with my pe. Why don't we do that? And we're going to go with lane brew, Baker Egnar. I'm going back to the well of the New Hampshire avalance. Many cal Jerry's ABS were good to me last week. Me and Nick vasilievs or friends now on instagram. He did a little Flexibogi and team jeff last week. Thank you, nick. Three assists for him. So we're gonna hope Bru Baker Egner got himself a top plague, absolutely beauty. He's got goals in five street games, Lauren too, so I'm hoping that that continues. He's got fourteen goals on the season, nine assists, six goals in the powerplay. To power play assists, get some shorties. To is to shorten a goal. So big special teams Guy Lane for Biger Egnor. Come on down, and then let's go to goaltending, shall we? NIO CAREERI valuing yours. It's kind of a bull pick. Again. It's one of those weeks where we don't have a ton of games. careery has taken the starting job to get confirmation that he should play majority of the Games this week. They have three games, so hoping he does play two out of three. Checked my sources and got that check. So we'll see and they're going to need, I think, her A. He's hungry too. He fell to the Rangers in that last game one, so got the Rangers again this week. We'll see if Carey can get his warriors the W and then staying at Paul t Gilmart memorial arena, home of the Valuejun your wars Jonathan laps up picked him a couple of weeks ago and the warriors again playing three games this week. Lapses Up to twenty goals on the season. Just had a...

...two goal, one assist effort against the wizards and that three win on the twenty seven and he's has backtoback top plays. That kid's so good top playing machines. Coming on down for team Jeff. So hopefully laps I can continue there and then from I'm going to go to the railers too because they're playing three games, but I'm going with the new name. I'm pulling a Larn I'm getting a guy on a fantasy map. I don't think we've picked this guy this year. Jack Lee. Anybody Jack Lee? No one's going twice. All right, good. Yeah, he's up to ten goals, nine assists, nineteen points. Another guy that's a monster special teams wives. Three power play goals to power play assist, three short handed goals, too short handed assist and he has a game winner in there. Just had two points against the wizards in that four wall win. So he has three goals in his last four games along with three assists. So we're going to hope the good times keep on rolling for Jack Lee and the wister railers and I'm going to see alanthonies defense from last week, Corey Popouser, because again like week, I'm Jack's played twice. Popouser up to twenty seven assists, twenty nine points, two goals, ten power play assists, one power play goal. Just had four assists today against the wolves. So hopefully he didn't use all of his power last week for Anthony can bring some of that into this week for team Jefferson. So I would just look to more than like the big thing for us this season is nab. He's it's corey that, sir, the powser, which I think he'll saw, I've always called popause. I think Gelsen Corup of powserk powser. How do how do I get thrown of the bus here? I'm saying you've always said it and you talked about him. Pouser, a pro powery ways, Jeff when you pick lane again for another week, pick other players to have a lot of letters, because that is a ton of letters in his name that you pronounced slaan brew bigger is played brew bigger anor but then he had but then you also had Jack Lee. So yeah, and I have a long one, and it's why I can't wait to have jeff makes his pain, make his picks again next week and figure out what order he'll announce them in next week. So we'll go to dude. We'll go to Lauren's picks from this past week, which we already mentioned. The best for a last we already mentioned what Julius Staid with the eighteen points he collected. Julie, I'm picking Bella this CECILY, and I probably should have picked his linematee. Dallas Tomato, who just assists on every one of his goals, because he got Lauren seven assists. Hey, he does score sometimes to does he does? He had seven assists passed last week Trent King, with two assists for you, Ryan Web, two assists in the powerplay point. And yes, Josh Coat, I got you zero. But if we flash back, he got you twenty two last time, including his own assists. Was I WASNA say. That was when he got me the he got to an assist and a top five shutout victory against Marilyn was in the top five at the time. So twenty two points sin like that's still a pretty damn good week back then. So you should feel like eleven came this week and eleven took place then, but forty one overall. So you went another week. Who Do you have this week and fantasy? I had a tough week week last week, so I'm happy with duel better this week. Starting up front and my forwards. I'm taken from the railers again. They have courty games this week. I'm picking Mr Map Mental. He's prove a smaller guy, but he's what. He's out there. You know he's out there and he'd been hitting a bit of a scoring drought, but he's finally making his way back. I was talking to our good friend Tevor Blackburn about him and he said he's getting back on the score sheet as of late. So I'm taking a chance on him this week. For My Defenseman, I'm picking from the chiefs. I'm taking a favorite of some of us here on the e crew, Mr Dominic Chair Cooke, capite of the chiefs recent sweet brockport commit I'm excited to have him back on my team. He's been looking a lot better for them to start this second half of the season, so hopefully he can keep putting up some points for me in net. Bringing back a familiar face that we all know and loves the season.

Ronan Mobley from the ABS. He's always good and win our last he's usually looking good like just he's just a good goalie all around. For my utility pick, we haven't seen this guy's name and quite a while he's been in a bit of a scoring job, but I'm taking the chance on him open. Maybe a fantasy pick will kind of give him a little fire unders but to get back on the score she a little bit. Mr Adams Zukowski from the Boston junior rangers. He's been quiet for them lately, but hopefully he'll started to turn things around here to finish out the season, get me some points and just get back on the score sheet for himself personally and for my p Pic, I'm picking one of the white team all stars. I'm picking Mr Indan Parker from the wall pole express. They have a pair of games coming up this week against the seahawks and if you look back at his records in Seahawks, the pretty good hit two out of three games against them this season he has he's gotten points in. He's been in a bit of a scoring drought lately, but the fact that he's been so good against the seahawks all season. I'm willing to take a chance on him and take a bet that this is going to be the weekend he finally gets that monkey off his back and gets back on the score sheet, back where he's known to be, and just rocking up the points, the overall points. Lauren is at five hundred and ninety point two, which again she's not hanging out with the cool kids where myself, jeff and Anthony reside. Hey, for at five o three point two. On that for ninety nine point eight, Anthony is at eighty eight point eight. So we're all within the little bit of a fifteen point margin each other. And then she's up there. So but the brackets coming. The bracket is coming. Looks Great, you guys. That's where you can make a lot of points. The bracket is coming. And before we go to what to watch for, because Lauren just mentioned his name, they gave us a shout out, so we'll give them a shutout, a shoutout. Adams Wookwski Connor Bizarre recently launched their podcast as well for Fah so pretty cool for them to to get their podcast out there. They had one of our guests on as well, and Andy Moore. We just had him on anyone on that podcast. So with that, let's get to what to watch for. Before we wrap things up. Here's what to watch for. It this week in the east show. What to watch for is presented by hockey TV, the official streaming platform for your ehl and EHLP action to the two thousand and twenty one, two thousand and twenty two season. So more games on the schedule right now. I will use the line that I use last week. Be Sure to keep an eye on the snow that is coming. So how much are we getting with the report? Now we're going to get at two feast. I don't know. Too much. Some people say eight P right, too much, Jeff. I have a Bachelor Party Golf trip that we leave on April seven, four days after the finals. We're going to North Carolina and there's going to be no snow there. We're going sure find fine hurse pin nurs okay, the way this year's going new. I would pick on that. O God, I have they went to why? Weather advisories down their liss? I have golf in the snow before those, so I'll be ready for it. Hey, we said that one of the year. It shouldn't be too hot and it's sures won't be cooled, so it'll be like full ish at best. See Two and twenty two kind of looks like two thousand and twenty. So we're dropping this on on February. Third. One thing to keep an eye on next week when we drop this February ten. Quick Math. Seven days. February ten in the February eleven is the roster freeze. So a lot of very important decisions are coming for a lot of teams here. I don't know how many trades are coming. If there is a trade coming, is coming before Monday. That's the deadline for trades. And then after that it's the ad drop of figuring out you know, you may have an EHLP player who may play Ehl and...

...or vice versa. So teams figuring out that. So crossing into February and getting the championship hats in the mail like, we start to really pick things up here. There's a lot of key points on the line. There's a ton of big matchups. For me, the first one that I'm circling is actually in the EH LP and it's not one matchup, it's three. Those three games from the little flyers and chiefs. Not sure if one team can win all three, but if one team can in all three in Newington this weekend they're going to put themselves in a very good position for the number one spot in the South Division and the EHLP. So I'm looking forward to those three games. WHO's that? Those two teams just separated by just three points. Little Flyers thirty four, Che's thirty one. Who is next? I'm said for tomorrow because it's one of my favorite matchups all season, the chiefs and the railers. I'm so excited for that. I totally I totally forgot about until mostening something earlier. I am so excited that. They have been so much fun to watch this season. I don't know what it is about those two teams, but when they play it is like the most fun hockey you can ever watch. It's just always exciting. There's it's you have to tune in for that if you're not doing anything. I think it's like eleven or thirty. Tune into that. It's so fun. So before we get to Anthony and Jeff's games, to watch, Lauren back to you. You're excited for the chiefs railers matchup. Say The railers stay at number one and they beat the applicle in the first round, we're fast for fast forward in the second round. Who should the railers want to face and the Central Division finals? Chiefs or rough riders? Do you want to think about it? Go to Anthony and Jeff for their games. Games to watch first was like I almost think. I almost think they would find it fun to play the railers because, like it's just always like a big competition between two them like I don't know, like I don't know what it is, but the two of those teams just like go at it like you wouldn't believe. But then it's like that sort of refres good. But then it's like you guys are the saying, and some people say they seem to think the rough riders is only really the first line. If you get past the first line you're fine. But like on those big moments, sometimes at eighty sevens. Today they have of the kids that can score. Yes, com bell, like it's a lot of the roles for from today alone, but like I don't know if they can pull together, like and they got to do goaltender two. Write that. That's been an issue for them is consistency in the net. So Yeah, plus the chiefs kind of rotate their realice too, which like isn't the worst thing because they do have decent goalie. So it's like you can't really go wrong with any of them. They all have their good moments and obviously, like every human and they have their bad moments, but like they have options when it comes to their goalie. So it's like they're not they're terrible. So I don't know, you don't you don't have to give an answer to the lay way. Don't think an answer to that. We have four more episodes coming in February where it's going to start to become kind of interesting to see how these matchups fall because, especially in the south, right two teams are to get knocked down the first round in the south. That are going to be pretty good. So, but we just gave Lauren and I gave some games to watch. How about you, guys, jeff and Anthony Neil, you kind of took my answer because I was sorry. Well, I was also going to be looking at those, not just between the little flies from the chiefs. One thing I want to add about the specific matchup. I feel like Connecticut is a much more physical team and they play sort of a meat and potatoes game that they all like to play the body. They have a lot of big players on their team as well, for as the little flyers P team the quicker. I think they're a bit more skillful than than the chiefs, but I think it should make for a very exciting matchup. And you know, Neil, I kind of second you and I say that I also look forward to that matchup that we can circle it twice for the EHL. I mean honestly, I'm looking forward to February ninth between Apple Quarantine Marilyn just, you know, just just because Jackson Bernard's...

...going up against his former team. I think that one should be an interesting one. And the other thing I want to mention too. We know the Apple Corps has had a very rough season, but I did get to talk to their interim coach, Joe Whitworth. He was drafting the NHL in two thousand and fourteen. He played for the US NTDP and when I was talking to a lot of the players before the game against the eighty sevens, they were pretty excited about him being in charge. They said that he's pretty good behind the bench and I think that after court could still have a rough end to the season, but I think they could still have a lot of energy with this new coach going into the home stretch. Jeff, last, but not we, certainly not last. I mean pressures are the lumberjacks with NEO rabbins pick to get them to the furs. CHANGE MY JERSEY. The lumber Jackson's downstairs. Yeah, right, get out of that wizard stuff, when a lumbria was rushing in with a lumpies today and they got two games this week, as in they're playing the rangers, who's been kind of win, lost, when lost, when lost, and then they got the wizards on Sunday. So that's a backtoback for them. It is home at letty arena, where they tend to play well. But they got Purno, is the new goaltender to so say watch out for the lumberjacks. It's tighten the north between the Spartans, wolves and lumberjacks. Thirty six three thousand four, thirty four four points. Let's see, watch out for those games. And there's a bunch of other games also, all some big points on the line this upcoming week in the ehl and the EH LP. Nash's pulling in the driver right now. Well, actually, Nash isn't driving because he's a dog called animals. It would be kind of impressive. I would not mean to say that. anyways, some big matchups on the schedule this week. Like I said, there is a snow storm coming on Friday, though, on a day where we have eight games on the schedule, so be sure to keep an eye on the schedule for that, but catch every game on hockey TV and we'll see where all these teams stand one week from today. I'll talk to you guys that. Thanks for listening to the e show. Learn more at Eastern Hockey League Dot Org and follow us on Facebook, twitter, instagram and Youtube.
